She is an ok teacher. She skips around which can be confussing. I honestly thought i was going to do bad in the class, but got an A.
I took world hist part 2. very interesting. Good prof. take her class. love it so much I am taking 112 this semester
nice teacher...a bit unorganized but it was her first semester at FC and she got tossed into one of the bungalows to teach. JKeep up with the reading and make sure you go to a majority of her lectures (missing a couple will not hurt you) and you'll do fine. Thought I was doing bad and ended up wth an A.
I thought she was a terrible teacher. She is very knowledgable on the subject she is teaching but not a good teacher...I thought going to her class was completely pointless because she doesn't even test on the stuff she lectures on. The whole class is only out of 100 points so any point you miss is a percent taken off...her clarity was lousy
Excellent teacher, she's very kind and sweet. I really enjoyed her class, and wish I can always take her classes. -Rames
She is a good teacher. She has 2 tests and they are open book also she has one paper and presentation. Her study guides online are very helpful, especially her final one. I got an A on her final. I would suggest taking her class. Good professor!
Really great teacher, I loved doing the project and paper. My class was small and she had the most interesting discussions.
I changed my major becuase how she taught. I've never had any other history know their stuff so well! Great teacher, no homework, only one project, very understanding!
Nice teacher, interesting subject. You will need to do a presentation, but it's pretty easy, and you pick your subject.
Its an easy A class. No final, one mid term and one presentation and one essay. She is a nice and kind teacher. Give study guides, mid-term is open book. There is no reason you cant get A from her.
Very nice teacher. She is very smart and knows history very well. Easy A if you print the study guides from online. Very lenient with the one presentation and easy grader on the mid term and research paper. I learned a lot in this class and you will watch many movies.
I didn't like this cl****. In cl**** I couldn't even take notes because the lectures were so complex. Even though I got an A I still wish I would have taken another teacher...
Excellent Teacher. She knows how to teach history. Just go to the class and read the study guide, exams are from study guide questions, get A+.
One of the worst professors I've ever had. Yes, It's an easy A, if you can stick with it the whole semester. Unclear, doesn't take attendance, boring.
It's true her class is an easy A, but if you want to learn something about history, than spare your sanity and take someone better! She jumped around from random topics, and was very unorganized when it came to assigning the presentations and delivering class lectures. If all you want is an easy A, and you don't value your education, than take her.
This teacher really impressed me because she is extremely knowledgeable about history, its actually inspiring! Unfortunately, her class was so unorganized that I didn't get to learn much. She jumped around from one topic to another. She's very inconsistent but lenient at the same time and her class is based on 100 points! easy but good instructor
She is very very easy. No homework exept for the reading and she provides a study guide for the quizes. No final just a reasearch paper and presenation that she gives you at the begining of the semester. She is a little scatered though so keep your tests. She lost out roster. She really knows what is talking about.
I took Mande for 112 Honors, and while she's a very nice person, I didn't care much for her class. Unorganized, lost our grade book, and felt pointless attending lectures. That pretty much sums up her class. Easy tests, 1 presentation, 1 paper, 1 midterm. Def an easy A class, but lacked the fire/structure that is expected from a Prof. Your choice.
Took her during Winter session 08. 8-days straight from 11am-6:15 pm. She was great!! Very witty, relaxed. Not sure of my grade yet, but I learned a lot. She knows a lot about history.
she knows your name even if you dont ever go to class! lol. great teacher. loves what she does. you dont need to go to class, but she'll know. best thing to do is wait until near test time, and study off of her study guide. all her notes are online too!
I took this class during Winter Intersession so it was like History of the World in 9 days. She was really engaging though so class flew by. She knows her stuff and doesn't just lecture. She facilitates great discussions and I learned A LOT. I really enjoyed doing the presentations too.
great teacher makes the class easy, is more concerned with if teaching it rather than anything else so you make the most of it
I showed up to only test dates and got an A. My history class only had 3 20 question tests (out of 100 question studyguide), a map test, and two mandatory presentations. It's a REALLY EASY CLASS. TAKE HER FOR EASY UNITS. she doesn't care if you don't show up at ALL and the tests and presentations are EASY
Mande was very easy, but if you actually want to learn about anything find another teacher. Although she was an "easy A," as an honors prof. she should at least TEACH! Not worth the 20 bucks per unit.
i just checked my grade and i got a B. Oh well....I messed up on the midterm. But, i learned a lot and now i am going to ucla and i feel confident because of her. i loved this class and this teacher. she is the best. i have decided to become a history major because of her. TAKE HER CLASS. she is so smart. she doesn't just lecture. she is great.
