Easist Calculus class that you will ever take. HIs tests come straight from class problems. Study and you will pass. SOmetimes he'll leave in the middle of a test. Nuff said.

Ok..he is not organized, and he can be a little confusing at times, but calculus is not that easy...now..if you want to get an A, take him; he is very easy, very approachable, and he knows a lot!!!! TAKE HIM, you will not regret it

He is an awesome professor. All of you guys who are taking easy math classes dont ever expect to make it to a higher level if ur not able to pass the easy ones with him. He helps you a lot on the tests, his grading policy is way better than just fair (ull get a B where another professor would give you a C or a D). So stop complaining, It gets worse

He's very helpful IF you ask for his help and show your interest in passing the class. He also give extra credit. His practice tests are very similar if not the same as his test.

THE BEST. If you need a GPA boost; TAKE HIM. He will give you an A just for saying hi to him in class. Teaches almost all math levels up to MAC2313 and MAP2302. He's the best. SUPER SUPER HELPFUL.

he will explain everything as many times as you need, the exams are really easy, but you have to know the content. i recomend him 100 percent, because you learn and still the class is fun, He is the best!!!

The class is not as hard as I thought it would be. This teacher is great. He teaches well and has a great personality. He makes the class interesting. I recommend him. Make sure you study and go to Math lab and you'll get an A.

I love this professo, he is the best teacher I had in mat. his test are easy they are from the board evrything he says is on the test. He is fear with students even with the dificull ones. I hope he teaches statistic but no. I took a mini turn with him I got A".

Great person, he needs to take care of his personal appearance, and how he refers to students of pre-health science. Sometimes, he is making sarcastic jokes about medical doctors and pharmacists, and it is discourteous and no professional. However, he is a good teacher, and you can learn if you are interested.

If you really want to get a good grade & learn you guys should take Professor Ramos. He is the best teacher in MDC(Interamerican Campus), and also he teaches every single Math Class.

He is brilliant, an Einstein, there is no single subject in which he would say"I dont know", he loves teaching and learning from others. Prof. Ramos Is great! If you should take any math class I encourage you to take any of his classes. I took MAC1105 with him last spring and I t was great! Very helpfull easy tests and willing to explain you anything, also available at the math lab.

This teacher is very helpful. He will stay after class and help you. He gives you credit on the test ever if you got the answer wrong as long as you try to work it out. He will explain the work a million times if he has too.

This professor is pretty cool, his test are not hard its similar to the notes he gives in class. He also gives an extra credit quiz to improve your grade.You do have to study because the subject is not easy....

ramos is the best mathematician ever! i have taken precal once and had gotten a 'D' with a different professor...but with ramos i got an 'A'..i'm taking all calculus classes with him...take him if you want your GPA in good standing. just do the homework (which is not alot) and you should do fine!!!

An amazing professor. He genuinely wants you to do well in the class. If you visit the math lab and really put in the effort this class is a piece of cake. He covers everything on the tests. Very easy to get and A.

If you come to class and take notes you should be fine. Exams are exactly like notes, just briefly review the book and notes and you'll get an A.

He is very helpful.The test are a bit hard compare to the homework and the material.However, he gives quizzes for extra credits.Make sure that you study and do the homework and you will pass.

Great professor! Knows his stuff...tends to joke around in a sarcastic way. Just attend the classes and pay attention. I didn't even have to take the Final because I aced 3/4 tests.

Listen those who dont like Ramos, dont expect a perfect professor, remember he is a human being means not perfect...so i my personal opinion I thanks Prof Ramos for being fisrt a great person, he teaches what we really need to know, his tests are exactly as he explain in the review, if you study and follow his steps easy A not doubt about it.

You need to study but if you are really interested you will pass the class, he gives reviews before each test and his test are easy like the reviews if you study you will have no problem, but don't expect to get an A without doing anything. Easiest class yet I remember everyone got an a exept two people with b but you are guaranteed a r b. Attendance not mandatory. Final is oral. He is in math lab most times. He might be somewhat unorganized but is easiest class.

