This teacher was great. He was very clear about what he expected in class and always gave positive and constructive feedback to any questions or assignments posted. I would take another class with this teacher and recomend it to anyone considering Business 101.

Took Computer Science 101 online. 1 10 question quiz a week and either a lab or assignment. 1 midterm and final. Get the book online so you can search through it, it will help for the tests. He will answer any questions that you have and is very helpful. He is on multiple times a day too. Some of the lab and test questions are ambiguous.

Art was an amazing teacher! I took his business 101 class. He made business sound interesting and really brought the subject to life. All you have to is turn in all the assignements correctly and you would pass.

I took the Business 101 online. It is very straightforward. Quizzes are only hard if you didn't read the textbook. Read two chapters every week,post two discussion questions, one short article and one quiz per week. He answers questions quickly and grades fairly quickly. Also, one research paper at the end of class.

I really enjoyed taking BusIT 209 with Mr. Lovestedt. Assignments were clear and interesting and if clarification was needed he cheerfully supplied it. I also appreciated his sense of humor.

Class is very well laid out. The book is required and you will be reading the chapters in order. He is very responsive and communicative throughout the class including responding to multiple discussion posts. There will be a quiz weekly, a summary of 6-7 business articles and 3 business reports, one big one (3-4 pgs) & two smaller ones (1-2 pgs)

His expectations are clear, his classes are organized, and due dates are spread out so that students can use their time management to plan when to do homework and tests. Just as some of the other reviewers have stated, I honestly believe Art is the best online instructor at BC. There was no point during the entire quarter where I was even the least bit confused. This class as instructed by Art Lovestedt is one of the best I?ve taken on-line so far. His instructions are easy to follow and very organized. I wish other instructors at this school have accomplished the knack to create simple and well-structured class instructions for students to follow.

Great teacher and great class. The final exam consists in 45 questions and 4 short essays of 300 words. The problem is that there are only 90 minutes to complete it online.

TAKE THIS CLASS! Weekly quizzes only 10 questions, multiple choice. Read 2 ch/week & 1 discussion question from each chapter that can easily be done without completing reading. Spent 2 hrs/week on this class & received an A+. 5 "essays", most of which can be done w/out any research & are based on personal experiences. Plus Art is a super cool guy!

Took the class online and i am very pleased. Class is very easy if you study and do your HW. Weekly discussion posts, and quizzes make up most your grade. He posts power point slides of each chapter, so you really don't need your book to know the material. It beats reading 50 pages. Take this class with Art!

This instructor really knows how to conduct an online course. His feedback is encouraging and he has so much business experience that really lend to the course. The textbook was a typical one with a lot of definitions and so forth, but the discussions and assignments made it more interesting. He grades homework and responds to e-mails promptly.

The best Teacher ever

I took an online class by this professor and I am thrilled that I did. Entering the hard computer science field was easy with taking this class. There are a lot of labs and assignments, but everything that you will use in future work: MS Office Package, Paint, HTML,Java, debugging. Nothing hard as labs are explained in detail with screenshots.

I took this class only as a requirement for my accounting degree. Although I have no interest I business I did learn a lot of information that might be useful in the future.

The class is an easy A+. Short quizzes will only take less than 10 minutes to get it done. not a lot of Homework's and also really easy too.

Take the hybrid class and show up to class! Art is very helpful instructor and you will benefit by going to the class sessions.

I took the hybrid course for this class which meant meeting once a week at the school and doing assignments that were due each Saturday. The instructions were always clear and the teacher was friendly and easy to talk to. Take the Hybrid class and you won't regret it. 1010 teacher. Attendance is optional, but you should show up anyways.

I didn't meet him in person because I took the class online but he was very helpful and was a pretty easy grader. He had lots of personal experience to share along with what we were learning as well. The assignments didn't take up too much time and there was no final.

Would highly recommend this class if you have an interest in computer science. If you do the readings and abide by the deadlines you will do just fine. He wants to make sure you are comprehending the material, but there are never trick questions on the quizzes which I really appreciate as a student (hate when teachers do that).

Very organized online class, the class materials like Video lectures & PDF materials are straight forward and laid out by steps. The assignments get more difficult at the end, but the good feedbacks, resources and textbook provided are helpful. I would take this instructor again and would recommend this instructor to other students in the futures.

