Very nice teacher. Exams are without surprises.

HONESTLY ONE OF THE BEST MATH PROFESSORS IN BARUCH. TAKE HER!
Pretty good teacher. not so intresting. tests are easy if you study. Always keeps you there till the very end of class sometimes later. she gives HW you dont have to do it. Pretty much always takes attendance. after that enjoy

If you are not mathematically inclined do not take her class, possibly the worst "teacher" i have ever had. She tries hard but uses examples that only work if you excel at math.
Professor Allen is one of the most understanding professors I've ever met. She's a pleasant person, too.
She is willing to help you ALWAYS. Gives HW but doesnt collect it. Explains everything to a T. Would take her in a heartbeat if needed to again. TAKE HER!!!!
Her class is easy if you already know the material and the textbook by heart. She is one of those teachers that can try all they want but cannot teach.
A very nice teacher who tries her best to help students. However, she does not know how to teach. she is very confusing. In class exams are easy b/c she tells you what to expect. The problem is the departmental final exam that you have to worry about passi
Unfortunetly most of the idiots here have no idea what they are saying. Allen is one of the best in a school where a good math teacher is hard to find. Explains well, cares about students, and is a very understanding person. Take Allen, won't regret IT!
If you already know calculus then take her. If did not take it at all before, avoid her bc you will be lost. The main thing is to pass the department final which is much difficult than her exam plus her lousy explanation will not help. Avoid her
very nice and caring, but cannot explain clearly. if u never took calculus before, beware, you will be lost. tests tend to be harder than the class work. hw is just for practice.
She's very nice, her exams arent bad if you study, however she is not very good at explaining. I had calc in H.S. so it wasnt bad but apart from me and another guy the class was lost. The departmental final isn't easy and she doesnt prepare you for it. Even I struggled with it. Be careful!!
exams are straight-forward but its hard...u dont really need to study if u pay attention in class and if u understand the general idea of the topics...shes ok...
She is great a really sweet professor she is very interesting exams are ok but you have to do your work and keep up with the class take her she is very helpful
Truly wonderful, such a sweet nature, she really does wanna help. But you gotta do your part: study the material, keep up and do homework. Any calculus course requires extensive studying, because cuz theres lots of topics & little time. But at least take it with someone pleasant and helpful.
She is a good teacher and knows the subject but unfortunately, the final counts a lot and she is horrible when preparing you for it. I would take someone like Haiman because he prepares you for the final. Professors are supposed to prepare you for the final because the finals count a lot.

omg... ahhhh... if u havent taken calculus before.... dont take her plzzzzzz
I think this professor is very nice. She is willing to help students when they need help. I think every professors are the same. If you study hard, you're the winner. I will suggest people to take her class because she really know her materials well and can prepare you for the final.
this class at first was a hassle but turned out to be really easy the test is just like the department final so if pass them ull do good in the class and final got an A- and was satisifed and she is cute =)
Great professor and very smart lady!!! She is very clear in explaining a subject. Extremly nice, helpful and I have to say... she is cute. Do your homeworks, and you get a good grade. She really prepares you for the final. Just do your work!
She is a horrible teacher. If you really want to learn don't take her! She is a sweetheart but she cannot teach for the life of her. Her grading system is so complicated and she doesnt prepare you for the final at all. Her lessons are scattered all over the place and her exams are nothing like what she reviews in class. Don't take her!
She is really trying hard to help you, she does everything in her power to help you. She got good sense of humor.

don't take her if your math skills aren't that great because she will screw you up badly!
Great Professor. Not too easy because math itself is not easy. Very clear about topics on the test. Test questions are always expected.
