Professor Desai is hands down, without a doubt the best professor I have ever experienced. From day 1 he made everyone feel so comfortable. He has a way of breaking people out of their shells. I had no interest in geography whatsoever before this class and now my opinion has changed a lot on many topics. He relates geography to everything.

This is by far the best course I've taken at CSI and it's all because of how incredible Anup is. I used to think I wanted to take a class with an easy professor who would just give me a B- no work necessary. But after having Anup as a professor my perspective changes. He was the best and deserves acknowledgement! Everyone should take him. Love him!

Has to be the best professor at CSI. Took this class as a freshman, only class I looked forward to in the week. So funny, chill teacher. He does check attendance by making sure you say here in the zoom call. Had him for online classes and he really made the zooms enjoyable. Honestly a really sweet guy. Best college professor I've ever had! He went BEYOND Geography. We would often talk about politics, the future of the world and society, and the past and how it affects us today. He created a safe environment for all to have a voice. No textbook but he does require for you to use a separate program and watched movies. It was basically a 2hr hangout

This is hands down one of the most interesting classes you can take, and it's all thanks to the Professor. I didn't expect to come out of this class with so much real world knowledge, but I have. Class was always engaging and there was never a dull moment.

Incredible Professor. I never once got bored nor lost interest. It was a very eye-opening class that is helpful and easy to understand. He is a very good talker which actually got me hooked. His class is what made College very comfortable for me as a freshman. I would take this again if I ever had the chance.

He is kind of a boring professor but very lenient and easy to pass his class. He lets student make up exams and homework way after they are due. If you want an easy A or B take him. You still have to to work but its not hard. I feel like he just needs to make his class more engaging.

Im taking his GEG 100 class. Anup was hilarious and easy to reach outside of class. He answers emails like immediately. Not a lot of work but to stand out in a large lecture hall you need to participate. He likes to start the class with current events so keep up with the news.

This professor was different than all my previous professors due to the fact that he wings his lectures. He did that very well because it flew smoothly and he would discuss important topics. But he oversimplifies certain issues and makes it seem as if its a cause and effect situation when nothing is like that when we live in a complex world.

Idk how others are rating this professor less than a five. He was seriously so intriguing, and made that class easy to go to. The app people are complaining about literally has all the work you miss, attendance and the small homework we get (and if you miss a homework he'll still open it up for you). Anup, I know you're reading this. You're a good professor and you were interesting, informative and entertaining. You're egotistical as hell tho so might wanna work on that. 9/10.

Anup is a nice guy and good teacher. His classes are long and despite him telling you you'll get out early he doesn't let you out so if you have a ride plan accordingly. The tests and assignments are all online. There are two final essays/projects which were tedious but not impossible to do if you get them done in advance.

Professor Desai recognizes the importance of encouraging his students to participate and utilize their minds while, learning the subject he teaches with passion. And for someone who teaches geography, he does not know a whole lot (Not knowing where Albania is when half the students are from there is a huge red flag).
