Prof. Ciro is indeed a rather laid back man and pretty cool although the material he teaches is very hard to grasp at first. He's always willing to work with you if you are having trouble. Very funny man and he should've been on 'Last Comic Standing'!!

A great guy and a great teacher. His scattered jokes and comments kept me interested at 8AM every morning and he explained the material very well. Tests were straightforward and workload was bearable, even during a 5-week course.

His accent does take getting use to, but it's not so bad after a while. He does know his math and is funny at times. "Time to make the doughnuts" He does help when you need it.

This class is really easy. I didnt do any homework at all and still got an A. Just go to class and listen and take some notes and you are fine. To those who said "hard grader"? What are you talking about. The only grades are 4 exams, and you either got the questions right or wrong.

This guy is hilarious, he made going to class worth it, but take the class with some friends, because math is boring. He sucks at teaching things if you don't get it, but an A is possible. Get ready to study if you don't understand math easily, because he sucks at explaining things. But for a really funny prof who is the sweetest thing, get Ciro.

While he's difficult to understand and the workload seems like alot, he always is willing to answer any questions about the homework at the beginning of class. He tells funny little examples, too. I don't like math, but he's a good teacher who wants to help his students succeed.

All you have to do is print out the practice tests online (he gives you the URL) ahead of time and practice those. The only reason you need to go to class is for attendence which was annoying @ 905 on MWF.

Great professor. Didn't receive the email that he was doing the exam review early and got there when it was over. He stayed an extra hour to go over everything that they did in class. Not many would ever do that. Funny guy but cares about teaching if you want to learn.

Such a nice guy, and his lessons are easy enough to follow if you do your homework. Great sense of humor, class can get boring sometimes but it's a pretty easy class, especially if you had precalc or calc in high school.

Very easy if you're already good at math or took algebra/pre calc or stats already. If not, its still an OK class because the tests are straightforward and just like all the practice tests. DO YOUR HOMEWORK and use the math tutorial lab in Ewing Hall, it saved my grade. Also, don't let the first exam fool you...the next 3 aren't as easy.

easy class-i spent the entire time doing my homework while he was teaching. he does take attendance which stinks at 9 in the morning. easy A if you print out practice tests and stuff

LOVED him. really funny, always let us out early. test are super easy. attendance is mandatory, but its an easy way to bring up your grade. very helpful when needed. easiest class i've ever taken at ud. great teacher

He is a very very GOOD teacher. He WELCOMES questions and does not belittle. He is also very HUMOROUS. Once you pay attention, you should get the material. If not, he has NO PROBLEM repeating himself (even if he knew u were NOT paying attention in the first place). THE BEST MATH TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD! Patience. Dedication. Humor. Ability. :D

Professor Ciro is one of my favorite teachers ever! He is ridiculously funny and this class was SO easy. If you don't get an A in this class, you're a total moron. Just make sure you study the previously administered exams he provides you with and you'll do great. I would definitely recommend taking Ciro if you need to take Math 114.

Ciro was great! He is so hilarious and i enjoyed going to class to just listen to him. The class is fairly easy...hw isn't necessary but i still did it anyway and it helped. The material was highschool level stuff. Ciro is very easy to understand even though he has a great Italian accent. I recommend taking this class.

Ciro is the best. Personally his class was just a review for me. Basic algebra 1 stuff. He's the nicest man! Stupid me went to a test and somehow answered the Q's on my test but forgot to fill in the bubbles on the scantron so when I got my score back with a 0, he let me show him my test packet and give the answers I had for full credit.

This man made my day every time I went to class (when I actually went to class). He keeps attendance but it's not going to hurt you if you miss a class here and there. The work is easy and his accent along with his political jabs disguised as jokes are a riot. I don't think I attended one class that I didn't burst out laughing in. Love him.

My favorite teacher of this semester. He has an italian accent but after a few weeks you'll learn to understand him. Always cracks jokes and makes funny drawings. Great class if you have a background in stat and algebra already. Homework is optional and you can miss 5 or so classes without getting penalized.

