Im sorry but if a professor gives a 15 point curve on every test, THEYRE EASY. Look at it like this, you have a lab and HW grade to offset each test, even if you get the "average" 50, she curves it up 15, and now its a 65. Average the 65 with the 100 from lab/hw, thats an 82.5, a high B. (A is 85) This isnt that easy of a subject, WORK and SUCCEED

I had to take physics 3 times and she was the first teacher to actually give full and useful explanations on how to do the problems. She has homework as well as clickers and tests to help cushion your grades. The way lab worked when I took from her was different (I don't know if its her decision or not) but lab was fun! She takes time and helps!

I was unaware that our class combined lab and lecture in one sitting, so we basically sat in class for about 3 hours and sometimes that was all lecture. If you can manage to pay attention in class for those long 3 hours, you can easily get an A in this class (especially since an 88 is an A). This class is a good break from the super hard sciences.

Took physics 1 online with her overall great experience; with 6 mandatory in-person sessions. She gives free access to the book, but have to purchase PAL. Do the PAL! It helps your grades a lot. Do the study set questions; they help a lot on the Exam. Exams were taken in the EPC.

Physics is not my best subject but Professor Dubey really helped me learn physics. Lectures are decent. She will make sure you are paying attention. Go to office hours! She wants to help you learn! Grading scale is fair. Outside of exams there is plenty to boost your grade. If you want an A, you do have to work hard.

I have taken Dr. Dubey again for Physics II and she still does not disappoint. In fact, it was easier than Physics I in my opinion. Her grading scale is still lenient, office hours very helpful, and exams are fair. She also gave a lot of extra credit because she cares about our grades. However, do not underestimate it as you need to practice.

Took this class for the credit so I didn't study too much. Only really studied for one of the midterms and that was enough to pass the class. She let's you drop one of the midterms, minimum passing is 60%, & there was an extra credit opportunity on the final exam. She was a very lenient, the perfect professor if you're a working student like me.

Very sweet professor. The course is difficult but she is very willing to help! Homework is done online through an adaptive learning program and fairly easy to navigate.

Please take Dr. Dubey if you can. Whoever has written a bad review for her should just put the fries in the bag, because her class was very easy to get an A in. If you want to succeed on the midterm exams, do the study sets and PowerPoint questions. 16 multiple-choice questions—many of them were straightforward, in my opinion. Plus, an A is an 88%.

Dr. Dubey was the GOAT. I passed RS 2053 with a 97. The UTA was super helpful too. The tests were just the study sets with numbers changed. The TA said to practice them, and he wasn't lying. If you can't pass this class, you're on za. At that point, just put the fries in the bag and clock out. It's that easy.

You could tell from the first class how much Dr. Dubey cares about her students. She was easy to reach via Canvas messages, and frequently extended office hours to be more accessible to everyone. The course was very challenging, but her extra credit bumped me to an A. I seriously cannot recommend her enough.

Physics 2 with this professor is not bad. Keep in mind that exams are not heavily graded (36%). Make sure you know powerpoints and practice sets very well for exams. Extra credit quiz at end of semester worth about 15 raw points added to final exam. No textbook technically, but you need to purchase access code for PAL

Easy professor and class. Formula sheet is given for all exams and questions resemble practice problems. Pay attention to what she says during lecture. Exams are not weighted very heavily in the final grade calculation.

She was pretty good. She really wants you to pass, so she's open to office hours to help and such. Gives extra credit through surveys, I would definitely study graphs and such just to rack up points. I regret not doing that. Physics can be hard, bombed the final but was still able to pass with an A.

Professor Dubey was terrific. Great lectures, accessible outside of class, easy tests. Tests are based VERY heavily on homework assignments. I've heard from most people that physics II was way harder than I, but she made it feel way easier. Homework and online textbook are PHENOMINAL at teaching if lectures aren't for u. Tests aren't weighted heavy

Professor has an accent & uses microphone which makes it hard to understand her. I don't like her teaching style as she just reads the slides. Example problems are very rare so you must teach yourself all the material. Tests are similar to HW & worksheets. Labs were annoying as no schedule is given of when we'd be doing them. Grade scale is lenient

Professor was great. Class was reduced seating (RS) so only have a few lectures a semester which are graded for attendance. Do the quizzes before taking the exam they are super similar. Class is mostly self led learning.

This course material is difficult to begin with I get it. But the lack of study guides and communication and preparation for 5 exams in one semester is what made this class harder than it had to be. Locking quizzes and past exams that could've been used for review is immature and just why is what I ask. When she says final exam is cumulative it is.

The final exam was extremely difficult, and when I sent her an email asking about the average, she said she does not look at the averages and told me the final was not challenging if I learned the material, but most of the material was locked, and I couldn't go back to review any of it. Her email was aggressive and told me not to send any more.

I took Dr. Dubey for PHY 2053 and 2054, and she was amazing both times. The RS mode was super flexible while I managed 16 credits. To do well in her class, watch her Panopto lecture recordings and complete the study sets—they're very close to the real exams. Plus, an 88% is an A. She's also very caring and wants her students to be engaged in class.

Dr. Dubey taught physics in a way that you were essentially teaching yourself the content. Basically the entire class bombed the exams and final. Very disorganized schedule, no one knew when labs were. I am a CS major (so this class is required but not super important), but if you're a Physics or Engineering major, I suggest taking someone else.

Exams were entirely multiple choice, with no curve or partial credit. I found the exams very challenging, and based on conversations with classmates, many students struggled as well. Exam averages were not shared. I ultimately passed with a C, but decided to retake the course next semester with a different professor.
