Rasmussen does not give comprehensive lectures. If you did not know the subject beforehand good luck. For the lecture, we are shown powerpoints with multiple-choice questions. The lecture that we do receive, is working on one example question that will last for pretty much the entire lecture. Currently, the other class is two chapters ahead of us.

Overall just bad at giving lectures. Does not explain things well, and wastes a lot of lecture time with inefficient "class participation" activities. You basically have to learn everything on your own from the textbook, and the tests are extremely hard. Other classes get 1 exam grade dropped, but she does not. Test Grading is also very unforgiving

AVOID AT ALL COST. She makes a 101 course harder than any 300 or 400 class that Ive taken. Her exams are not representative of what she teaches you and she gives you significantly less time than needed to complete the exams. If she is your only option to take physics 101 this semester, then just wait until next semester to take it. Shes that bad.

Avoid having Anya as your professor at all costs. She lacks any ability to cohesively teach information in class. Good luck finishing the homework without a chegg subscription because she is often 2 chapters behind in lecture compared to what you are learning in the book. Professor won't tell you what's expected of you and then blames you for making the mistakes while her lectures are basically useless. You're pretty much teaching your self physics at this point but the book will only go over the bare basics. This leaves the 15 question homework where you can only learn to do them using Chegg, a tutor, or youtube.

Dr. Guy is one of the best professors that teach at WSU. It is my third year and I have never had a professor that understands me as well as Dr. Guy does! She gives a lot of time for the exams, which are very very easy. She always arrives at least 30 minutes before class to help students if they are struggling. She enters assignments in on time.
