Professor Cuadra is an incredible teacher! He uses personal stories and captivates the class with his lectures. He makes sure people understand and is willing to steer away from his original plan to interact with his students on gospel topics. He shows the study guide questions on the board at the beginning of class so be sure to be on time

Brother Cuadra is a top tier teacher! Attendance very important, as the exams are based off the lessons. He shows a slide with 5-6 questions that will be on the test at the beginning of each lecture. He has great insights, relies on scripture and modern prophets' words and is pretty funny too. Couple of essays as well. Highly Recommend!

Professor Cuadra is an amazing teacher! I definitely plan on taking another class from him. His attendance, though mandatory, is self reporting, and he gives a grace period. Be prepared for about 30 min of reading for homework. His assignments are so easy, and if you pay attention in class, so are his tests. The final was a bit harder though. 10/10

If you are looking for an easy religion class take it from Professor Cuadra. His lectures are engaging, funny, and he cares about his students. He cares more about you obtaining a testimony. Be early to class as he posts the study guide for the exam. I truly felt like he cared for me as his student and I felt the spirit during every class.

I loved this class! Ariel Cuadra is an amazing teacher and he knows the Book of Mormon so well. I feel like he cares for each of his students and their testimonies. I specifically loved how he uses his knowledge of Spanish (and Hebrew to an extent) to elaborate on meaning of scriptures and I feel like that added a lot of depth to the class.

Professor Cuadra does really well at connecting with all of his students and makes everything very clear. He repeats exactly what he is looking for on papers and how he will grade them. His lectures were always engaging and I was able to pull something out of every lecture. There was nothing on the exams that he didn't talk about in class.

My guy Ariel is the best. He's got a great sense of humor, and has a gift with teaching with the spirit. You write 2 short essay, 1 longer essay, and have a midterm and final in the testing center. He even made the 2 hour long Tuesday night class good enough that I kept showing up even when I was dying at the end of the semester.

He was comedic but still made the class spiritual. There are two small papers in the class and one major one closer to the end of the semester. Overall, great class would take again.

He gives questions at the beginning of every lecture as a study guide for the tests. So you have all the questions to the tests if you come to class. One of the assignments is to write questions based on the discussions. Then he adds some of those questions to the study guide to help keeping us engaged in the learning. This class helped me restore my faith in Jesus Christ. I was in a pretty dark spot in life before taking his class but because he preaches and centers his teaching on Christ so much I was able to recognize how to come back to Jesus . This class provided me with the skills to find Christ in the Book of Mormon. Easy assignments but required effort.

Professor Cuadra has a very unique approach to teaching. He is very knowledgeable about the Gospel and scripture. However, his teaching style doesn't always facilitate the spirit in way that was meaningful for me. Many students love him, and rightfully so. I just feel like the class was unnecessarily work heavy.

My internet went out during the final, so I couldn't finish. I emailed him for help and got a quick response that same Saturday morning—he even called to walk me through the rest so I could complete it. The class was clear, spiritual, and manageable. I learned a lot without feeling overwhelmed.

I really liked this class. It wasn't too much work, but I had to stay on top of things to get an A. There were three papers: two 1-page and one 3-4 page research paper. You keep a journal with insights from the readings and the class discussions, plus a midterm and final. 50% of the final was questions from the midterm. I had fun and learned a lot.

This class was really straightforward and enjoyable. Each lesson focused on readings from the Book of Mormon, which helped the material make sense and feel more meaningful. The assignments weren't too time consuming, and I felt ready for both the midterm and the final. I also gained a deeper understanding of Christ, which was really cool.

I loved having Brother Cuadra as my teacher. Every single time I walked out of class I had felt the Spirit in his class. You get the grade with the efffort you put in. It wasn't a crazy amount of reading and he has a clear grading system. He is very caring about all of his students and truly wants all of his students to leave with A's. 10/10

This guy knows his way around the scriptures. He plans lessons, but follows inspiration and can find a scripture reference for anything in any book of scripture. He also just loves teaching and he's good at it. Nothing terrible will happen if you just listen and keep up with readings.

I'm finishing up the pilot BOM class in Spanish, and it has been amazing. I am a junior and finishing up my religion credits, and this class with Hno Cuadra takes the top spot. He is super smart and an incredible teacher. Every class I laugh out loud, feel the spirit, and learn things I'm thinking about the whole day. I loved the small class size.
