Great teacher. Puts you in an environment to succeed. Tests are all multiple choice and the lowest test score is dropped. I got a B+ in the class and math is one of my weakest subjects.

Great teacher but she goes a little fast in her lessons.Don't fall behind and you'll be fine.

I sucked in math. After her class math became so interesting to me. I expected to get a C- the moment i walked in the class, i left the semester with a B. Shes really helpful and loves the subject.

she's pretty cool. all you have to do is ATTEND CLASS! if you are absent, then you really missed your notes! GET THEM FROM SOMEONE!! or else you'll be sorry in your exam. she will give HW it will only help you out. and incase you didnt get it, you should ask. she does have a pretty fast pace. ENJOY!

She really explains the material well. 3 tests and a final. The tests are mulitple choice, about 25 questions each. She never checks the homework, it's just for your benefit. She'll help you if you have any quesions. Just make sure you don't miss any classes, because there's always a lot of helpful notes. Drops the lowest test. Highly recommend.

Best math teacher! I am so lucky to have taken her, otherwise I would have gotten a far worse grade! She teaches really well and clearly. Sometimes she can go fast, but if you do the homework (which isn't graded, it is mainly for your own good) you'll catch up. If you really think she is strict, you shouldn't be in college.

If you miss the high school setting then you should take this professor. I was really turned off on her approach of teaching which was being treated like an 11th grader. I personally think she would excel better as a teacher in a high school setting then college. She speaks clearly when she teaches that?s all I can say positive about her.

She has a robotic way of teaching which helped me a lot. 3 exams, all mutiple choice (you don't have to show any work) and she drops the lowest grade. One final. That's what your whole grade is based on. Study your notes and try not to miss class.

Wonderful professor! I haven't been the best in math, but she makes things very, very clear. I'm really glad i have her as my professor. All you need to do is practice! She goes a little fast sometimes. Thats all. But everything is clear, and she seems to care more than any other math prof. She helps you, and goes over material, she always reviews.

If your taking pre-cal and don't have the book then this class will be a rollercoaster ride. But if you do the work and study with the book then it's very very easy to pass. Be prepared for corny jokes btw lol

Professor is awesome. 3 tests, lowest one is dropped and a final (all multiple choice). Very clear, you really should use her textbook to practice the problems. And her homework doesn't get graded. Taking her for Math 141

She's a good professor but she goes very fast through the material. She clarifies it but once you get it she moves on to the next topic so its tough to stick. She's good but in order to pass her class you have to buy the textbook for the HW problems.

I took her for precal. She was really good.Very helpful. She gives the exams back on time. She is fast tho. You have to do her hw for -yourself- so you can pass the exams(she will not collect it! 3 exams and a finals. Study ALL the previous exams for finals. Rent the textbook b/c it is needed to pass!

She is a nice teacher but she passes through her lessons quick. I would have had a much better grade is I received more help. She is a good math teacher but if you are not a great math student you should seek other help for her class. Her class is based on your three exam grades (lowest dropped) and your final mostly.

This professor is awesome. I'm an awful math student, I have a hard time with even the most basic stuff. However, I received my first A ever in math in this class. Her lessons are very clear and her exams are not hard, if you do the homework and pay attention. Attendance is mandatory. Highly recommended, excellent instructor.

Exellent professor. Goes by quickly but always leaves room for questions and her answers are very clear and helpfull. One of the best math professors I've ever had even though I recived a C+. A must take if you really want to learn something. LOVE HER!

She's one of the best math professors you could ever take. This professor is AMAZING! All of her homework is online and extremely easy. She drops the lowest test grade, and all of her exams are 25 multiple choice, the test questions are just like the homework. If you do the homework its an easy A. This professor is the best I would recommend her 100% she makes math so easy to understand and she goes through the problems step by step. Do not buy the textbook you wont need it, just buy the website code for the online homework. Overall, she is one of the best math teachers John Jay has and it was a pleasure taking her class.

I have her right now, and she's the most understanding professors! She makes math so easy and it's a pleasure going to her class. She always answers her email, which is the best! She is very polite and is NOT rude at all. Don't eat in her class, it's not allowed don't bother. LOVE her class :)

This professor was the bast math teacher i ever had. as someone who always hated math i have to say she made pre calculus extremely easy to understand and now i am in a major that is math based. do yourself a favor and take this woman

She is a good professor but u really have to pay attention bc she moves quick. Calls on people randomly so u have to know your stuff. Hmwk is online tests u have to study for by just redoing the examples on hmwk and class. Hw helps a lot

This class was real difficult. You have to put some effort in this, and if you miss a class she doesn't go back or review for tests.I definitely deserved that A. I wouldn't recommend if you wanted an easy class. You will learn alot and she does deliver the information clear.

I really liked her. I'm terrible at math but she was understanding and patient. Her tests were multiple choice. She takes attendance at the very beginning of class and that can help points wise in the long run. The homework is easy enough to do and it also helps when it comes to end of semester grades.