She is so knowledgeable and the subject so intresting that I learned alot in spite of all.Her open forum classes and the presentations required compel you to get involved. She has a differant perspective than what we´ve been exposed to through out our lives, and that makes her effective.Structure is simple:if you want to learn you can.
GREAT professor. Extremely knowledgable and honest. Two mandatory presentations in class. They are very easy just know how to use powerpoint and don't use wikipedia (obviously). Tests are easy enough as long as you study. Everything is multiple choice except final. But she gives you essay topics b4.
Easiest class. Don't attend class at all and just show up for an easy 10 min presentation and you get an A. Study guides for each test, memorize them and you'll get an A. Take her over summer, then you still have your summer and will gte past this class!
It sucks that all the classes at FC are based on a grading system of only 100 points- so each point off on anything (tests, quizzes, presentations) is 1% of your grade. She was very knowledgable, but she gives you a lot of study guides so don't buy the book or you'll be wasting money.
I absolutely loved this professor! I took the class in the summer and enjoyed it. You have to do 2 powerpoint presentations, a map test and 5 quizzes. There was no need for the book as she posted study guides for the tests and all you had to do was memorize them. She is so intelligent and open minded. You can tell she knows her stuff.
One of the BEST history teachers i've ever had! she knows her stuff and has a very good sense of humor and keeps the class very interesting!!! highly RECOMMEND.
Professor Mande class was extremely easy.Attendance is not really mandatory in order to get an "A" or a "B" The tests are all based on the study guides that she gives, and each test only consists of 20 questions. Her lectures are not too in depth, and are displayed through powerpoint, but she seems to be a very nice and helpfull professor.
The MOST BRILLIANT, SWEETEST and KINDEST history teacher I have ever had. She knows so much and her stories are the best and the funniest. I learned a lot in her class. LOVE HER. Wish I could take more classes with her.
Another fangirl! Prof. Mande is such an amazing teacher, she knows so much about culture, history, even contemporary issues. Extremely knowledgeable and professional, she's organized. She encourages the students to voice their opinions for discussion, definitely makes the class more interesting. Passing the class is easy, but you learn a lot too!
shes an awesome teacher wish she could teach all my subjects
I took Professor Mande's class a couple semesters ago, and overall it was an extremely easy and interesting class. There was only a few short multiply choice tests and one class presentation throughout the semester. Professor Mande very nice and helpful. Her lectures are simply to understand. I would recommend this class to anyone.
So easy, presentations and class discussion are easy points. 20 questions on test that are exactly from study guides. Just remember them and you'll do fine
History Honors 112. The class is out of 100 points. That's the only downfall of the class. 2 presentations. It's a very discussion type class, people get really into it. She doesn't care if you sleep in class. There's 5 quizzes. She gives you the study guides w/ answers, they're the same questions on the quiz. Fun class to interact with classmates.
She is the greatest prof in the world. Her knowledge is greater then one thinks and she will discuss with you anything about history. She makes class super interesting, no homework and chapter quizzes every so often. Her study guides have the answers on them! Class out of 100 points.
Took her class during summer, the class was really interesting, and not difficult! The teacher is really nice and very knowledgable! I am selling the textbook for HIST 113 and HIST 112, email at [email protected]
She's awesome!! Actually made history fun for the first time in my life. Super lenient and understanding of the life of a college student.
the discussions that we had in class were amazing, she really knew how to keep a class discussion interesting. she is lazy though; its hard to depend on her to follow through with little things one might ask for.
Where do i even start with Anu Mande, she is simply the most amazing individual ever! She is smart, helpful, hilarious, spontaneous and cookie! She will make the class so easy and interesting. Best college professor! Studying abroad with her was the best experience she was like a mom to us and we all grew so close to her. Incredibly remarkable.
