Made the Class WAY TOO HARD!!!!
Prof Moore was very helpful, interesting, and fair. Should be teaching at a UC!
Great Professor, makes you think and tells you how it is, no BS.

He is honestly the worst teacher anyone could ever have. Do yourself a favor... and never take his class... hey buddy, we dont care about your wife, just teach us math!
great teacher who knows what he's doing
The best math professor I have ever had. Practically a math genius, he knows what he is talking about.Very straight forward and will teach you everything that is important with none of the B.S. His non math comments also made the class more interesting.
He's a ok math teacher...knows what he's doing but he sometimes cusses way too much..otherwise he is helpful and teaches you the things you actually NEED to know to go on to higher math classes.
He is a great professor. He makes learning fun and less stressful. His method of teaching something hard and then changing the subject for a while is great. He is very insightful, but don't take EVERYTHING he says as the truth.
The best math teacher I ever had. I didn't know math could be enjoyable before his class. I don't really approve of the "Easiness" rating on the scales here. The class wasn't easy, but his teaching make it easier to understand the material.
Not so good lecturer. But if you know you're stuff you'll do fine on his "fair" exams.final exam is optional!!!
He is not one of the easiest teacher, but you are guaranteed to learn a lot if you put in the work that he expects out of you. His tests never have complex problems, all the answers go out to small numbers, just study.
Great teacher, but a littel too hard. I dropped the class, but partly it was my fault because I did not apply myself. You really need to be on top of it to get a good grade. He is fair and cares about you! He is a math geek! He needs to dress better!
Excellent teacher!
How ridiculously hypocritical is that? And who really cares?

Art is a BAD ASS! take him .
Thinks he's funny. Difficult class.
Great Teacher
very unhelpful
i only took him for MATH 070 for a little while before i dropped it because its the hardest class ever, but he seemed like a really cool teacher, makes class interesting, goes off subject a lot, but that helps sometimes, very knowledgable guy
One of the best preofessors I've ever had. I'll always remember the 3 things. Hope to have him again sometime. He made class fun and interesting which made it pleasent to be in. He Professes, rarely does he teacher
Best math teacher ive ever had. Art is the man. If u have to take math i definetly recommend him.
Just do yourself a favor and not waste your time because he will waste yours.
First class meeting, he was late and didn't know what time class was to start. When he did arrive, he threw a chair across the room! Then he made stupid comments: farting; women re-entry students keeps him in business. I "fired him" by dropping!
Moves extremely fast through the lecures. However, I learned the most from him than ANY other teacher I have ever had. He really prepares you for the next math level. If you want to learn, take him, otherwise it will be to hard.
Art knows to much--giving him a tendency to go off topic. However, his teaching style is unique and incredibly effective, but it takes a while to get used to. His door is always open to student who need help and I think this is his strongest quality.
He is a good teacher, moves rather quick, but grades easy on tests. All answers/results come to simple numbers. He is very knowledgable on what he does and prepares you to move on.
PRETTY FUNNY GUY, HELPFUL. HAS TONS OF CORNEY JOKES.
Great teacher, very knowledgeable with math (and everything in general), and has made alegebra very clear for me and should easily do the same for you.
he goes really fast, his tests are just okay...
This is one of the best teachers i've ever had. hes funny and makes the class really interesting. he is very knowlegable in Math and many other subjects. if you get an opportinity to take him as a teacher, please do.
great teacher overall. kept the class intresting
Lectures are way too fast. Quizes n Tests are okay. I don't know if it's just me but his voice is really annoying.
You will be socked at the first class meeting, later he is very nice and passionate. He will answer any questions from you as long as you get it. He will prepare you for cal 1,2,3 and 285. His grade is extremely fair and it is so easy, many of them come straight from the examples he gave in the class
helpful and good prepare for calculus
great teacher. keeps your attention all class period. easy A. i definately recommend this teacher if you generally have trouble in math.
definetly hit up acid back in the day!!!!!he is the best teacher ever. he dosent care if you come to class only show up for test.easy and helpful, shows shortcuts.he has a cray voice!!!corny as hell but funny in that sense. very quick lectures!
Great Guy, Knows what he is talking about. Loves puns a bit to much. Knows how to stretch your brain in fun ways. Genuinely likes students.
one of the bests. if you do the homework he assigns and do the practice tests you'll learn, get an A and have a lot of fun in his class.
nah... I hate him... he made the whole class felt asleep...
best math teacher i've ever had. if you normally have trouble in math, this is a great teacher for you. he pretty much tells you exactly what is going to be on the tests. he grades very fair.
moore=extrippyacidhead. he sounds like kermit the frog but hes cool!love the cheesy jokes (you'll apprieciate since math can be so dry) tests are easy cus he gives partial credit as long as u show your work. keep up with the homework cus he tells u whats on the test!he answers all questions in class about the homework so your never lost.great class
Art is the best math teacher I have ever had. He is very personable and tells a lot of cheesy jokes to keep math from becoming too serious and frustrating. He answers EVERYONE'S questions, even those that seem easy. His tests aren't hard if you do the homework. There is no curve but he makes your best scores count for the most of your grade.