I don't care what anyone says about Ms. Allen. She a very good math teacher. In my case, I was very confused in the beginning. To the extent of even failing quizes but after all the extra help she gave me (and encouragement) I was able to get a B+ in the course.
she's the worst math teacher, i correct her at least once a day. she uses poor examples to demostrate new applying techniques
Shes a NICE woman , thats it but she does not know what she is doing. She shoves examples thinking that everyone understands it, she thinks if she knows it everyone knows it. Shes helpful if you ask her for it. But take my advice if you are not good in math DONT TAKE HERRRRR
I never had her, but she taught in video tutorials. Very good at explaining math, atleast better than previous teachers! And a delight to look at!
She's VERY helpful, always willing to show you how to work the problems before and after class, but I do not understand her explanations. Her teaching is unclear. Overall she is very nice, if want a teacher to go over everything with you this the one to go to, but her explanations will leave you lost.
ughh...i could never stand the fact that she is just nice but not a good teacher at all. She does not prepare students for the finals at all... Do not let her charm fool you!!!
the best professor ever!! shes very clear with her explanations and helps you prepare for the finals by going over the sample test. RECOMMEND IT!!! PS. very nice!!
It's true that she's nice but that's useless when she can't teach clearly. Who cares if you're nice or not when the students are unclear of the material & she doesn't clarify it well enough. The assignments she gives are hard, the exams are hard, she's hard to understand; she just screwed me over with her wide smile on her face making you feel bad.
SHE'S HORRIBLE!!! Can't teach, kiss your A goodbye if you're taking her.

SHE CAN'T TEACH PERIOD!!!
Who ever says that she is bad teacher has a half brain or being lazy because she gives lots of homeworks. But at the end you will pass with A or B at worse. She makes you work, but this class needs it. She is a great teacher, clear, nice and very helpfull.
I had Prof. Allen last semester for Pre Calc, she is very good at explaining things. She was always available before and after class if you had any questions. Really got me prepared for the final. If you are completely lost in math take her!! She will help you out!
this professor is horrible. She does not prepare you for the final... she just sucks...Her teaching sucks as well. Do not let her niceness trick you.
Calculus in itself is a really difficult subject, but this professor tries really hard to make you understand the material. Quizes and homeworks are given for extra credit. Tests are hard; but the departmental final was actually easier than her tests. I passed by a slim margin :)
She is professor Horrible. Do not let her niceness trick you, watchout, stay way
If you are lazy like me, then dont take her, she gives homework, gives quizes, takes attendance. You will understand everything she teaches , if you manage to stay up. I hate mth, and i came in that class already hating her, before i got to know her. She does a poor job of trying to make class fun, buts its not her fault, because mth is already bor
A squared (as we called her) Is number one!! She was very helpful and prepared us for the final well. When the final came it was super easy. Highly reccomended!
She is a great teacher. Very clear. Take it from a student that barely passed/failed math every year in high school and recieved 90's on all her test. There is some homework, but it isnt too hard. Quizzes are also pretty easy
She is fake, pretent to be nice nice so avoid complaints, but really baaad person, know nothing, tell her the answer every day, stay away, considered youself warned.
THE BEST
Professor is the best math professor in the world. I came into class knowing barely any math. However after Professor Allen's great teaching style i came out understanding the subject. Professor Allen is the only professor that i met that actually cares about her students. Her class requires some work but in the end it will pay off.
She is one of the worst professor I had ever had. She gives out tests which is BS for this class. She is a mean teacher and never conern of her student. She jokes a lot but they are not funny at all. If you are a ESL student, dont take her. For the others, if you think you are socialized, good luck!
I'm not sure what she was doing up here. It wasn't teaching.

Shes nice and helpful, always wating for ur questions. But i dnt think she teaches well. She gives many examples and if u think them twice,u will do fine.College is more ur responsibility.Tests r easy and couple of quizzes but those r nothing. If u good at mth take her!
She hateful to ESL students, can not look at us, you go away Allen
Miss Hate hate professor
I never even had this professor but I think she teaches wonderfully, and is very helpful. She explains the material in great detail to the point where a third grader could understand her. IF you take her class and cannot pass it, then you my friend are a sad person.