The class overall is an easy A but she is VERY, VERY, VERY, boring. She can put an entire class to sleep and the fans in the room are literally louder than her voice.

She is a nice woman who speaks softly and squeezes like 5 sections into a 1hour class. Her class is not an easy A, but not impossible I guess. You shouldn't be late or skip a class because one day can make you feel like you haven't been in class for a month. 3-25 question Multiplechoice exams and final is 50 M-C. Work hard and get what you deserve.

Very fair grader, 3 tests, 1 gets dropped, 1 final and H.W each worth 25%. Lays out everything on the exams prior to the exam. Good professor, she really tries to help, material is still pretty tough though.

She is absolutely amazing, she is great at teaching- super genius. She never makes mistakes or confuses in class. She does come off a little intimidating- but that takes some getting used to. She really values your efforts. Do your webassign- even if it means googling the answers, and then go to tutoring. You'll get a B at least.

This class is not hard if you at least study sometimes. She is professional at teaching who made me learn so much. Notes that she give are really helpful for the tests. Really good professor and helped to clear up confusion from me. I struggled with calculus in high school because my instructor was subpar, but she is amazing and makes everything really clear. Outlines for tests are straightforward so there are no surprises. Would reccommend her if you struggle in complex math like me.

AMAZING. You can not go wrong with her especially if you don't understand math very well she breaks everything down. But if you miss a class you will be lost. Her exams are the literal representation of her lessons. All you need to do is pay attention and do her homework which is online and perfect for studying for her final.

She is probably the best math teacher that I have ever had. If you don't understand something she goes out of her way to may it easy to understand. And unlike most math professors that I have had, she explains thing from the base level and builds up instead of starting with the most difficult concepts.

Not because her grading policy is good and she gives a good grade but she makes the student learn things and memorize it. she would make you work for your grade but you will leave her class knowing a lot. 3 exams (lowest dropped) a final & web assign HW in every chapter.

She will make you work for your grade, but she will make sure that you learned the materials. She has clear grading criteria. There are 3 tests and drops 1 with lowest score, one final and home works on web assign. Participation is not mandatory. Her lectures are heavy but she picks easiest questions for tests.

I really love this Professor. Her lectures are clear, engaging and you can tell that she's very passionate about math. I will definitely do a minor in Math if she was the teaching the classes.

Very strict on attendance, no textbook, she is an amazing professor but you will be LOST if you miss a lesson or two. You have to buy an online code for the homework she makes sure the whole class understands each topic and she doesn't give makeup test or extended hw so beware of deadlines on webassign. Prof Trembinska is very passionate and does her best to make sure her students understand the material taught. Lectures are clear but if you are ever confused; she is more than happy to answer your questions and does her best to make sure you get it. DO THE HW. She is a good professor if you are willing to work. She gives us 3 exams and one is dropped, daily hw, and final. If you want to slack just dont take her tbh. She explains topics really well and gives a review every day about the work we did the previous class. I struggle with math but ended up with an A bc she is very good and understanding.

I had her async, she just posted lectures and the work was only homework and exams. The lectures are very helpful. The homework/textbook is through cengage which you have to pay for (there is no alternative/accommodations). Pretty easy, very hw heavy.

She is very clear. She seems to get annoyed when people ask her about anything that is already on the syllabus. BUT make sure you study for the exams, even if you are relatively good with math like me. Some of the questions are not cookie cutter, and can be more challenging than the examples she presents in class.

She is a great professor and is always willing to help you if you are stuck on a topic during her office hours. There are 3 exams (25% of your grade) + the final (25% of your grade), and the homework (25% of your grade). She drops your lowest test, if you are a horrible test taker this course might be difficult for you. DO THE HOMEWORK!!

She usually gives an outline of what will be on all her exams. Therefore you know exactly what to expect on each one. Its up to you to take advantage of this and study. She's a bit strict and may seem stern at times, but she's not out to get anyone. You HAVE to put some time and effort. Make sure you show up to EVERY class.

I took her Calc 2 class back in Spring 2018. She is an AMAZING professor and explains everything crystal clear. The class itself is not an easy A if you don't put some effort into studying. She gives 3 exams (best 2 out of 3) and a final. Exams vary between 10-13 questions. Homework is from WebAssign, so make sure you do every problem. GL =)

Professor Trembinska was actually gods gift to calc 1. I'm not good at math but she explains things so well, is very helpful and over just very nice. If you have to choose between her or another professor, choose her for calc 1 she was great. You have to study and try bc calc is not an easy subject but if you reach out she will help.

BEST CALC PROF!! I took her for both calc I and calc II. I got A's in both classes because shes such an amazing teacher. Her class wasnt an easy A but she prepares you very well for all of her exams. Her lectures are very important so make sure not to miss them.