I enjoyed the workload, and the fact that each week had the same assignments and deadlines made it easy to work into my schedule, because I didn't have to check back every hour for an assignment that would be due. The only exception to this were the reflections. I would have enjoyed the assessment reflections more if it did not feel so repetitious.

I really enjoyed the subject material and the way that the professor encouraged discussion between students and also the discussion questions and videos included in the discussions. I also really enjoyed taking part in the personal assessments, as they gave me the opportunity to reflect on my own characteristics and personal life. Good course!

Great Professor, I took him online and he responds to messages like savage. The class was easy, all the quizzes are online but the Labs is where you have to actually put more effort. Overall easy money!

Provided feedback on assignments that helped improve understanding of the topic. Make sure you read and do assignments equally throughout the week, if you wait until the last minute it'll be difficult to submit everything on-time. If you are able to keep a decent schedule, it's easy to keep a high grade.

He has very clear expectations for his students, which are not too difficult to reach. When students show up to class, he makes sure that his students understand it by walking around the classroom and asking students if they are doing okay. On written assignments, he is sure to give respectful feedback that is both conversational and informational.

This class was very enjoyable, professor Lovestedt is a very cool and interesting guy. Class was not mandatory for the hybrid CS101 class but they were helpful. He gives us lots of time to do the quizzes or assignments are they are always due on saturday.

Make sure you do well on the quizzes and labs because they make up a majority of your grade. Show up to class and he'll show you how to do some of the labs. Probably one of the easiest classes to get an A if you put in work.

Great class! All assignments/quizzes are laid out in a straightforward way. Quiz questions are sometimes a little tricky, but it's not bad overall. A lot of the assignments are easy, but you might struggle a bit for the coding exercises if you've never coded before (prof gives websites that helps you though, and there's a discussion board for Qs)

I took his class in last Winter quarter. This course is gonna be good for students who has no experience about any CS courses. It deals with really basic skills about a variety of subjects, such as MS office, Python, HTML and etc.

BUS 120 - Organizational Behavior was a great course to take. This class provided me with a great understanding and knowledge in a organizational business setting

Art's a great professor! His assignments are straightforward and as long as you do some reading and try to learn the content you'll be fine. You can ask questions and he will try to help as much as possible.

Everything is super straight-forward. Topic is not super hard to grasp. Online "Lecture" which are power points have everything you need to pass in this class. There is a lot of quizzes in this class but its all multiple choice and pretty easy. This is a low stress class.

Prof Lovestedt is super easy and nice. The homework is super straightforward and you have a good amount of time to get it done. He does not offer extra credit though but you probably won't need it anyway with such an easy homework load. Highly reccomend if you need a class you don't want to spend a lot of time on

Weekly hw and quiz due each Sat. He recommends not waiting last minute, but you can and get an A. Straight forward, make sure you read everything-details matter. Word/Excel easy-everyone knows. Python/Java/html had simple assignments, just read carefully. All readings are from free online websites-maybe waste of money?

Lots of assignments always got back to me quickly when I had questions. Some assignments were really easy but others required reading the resources he provided closely and took some time. Never ended up needing to meet him during office hours even thogh he offered a microsoft teams meeting.

Professor Lovestedt gave the best feedback I've ever gotten from any teacher. He left small notes or corrections on most assignments and replied to emails extremely quickly. Would definitely recommend for anyone trying to learn the basics of the Microsoft applications and general coding.

Took this course last Fall, but learned a lot. Went through different ways to code such as CSS, HTML, Python, Javascript, XML, and Excel. Lots of homework and a weekly quiz, but is willing to answer questions. Fun course overall and should be able to get an A, provided that the lectures are paid attention to. Very lenient professor (if you email him before the assignments are due to request an extension), although a bit of a hard grader. Class was quite difficult for a 101 course. Modules are very elaborative and you'll learn alot in a short time. I would definitely take Professor Lovestedt again and I've also enjoyed beginner's coding.

Most of the instruction is via videos and documentation found on the internet, but the professor did an excellent job of curating materials for this class. If you are computer savvy, you'll probably find this class fairly easy so it's good to take with other heavier classes. Don't get behind though, as there are a lot of assignments.

Professor Lovestedt's CS101 covers a wide range of topics quickly. While the workload is hefty, the class is manageable with dedication. unstuckstudy and other online resources can provide helpful study tools to supplement the course.

Until and unless you follow the content and get through contexts and understanding of concepts you will easily be able to be successful in this class.
