Super easy class. Easy A. Four exams and he drops the lowest score. No HW and all tests are vocab terms. Plus you watch a ton of movies. Recommend for an easy grade.

Funny, smart, weird... in a good way. " The treasure lies in the variabilty of the human experience". From looting to journalism a fun but challenging class. Do the reading and take lots of notes and you will be okay.

One of my favorite classes, it was challenging but I learned alot. Anton knows something about everything and is really funny. He keeps you the whole time, but his class was entertaining. Had to make flashcards for the tests and the paper was rough! Anton made me want to be an anthropologist!

You will get a good grade if you do all his reading. You have to do a research paper called an ethnography and he throws away your lowest grade. That was great for me because I had to take maternity leave so It made me less streesed about school. I am taking his cultural anthropology class now will let you kniow how it went. He is a fun guy!

This is a hard class lots of reading and a tough research project. Worth it though. He is fair and three hour lecture goes fast as we are part of the discussion and we do in class exercises and games which are fun. I do not like getting up in front of class but got used to. This class has helped me with my sociology major. Good Class.

This class goes by fast. Still waitng for my letter of recomendation but aside from that Anton is the best teacher at Los Medanos. He applied anthropology to my nursing career. I am thinking about going into medical anthropology. Hard reading hard project but very funny lectures. A+++ Oh he gets off topic but it all relates, most of the time.

To be honest topics where way over my head but the class is really really fun. Teacher is really ethuisiastic and funny. Tests and presentations are hard but most of the time class is entertaining. I have no interest in world conflict but it was fun taking care of this class. Nice guy.

Fast paced. Interesting and contreversial topics. 5 exams one paper and one project and your done. Wonderful instructor.

First I have to say that I am a student at anohter school Anton lectures at. I love this guuy. He is the best rteacher I have ever had . I we want to become an anthropologist. He warned me that I will not be malking any money but his love of the discapline has inspired me to follow a less well travelled path. Thanks Prof. Revenaugh!

Revenaugh is hilarious! He made the boring aspects of the class so much fun. References to Family Guy in relation to topics and all that. I did miss a few classes, (maybe 4-5) and still had 100% because I kept up on my studies while gone. You will need the book to reference and I never read it, just skimmed, and highlighted and used notecards.

He knows the History about Anthropology. ?Family Guy? funny. Makes this class fun and interesting on Anthropology subjects. Several papers for this class are about history. Make good research papers, and you will pass.

Anton is a very complicated instructor. He teaches like this was a graduate seminar. The interview project was hard. I thought it would be a no brainer but I was wrong. Pay attention and take notes even if it seems irrelevent it all ties in. Good class. Hard Class.

Laughed the whole class. Topics were sad but presented with humor. Global conflict because of capitalism, a little depressing. three essays quick final points based grade. I did not use text and got by. Good guy.

I am an anthro major and Anton's approach is unorthodox... but I learned more in his classes than in any other anthro sections. Put your critical thinking cap on and you will do well. Be prepared to use what you learn in your life. Entertaining lectures challenging exams and fun projects. Worth every penny. Thanks Anton you made ethnographers of us

This teacher is hard... Very hard...

I have this teacher for two classes and I have figured him out. He loves anthropology so if you are not into the subject you will still have fun. Memorize the glossary and you will do good.

And take professor Anton's wild ride through what he calls "the diversity of the human experience and the myriad of cultural adaptations to diff. environments." this class is a hybrid stand up comedy routine to exploring the terrifying dynamics of human flexibility. Lots of writing in this class which this teacher insists on.

This professor is very personable but do not be fooled by his conversational lecture style. Take lots of notes, you will need them. This is a VERY HARD CLASS,,,,

This class is a joke, super easy. You don't really learn much. He mostly talks about himself all class and gives 1 page homework assignments that are simple and easy. He splits you up into groups and you make your own test with terms from the book and give them to another group. Then you take the test as a group. EASY A

OMG WE JUSY HIT WITH A KILLER FINAL. THE GUYS THAT DID TAKE NOTES ARE DOOMED. SEEMS EASY BUT YOU GET HIT IN TH END HE CALLED AN ONGOING DISCUSSION ABOUT ANTHROPOLOGY. HE WSRNED US TO READ THE WHOLE TEXT BUT I THOUGHT HE WAS JOKING.