Pro. Allen is very nice. She cares about her students, but u really need to know your math. she tries to help u even though she goes fast. make sure u do a lot of practice. the test and quizzes are similar. she even gives extra credit. for ppl not good with math, she might not be ur favorite professor, but take her if math is an ok subject for u.
dont know**** what she doing, is this a professor, why/ how did she get the job
Prof.Allen is one of the best. She is very good and gives a lot of examples. She really cares about her students and will go the extra mile for them. If you are willing to do the work you will get an A. She gives a lot of extra credits.
The best professor at Baruch. She really cares about her students and hopes all of us will do well on the final and explains everthing in detail. Those who gave her negative rating prob. didn't do well on the final. Calculus is a really tough subject, try taking the other profesors, she's the best compared to them. Trust me!
Great teacher. She actually explains the concepts behind the math so you understand it. Makes the math and the final easy. Everybody in my class loved her, I have a feeling the people giving her bad reviews is all one loser person.
April Allen is the best math teacher at baruch TAKE HER noone else in baruch seems to know how to teach shes the only one who knows what she is doing. Coming from someone who does not to do alot of work, I loved her she is great, she is nicest teacher in the world. TAKE HER A ++++++++
She's really nice and helpful
Great teacher. Cares alot about how her students do. Stays after class to explain whatever you didn't understand. Homeworks are explained in class, quizes are easy if you understand the homework, exams are easy if you understand the material--->and she helps you understand it. Reachable outside of class and is a great teacher.
More than most other subjects, math students love to trash teachers when they do poorly. Sometimes it's warranted, but not in this case. April is crystal clear, dedicated, and her exams are very fair. Claiming she has biases against any particular groups is just stupidity. Blame yourself if you failed her class.
Great teacher. Very clear, dedicated. Loves teaching. Her class is fun. Take her
this professor is very nice. she will go to extraordinary strengths to make sure you do good. you just have to want to do good. she is avalable thru email and she can stay after class. she is super nice. in this class, you will learn and understand math. 3 exams a few quizes depatment final and homework online. a fair amount. and she will help w/ i
took calc with her. shes nice in that she appologizes for everything and appears to want to help, writing "sorry" on bad tests etc. personally she kind of sucked. she goes fast and didnt teach some topics on the final ("study on your own") about half of our class failed. even people who passd her tests failed the final. bottom line - dont take her.
I'm taking her 2-nd semester. Got an easy A for MTH2003, and arrange my semester's schedule so I was able to take her class again. She is the BEST!!! MTH teacher. Used to hate math before, now didn't even once opened a book. She explains everything perfectly, will chew every problem for you just don't be so dumb and keep your eyes on the board.
She really nice, but thats not what a class should be about. She teaches math in a way that get boring very quickly. Also, she's very slow at teaching the material. She so slow that she didn't even teach us the last two lessons for the final and expected us to learn it by ourselves. B/c of this I failed the final, and my first ever math class.
Shes really nice, but thats not what a class should be about. She's very slow at teaching the material. She so slow that she didn't even teach us the last two lessons for the final and expected us to learn it by ourselves. B/c of this I failed the final, and my first ever math class. Not only that, but this year half the class also failed.
She is a very nice person.Teaching is kinda fast,But you will get her help. She replies email. She is very concern about your grade. She drops the lowest one, questions are pretty easy and you don't need to buy the text book!
I don't know what kind of losers complained here about this professor but she is very good and prepares you for the final. Her exams are much harder then the final, so you have no problem at the end of the semester. Gives a lot of extra credit.
She's very nice, and will try to find points where she can. Offers extra credit. No reason to do bad on her tests. However, she does NOT prepare you for the final. She leaves out several topics that students eventually had to teach themselves, and her tests are much easier than the final exam. Many people in my class failed. Avoid!
