I took the online MATH 1324. Not difficult at all. If you get stuck you can watch the lecture videos or double check your work with the key. There were discussion posts and test projects in addition to the tests.

I HIGHLY recommend you take Professor Bercu, he is such a great professor and easy as well. As long as you do your weekly hw, discussions you will be perfectly fine. His exams are not difficult and as well he drops the lowest test grade at the end of the semester. TAKE HIM, TRUST ME. I finished the class with an A

Professor Bercu is good at explaining calculus II concepts through his videos but I personally did not feel like I learned anything after this class. The quizzes and exams were general FRQ type questions that one could easily secure points on by being thorough or regurgitating any topics he covered in his videos. I wish his tests were specific qs.

One of the best professors I have ever taken! If you can, take him!! Not easy easy but getting an A should not be hard. Just do the assignments given and you will do great! Also, he does not have a textbook. He makes this class affordable and has lecture videos from houston math prep. All his videos/notes correspond to exams and homeworks!

He explains the work well and he also posts the answer to the homework online so that you can make sure you are doing it correctly. I took the 3 wk mini and it was quite a lot of material, I would recommend taking the regular semester if you have trouble with math.

Gives 100's for just doing the work, completed or not. Answers are on the homework. 4 exams; essay style. He is picky when grading the exams. Has weekly web meetings where he will answer any questions and goes over exams prior. A few discussion posts that aren't challenging. Not the best to replying to emails. All in all, easy class.

This class was straightforward. If you do the work you can expect to do well. High quality online videos that explain well. Organized and easy to tell what is due each week. Had all my email questions answered super quick. Makes it very understandable. Would recommend especially for this level of math.

The topics are explained really well and the homework answers are in each assignment so you can see whether or not you're getting the right answer or need to ask for help. There was a course project that was actually interesting and made the class applicable. The final exam was very reasonable and a couple of the assignments were extra credit.

The amount of work required each week was not bad, discussion posts weekly on things that were useful, easy to figure out the class, answered my HW questions quickly, recommend!

This was my best college math class ever! As part of the class we got to make a study guide for remembering how to do the stuff from calc2. It was a graded project and it'll come in handy for my phys and eng classes. Videos were easy to understand. Take.

This course with this professor is not bad at all. There is hw each week with weekly discussions, but his Youtube videos help so much as a lecture tool. There are three exams and the final which consists of around 20 questions each. He does weekly meetings if anyone needs help with hw. In addition, he provides a few extra credit. I would take him.

Best math class ever, not a ton of pointless work, decent amount of HW though. Spends a LOT of class going over HW questions. 3 exams, 2 projects. Tests were a lot like the HW. Really smart and relatable dude.

I have always struggled with math pretty much my entire life, yet Aran, really helped me understand and break down everything one by one. The class has 3 tests, 7 in-class work, 7 hw's, 2 projects, and a final. All which he helps you prepare for, the test are similar to the hw so that helps a lot when studying. Best math professor!!

This Professor knows his job really well. I took the 3 week mini-mester, and he was really clear, lectures were amazing, and most of the H.W questions were discussed in class. He also gave a good review for the tests and told us about what to expect. His assignments were somewhat lengthy but easy to do.

An amazing professor! He truly made Cal2 a breeze. Very easy to follow lecture on his YouTube channel with bunch of examples. No EXAMs, instead we had to do a course project which is basically explaining the whole course in our personal way. Best math professor so far, Highly recommend!!

I took Aron for a 3 week mini and got a 100 on his first test, 108 on his second and a 107 on his last test! TAKE HIM he is very good at explaining and connecting the lecture to real life. just pay attention and go to class and you can literally get a good grade in his class!!!!!!!

Very good professor , he made everything clear in the syllabus , as long as you follow it youre good . he gave a fair amount of homework . he gives extra credit . For an online class he made it very smooth and he was always ready to help .

All I did was put in the time to do the HW and understand the HW. Everything else just fell in place from there. He answered email immediately and explained clearly when I was stuck. Some weekly discussions. Exams are easy if you did the HW and review it even just a little.

Class is very manageable. Makes his own videos. No textbook required. Videos make most of the HW easy. For the ones you get stuck on just email him and he'll work stuff out and give hints at his weekly Q&A session. Q&A is recorded so you can still get help if it doesnt work with your schedule. Essay exams that check for your comprehension. Easy.

Very straightforward, responds to emails, and a light grader. Homework about every week and the videos he has are very comprehensive and well done. The only thing about the class is that the 2 exams (midterm and final) are in essay format. Very strange and a little challenging to write about algebra but if you know your stuff you'll be fine.

The professor is good-natured and understanding. I took him for Cal II & III. He did not let us use calculators. The only things that decide your grade are exams. He just tells you the exact format that the exam is gonna follow. Be sure to do all the HW. The HW is his own worksheets, no MML or anything. Recommended.

Hands down one of the best math professors at LSC. Explains concepts very well and his grading system is straightforward. He makes his own homework sheets (no MyMathLab) and spends a lot of time reviewing problems with the class. There were three oral exams and an in-person final (all easy), and he offers extra credit. Highly recommend his class!

All exams except final were oral and there was a focus on being able to explain concepts and applications rather than doing written problems. Very clear lectures and grading feedback. We were encouraged to ask homework questions and he always was very clear on assignment criteria. Class was an easy A in my opinion.

