She is probably the nicest professor I ever had! However, she tend to just memorize the whole textbook (which is impressing), but her lectures easily becomes a bit long as she is really passionate about economics. On the other hand, she really wants you to well and you will most likely never have a professor that will help you like she do.

Extremely nice professor who honestly just wants you to succeed. Fair marker and always assures students she is there for help when you need it. She is passionate about what she does. But, the lectures are very long and some material should be simplified.

If you wish to understand how economics work, Aqeela puts her hard work into making sure everyone understands the material! She is always available for questions outside of class, and will remember who you are, because she cares for you to succeed and she will go outside of her way to make sure you do. If you participate in class you will do great!

Cares about the students and making sure they get the grade they deserve even if she doesn't come across as that at the start. Mastered how to make the students understand the concepts through frequent mini quizzes and assignments.

Really cares whether you understand the information, gives quizzes and handouts in class and most of the time the questions will be on the exam. Also use the study guide it can help with the questions in exams as well. She teaches slowly but very well.

Very nice, caring and understanding. She wants to make sure everyone understands the material, gives handouts and worksheets to work on every lecture that helps understand course material which is also on most of her quizzes/exams. She explains the matter well, just like how the textbook would. 10/10 would recommend!

I took her micro and marcoeconomics in the first year. She is a very nice teacher. I'm an international student, and there are some language problems when I study, but Aqeela helps me a lot when I ask her help to solve my problem. I always email her to ask for help in study problems, and she replys me so fast, I want to choose her course again!

She really cares about her students and gives good feedback about any question. She give a quiz every class to make attendance mandatory, and likes very detailed reponses, making it hard to get everything 100% right. I would recommend her if you want to learn, but be prepared to work for it.

I highly recommend first year students to take ECON class with her. She is a good professor and the tests are not difficult if you study.

Probably the best professor at Humber College. I took the Micro and Macroeconomics classes with her and passed with an A in both. She's extremely clear about the concepts and is always ready to help out her students. The only time you'll have difficulty in her class is when you slack off. Come to class, do the handouts and you'll be fine.

Aqueela is brilliant, sometimes its hard to keep up with her but she will go over things and explain further if you ask her, HIGHLY recommend to attend every class and be attentive, shes tough but I dont think any other teacher is better prepared to teach you economics

You do not need textbook if you study PPTs, handouts, ICEs, and exam reviews which she gives them to you. For sure you will pass the course with good mark if you study all these. Don not hesitate to ask your questions from her, she so nice and patient.

Testing is not at all a surprise and based on Powerpoint lectures. Gives good feedback, is extremely accommodating and is passionate about the material.

Definitely be prepared to work hard if you're not economically-oriented, she doesn't dumb down materials but is always accessible by e-mail or after class for additional help.

Considering the difficulty of the course itself, Aqeela does an amazing job at setting up the course in a way that students actually learn. There is an in-class group quiz at the start of every class (it helps to keep you up to date). She's very caring, and she is always willing to help. 100% recommend over other econ teachers, from what I've heard

She makes sure you understand the concepts which gives the impression that she really cares about your success. She treats everybody with respect. No question is stupid with her. Lots of group work. There is an in class assignment at the beginning of every class where you are able to work with a group. Other group assignments as well. Awesome!!!!!!

Aqeela is a great professor. She really cares about her student's understanding of the concepts and doing well. Her class is set up with a quiz at the beginning of class and then she walks you through new theories. This is a good way for students to learn and test themselves. She is honestly a really good professor. A bit monotonic, but you can tell she knows what she is doing. She makes you work for your marks which I think is a good thing. If I ever have to take another ECON class, I'd be sure to take her!

I had her for ACCT1000, which she has only taught a couple times as it isn't her specialty. She really takes the time to review the course material and understand it so she can explain things properly. She is very caring and nice. She always reviews material from previous weeks and provides additional practice questions that are very helpful.

Teaches at her best abilities, takes into consideration students feedback, solves doubts and gives marks.

Overall she is a good teacher. The macro course is not easy and was a challenge for me but she was always available to answer my questions after class and she answered my emails promptly. She is supportive when her students need help.

I took her accounting class, the lectures was boring, but she is amazing and she wants students to succeed and pass the course. I would loved to take her ECON class but it got full so quick.

I genuinely had a fantastic experience in this class. Whenever I felt in the dark with the material she was able to explain anything in full depth. Great lectures, concise. Quizzes were self explanatory if you did the PowerPoints. I hope I have her in the future for other courses.

She is great. You have to pay for the textbook tho to receive the weekly questions, which I found to be annoying. The midterm and the final were on the computer and were relatively easy.

I don't understand any negative review for Aqeela. She sometimes does talk about her life, but she teaches clearly and makes sure you fully understand the concepts before class ends by giving 4-5 examples. As long as you study and do the homework, you're good to go. She's also very helpful if you get confused on a test or assignment.