Cheesy & cocky but he knows it--yet, great. His tests are not surprising. You'll really learn in this class if you study. And he helps a lot. He relates everything that are related. In the end, you'll go "oh yeah, cool." I only went to get his help once, but he's approachable. He knows all the material too well, but understands if you need help.
Worst teacher I've ever had. Went way to fast in lectures and didn't explain himself...he'd skip crucial parts of a problem and you wouldnt know how he got to the answer. His voice and jokes are very annoying. Dont recommend.
knowledgable, humorous, simplifies material, interesting

This class is interesting. hes a chill teacher i recomend taking him
i love this guy
Dude, this guy is crazy. He has the dirtiest mouth and was ****ed. He sucks at math and doesn't like giving breaks in a 2 and a half hour class.
The subject is hard to understand AT FIRST, but it will come along like Art's jokes. He likes very much to tell jokes everyday at every instance! Even when we are tired one day and don't bother to listen to his jokes, he tells us anyway. It's fun to have a wise-ass as your teacher!
As long as you can tolerate cheezy/inappropriate jokes, and are willing to show up and do the homework, this class is a breeze. Warning: Do not take unless you have a sense of humor!!
If you're willing to tolerate somewhat corny humor along with a decent education in mathematics, then you should get Art as your professor. The man actually knows what he teaches and he'll help you if you don't understand the content.
If u take pre-calculus or up, u probably like him. I don't recommend taking this 154 class. His letture is not well-prepared at all, he just came up with things and got answer out of no where, I have to rely on the book for clarification and I am telling ya, it's not fun to read that kind of stuff at all.
He's a good teacher. Sometimes, he goes through the material quickly so make sure you understand each section. If you need help, just ask and he'll help clarify or give examples. If you've taken pre-algebra, you should be okay. Make sure you do the homework, it does help.
i love this guy. if you're quick on your brain feet, you'll love him. he goes through the lessons pretty quickly but it's easy to catch on and he loves questions. makes funny jokes that not everybody gets. pretty easy and fair grader. definitely an ex-hippie and definitely did some stuff back in the day.~~~~~~~~~
He's a good teacher. Sometimes, he goes through the material quickly so make sure you understand each section. If you need help, just ask and he'll help clarify or give examples. also try to understand the material before you go to class or do the hw at least.
He is helpful, in regards to repeating a step and answering question, but I could honestly go without his lame ass jokes ughh...I am telling anyone who takes this class at least 40% of it is bad jokes and nodding "with me" is his favorite saying and I gurantee you after this class you will never want to hear that again! Helpful, but he lags.
Art is one of those prof's that keep the class interesting at all times. The man is a F****** genius at his his subject so there has been very few questions I have heard go unanswered. Very easy to talk to. I will try to get him for all my math classes
I don't know what these jerks are talking abt. He's very confusing and hve a strong accent, there is no break durng 2 and 1/2 hours so it's really exhasting. Avoid this class if u can.
HE's GOT THE STYLE AND LOOKS OF A**** STAR OF THE 80's :) cool dude. He likes corny jokes. "WITH ME"
Art is a very nice guy... cool guy to talk to... but this class was very confusing... the Discrete book isnt bad, but his Concrete Abstract Algebra book is very confusing... if you need help with, either get with a group or go to his office hours. He's very helpful, but he can sometimes be confusing when hes trying to help you.
Well, Art makes me laugh and goes off on different tangents of the most random things. But its funny. He teaches pretty fast it feels sometimes but I also suck at math. You honestly just have to pay attention and keep up in the book. Its probably best to make sure you've reviewed ahead of time. office hours too.
Great easy teacher, but he move a little fast for some
Great Teacher, 285 wasn't easy...but u have to put in ur share of the work to get the fruit of the labor and Art will do the same. His jokes are great...they aren't as corny as i thought they were going to be. His exams are fair, study his practice exams and the theorums. Never lost his temper once!! wow!!
argh! its only been 2 weeks and im so lost in his class. im doing better off w/ my bf teaching me at home. he teach like he's talking to the board or somthing...i cant even hear what he's saying and he go over everything so fast. I dont understand anything in class. My bf teach me better than he does. big mistake taking him. dam...too late now
he is really there for the student.yes his class is boring.yes he has stupid jokes but you can blame him he is only trying to make class interesting. study for his tests though cause im not dfoing so great but such a great teacher.. go in at his office hrs and he is there for u.
