Worst ever

Very hard marker.Folow whatever she teaches in the class and it wil be in the test. She marks good if she likes the student or if student is litle bet hardworker. If you have laternative profesor ..don't take this professor.

She is not good at teaching. Her marking is funny

If you get an A in her class, I bet you'll be able to get only maximum of B in all the other classes. You have to spend most of your time only for her course.

Not that good of a teacher... you're better off learning by yourself. It seems like she teaches during class, taking up homework etc, but by the end of the day you will have learned nothing from her.

I had her last semester... all she does is print out the solutions and write it on the board, "explaining" them so incomprehensibly. If you want to learn by yourself, feel free to do so cause she won't help you.

Very unhelpful, she won't answer your questions and trail off the topic at hand then she says "which we WILL cover in chapter X," meaning she references things that has not been introduced or covered and repeats that fact. Her notes are on a piece of paper that people can't read and the notes themselves are horrible. You HAVE to learn by yourself!

Drop her class if you can, you will never pass. she is a horrible teacher in Senecac. you will learn nothing and wast you time in her class and finally you will fail the subject.

She makes up her mind about the student right at the beginning. Dont want to be in her bad books !

Her exams are all difficult. Her goal is to make everyone fail the class. Even though you spend 5hrs/week to read the textbook+do exercises, you cannot pass this course as her exam questions are harder than CGA.

Doesnt cover/explain any material covered in the book.Doesnt answ any questions-cuts ppl off and is a pro at dodging all the questions.Talks what this course is gonna cover but doesnt fulfil anything as a teacher.Spent entire class "covering" 2hwk questions but we never got a specific answer.Talks general useless fluff.

As if the course isn't challenging enough, this professor doesn't provide enough aid for students. She's a fair marker, but not the best. The textbook is very unclear and provides few examples most of which you have to learn on your own. Lastly, she's very biased towards certain students. You may notice this as you take her class. Worst professor I've ever had the chance of meeting

If i was given 2 options. 1) Take Anu's class and 2) Jump off the bridge.. I would go for the second one. PLz DONT TAKE HER CLASSSES AT ALL.. HARD MARKER, not at all helpful, doesnt discuss material well. DONT GO FOR IT.. WARNINNGGG !!

WE finised two chapters in one class on Monday and our final exam is on next monday....0 practice..0 feedback....

Anu is a very good teacher because she makes you to take this course twice and this helps you to learn better. If you do not want to take the course many times, then run away when you saw her name.

Went to class on Monday did 2 chapters week before the exam! went to the last class, didn't say anything about the final exam. Students asked what will be covered she stated the final exam was made 1 month a go! -_-!!

She refused to answer many students questions. Hardly taught us anything. Easily one of the worst professors I had at seneca. I got a B in her class and was happy to get through. Really hope I don't end up in another one of her classes.

She is really not good at teaching. She doesn't explain anything but she expects you to know everything yourself. Really hard marker!!! I studied before her test for 10 hours and still got a C as the rest of the class.

she is utterly useless. she may have the knowledge but she does not have the tools to transfer them. she also cancels class any chance possible. avoid her if like to have peace of mind

It is the character and values of the teacher that determines the teacher's worth. Anu character is absolutely fake on the surface she seem like she portray's herself as nice but if you pay close attention you can see how much she dislikes students and how arrogant she is. She tries to put a mask of helpfullness but underneath she is very lazy.

She teach nothing. The content she explained in class are all within ACC220. You will learn nothing from her course. You have to learn yourself. If you ask her questions related with intermediate accounting, you will know she is lack of knowledge, and never answer questions. I guess she doesn't know at all.

Seriously, I feel like the only positive comments were made by the professor. I talked with many of my classmates after the exam. I couldn't find one, that had something positive to say.

She is a horrible professor, try to avoid whatever course that you have to take with her. Most of you will fail no matter how much you study. She also does question before she teaches the theory.

Where do I start? Lemme just say, you have to be her bff or most loyal fan if you are making positive reviews. You can study all you want. But when I look at the test, it's nothing like I studied. I studied hard and this is what I get in return. That's the power of Anu Goel... We all want her gone. God I pray, and I still wait for and answer.

She does not know how to teach students in Business case. She always let us know that students have high level knowledge of accounting like her and she will guide us to write the cases. She always gives surprise question in exam which she never discuss in class.

