Aram does not use textbooks. Instead he prepares the classes ahead of time from his personal knowledge and shows information visually with simple graphs and pictographs. Excellent instructor for people who learn best in an interactive classroom with visual information.

Prof Chavez is an excellent instructor who will keep you interested and entertained. He's funny, knows his subject matter and provides plenty of real world examples. For a subject that could be quite political, he is skilled at leaving politics to the side and teaching only the facts. I highly recommend this instructor!

I have now taken "Señor Chavez" for two courses at ASU and both have been amazing. If not, it will still be interesting as Professor Chavez rips items from the headlines and discusses them, and will ask you to do the same in discussions. He is very knowledgeable and well prepared; most of the lectures flow right from his own experiences.

Awesome Professor I wish I had him for all my classes

This was a required course for my major. I honestly did not have an interest in International Business and feared this class would be boring. However, Senor Chavez made it worth while. I am an online student and I viewed recordings of his on campus lectures. The lectures were definitely not boring and helped me to understand the material.

Lectures sometimes lack focus and cover redundant topics. Course is theory based so grading and passing is simple. Useful information on topic though.

He is the man

I've had Senior Chavez for two classes and can honestly say that his lectures are more interesting than any other class I've had. He relates the content to current events, his life, students lives and avoids assigning "busy" work. He is clear with expectations and more than willing to share his vast knowledge and experience.

The class doesn't have a ton of homework, so you will be able to pass if you simply attend, pay attention, and allow yourself to learn. His feedback and lectures are something you can't necessarily get from a textbook. I highly recommend his class. No tests, only weekly quizzes and discussion. Approachable and easy to talk to.

Prof. Chavez was fantastic! By far one of the BEST professors I've had at ASU. His extensive knowledge was remarkable. His personal insight & experience not only strengthened the material, it solidified the reason I chose Technological Entrepreneurship as my major. 5 hours of lectures a week that are a must to do well on the tests, clear & reasonable tests, and easily accessible for questions. The best real word finance class there is. Full of insight, encouragement and valuable information. The most valuable class of my college career.

Señor Chavez has great, very real-world applicable lectures. You need to watch every one of them to understand the quizzes/tests later. Very reasonable workload but you learn a lot in his class and he'll keep you laughing during the lectures.

Senor Chavez is an engaging teacher with a wide range of knowledge. If you have the opportunity to take any of his courses you should. Great lecturer and fair on quizzes and exams. If you take good notes his classes are a breeze but if you don't you better pray for a photographic memory.

Wow, take his class. You will learn so much about the real world examples he provides. He is very passionate so he tends to talk about a few different topics at once, that cause him to lose his train of thought, but overall, he is the best professor I have ever had. Really Great Class! Sometimes professors bog you down with so many requirements that you can't seem to learn actual content. This class gave you work that you could research and actually learn instead of hurrying so you can get to the next assignment.

Senor Chavez is a knowledgeable professional both as an instructor and beyond the classroom. Generous and very explanatory with both academic theory and real-world experience. Note of caution: Go to class, and take and use your own notes. You'll refer back to them later.

Senor Chavez was an exceptional speaker and was able to clearly relate topics he brought up in class and use them in a real world setting. He was very knowledgeable about the subject matter and was able to answer questions with ease. I liked his class because he broadened my world view and taught us things that we'll be able to use in real life.

Senor Chavez is by far my favorite professor at ASU. This was the second class I've taken with him and I was not disappointed. There are lectures to watch each week and a quiz at the end of each week. The quizzes take some time to complete, but they are not timed. Relevant material and would highly recommend.

Senor Chavez demonstrates that he genuinely knows what he's talking about through his experiences. It was always interesting to hear how class topics relate to actual things he's encountered. Señor Chavez classes have good lectures, he is busy but available and you must stick with it. His experience is what sets him apart and make this one of the best classes I attended in the TEM major. Online students must take the time to talk with instructors/peers, Aram is one not to miss as you develop those relationships.

Online lectures are some of the best I've watched. He's a really engaging speaker and is quick and to the point while still getting solid information across. I would like to take his class in person. My only annoyance was that he took a long time to grade assignments. Overall, I enjoyed the course and learned a lot w/o tons of "busy work".

Not only is Chavez is a very successful individual, but, all of his teaching material is self-learned from his own real-world experience. I have never had a class where if I was sick or class was canceled that I would legitimately be bummed out. Every single lecture is an eye-opening experience of how the business world really works. Professor Chavez is a real-life experienced entrepreneurship professor at Polytech. It has been a great pleasure to know him on a professional level. He spends an extra half an hour outside class to answer all your question every time without any hesitation that you will want to get to know and ask for help if you are serious about your startup.

The ease of use in the Course

Professor Chavez is fantastic. He is hard to meet with in person outside of class because of how busy he is but in class he is engaging and dynamic. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn. He has been one of if not my absolutely favorite all time professors. Don't be afraid of his loud voice or forward nature, he'll grow on ya.

Great professor that teaches from real-world experience. Although one piece of criticism is some classes seemed "freestyled" and could have been planned out better. Some days there's a lot of notes but other days I had less than half a page of notes.

**TAKE THIS CLASS HONEST REVIEW** I would classify myself as a B letter grade student who is just trying to find the easiest but most interesting classes. The final for the online course is going to be all your notes from day 1. Quizzes are an easy A if you watch the fun lectures. Yellowdig participation is necessary, but offers interesting topics.

This is the first time I have had Aram Chavez. He brings a great deal of insight to the coursework. His final exam was a pleasant surprise, but took some dedicated effort. His interest is in the student's ability to understand the material, and he has an easy-going and simplifying way of approaching the material. His lectures prove very useful.

Great Class would take again

Not your typical professor. He has shaped my understanding of business and is very real. Not an academic. Gives it in plain language from EXPERIENCE. Take very good notes though as that is one of the largest grades in any of the classes I have taken with him. Recommend taking a course with him if it was required or even for elective credit.

It was my second class with Senior Chavez. He is a great professor because he cares about the development of his students. His lectures are interesting and understandable. He also only requires one assignment a week! Would definitely recommend taking his course!

Professor Chavez is really a great professor. He gives you real world advice. His lectures consist of videos he makes. Take notes throughly, at the end of the course the final exam is a collection of those notes. He isn't a tough grader just be very specific on your answers. Not proctored. Overall he is wonderful and a blessing for your grade.

Simply the best online class I have ever taken. his lectures are amazing. The grading is easy and though the class had some technical issues on canvas, I enjoyed it and would 100 percent take it again, and again.

Will be the best decision of your life. I had his in-person classes in my previous terms. I recommend taking his in person class if you have a choice as his online class had some technical issues every week, but they fixed them every week too. Not his fault, the technology team at ASU was responsible. His lectures, beautiful!

TMC 320 is a great class with engaging lectures. While there were some technical issues, using unstuckstudy AI and the provided materials made it an easy A. Definitely worth taking, especially in-person if possible.
