Her class is the worst class ever. This woman is horrible. She requires great detail in all mathamatical processes, formulas and theories. Giving your best is nothing. She wants more and more and more... she can never get enough.

This professor makes life a living hell. Math was my favorite subject. I have gotten all the questions on her tests correct yet, I still ending up with a failing mark. She takes off many points for not explaining in further detail [and, how, why?]

You can get all the extra credit you want, it doesn't help. You must pass the exams and she does not submit her grade on time for last minute changes. I wonder who has actually passed her class?

If you are forced to take this class cause of requirements.. you are screwed. Horrible Prof. Sure she shows how to do the work.. but don't clearly explain it properly. Not very helpful at all.

The absolute worst professor at City Tech. Does not teach anything that will be on her exams, but expects you to know it. If you ask a question, she gives a word answer without explanation. I have never received less than an A- during my three semesters, but was forced to drop this course due to failed exams. If you care about your GPA or understanding calculus, DO NOT take her.

She is great at calculus, but horrible at teaching it. This school must be desperate for teachers, because I do not understand how this incompetent "professor" is still employed. You can get every answer on the exam correct and still not get an A. She is the type of instructor that takes pride in being extremely difficult to impossible. Pathetic!

Don't take her class if you are not good at calculus. Take her class if you want to challenge your calculus skill. School seems to be not a place to learn.

Giving group works for most of her class sessions and doesn't teach anything.

I got an A in pre-calc, but could not get higher than a C in this class. She doesn't teach anything on her exams but expects you to know it. Worst teacher at City Tech. The good reviews on here must be from her cause everyone I had class with was frustrated with her.

If you want to teach all of the material yourself and have a professor who is unfair at grading, then this is the professor for you.

I did all my assignments but I arrived late one time and they won't be counted ? What kind of lecture is that ? I totally regret I took her class waking up 7 in the morning just to waste 2 hours watching her learning nothing but self studied .

This professor made me feel illegitimate and wasnt willing to speak with me after class. I expressed to her my struggles with the material and her response was its my fault because I use the bathroom too much. She was very condescending and singled out students based on their work habits. Her class is Not a positivite work environment !!

I believe she has good intentions, however, it seems as if she is bent on preventing any students from passing with an A. It is one thing to push your students hard so they are able to not only pass but understand the material, but this professor will take off 2 or more points for minuscule things; Not adding +C at every line of your problem!

Switch class!!! This professor is not worth your tuition. If you decide to stay, you will get a low grade. I dislike her teaching style and unnecessary methods for this class.

As nice as she is her exams are beyond anything you'll do in class or for homework. She takes points away for the tiniest things it makes no sense for someone who got an A in calculus 1 to have to drop out of calculus 2 because the exams were extremely difficult. Avoid her at all cost! She doesn't allow calculators. Swap or drop.

One of the WORSE math teachers I've had. Missing a parathesesis -5, missing a F(x) in one line -5, the tiniest thing she takes off points. Lectures are quite boring, tests are nothing like what is given for homework. Just all around, not a good experience. AVOID at all costs.

Having this professor is like having strict parents. Honestly, since I've taken her class she expects everything her way. She grades the hardest especially with the smallest mistake she won't let it slide. You'll regret it if you take her class and not transfer.

Makes you do tons of homework take at least 1hr to do and she only checks one problem. Extremely picky on exams She knows your answer is correct but shes going to take off every single mistake you made even if it's not affecting the answer. It's crazy that other Profs try to let you pass but she wants to fail you by taking every possible point off

She is not a good Professor. She does not give a review sheet before exams before review and she is no help. Her lectures are confusing. I had to drop her class because she cannot teach and blames it on the students. Dont take her avoid her at all cost. If you stay in her class you will end up dropping it.

Taught you how to solve 1+1 but ask you to solve 84747x837363 on the exam

Gives you 24 questions for each homework, but literally only grades 4 questions. Doesn't listen to you during class when you say you don't understand something, literally talks to herself during class (red flag), doesn't care about her students. Also, if you miss a class for any reason, and do the homework assigned for that day, you're getting a 0!

I thought people were exaggerating about not taking this class. She takes off a ridiculous amount of points wants pictures to be turned to pdf everything is complicated with her and the rules dont apply to everyone she thinks we dont talk to each other. Take a different professor if you have an option I didnt.

Avoid if you can. Takes iff point for minuscule yet appropriate mathematical steps like reducing fractions to decimals. A complete waste of tome and energy

Even if you work hard and do your best, she will find ways to fail you. She takes points off exams for the smallest mistakes and not just 1 point, sometimes she will give you a 5 out of 10 because you didn't convert the numbers or changed to a decimal.

She is the worst professor in the history of Math, she doesn't take the time to help any student who is struggling, she is very petty with every single thing if its not the way she does it or her method of teaching she gives you a 0 or 1 on HWs and Learning Logs and she is very difficult to understand, please avoid her because she will fail you!!!!

She is a not a great professor gives 10-15 problems each night for HW and expects everything her way when there are many methods to solving the problem, not helpful at all and gives you 0s and 1s on every single HW And Learning Log please avoid her because she will just set you up for failure!!!!!!!

Garbage is the word id describe her teaching. Makes the problem solving for questions harder than they should be and ends up having less than 10 students in her class by the end of each semester. If you see this DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.

This is the worst math professor I've ever had. When she writes on the board, it's difficult to understand. She assigns 12 homework problems but only asks about one. If you make a mistake or don't use her formulas (and add the formula used for that problem), you'll receive a 0 for the homework. She's just the worst. Don't show respect for students.

Insufferable. I don't like the way she does math and she hovers. I can't stand not having my own space to do my work or the agency to do it. She allows nothing other than note-taking in her class. I'm normally proficient in math but she was so stressful I had to withdraw.

Avoid this professor at all costs - she grades harshly and doesn't provide much support. However, using unstuck study for study prep helped me get through the course.

One of the worst math professors. Do the test her way or she will grade it wrong. Passive aggressive. Gives out like 20 questions for hw but only checks 1 question. So if you get that 1 question wrong its as if you didn't do the hw at all. Take Jeffery Krolls class instead. For comparison I got D for her class (Calc1) and A in Krolls class (Calc2).

Deduct many point just for a small mistake like when you doing the integrating you didn't + c that's 3 points off. Gives you formula sheet but also wants you remember everything. I should've drop this class in the beginning, however, I decided to give it a try then turns out she doesn't deserve a try.

Would never take her again. A lot of assignments which u get 0 if u couldn't solve these questions specific question she asks for. Lectures are poor she doesn't let you take notes when she is lecturing. Really tough grader and she will ask the work done in her way like she invented calculus or something. Just avoid her in my opinion.

I strongly suggest another professor. She's not a fair grader when it comes to exams make up rules ( not stated in the syllabus) as she goes along so missing class will affect your grade or just ask. Dosent allow you to take notes during lectures in a writing intensive course, where student learn better by taking notes.

Very rude professor make sure you keep track of ur grades because she will make it seem like your failing when according to her syllabus you may have a chance on passing. Use that syllabus to help you keep track of you progress just incase she tells you your not passing

She initially seemed approachable, but over time the course became very challenging due to strict grading. Points were often deducted for minor details, which made it difficult to maintain a strong grade despite consistent effort. I would not personally recommend this class unless you are very detail-oriented and prepared for close grading.