Answers generally and quickly ends the conversations. Her lectures are all over the place. Does not know/want to teach students. She is absolutely fake. She dislikes students. She may have the knowledge but she does not have the tools to transfer them. Does not like being asked redundant questions.

Anu Goel is a tough teacher. Her lecture is fast and you have to keep up with her. The tests are extremely hard and so many multiple questions. Each multiple question is worth 1 mark but it takes a lot of efforts to solve it, in the end you don t have time for other questions. Dodge her if you can.

She doesn't really know how to teach. There's no point in going to class since she goes over end of chapter questions without even teaching the theory. Her mcq is long and requires more time than needed. She thinks her class is doing good when the avg is 50% for some reason and when you ask her for help she will refer you to tutorial sessions.

She says we (the class) are ALL on the right track are on our way to improvement! False hope. Every class is ad hoc and her writing on the board is incoherent and illegible. She doesn't make class enjoyable at all. When you think you did well, the grade on your paper is a miserable mark. Compared to other challenging profs, she is unreasonable!

Horrible professor ever. You cant even call her professor, she is an elementary teacher. Doesnt care about her students. Doesnt teach. Do not take her. You will regret all your life. Hateness overload. She doesnt like people

Seems as though all the negative comments are removed by her or the site from complaints. She is horrible. she provides no support and cant explain content properly. Her feedback is chicken scratch and hard to understand. If you want to roll the dice, she's for you.

The ACY program is totally disorganized, badly structured and there is poor guidance and outline on what we are doing. Grades are received late and when you ask for help, you are referred back to your own notes which is like saying figure it out yourself. Her teaching style is not what you'd consider teaching. She is aggressive and rude.

This teacher is absolutely horrible. She cant teach the CPA case writing material properly, rather she does a better job telling you what you are doing is wrong and she has no problem lecturing you about it. She put a lot of the onus to students to figure things out on their own. Even the program chair came in to watch a class session to see her.

She teaches different than textbook and her exam is based on in class practices. Those practices are not enough for exam, and doing homework is not useful, so the majority of student get C grade.

You know she is the worst teacher at Seneca when she calls herself a prof and creates her own fraudulent ratings. DO not take her, save yourselves before its too late

She has enthusiasm but she may not express what the course need. her marking standard and changing criteria may confusing student. extreme hard marker.

She just keeps assuming that the students already know what she is teaching, instead of explaining it properly

The professor made up some positive qualifications in order to make students take her. As she also teaches CPA students she compares all the time.

Dont take her, you will regret it shortly right after. My stream had no other professor choices for ACC415 and we are stuck with her and it has been really bad. Doesnt explain anything properly and moves fast

She knows nothing about how to teach. She is very rude to students and doesn't let anyone talk. She blurts out her opinion and she doesn't consider any other option. She is loud and obnoxious. I voluntarily avoided her class because she made me feel like hot garbage at the end of every class. She is the reason I have depression this semester.

Talks about a lot of stuff that you'll wonder where'd she got those. Solution manuals not helpful, she'll make you answer problems the way she wants it to be answered. Always thinks that students understand the lesson well but really, the students are like "ahh, what did she just said?" If you have no choice but her, just dont expect the best

i will never ever take any class that has her as a professor, She is rude and unwilling to be flexible during these hard times to accommodate her student and she talks and moves through materials extremely fast, she makes numerous spelling mistakes and always makes simple stuff extremely complicated and that confuses the students.

She always calls out on people anonymously and will ask you to answer questions. It makes most students feel very uncomfortable. She expects you to know a lot of information on your own and will only give you a good grade if she receives the answer she wants.

She is extremely rude, not just as a professor but as a person. You will feel really pressured by her during the lecture and all these reviews are here for a reason as someone mentioned. That one single positive review was likely not written by her students.

Avoid this prof if you can. She doesn't teach and expects the student to learn the weekly concepts in group, and then regularly interrupts them and giving "learning opportunities". Also her lecture notes and grading rubrics are written in Egyptian Hieroglyphics; you wont understand them. Hope you took archaeology classes to decipher her notes.

horrible marker, horrible teacher, makes you teach the class instead of herself when its her job . does not want to see students succeed. power tripper, not approachable, not helpful, makes you feel stupid, doesnt clarify instructions, voice is irritating, condescending and just flat out ignorant with regards to providing value to students.