He will help you prepare well for calculus. Honestly, i fought this class too easy because i already has a good basic in math. However, he is more than willing to go over and over again if there is still anyone who doesn't get the concept. Very nice professor. He cares about your concern and problems and try to give you second change.
Lectures got a bit boring at times, but he knows what he's talking about and is a pretty good teacher. Attend class, take notes, and do all the homework (even though it's not required) in order to ace this class. When reviewing he tends to skip steps and go way too fast, so learn the material from the start or you will be completley lost.
This class was extremely boring. Go to class and do the "recommended" homework or you will get lost and then you won't be able to get caught up.
excellent, you would never imagine that how wonderful he is. Take his class, and it will benefit you.
He is not your typical teacher, that is for sure. His humor is off the wall, but I found him entertaining, informative and extremely helpful. He wants you to learn, and he makes every effort to ensure that happens.
Nice guy, very helpfull, teaches you very much. Just make sure that you study, trust me, if you think that 30hrs per test is too much then don't take this class.
probably the best math professor ive ever had he knows his math like no other he also explains everything well and knows alot of history bout math. He doesnt take role and there no homework or quizzes just 4 tests which are 30 for highest and 20 for lowest the rest are 25%. his jokes are a lil corny but it also gives us a break from all the math. h
Funny teacher, really nice guy...but teaches way to fast for my likings...teaches in big forum so its hard to ask questions...very intimidating...not recommend for those weak in math like me
This was the most useful class I took while at OCC. Not only did it solidify my previous mathematical knowledge, but Art Moore's heuristic style really prepared me for upper division. Study in groups, know and UNDERSTAND your proofs, do the practice tests, and you'll do fine.
I hate math, I loved going to Art's class. I had never scored above a C in a math class before, and I recieved A in the class and 3 A+s on his tests. Entertaining, clear, explains everything, and is more than willing to help you with math, or even life questions, during his office hours. The type of teacher you would want to go have coffee with!
His tests are base on his lecture. You can get partial points. 90% : A; 80% : B. It's not super easy class, but if u spend at least 24hrs studying prior to each Test you will get a A.
the teacher is nice and generous. But the class is quite difficult, at least for me. It's boring, too.
This class was one of the hardest classes I have ever taken at OCC. However, its not hard to pass this class. A lot of people got B or better. you just need to keep studying. He is a great professor and funny.....you will enjoy this class a lot
Art is chill. I was always bad at Math but I learned a lot with Art. Take him.
Art is fantastic! The class was too easy for me but I went just for his crazy lectures. HW and attendance not mandatory but if you need to learn then do it and show up. He cares about teaching and is realistic and full of random info so you dont get overloaded with math.
The course is very challeging, but he definitely made it fun because of his funny character and his jokes. I earned a B from him that I worked very very hard for. However, I am still very very pleased with his teaching style because he teaches like a philospher and prepare his students for Math major in any UC standard! Great Guy!
cool guy, go to his office, he's cool to talk to. His abstract algebra is confusing but you get used to it if you read it often enough. and keep up with it, you'll get a good grade, ask him for the practice tests.
His jokes are little weird but the good thing about him is that he never shouts at anyone. It's challenging cause you got to already know your calculus prior to coming to his lecture. Study way before the final cause you got to memorize a lot of theorems.
Coolest dude ever
Art is the man, never makes anyone feel dumb no matter how dumb your questions may be. Doesnt BS you tells you what you need to do and if you do it your golden. Tells you whats on exams. You really have to show up to every class in order to get all the info because he goes over things in his order and gives his proofs you need to "learn" for exam
Tough teacher but a great person, he loves what he does,he is my role model, definitly one the best in college. He is real human being.
This class is extremely tough for beginner on the calculus. Fortunately, I received final grade A so if you endure hard works until final, you'll survive and get good result.
awesome person/teacher, makes learning the difficult subjects as simple as possible, keep up with the non-mandatory assigned hw it really helps, hands down the best math teacher at occ, there is never a dumb question with this guy, his jokes/philosophical/political thoughts keep lecture interesting and worthwhile, overall awesome teacher/human
Excellent teacher! Eccentricities can be distracting for some. However, this guy knows what he is talking about! Don't be intimidated by his personality. He's super helpful. His dry humor is incredible, but I think goes over 90% of peoples' heads. Highly recommended!