So I hated Hist before Mande but she is amazing and I had a great time in her class. She connects with her students and knows how to keep it interesting. She has so much information and passes it on enthusiastically to her students. I wish I could stay and take more classes with her but I took them all, lol. If you do the work you can't fail!
I took her online class. So easy! Easiest online class ever! I never stressed! As long as you log onto the website and make sure you complete each assignment before the due date you will have no problem. Easy to get full credit. She answers all questions very quickly. Easy A!
I took her online class! Highly recommend it! Don't doubt it for a second. It's completely doable. 2 research papers, 6 discussions, 3 EASY quizzes. Just do the work by the time and dates, you should be FINE. Don't let research papers intimidate you, I think everyone can get through em! Teacher answers questions super fast and is extremely helpful.
Love this teacher. She is SUPER bright and COOL. I learned so much about the world. You have to take a class with her. She is THE BEST. She has been to many countries. I have taken all her courses. Simply fabulous.
Easiest online class ever!!!! The book is completely unnecessary because her directions are crystal clear. As long as you remember the due dates of the assignments it's the easiest A you will ever get. Definitely take this class!!!!
I'm taking her online class and I must say its extremely easy!!!! There are 6 discussion question you have to answer in 200 words, 1 essay, and 3 quiz's (each worth 10% of your grade). Quizs are easy because she gives you the answers lol. Paper is easy. Didn't learn anything though. Easy A! If you fail this class, drop out of college please!
EXTREMELY EASY.
I took her online class. Its really easy but I didnt learn very much. If youre looking for an easy way to fulfill your history requirement then this is the class for you.
An awesome teacher, an easy A if you actually look at the study guide.
This teacher saved my college career. I accidentally did not follow directions and turned in the last essay without using the correct format. Letting it slide was the difference between an A and a C. Luckily, she let me slide and I got to keep my admission to UCLA! I love this professor!
I didn't think this was the greatest class or prof. Attendance was "mandatory" but she eventually stopped taking it. Basically if you study the insanely long study guides & are able to remember the answers to the 20 questions she quizzes you on, then you are golden. I was on the brink of having a C, she doesn't offer any extra credit. No exceptions
Phenomenal teacher that has to make the class easy because of the students. Her lectures are on point and her knowledge is fantastic. Will definitely take her classes.
Wow, at first when reviewing the comments I thought it was going to a breeze passing this class. I WAS WRONG. Incredibly difficult on quizes. You take 6 or 7 but need to study 2-3 chapters and memorize over 150 study questions. Also one 1 Research paper and 1 essay. Well, She is Awesome but it was killer!
Excellent Teacher and Highly recommended!! She best rated teacher in FULLERTON COLLEGE and CYPRESS as top "5" five stars!!! All her exams appears on her study guide, really dont need to buy the textbook, not necessary if you cant afford it and dont need it, only study guide POWER POINT with all the Q's and A's."I study guide got easy "A"!! :)
I took her online course during Summer 2013 and she was super easy! Definitely take her!
Five quizzes, one presentation, one paper. Full points are given to everyone for simply doing the presentation and the paper. 95% of the quiz questions are derived from sets of questions and answers that she provides. Easiest A. Aside from the (almost non-existent) workload, she is a kind and delightful woman.
very sweet. dont buy the book, you dont need it. you really dont need to go to class, the info in her lectures is not at all what is on the test which is annoying at first, but she gives you a study guide which you can memorize the answers and get 100%. 1 research paper &presentation which she gives full credit as long as you follow instructions
Took her online class. Super annoying that she doesn't use blackboard. You have to use this awful site called my History lab & buy an Etext book that costs $75!! The e book is horrible. The text cuts off. Had so many issues with the platform. Waste of $75 for an ebook. Professor answers questions really fast but dislike using my history lab.
Took her online class. Pretty easy class as long as you get the textbook. Class is out of 100 points. BE WARNED, discussion posts are worth 10 points. That means if you miss ONE, you virtually can't get an A even if you well you do on everything else. I got 98% on everything but missed 1 post = 88/100. There goes that A I tried so hard for...
