Professor Norwood was a great professor. Talks about topics in-depth and never leaves you with questions. Tells jokes at the end of the class and is a very fun professor.

I really liked this class, for a business class it was a little political. Nevertheless, it was very easy and he grades very fairly. I highly recommend you take class with Professor Norwood as I have only gotten As both times I've had him.

He really seems to care about his classes and our future. He talks about things that matter and help you rather than the junk straight out of the given curriculum.

I really recommend taking notes while he is talking because I waited till the end which put pressure on me. He doesnt teach from the textbook but thats where the exam questions come from. He teaches more about the history of business rather than the aspect of it

We had a three-hour-long zoom meeting every week, in which attendance is mandatory. Lectures were unnecessarily long, but I still enjoyed the subject matter. We only had four tests and a learning journal to complete for this class. Funny guy! He also provides extra credit.

Perhaps the only thing that I found negative was that most of the videos we had to watch took on a very conservative/right-wing perspective, and so I wish we learned more about other perspectives. By far my favorite class that I have taken, I would take this class again if I could and reccomend it to anyone that is wanting to really learn about topics and idea that will really change your perspective. Not only do you cover the basics of business but you also explore various values and ethics that are essential to your growth as a student and a potential business owner. Hes talks A lot but a lot of it is good advice and knowledge. His lectures are somewhat heavy, again with a lot of info so take notes. He asks to always keep your camera on which is the first professor I had to have it mandatory. I enjoyed the videos the most. Canvas isnt much help with his class. Almost everything is through student email.

Taking this class was a real pleasure, it is much more than just showing up to get a grade. His lectures actually provided value and looking back on it I am very grateful because I feel like I have actually grown a lot from it. He talks about a lot about persceptive and you do gain new persceptives on some many different topics past business.

Professor Norwood's BUS 100 course was very informative and insightful into various real world topics. He covered several business icons as well as their methods and habits to success and life. A very down-to-earth professor and always includes some sort of humor during his class!

I'd have to say Professor Norwood was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. The textbook was mandatory and so was participation. This class is incredibly hard to fail as long as you come to class and participate. I took this class online though I wish I'd experienced this in person. Be prepared for his humor and jokes!

Hes an overall good person and cares for his students, he helped me get my grade back up when I had family issues.

Exams are worth 40% of grade and are open-book. All the questions are taken word for word from the textbook. Discussion Assignments are simple and worth 16%. Watch a video, write a paragraph, and respond to 2 people w/ a paragraph. Longest vid was 45 min, shortest 15 min. Course Assesment is 12% of grade and is the most time consuming. Ez A+ class!

Very chill class and easy assignments noting hard at all. Do the work and you will pass. Hes a great teacher and is very helpful. I would retake his class again.

Overall good professor essay do at the end of semester. Test are open book but I took the class online. Questions are easy you just have to find the answer. Weekly discussions that you must reply to two people. Class was very easy sometimes during lecture you would break into groups. Would take his class again for sure.

Professor Norwood is a pretty good professor, he does not assign many assignments. The only advice is always to double-check when the initial post is due for the discussion posts. All exams were open book. A case study is required for a final assignment.

Easy class for the most part, lectures were boring and have camera on zoom, 4 tests open book, lectures have nothing to do with test so you really dont have to pay attention on zoom, attendance big part of grade, very annoying about doing a rate my professor review for him , he sent at least 4 emails saying to do it.

Professor Norwood guides you through entrepeneurship, which I've seems a rarity even with business focused classes. He brings on reputable guests for some of his lectures, and they give great insight for running an online business from the ground up. Lectures provided lots of insight and new skills, but some were branched towards politics.

As long as you let him know of what is going on he is pretty chill. He also gives life advice. Each week is lectures and notes so as long as you watch the lecture and write notes you should be good.

If you're thinking about taking this class go for it. You have enough time to do everything. Profesor grades usually the same day and gives great feedback. He is also very funny and his classes are a little different from other business classes, the way he describes everything using examples is very helpful.

The only problem I had was that he accidentally dropped me so by the time I got the appeal to get back into the class he did not allow me to retake the quiz which gave me a 0 which truly didn't make sense. Ara Norwood takes time to give insightful comments in class which I appreciated. He is definitely a jokester, adds jokes to his presentations. The work is explained well and even though the class was all online, he gave us an opportunity to know him through his videos.

Attendance is mandatory! He teaches personal ideology's to consider when entering business more then actually teaching business. The test are open book on the some of the more detailed business topics. I think this is a good thing overall, because it lets you ease into the major rather then sending you all in.

Professor Norwood was an amazing instructor to have for my Introduction To Business, He really breaks things down bit by bit including assignments, quizzes and exams that will be due he is incredibly genuine and wants his students to excel he just expects you to put in the work!

Professor Norwood is one of the best, if not the best, professors I have ever had. His lectures are very enganging and easy to understand. He does not leave you confused. He has a lot of allocades when it comes to business therefore learning from him is an honor.

The structure of the class was very easy to follow and insightful! The added humor in the modules also made the class engaging.

He is an impressively knowledgeable man, and he is able to provide great information. He does often go on about some things, and the workload can be tough if you put it off to the last few days. BUS100 is not a hard class to get a good grade from him, but definitely one that takes effort to understand well.

I took his 8 week course, super easy. He assigned learning journals every week that would have all of the lectures, videos, or anything you would need to read for the week. The lectures and videos would sometimes be long and there would be multiple long ones but I didn't mind since the course was easy. Exams were open book and multiple choice.

Professor Norwood's Business 100 class not only teaches you the fundamentals of business, but also makes you more curious as to why things are the way they are. He's a professor that is both professional and also genuinely cares about the students he mentors along with our perspectives. I would highly recommend his class to anyone.

Professor Norwood by far has been my favorite professor that I have had. From the beginning he sets clear expectations. Read the instructions and do exactly what he asks for and you will get full credit. The reading requires about 1 hour a day for at least 5 days per week. (for me at least). As long as you do the reading you will succeed!

This class will be challenging because you must read 12 chapters of the assigned book a week at a time, plus the rest of the material.

Politics will come up fairly often (you have to watch PragerU vids every week), but you are free to disagree with him. He will often respond to Learning Journals with in-depth feedback.