I’m telling you all the negative comments about the professor are so "politically correct". With me? *Art’s style* Art is a Berkeley alumnus, a great teacher of great wisdom and humor, whom you can learn a lot of lessons from. “They (Cal) want to generate Nobels. They don't need nice people,” he once said. His teaching shou
If you're looking to take 182H, be aware that it is a lot harder than 185. It is a very challenging class that will chew up a lot of your time. If you're looking to take many Calculus classes in college, then he's your man cause he really knows his stuff. His classes will not be easy, but they will make you much better at math.
He's a tough professor. Half of the time I didn't understand what he was saying the first time around because he teaches differently than most of the math professors I've had. But definitely a class that I would recommend - I think he preps you for what you need to know, especially if you are going to take more Calculus classes!
This guy is excellent. :) He is an unparalleled genius in mathematics. That is worth more than anything. He definitely knows his subject well. Try to take him if at all possible. He is one of my favorite teachers at the college.
Mr. Moore is very smart and generous professor as well as his good looking. He provides a good solusion even though the question may dumb. He is best of the best professor whom I ever met.
Art is a very good teacher. He's go this PHD from Berkely in Math so you can definitely trust him. He teaches you how to do math the RIGHT way. However, while doin his example problems, he does skip a lot of steps, so u hav 2 b prety good in math to keep up with his work. He assumes you did well in algebra 10. Go the the SI's, they real helpful.
He is one of the best teachers, but that class material was boring
A very unique math professor! You will not find any other math professors that teach calculus the way he does. He will definitely prepare you for any math course you plan on taking at university. The only bad thing is that there are WAY too many theorems that don't make sense you're forced to memorize. Dont take though if you haven't at least taken
Most of his humor and life lessons were totally lost on the freshman (I'm an older student). He worked w/me after some personal probs which meant taking an incomplete in Spring and finishing over Summer with a B. He takes an interest in making sure you understand the subject, not just pass the class.
Art is hands-down the BEST math instructor I have ever had. He teaches from a mathematician's point of view which is extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this class.
AWESOME TEACHER! I used to hate math, but having him as a teacher (fall 09), he was the coolest ever. Math with him was simple and clear. When you didn't understand something, he clarified for you until you did. FYI his jokes are lame, but you gotta love the man for trying! There is hw, but not mandatory (do hw, it'll better your test score).
RIDICULOUS sense of humor, but he tries haha, makes math crystal clear. there is HW, DO IT, it will help (obviously) gives time at begining of class to go over HW if you dont understand. take this course if you want to learn math not for an easy A b/c its not an easy A.
This professor will prepare you for your future... if you're not prepared and diligent perhaps your future in Sociology.
Lets face it, there's no easy teachers for higher math like Calculus and transferring to another University there will be no easy math teacher. If you want a taste of what a University professor is like take him. If you want to fail in life get easy professors. Great professor, highly recommend him! Do all the homework too even though its optional
Art is an awesome teacher. He makes the material easy to swallow and his sense of humor is great. I would highly recommend him for your schedule
This teacher is good... if you are MAJORING in math. I have a 4.0, I'm a science major, and I had a 4.0 in high school. I have never gotten a B on any math test, but I could not take his class. IT is all theory. I advise you to take another teacher unless you are majoring in math.
I don't understand his logic if student should do 99% of the bulk of the work, then why take his course? Then someone can be an autodidact and teach herself and doesn't have to attend his class if he doesn't do a job of simplifying the complex which he "sucks" at and rather does the converse. smh
If you want to be prepared for University level math, then take his classes. If you are content with a second-rate community college level math class, then don't his class.
Professor Moore made me see mathematics differently. He approached it with a whole different mindset. He makes the numbers make sense and so passionately too! So totally willing to help with any concern. Unfortunately I ****ed up and failed but that was on all my failure to attend. If you get the chance take Moore. He'll change your view on numbers
This was my THIRD semester taking this class and i FINALLY passed with an A :) He is a math genius and makes things soooo easy for you to understand. He is always in his office and anyone and everyone is always welcome if you need further assistance. Highly highly recommend.
Best math teacher I've seen! Nuff said! :D
Art is awesome...he has a very monotone voice but makes you laugh. He has a way of making you interested in the math he's teaching by relating it to stuff you'd be interested in. Homework isnt required, only the tests and he's very helpful JUST ASK HIM!
He is a great person to get advice from, although I would say he lacks in the teaching department. He jumps ahead doing the steps in his head and expects you to keep up in that manner. I would recommend taking him if your a math major only, consider his drop out rate which is more than 80%!
He spent at least two weeks deriving things that were in the appendix. I asked him an algebraic question and he went into a ten minute lecture in front of the class about how your stupid if you can't do algebra. Half way through the semester he also told me to drop the class and change my major.