As a History major, I had trouble doing well in this class. I could not manage an A to save my life. Do the homework and study study study. If you are gifted in Math you'll do fine. If you are a HIST major, you NEED to study.

Professor Ciro is sweet, funny and a decent math teacher. In a good mood, he let us ask 1/2 hr of questions before the tests, and would almost give us the answers if we had a question. In a bad mood (not feeling well) he wouldn't do any of that. He even gave us extra points because our class met at night. One of the best math professors I have had.

This class wasn't hard at all. If you're decent in math then you should have no problem understanding/doing well in this class. If you pay attention and go to class. He also takes similar questions from the exams for the final so save your test to study from!

love this class, its easy for me and even when i or other classmates, do have questions he does not hesitate to answer them. plus his jokes are funny

math 114 is very easy in general. ciro lets you leave class early every day and is a pretty funny guy. has an accent but he's not too hard to understand. easy A

He is a funny little Italian man who slightly resembles the six flags guy. He is a good teacher and the class isnt hard. He is sometimes hard to understand because his accent but he is willing to work with you until you understand things. He takes attendance on a semiregular basis so attend class because it counts towards your grade.

Antonio is the best ever! He's a cross between the old man from UP and the dad from my big fat greek wedding. He's always willing to help you with anything and he makes lots of jokes. Sit in the front of the class and you'll be one of his favorites. He's adorable and loves to tell life lessons. He's like the grandfather you've always wanted!

I absolutely loved this professor. He is really sweet and knowing Italian helped me to understand his accent. I took algebra and statistics in high school and learned the exact same things. This class was an easy A and he makes going to class enjoyable.

I hate math but Ciro made this class actually entertaining. He is hilarious and has an awesome sense of humor, there was never a dull day. Ciro did not "provide practice tests". However, he did provide the teachers manual for calculus providing step by step procedures. 3 tests during winter session. Lowest grade replaced with final grade if higher. I failed both tests miserably, but received a C+ because I aced the final.Funny guy. Always there to help (a little callus at first tho)

If you have passed 9th Grade math, there is no reason you should not get an A. Show up when you want (attendance not usually taken), do the few pre-exam activities, and take the 4 exams. Mr. Ciro is a genuine teacher, great guy.

Ciro is such a cute man, but not one of the best teachers. He is always willing to help, and goes out of his way to try and make things easy but does not explain things too well. Three exams, one cumulative final. The webassigns are a pain, but boost your grade. He's a nice man, but not the greatest professor.

very nice,tries to make jokes. accent and low voice, suggested to sit near front to hear better. definitely do web assigns- they help raise your grade! he gives last years test before each exam (3) & final, use that to study! if you put in effort, you'll get a good grade. often let class out early/ had days where it was not mandatory to come.

Took MATH221 over winter session with Professor Ciro. He is very clear and straightforward as to what u need to do to succeed in class. Go to every class, and do the homework!! He takes homework problems and puts them on the exam. 2 tests, and a final. 20 problems on 2 and 25 on the final. He replaces your lowest grade with final grade if higher.

Took calc over winter session, attendance not mandatory, do HW assigned, takes problems directly from HW and places on exams. exams only 20 questions each , final is 25 multiple choice and extremely easy. Just do Hw and ask questions in class, he is very helpful. recommend taking this class over winter.

Retook calc with him over winter. He's awesome and by far the easiest of any calc teacher. If you can't pass calc with him, you wont pass calc at UD.

Professor Ciro is the cutest little Italian man. He is so nice but extremely hard to understand. It gets better as the semester goes on but he needs to learn better English. He barely teaches the class so exams can be annoying. If you ask for help he is happy to help. He loves his students. Sometimes he takes attendance.

Took him for Math114 and after only having 80% on my webassigns, I ended up getting an A-. The tests are easy, and you generally only show up to class to get help with webassigns.