AMAZING! i had her for MTH 2003 and @005.she is like the mother i never had. she will help you until you completely get it. she likes to explain thoroughly, so towards the end she may rush. but she is the sweetest person, she is the reason i love math now. take her!
April Allen is such a great teacher, she's very helpful and always does her best to be a great teacher. She's awesome.
Professor Allen is such a sweet person. She will do everything in her power to help students and she's a wonderful math professor. She's one of the best I've ever had and she knows exactly how to prepare students for the finals, I got a B in her class because she prepared me well enough for the final
Wonderful, sweet professor. lenient grader, drops lowest quiz grade, gives lots of extra credit, gives very clear explanations. only thing is she sometimes takes super long to answer e-mails. better to get to her after class or during office hours. I definitely recommend that you take her if you get the chance.
The materials for MTH3010 is not easy at all. She assigned very tricky problems for the HW but breaks down step by step how to do. Her exam is based on the examples and homework problems that she did in the class. She is awesome professor.
Sheis 100% best math professor ever! I took MTH2205 and was amazed with the way she teaches! She saves all the lecture notes on blackboard, goes over some examples from WebWork in class and answers almost all the e-mails and questions in class! She explains math the best and helps to be fully prepapred for the final!Good grader. Highly recommended!
She is brilliant! She goes out of her way to give review sessions and extra credit. If you were to build your own professor, you wouldn't have even dream of someone like her. If you see her name attached to any of the courses, take it! Even if you don't need it, take it anyway! Baruch should never let her go! You actually want to go to her class!
Sipmly the BEST. I wish to take her for Pre cal,and Calc, and Calc II and etc. She teaches very well. Do the work!
avoid at all costs, hormonal unorganized, judgmental professor. shes horrible
By Far the best professor i have ever had!!!!!!!!!! i failed this course, and retook it and got a 100 on the final, when they say some people were born to teach, clearly they were speaking of her, i would take her for every math, but she's leaving for maternity leave, TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!! when available
Great professor!
I recommend this prof bc for such class as mth you need a teacher who can EXPLAIN material well.she also covers over a lot of HW in class. attendance and studying is NECESSARY, but her classes will make it much easier for to you to succeed. I got A-
She is PERFECT. I gave her a 5 on easiness not because of the material (which should be hard) but because of how easy she makes it feel. She'll always help you if you need it. She really cares that you do well. Definitely take her when she comes back (She's pregnant with twins). Just show up and listen and math will become like breathing to you. :D
I have to say this professor is one of my favorites in the school so far! She actually takes the time out to make sure that everyone understands the material and is even available after class to help you with homework. She posts class notes online and is always available through email. She's a total sweetheart and makes the corniest cute math jokes
She's a GREAT professor. She'll go out of your way to help you. If the class misses question on the test, she'll switch the points around to accomadate everyone. There are 3 tests and the final, provided you study for them you'll do extremely well. She sends the class notes to you, which is something most teachers dont do.All in all shes amazing !
I am horrible at math and at first dreaded knowing that I had to take pre calc. But she is the best professor I ever had for any subject. She cares about her students and really wants you to pass. If you are not good at math you need to go to sacc at least twice a week just to keep up. If you can take her, definitely take her she is just amazing.

Really helpful. Does her best to help you do well. Sends out notes ASAP, and gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. The tests get progressively difficult, so don't think you're going to ace the class if you do well on the first one. She replaces your lowest grade with your final grade (if its higher) so that's a plus. Definitely recommended.
Best prof. at Baruch!!!!! If you suck at Math take her you will get an A trust me!!!! She is awesome!!!! Love her!!!!
Great teacher! Just pay attention in class. She is a great intro teacher! Makes everything so clear and postpones WebWorks. Had her in the Fall of 2011 and I think she went on maternity leave right after.
If you see her name listed anywhere, you'd be a fool to not take her class. After my second time failing pre-calc, I was able to take this wonderful gem of a professor. Her vocabulary is amazing, she is extremely helpful and empathic. She understands the struggles we go through and is always willing to help.