This class is pretty straight forward. 8 or so 20 q quizzes, a PowerPoint presentation and a 5 page research paper. The lectures are very interesting and she is very knowledgable but the quizzes don't pertain to the lecture, they pertain to the study guides which are on mygateway and they are basically the answers to the quizzes...study those!
Needed this class to transfer. I hate history and this has nothing to do with my major (Biology). Easy EASY A, just stay on top of the due dates. All assignments and tests are open on day 1. Super easy.
Loved this teacher. I highly recommend her for any history class she teaches. She is organized, and very helpful outside of class.
Took her summer history course. I really enjoyed her class, she is very engaging and quite funny as well. As others have said the study guides are very important. She gives you a 5 page paper, which isn't bad, plus she allows you to choose the topic as long as it's historical or a current event :) Great class, take her..she makes history fun!!!!!!!
All I have to say about this course is...just because a college course is easy doesn't mean you can't take a lot from it. She made me more interested in history..the Vietnam War..things I didn't think twice about. Take her! Pay attention, she has a lot of knowledge to offer.
I took Professor Mande for Hist 112F. She is an amazing teacher and makes the topic interesting. The class is fairly straight forward; there are 4 exams with 25 multiple choice questions. Prior to each exam, she will give you roughly 150 multiple choice questions with answers and she ends up placing 25 of those onto the exam. Definitely take her!
She is a good professor I would totally take her! Just remember to take the quizzes and pass them, the quizzes are very important if you miss them you'll probably fail so take the quizzes but overall she is a really good professor! If I had the chance I would take her!
This teacher is best out of the best, she responds quick and willing to help her student when needed!! If you finish every assignment, I will guarantee that you will pass with an A. Keep track on your due dates because she does not accept late work. Overall, this teacher is my favorite and totally going to take her again.
Read the study guides over and over again and you will do well on the quizzes (no tests!) For presentation and research paper, follow the guidelines and you will get the full points. If you have any questions, ASK and she will answer via email in a few hours. I really enjoyed listening to her lectures and could see her love & passion for history (:
I took her for online summer class. Every week you had to turn in two short essays, she gives you a list of questions and you get to choose the topic you want to write about. She assigns chapters from the textbook to read which the exam will be on (there was only one exam). I like writing so it was easy, if you don't....
BEST HIST PROF. super passionate about hist and great personality. No hw or ec, just study her study guides (70% of same questions on quiz, 30% lecture notes) and write either 2 research papers OR 1 paper and a presentation. generous grader. notes are a handful but super interesting lectures. textbook extremely unnecessary. always willing to help
Never cared too much for history but she actually made history enjoyable and interesting! Took her class online during the summer and there was a discussion board and a short essay every week. Only one Test. She gets back to you and grades quickly. I never write ratings but had to since her class was amazing!
Best teacher ever, very respectful, caring for her students concern. I took her year ago she was very detail, even if you don't show up to work she'll know your name and us easy to talk during class or after class for any help. Thank you!!:)
She is super nice and friendly! You have three 500 word research papers, five 30 Q multiple choice tests, and a presentation or another essay. Easy. She posts study guides for quizzes that are VERY helpful. Never opened my book and always got an A or B on quizzes. Lectures are very long. She is very accommodating and helpful if you ask for help.
She is very interesting;lectures are not boring at all; very modern explanation
Best teacher ever. Want to learn world history, take her class. She is the best. Super sharp, amazing lectures, great study guides. Many types of assignments. Wonderful personality. Always happy and cheerful. I never missed her class. Respects and values every student's ideas and comments. SO HELPFUL. Goes out of the way to assist students.
This was my second course with Professor Mande online. Like the first, it's very easy! All you have to do is stay on top of the assignments and you're golden! She does not accept late work because all of the assignments are open for you starting day one! If you'e not a slacker, take her if you get the chance!
Very nice lady. She really goes out of her way to help you. She has no problem meeting outside of class to help with term paper. Don't worry, theres only one paper due. Study guides are vital to passing her tests. Study the study guides and you'll do fine.
You don't need the textbook because her quizzes are based on the study guides online. If you go over the study guides and pay attention to her lectures, you won't have a problem with the quizzes. There are 7 quizzes, 1 research paper, 1 essay or presentation. She gives feedback right away. NOT a tough grader.