I loved how he displayed the information and weekly material throughout the course. No +platform was needed since all the homework is sent on D2L and the topics are explained on his Yt channel. Personally, the homework load is not overwhelming at all. He takes the time to meet with his students weekly to clear any information and answer questions.

This professor is very helpful and understanding. You must complete all the work for credit and he will give bonus points for the completion of HW. (not optional) If you struggle with math take him and use the Lone Star tutoring services and you can also email him. He usually responds within a day or two. Don't wait until the last minute!

I sent Professor Bercu a few hw questions each week and he always answered in the first couple hours. It was really easy to get help and the class was set up really clear. There is a bonus hw that can help make up for if you have a life emergency during the semester. Clear ahead of time what will be on the exams. Recommend this class!

I took this professor's linear algebra and D.E. course during the summer and I never felt the workload was heavy. He creates his own homework which has roughly 10 questions and he has no test. The midterm and final consist of essay style questions of your understanding of the course material. Each question just needs 5 sentences though.

The professor has strict deadlines but the work is really easy to get done. There is a SIR model project which consisted of excel spreadsheets and an essay. There are no tests, only essay style questions. There is only a final where you must write 5 sentences per question, but he gives them to you in advance. He is helpful outside class.

Professor Bercu is incredibly helpful and makes the material very clear. Homework is manageable, and he provides great review before exams. I found unstuck ai a useful supplement for study prep. Definitely take this class if you need a math credit!

He's one of the best professors I've ever had. Very clear lectures and takes time to explain prerequisite material. Makes his own homework problems so no need to pay for MML, and spends a LOT of time going over them at the start of class. He tells you exactly what questions are on each exam and always offers extra credit. Made calculus 3 a breeze.

I had Professor Bercu in Fall 2024, and the course included weekly homework assignments, three projects, three exams, and a final exam. Even though math isn't my strong area, I learned so much in this class. He is organized and extremely helpful. If you have the opportunity to take his class, I strongly recommend it!

Calc 3 had a lot of concepts to absorb. Prof Aran broke things down in a way that was easy to understand. I learned how to really think about math for the first time even though it's my last math class. He's very generous with time in class to go over HW questions. There was no textbook to purchase. Final can replace one of the other exams. Take!

There's 11 HW's (Last one serves as bonus), 4 Discussions, 3 Excel Projects (It tells you step-by-step what to do), 3 Exams and 1 Final. Honestly for business math, it is by far one of the easiest classes ever! Each HW is covered by well detailed videos, with half of the answers being an answer key and the other half "do it on your own."

Professor Bercu was hands down one of the best online professors I have ever had! A very clear timeline is provided and you have access to everything you need. You don't need to purchase a textbook either! Math was never my strong suit, but I really enjoyed this class thanks to Professor Bercu, absolutely an amazing professor!

Gives extremely clear instructions for almost everything, most of the work is easy if you just listen to the youtube videos, also I believe he grades homework purely based of submission, rather than correct answers? I had one HW I knew I had at least 2 problems wrong, and got full credit. He does everything but communicate very well.

Only about half way through the class I'm confident to give a review. The d2l is the most organized class ever. There's nothing to buy for hw. You learn everything through his youtube and videos are easy to understand. I've emailed questions and have always gotten answers in under an hour. Very nice professor.

I was nervous about taking this as a minimester, but Prof Bercu's online class is very clear about what is due when. Youtube vids and no Pearson thank god. Pretty much a couple of HWs, 1 excel, 1 discussion and an exam due each week. Organization of which videos go with what HW problems was extremely helpful. One of the HWs is bonus. Not difficult.

Just finished my final and the class was straight forward. It's easy to get more than 100 on your HW bc of bonus, and Prof Bercu was helpful and got on Zoom to help me when I was stuck. HW answers are posted that help too. Glad this class taught me some excel. I'd never used it and projects were not that hard. Exam guides are good. Awesome!

Prof Aran's a brilliant teacher and forgiving grader. Generous partial credit on all exams, bonus HW at end of the semester that's worth lots of points. I made over 100%. I stayed after class several times to ask about topics I'd seen videos on that were beyond our class. He always knew what they were and simple ways to explain them. Really good.

This class was super organized and it was easy to see what was due each week. Honestly relieved there was no Pearson for this class. Homework, 3 excel projects, and 3 exams. Bc the final exam replaced one of my other exams and the final HW is bonus, I ended up with 1017/1000 points. Easy.

I took linear alg before w another prof who made it unnecessarily difficult and had to drop—the difference here was night n day. Prof Bercu makes his own videos which get to the point about what you need to know. Quizzes were over ideas from the videos. Exams were essay which sounded terrifying at first but I didn't end up minding them in the end.

His teaching style is very clear and he answers questions well. He spends lots of class time working hw problems with you to make sure you can do them on your own. During reviews he chooses types of problems from the hw that will be asked on the exam. There are no surprises on exams. Bonus hw at the end of the semester and bonus questions on exams.

Prof Bercu has been my best online professor so far! The weekly assignments are very clear. You have to do a few projects in Excel, but he gives you step by step instructions for how to complete them. I was glad to learn about how interest and payments for loans work in one of the projects. Math was never my strength, but I enjoyed this class!