If you are terrible at Math, take Professor Allen. You will not regret it. She is extremely helpful and caring towards her students.
Great Class. She is just a sweet lady
Prof. is so helpful and genuinely cares about her students. An A is easy to get if you just put in the work.
She is a wonderful professor! I failed math horribly the first time and was worried I would fail it again. But she explains everything clearly and genuinely wants to help her students. She gives many extra credits and will help you with any WebWork questions.Because of her I went from failing to getting 95s on exams. Definitely take her if you can!
One of the best professors you'll ever meet. Her explanations are easy to understand and if you don't understand something she is always glad to help you with it after class ends. The really only hard work you'll have to do is some webwork hw, studying before the tests (which are easy, but the final you'll have to study a little more)
Best math professor ever, she goes over anything you don't understand and makes everything super clear.
Such a nice professor. Genuinely cares and makes you understand calculus!! I was someone who was HORRIBLE at math and very nervous to take calc at baruch. Now I am getting above 90's and really understand everything. She is lovely.
The class might seem like a bit of a drag, but she's really there for you. She holds review sessions before every exam. The class is pretty fast-paced though; sometimes the homework will have questions on stuff that wasn't covered in class, so be prepared to research how to do it yourself. Textbook isn't mandatory, but might be helpful for methods.
Listen, this is Calc II. This is not an easy course and Baruch generally uses it to weed out the mice from the men. For starters, if you skip a lecture, you are screwed. It's a lot of ground to make up. The final is ridiculous and completely different from the semester exams. However, if you want to pass, then you better take her. Register early.
She's really nice and sweet. She really cares about her students. Posts class notes on blackboard. Her lectures seem endless, but she does go over homework questions and webwork questions as well as any questions anyone has. Only thing is that she is a little boring and gets off topic sometimes. Finds any chance to give you points so you will pass.
She's really there for you and posts so many notes on blackboard so if you skip you can look at them. She tells you what's gonna be on her test. I'm horrible in math but she was amazing!
By far one of the best professors I ever had. She emails all class notes to you at then end of each lecture and does not require anything from the textbook. Shes one of those that give you credit on a test for writing the answer and then crossing it out.
I REALLY don't understand the negative feedback for professor Materowski. She literally slaves away for her students, in my 4 semesters at Baruch never has a professor tried to make sure everyone did their best. Lectures are good, notes are even better, holds reviews, gives extra credit, curves, and makes sure you learn something.
She is one of the best professors in Baruch, she makes everything crystal clear easy to understand and really made me confident in math. She really wants you to do well and puts in lots of effort. There should be more professors like her. I wish I had her for 2205 as well.
Good professor. However, she speeds up too fast during her lectures. She should have made sure if the students understand the material but I'm surprised nobody in her class has questions. If you need help, she will be happy to during office hours. But she is fine. Exams cover what she goes over in the class.
Really good teacher who respects her students. Math is always hard, take it someone that will make it a little bit easier.
She is truly passionate about teaching and is willing to go that extra mile to help you. Even if you are really dumb in math, as long as you pay attention to her lectures, you'll do fine. I don't recommend missing her lectures though. Each lecture is packed with useful informations, and if you miss one, you're screwed,
She is a sweetheart! No matter how stupid your question sounds she will handle it with respect and will answer you at all costs. Her tests are exactly the same as the material she teaches in class, no surprises.
absolutely no reviews for the midterms/final. also, expect a lot of hm on web assign. i wouldnt take her again
Professor Allen is truly a great professor. She really cares about her students' grades and will do her hardest to boost them. No participation required and took attendance twice. Don't miss a lecture! She is very passionate about the subject and will randomly compare calculus concepts to real life things. Get ready to hear about the sea lion trick.
Don't get the hype. All she does is rush through the material and throws notes at the class. The class is then forced to learn it on their own. This is a self study course and its calculus, so good luck.