Awesome Professor she made class topic interesting. Show up to class and study her lecture notes and study guide if you want to Ace her quiz's.
Awesome class and awesome teacher. Mande has a cool style of teaching that is not boring at all. Study all the study guides she gives you, and memorize them, and you should get a A on every test. Must take !
Took her online Hist 113 class, Just do all the discussion questions and pass the online quizzes and your set to pass! I didn't buy the textbook, they have it on reserve in the library and google can be your friend when writing the papers and taking the quizzes . Got an A in the class :)
Gives enough opportunity to learn and pass.
Took her online 113 course. Straight forward class. No misunderstandings and everything (coursework and expectations) is spelled out in the syllabus at the beginning of the semester, Stay on top of the assignments and the reading. You'll do fine! Would def take her again
She really working with if you have a learning debilitates, very nice, and helpful
Online 113 is a writing-intensive course, so be prepared to be writing A-LOT! I would only suggest taking this class, if you like writing and/or do not mind writing so many papers. Class is out of 100 points only, so EVERY point counts. DO NOT buy the textbook, all of your papers references have to be from outside sources. So save your money!
There is a lot of writing. Her "discussions" are actually short essays. These are super easy to do and I did most pretty early on. If you're taking her online course, you have the option of finishing the class early. 5 discussion, 4 quizzes, and two small writing assignments. Did not get a single piece of feedback. Her class was out of 100 points.
Summer semester is not easy especially when you have more than 1 class. This professor probably doesn't understand it. Don't expect for good feedback. She won't say a word about how well you did :(
I love this professor. Her lectures are simply amazing. She chooses very interesting topics and ideas. Always connects with current events. I learned so much about the world today and history. I have decided to study history because of her. She is so caring and helpful. Best prof. at FC. Take her class. You too will love it.
She is the best ever. Just study her study guides and you are good to go. Dont forget to do the class presentation she will always give As even if the presentation is awful.
Very straight forward class. Do your video assignments (2 of them). There are two of them. As for the quizzes just study the study guides she gives you in the beginning of the semester. ALSO, study for your map quiz I didn't really study for it and had to work even harder for the rest of the semester lool. I didn't buy the book and have an A.
The easiest online class I have ever taken, and I learned a lot. I finished the entire class in the first 2 weeks because you can work ahead. Get it done ASAP, and follow directions on citations. TAKE HER!
I just received my grade for this class. It's such a straight forward course with four quizzes, five discussion posts, and two assignments. The overall course totals 100 points. You don't need the book because all assignments require outside sources so don't worry about that. Take this class! Easy A if you're on top of things.
Professor Mande is very kind, caring, and passionate about the subject that she teaches. Her quizzes are 70% of the study guide and 30% lecture. The class is out of 100 points w/ no extra credit. This is a very easy-going class as long as you study the study guides and do the 2 writing assignments and presentation, which are easy. I got an A easily
If you can't pass her class, then thats on you. All the study guides are on Blackboard and the stuffs covered in lecture. She is extremely nice, go to her office hours if you need help. The class itself consists of 4 quizes, 3 essays, and a presentation, study the quizzes, do your assignments and an A you will get.
Didn't really enjoy learning the material of this class but Prof Mande is one the sweetest professors I've ever had. Incredibly understanding and intelligent. 3 research papers, 4 quizzes (study guides w exact questions from quiz are posted on canvas), and a presentation. Show up to class, put effort into the homework and you'll get an A
Awesome Professor, had her for both 112 and 113. The study guides are exactly what is on the test, so just look those over and you'll be good as long as you pay attention in class.
Easy class, pay attention. Lots of quizzes.
She was easy and super nice. Do the homework and you'll pretty much pass. She chose interesting topics for discussion boards and her tests weren't terribly difficult
Is this professor easy if I take it in the fall online semester?
pretty easy
This class consists of 5 Discussion posts (small essays, just cite correctly,) 3 short essays, and 3 quizzes. For the discussion posts, she gives you a list of prompts for you to choose from. Only down fall is that all of these assignments equal 100 points. So points missed make a significance different in your grade.
Great professor! She makes History concrete and concise! In her 113 course she gives a few in and out of class assignments and a map test which is easy! Her exams are from the study guides and a bit from lecture but she does a great job explaining them. Overall take her!
