Great teacher, dosent teach all material he puts on tests. Great guy to talk with, will inspire you to be a great student if you talk to him one on one alot.

Doctor D is a awesome teacher...will take him again. Demands a lot ...but it pays off and you will feel 1000x smarter than you are. Best ECON teacher @ KU.

This is a prof who knows the material and who can teach it very well. He motivates students to do better not just in class, but even in being more active on campus. He's a great guy, and very friendly. Just don't miss a class and get used to his acccent.

He will make you laugh, but is very dificult. Material covered in class is generaly very basic, yet the tests very complex, be sure to buy the study guide, he pulls questions from it. and study ALOT. but i think he is worth takeing

Dr. D teaches a very hard class. His tests for macro come right off the website, that's the only way I passed! Attendence is very important. I missed 3 classes and he said I had a chance of failing because of my tardiness....

This prof is not the easiest but he is one of the better ones here. His exams are hell but look over the material several times and you will do fine. Great guy, he is da bomb.

Hes a rigid guy. His class isnt very easy. But, he teaches, and he knows his stuff. Hard to understand him cause hes from India. A solid class, if you need to take it. if not, save your time.

Very hard class, but Dr. Daneshyar trys his best to make it easier. He shows that he really, truly cares about his students. He is also a very funny guy. I would LOVE to have him as a teacher on an easier subject.

Dr. D is the man! Don't listen to some of these comments. KU students want to have "a life" really means they are lazy. You can't be lazy - in anything.

very hard class, repetitive lectures in a stuffy room. overly serious. seems to play favorites a little. dont take this with him unless youre an econ major.

This guy gets a bad rap...a lot of people drop him after the first test or two, but that is a mistake...he gets easier after that, and his sense of humor actually makes sense, and the class becomes fun. Just show up on time and make it look like you care

Was skeptical at first, but after a couple months concluded hes not a bad guy. he knows his stuff, gives life long tips, and even cracks a couple jokes here and there. tests are tricky, must be on time, must look interested, and must care.overallgoodguy

go to class and you will get a good grade, if you do not go to class, you better participate in class discussions. Pay attention to him and he will like you and he'll help you whenever needed. i like the guy and enjoy taking his class, i would recomend it

He is a little hard to understand, but everybody needs to get off this mans back. He is honestly one of the coolest teachers I have had. He really cares if his students succeed and it breaks his heart when he sees students not trying to their fullest potential. To pass, show up to every class.

He may be hard, but hes an awesome guy and teacher. He knows his stuff and hes worked very hard to get where he is. I have a great respect for him.In his class I got one B and the rest D's and he still gave me an A.I highly recommend him.

Dont be late to class, do the reading, participate and show him respect because he deserves it. If you take him you wont regret it. He not only teaches economics, but lessons in life. He will help you to understand anything that you are having trouble trying to comprehend. Good man!!!

Not a "sit back and relax" class; he constantly calls on people for answers. Tests are very difficult and worded badly. Looks scary and mean but he's really devoted to students who ask for help. Be prepared to really read and study.

Wonderful person, can be funny at times but is all about teaching. He wants his student to know and understand. He enforces the ideal that education is the #1 factor in his life and should be the same for his students. He is very intelligent. If you ask for help he will be more then willing to help.

Go to every class! I failed every test and the final and I passed his class with a D. Very nice guy when you get to meet him. He doesn't tolerate tardiness so show up on time, participate, and go to every class and you will pass.

I think Professor Daneshyar is one of Kutztown finest professors. Yes he's hard!! but fair. His sense of humor is awesome. He beleives in being on time so go to class five mintues earlier, trust me if will benefit you in the long run. And do not miss a class for any excuse it can definitely hurt you

This man is the best teacher at Kutztown, is probably losing money by staying there, but he loves teaching too much. It is great to see someone who enjoys what he does, show him respect and he will respect you. He can sense when a class is not going well and will talk about life, I learned a lot about economics but also about life's lessons.

This guy can really put the info in front of students and help them to understand it. Hints: Be on time, read the book, take notes, ask questions, go to office hours. He's a great guy who cares about his students. Test end of each chapter makes it easier to get through the information in the class.

