her work is competitive to other instructors. she wants her students to learn. if you are lazy don't enroll in her class.

She is a good instructor.Teaches at a university level, not just community college level. You have to earn your grade, but you learn alot.

This teacher has a lot of energy and she is really funny, is an interesting class, and as long as you do your work, you pass the class.

Ms. Baggett taught from the heart and that made the class very interesting. However, I didn't like working in groups and the fact that she had favorites and graded them with a curve. She can come off to be a bit **** but in all fairness, she really enjoys HER history.

Online she is fair, she co teaches with Patterson. She has a bunch of classes she teaches and can be hard to contact. But if you do the work then you will pass the class.

Man Prof. Baggett was one of the best history techers I've ever had!!!! Yes, we wrote 12 papers ,but they were on a two page max.! Took Prof. Baggett online in Summer session. It is imperative that you read, and stay caught up with the reading. She always responded to questions in a timely matter. Final exam was a little tough, but we got two chances to take it.

Good Pro. She is down to earth and helpful, if you are willing to help yourself. There is only two assigments and one project for the whole semester. Her test are tough but, that is it.

Very easy class and very nice teacher. I took this class because someone recommended it to me and I didn't regret it. She tends to very disorganized which lets get away with late papers but does expect summaries that add up to 12 pages.

I took this class online and it was pretty easy except you MUST stay on task or you will fall behind. I must say the mid-term was easy for me but I suggest you make an outline to all the questions, and the final is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT! It had almost nothing to do with ANYTHING that was covered over the course, the class average was a 43% on final.

This is a very easy A. I was in the same summer class as the person prior to me, and she did tell us that after the first assignment. There are NO exams at all, just a 4-6 paragrpah essay for every chapter. The final is 2 more essays, but with sources. She gives the essay questions 5 days before the test, so just copy in your essay.

Great professor! I took her online for 1301 and 1302, and had no problems. I did struggle with the midterm essay test, and even though got a C, she made it an A at the end of the semester. She admits her faults and if she is wrong. Generally very easy to get along with.

Got an A, you have to write a 3 paragraph essay per chapter and there are 2 chapters a week. she grades hardest on the test and the in class presentation. if you are smart, do the presentation by yourself, dont rely on others, others will cause you to fail. but overall, she is really nice and she is sexy as hella, nice body on her

I am in the same class as the last two students. She is a very understanding instructor and gives you time after your assignment is late to submit it. Those students are just lazy. She keeps it real and do not tolerate disrespect. I have have taken her for 3 classes and have enjoyed her classes every step of the way.

Took her online course and was satisfied. Definitely a class to take if you can be completely self-directed. LOTS of writing, no exams. There are no lecture notes to supplement the textbook. Always responded very quickly and professionally to any questions that I had and was clear about all the assignments.

I took this class on-line in Summer II 2010. She is a good teacher, there is alot of reading. I completed 6 papers in Summer Session; I can't imagine how many in regular term. I made an A in her calss. She is very understanding. I liked her as teacher and would take her again for another History class.

Professor Baggett is a good teacher. She assigns a lot of papers so be prepared to write. However, you will learn a great deal of information based upon the assignments and even improve your writing skills. She does take a while to grade assignments. Professor Baggett is great about answer email and providing clarification.

Where do I begin? This is one person you will meet who will turn you upside down. She got me interested into History. I also took her African American History class, not only did she taught well she opened my eyes to what I've been ignorant too. Professor Baggett's class was fairly simple. I took the 8 week course, 4 papers which included the final exam. To be honest I read chapter 1 and never touched the book again. What I did not like was that I felt my "A" papers were just as good of quality as my final but got lower grade.

It was a pleasure to take this online course! I learned more about my ancestors and specific events that have allowed me to be able to do things that many people take for granted. African American's have so much rich history , do yourself a favor and take this course.

Professor Baggett is an amazing professor . She is truly one of the best professors I have ever taken. Her African American History class will open your eyes , and give you knowledge on the subject. Alright guys, I took professor Baggett recently just finished with a 84. Be honest with her and she will treat you right , and try her hardest to work with you. Be transparent , and respectful and this will be your easiest class.

This professor is the best! She's so sweet, helpful, and caring. I have lung cancer and i'm currently taking her class by far the best history class I've taken. She was even nice enough to bring us pizza for a presentation. She's talks about everything and anything with the students. Always has a smile on her face and assignments are super easy!

I was so afraid to take HIST 1301 because I'm an international student. I heard that even domestic student cannot take A in History because it is really hard. However, her class was easier than I expected. I did not like the final. 60 minutes and 100 questions.

Mrs. Baggett were one of the most inspirational teachers I've ever had. We discussed real life situations and related everything back to the class subject. Her class was so interesting that I did not want to leave AT ALL. I enjoyed taking her class so much I will be taking her Hist 1302 next fall.

The hardest thing in her class is the final test with 100 questions in 60 minutes, so you don't even have one minute for each question. Do the syllabus carefully bc it's very important.

During all the chaos going on, she's responsive and kind. She gave us a very easy essay as an alternative to a trip. Every time I started to worry, she accommodated due to the circumstances. She responds to all my emails too! It is a lot of homework, but I know it's preparing me for later.

I took Professor Bagget for both Hist 1301 and Hist 1302. Both classes were easy As. Just complete all the assignments by the due date, submit one short essay which she grades very easily, and complete the final (90 mins 100 questions no lockdown browser). Its doable, dont be afraid. Theres no way to fail her courses. Take her, dont hesitate.

Fall 2020- Have to purchase an online software to get into the readings and assignments. I think it was like $70. Quizes at the end of each reading but you can skip and go straight to quiz then go back to find answers. 100 questions for final. most on quizlet but be fast! Easy A.

Easy to reach and responded quickly. Had 9 chapters all due the week before class ended where you read them and answer questions as you go. You can toggle back and forth between the chapter and the question to get all of the questions right. One paper due that had to be about 3 pages and a 50 question final with most answers being on Quizlet.

I took Professor Baggett in the fall for a mini session and was happy that I did. I could have gotten an easy A in the course, but I didn’t apply myself the way I should have. She details her expectations for the course and you should definitely be prepared to read. Lots of work, but it was easy if you apply yourself.

The class was really easy and straighforward. You have around 26 quizzes based on the textbook. This is what the majority of the grade is based on. At the end of the class there is an essay based on the book White like her. The class is so easy and Dr. Baggett is always there when you need her. . If you want an easy A, take this class.

Extremely Compassionate. When I needed help she definitely showed up for me. You have to make sure you participate. She has a lot of students I wanted to make myself known to her. PARTICIPATE and communicate. She is understanding and does not babysit or sugar coat. Remember this is college not high school. We are adults.