When the class average of a fourth year accounting and finance degree program is under 60%, its probably not because of the students.

Wednesdays are my least favourite day of the week because of this human being.

Anu is the end-boss of the BACF program. 10/10 would not recommend. Avoid her class at all costs. Dont make the same mistake everyone before you had made. Choose your destiny and take the night class if its available!

Worst prof ever. Doesn't teach properly and expects you to know everything. She is rude if you ask questions and doesn't clearly help you to succeed, she wants to fail people. She won't give you answers for anything, you'd have to teach yourself the whole course. Don't bother to take the course with her.

The worst professor ever!!! She does not teach the class properly and makes the students teach the class. She will constantly interrupt you when you are presenting and put you in a tough spot to answer difficult questions. Also, she is an EXTREMELY HARD MARKER. She is literally failed half of the class in the mid-terms.

DO NOT TAKE HER. AVOID HER AT ALL COST. Take the night class it is much better than this. She is a very tough grader. She hardly gives anyone above 60% unless you are extraordinarily amazing at her course. She is very inconsiderate and she will put you in groups that SHE CHOOSES before the 1st class even starts.

I would never take her again. Have to study everything on my own because I understand nothing she explains.

She is not helpful in any capacity because she barely teaches throughout the semester, she wants you to teach yourself and others. It's guaranteed you're going to get something wrong and she will belittle you for it. She will deflect the difficulty of the course be saying its a learning point despite the fact that we are trying to graduate.

If you're a lucky student and have a choice not to take a course with her then avoid her at all cost. She taught at a very high level; flew through her lectures; did questions in class but didn't take answers up together; tests were extremely difficult. This is the first time in my life that I had a course where I was lost from beginning to end.

Worst professor I have ever had. Did 16 courses so far, got an A in 15 of them. But got a C+ in this. She isn't just boring, she is plainly just bad. She doesn't care about the students. Not flexible in any way. More than 90% of the class failed in the final term. Only reason we had to take her class was because she was the only option. STAY AWAY!

Absolutely never take this prof if possible. If you are forced to have her as a prof be prepared to not get a grade above a C+. She failed most of the class for the midterms and passed most of the class with a D at the end of the term. She should not be allowed to be an educator, she has no clue how to teach or grade fairly.

Her materials are long, all over the places and not concentrated. She just flies through the slides. There is a lot of contents that she expects you to remember.The tests are overwhelming. Not to take her class please if you have other options.

She is the toughest marker and extremely strict. I would suggest to STAY AWAY from her but sometimes students are stuck due to lack of options. My mistake was to not read her reviews on Rate My Professor as they are extremely bad. Her only goal is to pass students with C or D as she fail students in exams the most amongst other professors.

Anu is overwhelmed most of the time and does not teach properly. She does not seem to be interested in her job

She is horrible, she complains that no one attends her classes or participates but when someone does participate she ends up arguing with them or rudely cutting them off. she is very hostile and not clear, her entire goal is to make you as miserable as possible. I had no choice but to take her class, STAY AWAY if you have a choice.

This teacher is the worst teacher i've ever had. Has no respect for students. Doesn't answer questions and tells you to go figure it out yourself and when she does she lectures you about not knowing the answer. Her lectures are terrible & tells you she is prepping you the CPA way. Doesn't give you answers of class materials so you are left in doubt

Unpleasant Experience, tough grader. She knows the timeframe but still chooses not to give it prior. She humiliates students and does not give proper feedback. She does not let students use their own input, she demands her way but does not give clear information. Even if her class is free of cost, I will not choose this professor.

Never take her as a professor. This is the first time in two years I received a D+, despite consistently earning no less than a B. She was indifferent to student concerns. During the final exam, there was an issue with WileyPLUS, which she acknowledged but did nothing to fix. Her lack of support ruined my experience.

Tough class with a strict professor. Lectures are dry, and she can be hostile if students participate. Unstuck AI helped with study prep, but overall, it's best to avoid this class if possible.

Pretty terrible experience all round with this professor. Incredibly strict and specific guidelines that are just unreasonable expectations for group and solo assignments; the average of the class after midterms was between a 55-60. All classes are in-person but she makes them online whenever she wants with very little notice. Seneca needs her out.

I wouldnt wish her for my worst enemy.