The Best Math Professor of MDC

This professor is very easy, he knows the material very good, moreover, you can find him in the math lab in case you need help in math. only three quizes and he drops the lowest grade, the final is oral, but don't be scared, it is pretty easy. take him and you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend him.

SO If you want an easy professor who doesnt let students FAIL take this man!! I suck at math and I passed all his courses with As. Easy n Teaches well!!

Hands down best professor in MDC I took him for ALL maths including all 3 calculus levels and differential equations. Great guy very helpful. If you wanna pass and are having trouble with math this is the teacher for you. Seriously the bad ratings that he gets are from students of low-level math's that prob can't even understand basic algebra -___-

i had this professor for precal and mac 2311, he is awesome and comes to the class only with the book and a marker, he does everithing by memory. its realy easy to underestand him and he look for other ways to explain the contest if u ask him

This guy is amazing; for those of you who don't care to learn but just want to pass, take this guy. He can't get any easier than what he is. He writes his test on the board & gives you 10 extra credit points on every test if you go to the lab & take a practice one. He's really good!!!

This professor is funny, lenient and helpful. I had him for 8 weeks semester. He does not mind to go back and recite what he just said. He will teach based on his own experience, and of course, guidelines. Sometimes assumes we know certain material, but just stop him and ask. Overall, he's the bomb!

Didn't really learn anything in this class. He expects you to know everything and when he finishes the problem on the board everyone is like where did he get that from. You have to let him know that your lost. BUT he is super nice and loves his students. we missed like a month of class cuz he gets sick bt otherwise you can find him in the mathlab.

Grade = 4 tests -1, + 3 quizzes. The content of the 3 tests is very similar to the 3pre-tests you take on your own, which is what he had on the board in class! The lowest of the 3 test scores are dropped. The final is the fourth test, last day of class is oral and cannot be dropped, unless you got 100% on the 3 previous tests like me.

Great teacher!! I took him for MAC 1105, Pre-Cal & Trig, and i plan on taking him for Cal aswell. he is an awesome professor, helps if needed. Test are easy, if u study the review and the quiz u will pass the test!! i passed all his classes with A's. best math professor ever!

He makes this complex subject as elementary as possible, test are designed to see if you know the basic mechanics. 3 tests lowest 1 dropped then an oral final of 4 questions relating to properties concepts or formulas taught that term. This format is used in all his classes this being my third.

Ramos is a great professor.. If you are not good at math you will need to study harder but if you have a decent foundation in math his class should not be hard.

He is a great proffessor. If you are not good at math , then you have to study by yourself or if you have any doubt he is always there to help you. The exams are really easy ( again you have to study) but he makes them really easy and he always wants to help you. You can get an easy A with him.I am taking him right now for calculus 1.

He knows what he is teaching. I would not recommand him if you are not good at math, because he does not give us the time to solve the problems. he just explains on the board and that is it. so I had to study by my own. But still, he is a nice man no regreting :)

Prof. Ramos has definitely made it to the top of the list of professors I've had in my 2yrs at MDC. Come on time, take notes, put in the work, and you will pass. He's always there to help you, he's doesn't hesitate to answer questions, and he's usually in the mathlab before class if you have questions. Three exams (lowest dropped), and a final.

Made a tough subject such as Calc II very understandable. Just come to class, ask questions, and you should be fine. Ramos is a very nice, and laid back guy, kinda funny too.

Professor Ramos is by far the best math professor I've had in both MDC and FIU. I took him for calculus 2 and I passed it with A. Do not miss class, some of the problems that he works out in class are actually your test questions. Pick up on his queues to know what questions he might ask on the test. He doesn't give much homework but redo problems

This guy is a mathematical genius, he has a doctorate in math. He's very humble and kind. Theres only 4 exams which he reviews for the day before( very similar) I've been touched personally by this guy. I am terrible at math but he made everything simple to understand. no book. attendance isn't mandatory but you shouldn't miss. would take again

One of the best professor I ever had, excellent person too. Always care for his students, and he is very fair grading. I think he'll retire soon but if he's still around don't hesitate. Thanks for everything professor