Not at all understanding and just wants to grade the homework to get done with it. Ask her something and she says that it is not her problem. I am a bio major but this is the only class that made me cry and kept me from transferring to UCI! Talk to the dean of humanities if you have an issue with the class and the grade so you dont end up like me!
The worst prof at FC.
Love this professor. Great class, interesting topics. Really smart and caring teacher. I am a history major and loved the variety of assignments. Take her!
She gives 6 discussions, a film review, a video assignment, and 3 quizzes. You have plenty of time to complete them before the due date. Overall this wasn't bad for an online class but since she grades based on her grading scale of 100. Make sure you keep up to date on your assignments but overall she's good for online.
Three papers, three quizzes, one presentation or in-class essay, no exams. Don't need book. Just spend time studying the study guide, you'll get an A. 100 points (equates to 100% of grade) in total, so every point counts! She doesn't go hard on students, as long as you do the work!
Professor Mande's online 113 course is very straight forward. Each assignment is worth 8 points and each quiz is worth 10. Totals to 100 points. There are very few assignments, but you don't need a textbook to complete them. You can search up information and just cite it in your responses.
Easiest A my entire 5 years here. Very straightforward and gives us lots of time to complete the assignment. Just make sure to follow the directions and you are fine! The only downside to people (not me) is that she only has a few assignments. So make sure you do well! I actually liked that because it lets me juggle other classes easier. Take her!
Easy class take her!!! as long as you do your assignments and study you'll definitely pass. She very helpful and the notes she provides for the quizzes are very similar. No need to buy the textbook. Just 4 quizzes and a couple assignments.
Professor Mande is great! Take her. There is a bit of homework and discussions, but she give a list of questions/topics to choose from so you can write about any one of them you prefer. Don't get behind, no late work accepted!! She opens the whole semester at the beginning so you can work ahead. Be aware- assignments due every Friday by 6 PM!!
There are 3 essay assignments of about 500 words, and 2 of class-assignment. Also, there is a presentation, but you can choose a 1000 word essay instead of a presentation. The essay assignment was easy, if you turn in, you will usually get maximum points. Attendance doesn't matter but she does not accept the late assignment, just study for quiz!
The class is made up of 100 points so every assignment counts. additionally she is somewhat of a tough grader so just make sure it looks like you did a lot of work so you get a good grade.
Read the mandated assignments, fully answer questions and you'll pass. You will write a bit but a forgiving grader. The lack of pressure for a 5-week course made me more anxious to learn from the topics we had. Instead of overflowing her class with too much information, she inspired me to ask questions and find out more information on my own time.
Took this class over the summer the professor is super sweet and nice, all the due dates and assignments were made accessible since the first day! Since it was online no lectures, no book just read the posts, notes, and watch the videos and do the work! NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS- reasonably so! Def would take the class again!
Anu Mande is an amazing professor, do not be afraid to reach out and ask for help. Online has been a bit confusing at first, so I would suggest doing all the reading in the modules, even if they are not needed for assignments, they'll be helpful in the exams.
This class is an easy A as long as you complete all assignments based on their guidelines.
Professor Mande is one of the most chill teachers at Fullerton College. Her work is not hard at all and she is an amazing person. If you choose her class all I have to say is congratulations.
I would say that she is definitely one the best History professors at Fullerton College. She is super clear about what she wants done and all due dates are up from the first day. Accessible and a caring professor.
NEVER EVER TAKE CLASSES FROM THIS PROFESSOR. I'm a straight A student and this class is the only B I got. I think that explains a lot. Especially because of pandemic, it's hard to make the deadlines, but she is NOT flexible. Also, all assignments and tests sum up to 100 points, which means every point is worth a whole percentage on the final grade.
Professor Mande is really clear in her expectations in her class. Lectures are interesting and the material is also very interesting. Highly recommend her.
The online course is very simple if you complete all the work. Assignments are spread out nicely and you have adequate time to finish each one. Professor Mande gives full credit as long as you put in the effort, so turn in all assignments and you will succeed.
This was world civilizations since 1550, but I found her assignments were based on historical subjects outside of this topic. Since this was a summer course it was a lot of reading in addition to weekly assignments. Every point is worth 1% of your grade, so losing a point here and there adds up. Easy class just not focused on world civilizations.