If you have issues with math take her! She is the best professor at Baruch she truly cares about her students. She knows her math and she will work with you until you learn it. She makes all the notes from class available online. She prepares you for the final and for life. She explains real life applications for what we are learning. She the best!
She's really nice and sweet. She really cares about her students. Posts class notes on blackboard. She rush over the material but she goes above and beyond to help you with any questions after class.
She is the best professor in Baruch. She goes above and beyond her call of duty and treats her students with respect, care and sweetness. Her exams are a bit challenging but are very fair if you put in the work. She is a shining beacon for Baruch and a truly rare find when it comes to professors.
Great math professor!!! Best math professor Baruch has to offer. Very helpful and fair. If her class is open, and you dont choose her, you will be making a big mistake
simply amazing. quiz every week. Tests are hard but prepares you for the final. Tests 51%, hw&quiz 16%, final 33%. EC is exam corrections & similar problems. She really cares for her students & will go the extra mile if you need any help. Prior experience and her curves helped me barely pass. totally would take her again. She is worth it.
I cannot believe how awesome professor Allen was. It was my best decision to take her for this course. MTH 2205 is not the easiest subject, but like someone else said before, she makes it easier. She's a sweet, caring and fantastic lady. A must take!!
A^2M is a really sweet lady. MTH 2205 is not an easy class. She tried to ensure that students understood the concepts, but this led her to have to rush at the end of the lecture. Despite this, her videos on blackboard are phenomenal, and I used them to study for all the tests. She really does care and, is always available to help her students.
By far the best math professor in Baruch. Professor Allen really does everything to make sure her students succeed. She goes in depth with everything, and her notes are very clear. She makes sure to go over all the homework problems. Her tests are pretty straightforward and similar to what you'll find on the final. She really is amazing.
AWESOME. Had her for Calc 2. I mean pure awesomeness.
She is a really good professor. She explains MTH 4110 very well. Her lecture is very clear. She uses technology to improve her lecture. She use ONE NOTE to write math notes and explain it, and posted her notes on Blackboard after the class. That's pretty cool teaching way. Yep, she assigns a lots of homework, but math need practices.
Best professor ever
Updated. She's a sweet professor who sacrifices a lot for her class. She utilized technology to help us understand concepts, but at times overcomplicates the material. Homework intensive, but its good intention. A lot of work to do but then again its calculus at Baruch. If you can handle pressure and pay attention online, you can do well.
Amazing professor she really cares about her students and tries her best to set them up for success. Every lecture is recorded and there are so many resources on Blackboard. A good amount of homework but she pushes the due dates a lot. Tests are pretty simple (3 midterms, 1 final) and there is always an extra credit question at the end. Take her!
Best professor ever. I took Calc I two years ago, and I was never lost in this class because she's so amazing. Lots of homework, but she'll push the deadline if you need it. Clear grading criteria, tests are just like her practice tests, and she is always accessible outside of class to help with anything if you might need it. 10/10 recommend.
she is honestly a good professor. Although I did not do well on the final it's not her fault I needed to study more. Her videos are very helpful and she pushes deadlines to help her students. She's the sweetest math professor I have ever had. Taker her if you can she's amazing you won't regret it.
She's really sweet, she takes her time to explain things but one major concern is she does go a little too slow. Luckily she has videos online that you could speed up. This class was difficult, and the Departmental final was a huge pain but you only need 50% to pass, and she really does try her best.
