Not a big math person, but his teaching made it so that i actually enjoyed taking the class. Hid final was easy and so were most of his other tests, just pay attention and study

Mr Salain was by far the best math teacher I've ever had. I'm not math oriented and I learned more in one semester with him than all my years in math combined. He's excellent at explaining things so that it's understandable. Everyone should be so fortunate to have him as their Algebra instructor. He truly wants everyone to succeed.

Our class had a terrible professor at the beginning of the term before Mr. Salaine took over; after that the material was much easier to understand because of his teaching style.

Professor Salain is a great professor! He makes math fun, well as fun as it can be. Class time flies by. He works with you and explains it the very best and will keep going over it until you get it. Tells you what is on the test, extremely fair, homework is online! HIGHLY recommended!!

I took his MAT 0012 class and he is strict with attendance and assigns you to have to go to the math lab for at least 1 hour per week, but he is such a great professor I would take him again. I didnt find math interesting before I took his class and now I like math. If you dont understand math TAKE HIM!

Salaine is the easiest teacher I ever had. He has a good sense of humor will joke around with you at times. He makes it easy to pay attention. Took him for 0012 as well and I got As in both classes. If he would teach higher level math I would take them as well that is how easy it is in his class. If you want to learn the right way TAKE SALAINE

Anthony is a really good math teacher.Before his 0012&0024 class I had a hard time getting the real understanding of "how"&"why" in math problems.He breaks it down.ALSO he is a no nonsense kind of guy concerning the rules.When he says NO phones or laptops in class he means just that.And don't be late either.If you want a fair teacher he is the one.

I am not someone that is good at math nor even liked it before this class. Prof Salaine is one of the best teachers I've ever had and certainly THE best math teacher I've had. He explains everything until it is clear. It is a shame he doesn't teach any higher level courses. If you go to class and do homework, easy 100%. Don't take anyone else.

The Best Professor at SCF! Caring, patient, goes above and beyond. He couldn't of picked a better career. I wish all the professors could be like him. Does not tollerate lateness, or rudeness. Must take professor for 0012 AND 0024.

Great Professor!

The best professor by far that I have had in any subject. His jokes are sometimes dry but at least he tries to keep it interesting. He makes everything easy to understand and you don't have to get a book just a my math lab cause it is online with the homework.

I highly recommend him to anyone! The best teacher Ive had yet at SCF. He really loves to teach and it shows. He helped me really learn all the material. He has no tolerance for tardy of incomplete work. But if you always show up and do all our work you will pass and have a great time doing it! :)

He is a good teacher, expects you to do problems his way though even if you do not like his way. VERY strict about attendance, dropped almost half the class half way through the semester. Also be on time to class, he will call you out in front of the whole class even if you were late because of an emergency.

even though math is not my thing, I enjoyed his class. very thorough in his explainations. will take time to make sure you work the problems correctly. If you want to learn math, take him. great teacher!

Anthony is the BEST teacher I have had! He is always excited about the topics he teaches, always enthusiastic, and always willing to go above and beyond to help each student succeed. He wants his students to succeed (a rare find these days) Every school would be so fortunate to have an instructor like him and so would every student!

His requirements:My Math Lab homework and attendance is very important. He is willing to give extra credit on his test. Only wished he was teaching the upper level math courses. Great teacher!

He was a fantastic teacher. I hate with with such a passion but he made things much clearer and the class way more enjoyable then it should be at 8:00am. Take his class!

The first being I did not want to have to take a math course because I get bored easy and math for me is not riveting, but he gives instruction that keeps me interested in the class. This class is well worth attending and has helped me to refocus and solidify a mathematical base to build upon.

You will never leave the class not understanding the materials that were presented. Attendance is a must or he will withdraw you from the course.

I was originally signed up for a different professor but something happened and Salaine took the class instead and I couldn't be more greatful for that. He really cares and puts everything into helping his students understand, and he does his best to relate everything he teaches to real life senarios so you will know when to use it.

Professor Salaine teaches math in a way that EVERYONE can understand! He will show you how to work a problem multiple ways, showing that there is not just one set way to solve a problem. If you struggle with math, I HIGHLY recommend that you try getting into one of his classes. He likes to crack jokes so you'll be sure to laugh a lot too.

I have never been good at Math so I was very nervous when I began 0018. Professor Salain made me realize that it wasn't necessarily me that was bad at math, but I had teachers in the past who didn't fit my learning style. He made the classes a lot of fun (he's very goofy) and he teaches several different ways to solve a problem. 1010 great teacher

Professor Salain is by far the best professor I've ever had. He really cares about his students and was always willing to help if you feel like you are falling behind. Math is a subject I've always struggled with and he actually made math fun. All his homework and tests were done online. NO pop quizzes or in class tests except for the final exam.

Prof. Salain is a great teacher, and really cares about his students. I would of done a lot better in math in grade school if I had a teacher like Prof. Salain. There is quite a bit of HW on MyMathLab and Tests are done at home (but, you have to write it all out and turn it into him). Class usually never lets out early. Great experience overall!

Professor Salaine is a great teacher who cares if his students pass. Homework ranges from about 15-40 questions for each section. Test are done at home, but can be tedious (on average it took me 3 hours to complete) because he wants you to write out every question and answer and turn it in. Most tests are apprx50 questions. Overall, I recommend him

Anthony Salaine Is easily one of the best teachers at SCF. I was not the best at math when I took this class, not only did I pass both 0018 and 0028 with an A, but Mr. Salaine gave me great foundation which is helping me pass Intermediate Algebra with ease. Highly recommend this professor!

Best math professor I've had at SCF. I finally felt I was understanding and he was open to class questions and encouraged participation. He gives extra credit and lets you take tests online at home in order to have a solid grade for the final. Hilarious and genuinely care about his students. Would highly recommend.

Prof. Salain has to be BY FAR my favorite professor. He is very funny, and loves to interact with his class. He cares about each of his students, and loves to get to know them more. He appreciates participation heavily, and asks for no phones or computers. He starts every new topic, from the basics. Bad at math? Worried about passing? TAKE HIM.

Great teacher. Day one he says, if you put in the work show up each class, you will pass. STUDY with your flash cards! Memorize your formulas! He grades solely on the final exam. So be ready for it!

Professor Salain was amazing at doing his job. He ensured everyone in the classroom was involved in the lectures, and genuinely cared that you learned what he was teaching. He'd explain the content in a simple manner, and if you didn't understand it, he'd explain it in a way that clicked for you. I wish I could take him for my future math courses.

Professor Salain is amazing! He takes his time and shows you some trick and gives you tips. He allows for late work with a point reduction. He lectures and writes samples on the board. Homework is done in Pearson's MyMath Lab. Some chapters contain quite a bit of questions. Be prepared. No calculators are allowed during the first half of class.

his class is a fast course but for someone who isn't the best at math .He was great and very understanding. sense of humor is through the roof. lots of homework on Mymathlab but it is a fast course. will help you without making you feel bad

Professor Salain makes math engaging. Attend class, complete the MyMathLab assignments, and you'll do well. Unstuck ai was a game-changer for studying - along with flashcards, it really helped me master the concepts.

Professor Salain is one of the best professors at SCF. He's caring and makes sure his students fully understand the material. His lectures are very clear and easy to understand.