Very straight forward class. Great Professor.
This professor has 6 assignments, 3 discussions, and 1 quiz. The course layout is not intuitive, but it is organized. Concerning the assignments, it's hard to find the answers needed using the resources she provides. Each question requires at least 5 sentences, which always irks me. While she does use a textbook, it's hard to read and navigate.
Awesome teacher! The class was super easy. 2 quizzes, a couple discussions, and other question based assignments. I got 100 on all assignments except the quizzes. 10/10 recommend her class.
The class consisted of 10 assignments, 2 discussions, and 1 course quiz. There is a lot of reading but the assignments are simple just follow the sources posted and answer the questions. Make sure to follow her instructions to receive full points. The course quiz was literally all the answers from the study guides. Definitely recommend her!
Very easy online class, graded by very few things which gives you a lot of time to work on other courses. Strict on turning in hw on time, but she gives you so much time for easy work it shouldn't be a problem. Course is very hands on yourself but again... it's very easy to where you shouldn't really need to contact her for help.
Really easy class up until the course quiz, but if you read the textbook then you'll be fine. Her YouTube videos provided for most of the assignments were really helpful and straightforward. The questions asked for the assignments just require you to read the material and as long as you meet the grading criteria you'll get an A
Professor Mande is literally the best professor! Her class is easy if you stay on top of assignments, turn them in on time, and also do the reading and research. I highly recommend her, and she gives you study guides for the final, which are very helpful!

I highly recommend her, and she gives you study guides for the final, which are very helpful! I did 18 units this semester, and her class was the best!
Easy A. As long as you hit the word county (even if it's barely related to the subject) you will get full credit for the assignment. She doesn't offer any extra credit because she said the course is just really easy. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Took this class along with calc 1 and engl 103, barely even noticed it. I want to take more of her classes.
Prof. Mande is so kind and helpful. She gives few assignments (10 mini 500-word assignments, 2 discussion boards and 1 quiz), and gives helpful and easy lectures. She gives GREAT feedback, and is just so incredibly smart and humble. Her syllabus and grading scale are organized perfectly and textbook is online and free! Easy A if you do the work!
She is an awesome professor that does not hesitate to talk with the students and listen to there thoughts and opinions
Professor Mande was great throughout the semester. She was always willing to answer questions and responded right away. There were 10 assignments, 2 discussion boards, and a course quiz at the end. There are also study guides for the course quiz which match the test. As long as you do what she asks for and study, you'll pass the class.
open note exam final, really EASY at grading essay question papers, discussion assignments are not so bad, and mandatory was practically not required. i took this class in Fall 2022, as a concurrent enrollment HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT, and it was soooooo easy. nothing needed to be memorized, and practically guaranteed an 'A' grade if you do ALL the hw
Professor Mande's class is a breeze if you stay on top of assignments and do the reading. The study guides for the final are super helpful. I also found Unstuck ai great for prepping - definitely saved me time.
Professor Mande is an excellent teacher who makes learning straightforward and really easy. There are eight writing assignments, each 4–8 paragraphs long and she answers questions based on her lectures. The research project involves a deeper dive into a specific topic, a final quiz, and a really easy grader.
Homework was simple but somewhat tedious to write out. There's a couple videos to watch for each assignment (9 total i think). There were 2 exams that were difficult to study for, but her guides were helpful. Free textbook that was honestly really confusing to read through. Cares a lot about the content and quality of her class!!
Highly recommend this class for history requirement!! The curriculum was so clear, simple, and interesting. She has so many resources available if you want to dive into the topics more. All assignments were pretty much short answer/essay (500-600 words ish) to questions. One final test at the end. Take her!
Didn't realize this was my 2nd time taking her, this time for summer, but very easy and straight forward class, she provides videos and links for homework assignments, clear criteria just stay on top of your work and turn everything on time. Highly recommend for those wanting/needing to take history!
Very easy class as long as you can keep up with HW (no late assignments ever) She writes a paragraph of feedback and fun facts on every assignment! Great professor with lots of variety in topics we learn about, and almost every single assignment is exactly the same