He doesn't really explain the concepts well. He will make small mistakes all the time on instructions AND TEST. He will brush it off it you point it out and you will still get it wrong. Test are MUCH harder than he says (class average Cs and Ds). Your grade is based on 5 tests only. Hand outs and test are hand written and practically illegible.
He's very easy and pleased to help. No homework required and quizzes. Recommend to take his class
This professor really enjoys math. Its a Fun math class too. Read the material he is going to lecture on before he lectures on it! I got an A without really understanding what I was doing with "series". Sometimes he will say some mathematical concept really fast and most will not follow.
Moore likes to talk, about anything. easy class if youre good at math. not so easy if youre not
I took him 182H and 285 classes. He is extremely wise, helpful and humorous. His classes were easy. I spent less than 2 hours per week studying math, did not do much homework and still got A+ in his class. Highly recommend him.
Art is a great teacher. He pushes his students to learn as much as they can. Don't expect to get an easy A in this class, however, if you put in the time you can get the grade you want and learn a lot along the way.
Art Moore is a genuine person. He doesn't sugar coat things and tells you what you need to do and why you need to do it. He's straightforward and that's a big plus. His linear algebra class is heavy on the proofs. Expect to memorize 6-12 proofs per exam where the proofs range from 5 lines to almost a full page. You will get arm cramps during exams.
Moore is a funny guy and probably the smartest person on campus. The tests are straightforward but roughly half of the material comes from a textbook he wrote which is impossible to understand. He seriously puts too much emphasis on proofs.. does he think we're actually learning from them? Heck no! We just memorize them, regurgitate, and forget!
hes super smart, knows his stuff, tells funny stories about his life alot, good jokes, test are bloody hard tho, gives out alota work
arts art, he'll seem to skip around, demand proofs, and on top do a 180 pg supplements on top of the text. He has a way of doing things that make them stick "yeeesssssssss", see when you go to upper division physics or engeneering you actually use this**** and the teachers go oh remeber stokes theorem were going to generalize it hope you remeber
One can learn almost nothing and still get an A in this class. He will often be lecturing off-topic while most of the class is still confused about the material he is supposed to be teaching.
Art's one of the best professors I've encountered in my college career. He's very clear with ideas, keeps the numbers simple to focus on concepts & uses excellent vocal variety so lectures are not boring & monotone. Am now in my senior year @ a local university double engineering major & call upon the ideas & SUPPLEMENTS from his course everyday!
HE IS SOOOOOO AWSOME! by far the best math teacher i've ever had for this subject. Make sure to ask him for the study guide in his office before the test!! The study guide test you ask him for is LITERALLY THE SAME EXACT THING as the test, I wish I knew n the beginning of the sems. But i got a B on my final and I HATE math with a passion :) TAKE HI
Hard Class plus he is kind of boring
He is such a great teacher. I am actually very depressed that he does not teach Math 100. The book isn't needed and homework doesn't need to be turned in, so its all by choice. I loved this class and I hate math.
He is an extremely difficult teacher but so awesome and filled with knowledge. expect to put alot of time outside of class to do well but you will learn alot. His teaching is sporatic but he's just resting neurons when he goes from subject to subject. great teacher, well worth the effort.
If: 1/you want a challenging math class 2/ you're comfortable with reading pages and pages of boring stuff in textbooks 3/ you love proofs with a passion or have a good memory 4/ you want to actually get something out of the class, 5/ you like jokes, TAKE HIM. Reminder: ask him for old tests to practice on.
Moore is def a professor you want for math. His tests are easy and if you go to the pass groups you get an auto 5% boost in your grade. I definitely regret not trying harder. However his grading is just based off our exams. No mandatory homework, no quizzes, no practice work. It can prove to be a problem if youre not good at math or self motivated.
Great teacher. He made me believe that I could actually have a future in math! I didn't get an A in the class because I didn't study enough. He makes it easy to get an A if you do the homework and actually apply yourself. He gives partial credit which is a life-saver. TAKE ART MOORE! It's too bad he doesn't teach more classes. I wish he would!
Art Moore teaches very well. He prepares you for a 4 year university. For this class, his exams were challenging. There were a lot of proofs to memorize. I recommend to ask for his old exams in his office hours, so you would get a hint of what he expects on exams.
Remember that if you are taking this class YOU ARE MAJORING IN A SUBJECT WHERE YOU NEED TO BE GOOD AT MATH! He is an amazing teacher and actually teaches you how to learn. He teaches you the best way to do the math and ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND and is the best prof Ive taken. Too many proofs for my liking but put the time in and you'll get an A
The tensor calculus book is very nice and self-contained! Prior knowledge from Art’s 285H and 182H helps a lot. Unless you have a brilliant memory AND the temerity to memorize what you don't understand, be prepared to take a lot of time out to do the reading/thinking, for the knowledge and sophistication that you will gain at the end is incredible!