This was rough with a huge cumulative final. Enjoyable lectures learned a lot but not sure how I did on the exam. Last class before I teansfer so I am worried this might have killed my GPA!

This teacher throw you into the deep end of the pool. Learn to swim fast or sink. Half the class dropped. Interesting topics but I am glad it is over. You learn and you will be exposed to new ideas. I do not regret it. Take lots of notes and buy the book ahead of time to start reading the whole thing. Allow two hours per week of research.

Class was fun and easy. Revenaugh is a funny dude and keeps you interested throughout lectures. Homework is super easy, just a one page paper about a topic each time, just make sure to do it. A lot of group work. Final is worth like half your grade but is manageable. Don't really need the book, but its useful. Didn't have it and still got an A.

Pretty easy class. We rarely used the book, if you wanna buy the book go for it but most of the time we go off of his notes. Buy the book just in case though. Its really an open discussion type of class then a read the chapter and listen to his lecture class.

Anthropology subject was very interesting and entertaining. I took this class over the summer semester. Mr. Revenaugh is an excellent teacher, one of the best. He could teach anthropology to an ape. He is rich in wisdom, humor, and subtle charm, deep thinker, insightful, wise and compassionate. I highly recommend this teacher.

Professor Revenaugh is knowledgeable, entertaining, helpful, and etc. I highly recommend him! He is easy to understand and that what's make the class stress-free. He does give extra credit and drop 1 exam too. I took him over the Summer and that was fast and great! I got an A+. Thank you A.R.!

Anton is a great instructor. This is a hands on research class. We are in the middle of our ethnographic projects. It is the one nite class I look forward to every week. We work in teams and are graded as groups and on our exams. The exam was no to hard. Take his advise and make flashcards and you will be fine.

This class went by fast. I wrote a lot in response to lectures and films. Lots of contraversial and engaging material. Who knew anthropology could be so exciting? I am taking another one of his classes next semester.

Half of the class is lectures while the other half was a video. Had 3 vocabulary tests throughout the semester and that was it...

Hard class. Graduate level lecture. Helps if you are an anthropology major. I had to take detailed notes every lecture. Research project takes a few weeks. Team work was great but some teams were stuck with people who did not show up. Tests have extensive glossary terms.

Absolutely love Prof. Revenaugh! Lectures were insightful, wrote about a paper a week up until the last month and half of class, had a group project and the final was a breeze. He's also super funny, has a tendency to ramble but is constantly aware of what's going on in class as despite what you think! Take him, he's great!

Evolution is change and I changed my major to anthropology because of this class. Great class but we had to do a lot of research and writing with a presentation.

All I had to do was all the assignments and take lecture notes and I got an A. He is a fun lecturer and helped me transfer. Good teacher.

I took Anthropology 1, Professor Revenaugh teaches in a fun matter which makes you understand the topics. Must attend class to turn in H.W. My experince with this class for being a non Anthro major made me minor on cultural Anthropology. I got an A. just be a great student and learn from this fun professor.

This was the easiest class of my life, easier than any middle school or highschool class

This guy is the funniest, and most rad professor I've ever had. He was really caring, we watched documentaries, we only had one test, and the final was a group project which was fun and not stressful at all. He gives out very few homework assignments, but when he does they're super easy. He does count a lot of your grade on attendance.

Professor Revenaugh was an outstanding professor. It being my first semester at Los Medanos, He expressed empathy towards every student & was very understanding about our daily lives & responsibilities. His lectures are heavy but as long as you bring a snack you will be fine! He does makes the class interesting too so I would highly recommend!

I would say hes the best professor at LMC, hands down! His lectures are easy to understand and the assignments are totally reasonable. On top of that, hes a very interesting and funny person. He makes the class very enjoyable. I genuinely enjoyed this class.

He gives his lecture then you turn in notes and the quizzes are just answering questions. notes and quizzes every week. I copy and pasted the power point for my notes, and then answered the questions based off that. I got 100% in the class.

He's really easy going and very approachable. He cares about his students and enjoys having conversations with them. He's very accommodating and understands his students. Definitely take any class with him

Such a cool and chill teacher, just do as you are expected and you will easily get 100% on every assignment. Doesn't ask for much, but there are 5-page essays every 8 weeks.

Fairly easy class, just submit notes on lectures and you'll pass. Final group project at the end but it's just answering 1 question. Fun teacher but he sometimes goes on random tangents.
