Amazing professor! All of the test questions are from the lecture notes/homework. Haven't taken math in 3 years and found it really easy to learn from his style and expertise. MUST ATTEND ALL CLASSES as notes are essential. Best math professor I have ever had. (class is challenging if you dont remeber your previous trig/algebra/calc that well).

About as straight forward as a professor could be. He tells you all the materials on a test before the test. There is no surprise. He may come off as brash and robotic but his lectures are clear so no complaint. 11/10 would definitely recommend. One of the best professors period

TBVH, you can see that he knows his stuff and is really good at explaining all the material. However, I think he's very aggressive. You can't interrupt his class in any way to ask questions until he's ready to accept questions. So, if you're one of those students who love to ask questions to learn, this wouldn't necessarily be your type of class.

One of the best profs in the math department. Exams are very straightforward, heavily based on his reviews before each exam. Not a lot of hw, very fair grader. He writes a lot, be ready to take notes (that's all you gonna need). Doesn't like to be interrupted, he takes questions only when he's ready. Spring 2022

Take him if you can. Three exams, one final. Exams are literally homework questions. Lectures are very clear too, however, he doesn't like when people ask questions in the middle of the lecture and saves them until after he explains new material. Don't ask the same question twice, don't text in class, don't eat in class. Straight forward.

Like most previous reviews say do exactly what he said, you will be fine. Yes, homework. But, he never check, it is only for your own benefit. If you seek just grade, don't want to do homework, he is perfect fit for you. Other than that, you won';t see from his style lecture.

His longgggg experience of teaching, maybe too long, himself has lost the passion for math. At least, I feel discourage from him. For me, enjoy the math. I wouldn't do any his class for grade that I have stick around to feel the negative energy for 3 full month for a grade. It is definitely not worthy. Life is short, use your time well.

Great Professor! If you like math he is perfect for you. He goes pretty quickly but explains the information super clearly and is there to help you. The class is 3 tests and a final but he tells you everything that going to be on the test. Either we did the problem in class or on HW.

I haven't taken calc in 2 years but with him it went really well. He will tell you exactly what will be on the test. You just need to listen and pay attention to it and PRACTICE. Having a solid group chat for this class helps a lot. 4 total tests. Make your notation for problems is correct or points are removed. Hws are like a mini extra credit

Professor Apter is straightforward - attend class, practice the homework, and you'll do well. The exams are just like the in-class examples. unstuck ai was a game-changer for preparing and staying organized.
