She is a horrible teacher; does not explain well; does not help students; but she does curve

I'm really not sure why she's still teaching because she can't teach. She never returns exam, she takes criticism personally, she gave us exams on the first and 2nd week of school, she could go through three chapters in just an hour, she's clear as mud!!

She is the WORST teacher I have ever had. All she does is go over the powerpoint slides from the textbook...super fast.

I hated this class and I am a finance major. She doesn't care about her students and does not teach class. One of the worst instrutors ever, although her test were not that hard. If you like boring, horrible classes take Anu.

Weres the same magenta shirts everyday. Be prepared to be yelled at and treated like crap. Beware of true flase tests that she claims she doesn't give. Don't ask questions in class. Don't take this class. She is completely insane.

Take a class with her, then you'll know exactly what teaching should never be. If she doesn't have time to hastely whip through material, then it will certainly be your problem - count on it!!!

This class in general is difficult. But if you want to make it 1,000 times harder, take her. She goes through her slides faster then you can blink. So my question is "are you racing or teaching?"

All i can say about this teacher is WACK!!! Do not take this teacher for any course. Her exams are difficult, and she doesn't know how to lecture. She reads her slides, and thats about it. I highly recommend that you do not take her

A very bad teacher! Her lectures are the worst I have ever had, she does not explain anything at all. Her tests are semi-difficult, but considering there is a fair curve, it doesn't matter how hard the test is. Overall, nothing learned, easy B-.

don't take her class unless you are mad. Her test are diffucult. Lectures only showing slides. If you are not a white, don't ask her questions, she has discrimination toward Ascian and African people.

Trying to add this class next semester, don't do it even if there is space available, u will not learn anything in this class. Her lectures do not make sense at all. She does not even give enough time to go over the homeworks. Take Weigle, beside her.

Unapproachable, can't lecture, very critical of students and its not even constructive critism. DONT TAKE HER. Her lecture consist of reading off the publisher's slides, if I wanted to, I could do that myself!

Oh man, she is tough stuff. If you want a challenge of your intellect and more importantly, your SANITY, take her. She does allow people with an A going into the final to skip it. Make that your main goal. I had an A going into the final and escaped it.

I saw her name on here and I thought I would tell you all how much of an evil woman she really is. She is by far the worst teacher I have ever taken! She does not teach but expects you to teach yourself. She is unhelpful and unfair!DONT TAKE HER! trust me

The fact that this woman was allowed to get her teaching credentials is a testimate to the messed up school system. She is more worried about people cheating on her tests then if they understand the material. Boycott her class and get her fired!

So far the worst teacher at SJSU. Come to think of it, the worst teacher I've ever had in my 22 years living on Earth. It seems like she takes pleasure in our failures and doesn't want us to learn. I purposely failed her class and I've never been so relieved getting my first "F". Don't take her.

I have been in school for over 14 years, and I have not seen any rude and min prof as her. She expects you to all by your self.she is not consistant in correcting exams.she is dry.What she talk is Harverd.you have my word, you will not get more B- if your GPA is above 3.5 as I do. Not clear. Will skip the first two-three chapters of the book since she thinks they are not needed. (this is actually essential review material) Assumes you know everything but teaches nothing. If you don't have a finance backround and are not refreshed on your accounting classes, do not take her!

It is not even through the entire semester and I am dreading this class. She is so hard and expects you to be able to memorize eight chapters for fill ins on the midterms. She thinks just because she never had multiple choice tests that we shouldnt. Dont take her!!!!

She is a terrible teacher. I am a good student (Dean Scholar) so I know how to work hard and that learning takes effort but she is horrible. She has to scale her exams so much because no one knows the material. Even one of her colleagues said "God bless you" when I said I was taking 177 with her. DO NOT TAKE HER! Worst teacher at State!

Wears magenta everyday. Can become angered easily by any well-intentioned questions. Will inform the class they are mostly idiots as a motivational speech. Tends to overeact to anything involving a student speaking.

She is very smart and has good intentions but she can not teach. Powerpoint and book only. Tests are hard but they are streight out of text. I memorized the whole book. I studied more for this class than any other in 4 years and learned less than in any other class. I managed to get an A, so I am not complaining. Take Pantos if you can

She is one of the worst teachers I have had through my college life. She is smart but CANNOT teach. She is not helpful!!She gets defensive if you ask a question unless you are one of the really smart kids.Dont waste your time with her!Wait to take it another semester if you have to. Worst teacher I've ever had. Really fast paced and doesn't offer enough real life situations with her lesson. Too fast, no clarity in her lectures. Makes mistakes, always in a rush. no outside contact. Only good thing about her style is she gives a take home midterm after each midterm for an extra 25 points (in case you lose that much in your test)

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! She is the worst, most condescending teacher I've ever had. Never clearly explains what she expects from you and her exams are a disorganized mess. Word to the wise, believe everthing that is written about her. It is all true!