He's a really good prof. His tests are kind of hard, but if you really study, then you're ok. ALWAYS go to class, and get there on time (he HATES when you're late). The class is overall challenging, but if you read the book and take good notes and study, it's not bad.

Ok this class is NOT easy. Bus majors are told this is one of THE hardest courses you will take. It challenges your mind and makes you think outside of the box. Dr. D is a tough teacher but he is always open for you to ask him questions. Many people think he is too hard, but the material itself is complex. Not a bad professor, and attendence is key

Great teacher, Very passionate about education. Read the book and go to class you will do fine. He even specifies what you need to do to get an A. Test are ok if you pay attention in class & read the book. Lectures are just going over what you read in the chapter. Great educator in my opinion...had him at 8 in the morning and never fell asleep.

Dr. D is nothing short of a great professor. If you show up to every class, take down his notes, and read the chapter it's impossible to get anything less than a B for the year. He's also pretty funny.

He's a funny lil' guy from India. Willing to repeat material if you don't understand the first time. Some people said he was hard to understand because of his accent, I didn't have that problem. He won't fail you if you go to most of the classes.

The structure of the class on Semester at Sea dictates that most other professors give most of the lectures. The exams test to see how much one can memorize pointless numbers. Pop quizzes were given to check that one actually obeyed the mandatory attendance policy for the Global Studies class. The class was bad; professor has great personality.

Show up, pay attention, read the book, take his practice tests seriously and there is no excuse to not get an A. For starters he only tests one chapter at a time so you never are asked to know all that much. Secondly he gives you the test and will explain any question, the previous class. It took 4 exams before I missed a question. Great prof.

Read the chapters its not that hard and all the questions come right from the book. He gives a Pre-test of the Test you will take the next class so you know what the questions will be and the answers to them, he does mix up the questions and their answers though so they're not the same. Very good teacher and is willing to answer all questions.

Fantastic Class! Dr. D is always willing to help you out with unclear topics. The class structure is great. Pre-tests are the same thing as the tests. I had him from 6-9 on Monday nights, and never felt bored. He's a witty and intelligent man.

good teacher...doesn't like it when you talk in his class....tells the guys that he should picture him as a hot girl in a miniskirt so that they will pay attention to him....explains everything....you know all the questions and answers to the test before you take it....take him!!!!

If ur in the AF attendence isn't required but when I had him in the normal size classrooms for macro attendence was part of the grade. The tests are easy if you are one of the lucky classes to get the pre-test ****s are taking them with them and he's getting pissed so there may not be any more by the time u go to take the class. This guy is a good teacher who knows his stuff but his quizzes/tests are hard. You have to read the questions carefully because the answers all seem right. READ THE BOOK. There is a quiz every class. The only time there is no quiz is when there is an EXAM!!!!!!

Avoid this professor if you are lazy. Seriously. You will fail unless you read the book...His quizzes and tests are hard...

Great professor and really genuine person. Very helpful. Even though people say this class is hard, I think it is necessary for anyone in the business field to take this professor. If you think an entry level economics class is too much even with a hard professor, maybe you shouldn't be a business major.

Do not take this course if you are not a good test taker because there are quizzes and tests almost everyday. That is what your grade is based on, no papers or projects. One good thing is that he doesn't teach specifically from the textbook.

Dr. D is a really nice guy but his tests are really hard. You have to read the chapter atleast 4 times, the questions comes straight from the book. DO NOT GET CAUGHT USING UR CELL PHONE AND DON'T BE LATE. Make sure he knows your name.

Dr. D is a really great professor. His class is challenging, but you will learn and understand economics very well. He gives quizzes almost everyday, but they are good because they hold you accountable for actually knowing and applying the knowledge. If you genuinely want to learn economics you should definitely take his class.

One of the greatest professors you will ever have. If you are a serious student and are looking to better yourself, take Dr.D -- one of the top 3 profs I've ever had.

One of the best professors I've had & I actually learned quite a bit. Gives quizzes throughout the semester. His tests can be a bit hard at times. However, just study from the book, because all content comes from there. A lot of the quiz questions tend to be on the test. Pay attention and you will learn. Attendance is a MUST!