This awesome class is based on 4 texts! Little Spivak is wonderful except it gets very handwavy towards the end (manifolds), which challenged my feeling of completeness somewhat LOL. Art's supplements are very helpful in clarifying things in the other books. Unfortunately, they are full of little “errors/typos” that can take a while to figure out!
When teaching he jumps around a lot, skips steps, and assume you are an expert on something mentioned for five minutes a year ago. He jumps around on sections so before you have a chance to absorb an abstract idea you are on something totally different leaving you lost. He grades leniently and it's not hard getting a B, but you won't learn much.
Tough professor if you don't do homework, study, and don't attend. But hey isn't that the student's responsibility? Handwriting can be a little difficult to read.
Extremely unclear with lectures and skips many steps when solving problems. Everything moves at a really fast pace, expect to do a lot of studying if you want to pass. Would not recommend if you are not strong at math or if you are taking a lot of units or difficult classes. This class will eat you up if you are not careful.
Reall enjoyed Art's class. Took him two semesters ago and I'm recommending him to my boyfriend who needs to take Math 30. As long as you come to class, do your homework, and study it's an easy class.
He amazing professor! I love Math because of him. He gives many gat examples in class, and great short cuts. Attend lecture to understance since there's a lot of formulas to learn. Homework is assigned but not collected. Do it your want to receive a high grade! Not an easy class and need to put in your work. 4 exams and a final.
Take him if you are math major or you love prove. I took him for 182H and I didn't like his honor portion at all. The honor portion requires love for proofs or good memory. His class wasn't hard but it took so much time to study for his proofs. I decided to drop honor math after taking his class.
One of the best teachers on campus. One of the smartest teachers on campus. Can be condescending at times but also funny as well. If you want to learn math take him. He is an extremely fair grader, but is still very difficult. Hw is optional but highly recommended.
Extremely boring teacher who talks in a monotone voice. He goes over the problems in class but when you ask a question he makes you feel like an idiot for asking. His tests are difficult and your grade in the class is solely based on the tests.
Great person terrible instructor. Take someone else.
Professor Art is really a nice guy, he's exams are really easy if you study his study guide! Class is boring though
A very fair, helpful, and resourceful teacher. He gives meaningful lecture notes. He is straight forward and does not sugar coat anything. Seek HIS counseling if your a STEM major, the OCC counselors are a joke. Calculus 3 is pretty hard, a lot harder than calculus 1 & 2. As far as his teaching style goes he's just Art...
if you dont understand math take Art he teaches in an understanding way not ust by the book way. I took math twice and he finally cleared it up for me.
I do not recommend this class unless you are planning on majoring with anything that has to do with math. He spends the majority of his time rambling on and tries to cram everything at the end. I usually do well in math but this is the first class I have ever not passed in my entire life.
Art Moore is the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. Skips around, doesn't make sense, test are hard and out of left field, handwriting is barley legible, goes on 15min+ rants, brings up calculus nonstop, and had one of his calculus students sit in the back and comment about how easy are work was. HEY ART, ITS MATH 30 NOT CALCULUS!!!!
Art is a great professor. His lectures and teaching style are concise and entertaining. He does not shy away from giving his opinion on anything and everything. If you go to every class, pay attention, and do the homework, you'll be fine. I'll be taking him again any chance I get.
Art is a good teacher, always willing to help, utilize office hours, tests aren't too bad
Art assumes you know everything already take the class only if you are a math major that is all
Smart teacher he knows what he is talking about
Art is the funniest teacher I have ever had. He is very nice and he will help you when you ask. This class was the hardest. I had to go to math tutoring for this class. Sometimes he goes very fast and his tests are hard. Make sure to do the homework and STUDY!!! You can't pass if you don't
He skips a lot of steps when solving problems in class that can confuse people. I don't recommend him unless you are planning on majoring in math.
This was probably the most boring class I have ever taken. I took this class with my friend and we both dropped it. The teacher has a very boring monotone voice and randomly tells stories which I enjoyed cause it took away from the lecture but he talks in a very condescending tone and makes remarks like he is so much better than you.
The honors section to linear algebra & differential equations covers point set topology for the first half and the second half is intro to exterior algebra. Very interesting material & Art has a great way of introducing the material. There are lots of errors in the general topology supplements that will hopefully be fixed by the spring semester.