Rude and impatient!! The WORST teacher I ever had!!! She is lazy and never let students review the exams. Don't waste money to take class with her.

Vuorikoski obviously posted that last glowing review. What a liar. Here's the truth. Yes she curves the class and you can pass if you read the material on your own, but she is terribly rude and unoganized and will make your life hell any chance she can get. Just because you pass a test that is curved doesn't mean you learned anything.

She's a terribly mean person. She insults people and makes you feel bad. She never tells you what you do wrong so you keep making the same mistakes. Exams take 4 hours on excel along with 20 hrs. of prep work. She didn't ever teach anything. Doesn't offer any office hours! If you think you can avoid Campsey by taking her for 173A, don't do it

Still can't believe why she is still a professor. She seems to not care about students, but her son. She is mean and likes to put down students. Wish she got fired.

One worst professor on the campus. Lectured first couple weeks, then went on sitting at back watching the students doing their presentations the rest of the semester. Threw out vast knwoledge at times. 2mt n 1 final, mt paper never handed back n textbook never used at all. If i knew the porject had NEGATIVE pv, i wouldn't waste my $.

This class was as boring as can be and that was not a good thing because this class is difficult. Need to be an Excel expert for her take home mid-terms which are designed for you to fail miserably because she says you will not finish it. Practice your forecasting skills as that is emphasized heavily on the exam. Other than that pray for a HUGEcurv

Worst professor ever. Acts like everyone knows the material already and does absolutely no teaching - therefore going to class is useless since u can just turn in everything online. Her lectures are worthless, so i suggest u bring a laptop to surf the net if u do attend class

WORST professor I have ever had. She is incredibly disorganized, unclear, and sends very rude emails to her students. I would expect much more from an SJSU instructor. Her exam was incredibly impossible to complete in the time frame given.

A lot of work, tough grader, lectures are long, very unorganized, the test itself is confusing and throws you off.

It's shame she was chosen to teach such as an important class for Fin. majors. This is the class that supposedly prepares you to become a Financial Analyst, yet I took nothing out of it. Hardest professor, mainly because she expects way too much from students. If you take her class, expect to drop all priorities on Midterm week & Quiz days and funnel it towards her. Quizzes are cherry picked from lectures and are multiple choice BUT are confusing. Class AVG got below 40% on some Quizzes. First Exam Class AVG was 50%.

Her lectures are unorganized and difficult to follow. Grading depends more on works in teams. If your teams get stuck in somewhere, good luck. She is not responsive to students when she feels busy. Too much drama too in this class.

It is about her management than educating students. Students had to do a lot, but she did not give feedback at all to one team. One of her guys is very rude when keeping asking "are you sure?" in other team's presentation while he did not give a reason for his opinion plus he did many mistakes. Very disrespectful. Yet she allowed it to happen.

This class is a catch-22. Showing up to lecture is a waste of valuable study time, however you won't pass if you don't do the weekly group exercises at class-end. Her hw is to copy her excel sheets, however they are outdated and contain many errors (so you're really only learning about 25%. I respect her, but she's an acceptable job.

Not a bad person, but not a good professor. Bus177 material isn't difficult the only thing that is difficult is the format of the tests. Excel exams are heavily weighed on your overall grade and doing them is very difficult. Try to avoid taking this for your finance elective if you can because you don't learn a lot in this class.

RUN!! Don't take this class with her, she is a very nice person, but a horrible teacher. Very confusing, her class doesn't have a clear structure and she is not fair with her grading. If you can avoid her, do yourself a favor, if you don't, good luck

The curve is the only thing that saved me. One of the harder classes I have taken at SJSU. The material isn't rocket science but she zooms through lecture and you barely have a chance to understand what she is showing you. If you have the option to, I would avoid this class!

Bruh! There is no word can describe how awful and horrible Anu is as a professor. I know I am dumb but she made me dumber. Her lectures are really long and uninteresting. You will hardly learn anything from her lectures and get lost if you lose focus on her slides for couple seconds. Tests are super long and stupidly confusing. Dont even take her!