It is an ok class. Although she does try to teach, she goes over the class time limit which is annoying. She is easy to reach outside of class. The course is tough but it is one of those classes where you teach yourself. She can push back due dates for students and is understanding. Wouldn't take it again because it is like I'm teaching myself
She is the sweetest teacher I have ever met. If I could give this woman a hug, I would. I am still taking her class and tbh I don't pay attention much which is why I'm not doing too well but she teaches pretty well. She does rush a bit tho. She answers questions and stays a little after class if you want her. If you pay attention, you will do good
Shes very sweet and a great teacher. I wish this class was in person probably would have more time to go over material. Wish I could take her again but her classes are online. Very caring. Not a tough grader, would postpone due dates without any problem. Adds up 3% extra credit assignments to boost grades for each exam which are not hard at all
She's very sweet and considerate. Does have a tendency to get a little off topic on lectures, but always makes sure to first cover the basics in a helpful manner. Tests were fair, not too many but few enough that you won't learn anything. Great professor overall!
The professor is really good at teaching, she uses technology to help students get the gist of a concept. She gives a decent amount of homework and often extends deadlines to help students catch up. Her exams were fair and the final was decent which was departmental. I recommend anyone who needs to take this course to take her!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Third and last attempt . . . First two attempts were with a different professor(got F for first; dropped for second). Thank you so much to Professor Materowski and the SACC tutors. I can't believe I got an A in addition to passing. It's been an honor to pass your class.
Is this class easy? No, but this professor does everything to help her students. We were given an opportunity to get a few points of extra credit on exams. She always responds to her emails. Exams were fair, no "surprise" questions if you do the practice exams that the professor posts. I highly recommend taking calculus with Professor Materowski.
Having online so far has been great. She has been teaching us so much and makes the lessons a lot easier to learn then from other professors. Precalculus is hard and very grueling but she tries her best to make it fun and it works! I recommend you take her.
She's very good professor
Amazing professor, made precalculus class fun and easy
Literally the Greatest Professor of All Time! Math is a subject I absolutely despise and when I had to retake the class I was dreading it but when I met Professor Allen, I grew a love for it and have done amazing so far. If you can take her!
This class really should not be taken online. If you actually want to learn calc and succeed take the class in person and it will click a lot easier. The professor is not necessarily bad but her online teaching style is difficult to digest. If you look for a short concise videos to help you learn this is not the professor for you.
Great professor that cares for students' success and provides lots of materials to help. Always open for students to reach out through email.
Finally done with this class! After I dropped MTH 2003 in my first semester, I thought I would never pass until I met Professor Allen. She was so caring and helpful towards my goal of passing and when I got the news I passed I was happy. She offers lots of review for test which makes it impossible to fail. If you need to take this class, take her.
She never replies to emails. And I'm not the only one, my friends say the sam thing. Actually never responded to not even one email this whole semester. We had an exam where there was music playing in the classroom the whole time, and she did nothing to make up for it. Throws the biggest curveballs on exams. She acts nice, but. doesn't care one bit
Don't take this class online! April is very kind and considerate. She allows extensions, but her material for chapters can be very confusing to navigate. She provides answers to problems, but they can be not enough when you are looking at them directly. She goes off-topic a lot and over class time. She posts a lot of recordings of a single class.
Excellent proffesor, and very caring. Almost everything other people said is true, the online class can be difficult to understand if you don't pay attention or if you don't do your part. However, she gives lots of extensions, has multiple office hours, one time she didn't sleep to give us and her other classes review time for the test.
April's teaching style can be confusing, but Unstuck AI helped me stay on track. Take this in-person if you can - the online version is a challenge.
shes a good professor, chatty, i think she means well, you can meet with her outside of class, helpful, online. tests inperson, practice tests , she has available in the one note she shares, i recc her lesson plans videos before going into class, in the one note. She goes fast but u need to put in the effort. USE the ONENOTE Material link!!!!!!!!
Such a nice professor. She explains everything very clearly and shows that she cares for students. The grading is super lenient too. Points are still given even if the answer is wrong as long as you showed work that you tried. Three tests and one final exam but she gives practice tests which are similar to the real ones.
She is a great professor and wants you to do really good in her class. She gives different examples of doing a equation which might make it confusing. She gives lot of credit which will really help you for your final grade