He is a genious mathematician. If you have time for taking honor classes in higher math he may be a good decision. He makes lots of jokes and anegdotes from history. You have to Work on your own and Read on your own. Textbook we used was from 1970s and it is hard to obtain. Consider other choices or prepare for a though studing
He fit my learning style very well but I could see why others would not want to take him. There's 5 exams in your grade and that is it. He suggests problems for you to do but doesn't collect homework. If you're not self motivated then don't take. He does rant sometimes about public education, mathematicians, and college majors. I'd recommend.
The class was ridiculously difficult. He gives you an hour to finish tests because he wants you to be able to do problems quickly instead of accurately. His lectures are at least 50% tangents about geniuses and psychology. When he does teach, he acts like you know the stuff already. If you're a quick learner and want to teach yourself, take him.
Worst professor ever. He assumes that you know what he is teaching and goes off on tangents about sociology and physics. Your grade are based on 5 exams and they're very hard and requires you to think; you have about an hour and a half to complete the exam. He's also very condescending and assigns way too much. I don't recommend him at all.
Professor Moore was one of my favorite professors. He really inspired me to do really well in his class. He doesn't care if you skip class but if you do your screwed for the tests. I went to tutoring after every class and he saw I tried my hardest. . He is really funny but don't slack off. Go to tutoring or ask him for help if you do not understand
Best math teacher ever. Art teaches math from th point of understanding te math itself as opposed to rote methodology. Anyone can pound pound out problem after problem so that by exam time it becomes a matter of regurgitating homework assignments. Art arms you with enough information for the next level courses via his own supplementary syllabus!
I am someone who has always struggled with math and actually failed my first semester in math 030. Art is super cool and when he talks, he actually makes sense. Professor Moore is all about common sense and just making sure you understand how math works. Do the study guides and get a tutor before each test. and you'll do great. Art is the man!
Art's lectures are scattered, meaning he jumps around from one topic to another and often with no clear transition. He also doesn't label things, so your notes can be a bit of a nightmare and hard to understand later because of this. He'll expect you to know proofs inside and out for exams. But his exams are straightforward, and do not trick you.
Has barely legible handwriting and his lectures can be confusing sometimes but ge does answer questions and is helpful. 25 question tests in only 1 hr 15 min. Cool guy but he needs to make the class more accessible to people who aren't familiar with proofs and abstract math because it is very easy to fall behind in his class which is overwhelming
I took Art for 280H and 285. The material is not easy, but Art's exams are very straight forward. I honestly have learned more in the 2 classes I took with him than any other math class (or any class at all for that matter). This is due to the way Art teaches-- he's a pro. He's also very willing to help. He doesn't care if you come to class, but GO
The best math professor at OCC. I took his 280 and 285. If you like math, you should take his class because you can deepen your math skill which you can contribute to the next level. His lecture is pretty fast, but you get used to it after a couple weeks. Now I take his 230 which is not requirement to transfer because I want to learn more from him.
Always there to answer your questions during office hours, no matter how dumb the Q is. At first, Art's lecturing style was seemed horrible, but in the end, you'll begin to realize how effective it is. Art doesn't ding you hard on arithmetic errors as long as you understand the concepts. His reviews are also very helpful and tie everything togethe
He is overall good about math skills. But, there are kids sometime in his grader group, so please be aware if you do the exam with your own solutions (Or beyond the grader's knowledge) then you will get points off ridiculously.
The man knows his stuff. If you want to learn a thing or two take him. If your not willing to put in the time required to study, don't take him.
He straight out tells you Math 30 is a refresher course and expect you to know it. He is helpful and answers questions in-class. He always ask his students if they follow him before moving on. Hilarious Man, but not easy. If you aren't strong in Math; I suggest taking another teacher. Gives out HW but doesn't collect it. It's more for the students.
if you take in the summer you will just memorize the proofs and regurgitate them on the tests. wish i took during fall or spring so that i had more time to reread the notes and the book to actually understand what i am writing, as opposed to just memorizing all of the formulas. during office hours, he isn't too helpful; feels like yur bothering him
I've failed this class 3 times. I never do well in math. I received an A in his class he is a great teacher and teaches you the easy ways instead of complicating everything. Definitely take him, do the assigned homework and you'll pass.
His test are hard. Do no take unless youre good in math.
One of the best prof. ever! He explains things very clearly but if you're slow (like me) and still don't get it you can talk to him during office hours. He also has old exams that you can use as practice exams. He gives partial credit on exams and has a bonus question on each one. He writes his own exams so ask him if you can't read his writing.
Goes over what will be on the test. IMPORTANT: Ask him for old copies of tests! I found this out halfway thru, and it saved my grade. You will have proofs. Just practice them. Old students hangout in his office, so hard to talk to him. He has ex students grade your tests, so check your work with the solution sheet each time. Great professor.
