Mr Seabrook is very patient and understanding and definitley knows computers. I was in a mandatory basic info computer literacy class (I am computer literate)but a host of others were not and they kept getting behind, blurting out stuff, coming back late from lunches and breaks and thought they were the only people in the class. He was very patient

Prof. Seabrook is a great instructor- he is funny and knows the subject inside and out. However, the 2 Saturday classes move very fast, so if you don't already know your way around windows, word, and excel- take the 10 week course instead- OR- read the books and practice before the 1st class.

Seabrook is patient, helpful, supportive and encouraging. The 2 Sat classes go too fast and there is no time to review before final, so if you are not proficient in windows, word, internet research and excel read text books and practice before the first class. I would take another class from Seabrook just to glom onto some of his expertise.

Very nice guy. Questions, just ask him, he is totally there for you. Took him for 2 Saturdays (8 hrs a piece),grading took awhile, but make sure you actually read and learn the books. The 'How to use Windows', cuz thats the test, as for class it was extremely boring, he tries to use some humor, but his voice is quiet. Wished I took online instead.

I went into this course as a novice at Microsoft Excel and other programs but I passed the class with an A when I thought wouldn't do so well to begin with. I credit Professor Seabrook's teaching style, demeanor and knowledge of the material that afforded me a plethora of information and directions on how to navigate certain systems competently.

Overall, this class was easy. He is kind of a tough grader; he would take off points for simple mistakes, but the assignments are easy to follow and there is an easy extra credit assignment. Show up both days, do all of the assignments, and you'll get an A. I did some work outside of class, but I left early both days. A book isn't required anymore.

This was a two Saturday class, mandatory for graduation. I found the coursework very explanatory. It's was easy to do outside of class as well. The stuff he went over in class was also very helpful. I feel I actually learned a lot.

I did an assignment exactly how it was explained and was graded with the feedback that I didn't use a template that was required for the assignment. I indeed did use the template and emailed him asking him to fix my grade, I even sent proof of the template. He called my email "off putting" and then waited weeks to fix my grade.