I had taken several courses with Art before 290H, such as 182H, 280H, 285H, and 230. Needless to say I perhaps am partial, however the fact remains that this was the single most important course that I've ever taken. The material was challenging, the lectures were all over the place - not to mention 3 textbooks. Balancing was difficult, but doable.
Art Moore is the reason I love math. He didn't "teach" me anything, instead he showed me what I needed to know and guided me in the right direction. Or better yet, he enables his students to discover the solution to a problem before shoving the answer in your face. It's the most natural learning I've ever experienced.
Grades are based on 4 test only. No second chance. PROS:: He is smart so take him if you are good in math and don't want to waste time listening to long lecture and step by step process. CONS: lots of hw but no credits for them. No quizzes, so if you fail 1 test... Tests are hard and test time is so restricted. 1 hour for 20 questions
Art is great! He's simple and to the point. He wants you to understand the concepts vs messing with you with high numbers and trick problems. His goal is that you are capable of going on in future math classes and do well. Homework is not mandatory but necessary. Art is very intelligent and will make jokes in class that most don't understand lol.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. After reading all these good comments I decided to take his calc2 class because I was confident about my math skills. Wow about 40 students during the fist week. half of the class dropped after the 1st test and before final there were 12 pp left. Tests are ridiculously hard. He is smart but doesn't teach well.
If you are failing in this class, or you don't understand his teaching, or you got bad grades on the tests, please drop this class if you can. Don't just sit there and think it's gonna get better. NO IT WON'T GET BETTER IT WILL BE WORSE. Take another professor and you will think it's heaven. Don't wait until you got a D or F overall at the end
Took Art's 280 & 285 classes. Lot's of nerdy humor. Tough class. His goal was to make sure we were ready for upper division math courses. Never had less than an A in any previous math class until this one.
He's a great professor if you want to actually understand the math. He'll cover a lot more than a typical math class and at a higher level. Of course, this means it'll feel brutal at first, but it's worth it if you're majoring in something very math dependent like physics, CS or electrical engineering.
He is a good professor in that he teaches upper-division material to community college students. However, his exams are terrible: you are encouraged to regurgitate some textbook proof you memorized last night, instead of asking questions that require some thought before answering them. This is unlike an exam you see in upper-division mathematics.
Textbook is a MUST for this class. He jumps around all sections throughout semester. Doesn't go through one chapter at a time. Does NOT collect hw. Tests are how he grades. Ask him for a copy of prev. semesters test to help study! He does not take roll after first two weeks or so.
Awesome guy. Super intimidating at first. Textbooks sometimes use different notation than he does. You'll have to study hard if you want to understand the material, but if you practice his previous tests (which he makes available) until you can do them, then you'll be good because they don't vary much. Your grade is 100% comprised of test grades.
Attendance & hw isn't mandatory but I would advise you do both. Only 4 tests make up your grade and no EC opportunity. His teaching style is different as he teaches as little as possible and its up to you to do the hw to understand it. If you're used to being shown all the steps and being walked through a problem, then art isn't the guy for you.
Your grade in Art's class is solely based off the exams. There are no quizzes. He does give extra credit for attending the tutoring at the student success center, but you have to accumulate a lot of hours for it to really count. He does not collect/check homework, but I recommend you do it.
Extremely intelligent, but horrible at explaining. Math A182H is entirely based off of proofs, and there are 4 tests which your grade is based off of, but he has illegible writing and goes off tangent way too much and jumps around all over the place. If you are extremely confident in your calculus skills, take him. Otherwise, avoid at all costs.
If you want to learn discrete math, take this class at a different CC. If you want to feel smart because you can ingest and regurgitate proofs he tells you to memorize for the exam but not know any discrete math, take THIS class.
I love this professor: hilarious, intelligent, prepares you well for the future, overall fantastic teacher. Your grade is 100% dependent on 4 tests, the homework is optional, but doing the hw is what actually prepares you for the tests. Ask for tests from previous semesters: they are nearly identical to the tests you take. Tests are easy (to me).
Horrible for attempting to learn calculus for the first time. Gives about ten min in office hours and kicks you out, is fairly pompous and talks too much politics in class. Also has horrible teaching style, if your an A or B student you will pray for a C.
No assigned "HW", after the first few weeks class attendance is optional, Grading is ONLY based on four exams, 20% Lowest Score, 25% Middle scores and 30% Highest score. If you go to his office hours you can ask him for exams from previous semesters and study off of those. Be ready to remember lots of proofs and theorems. cannot read his writing!
Dont buy the math book at the occ book store. Spent $100 for the math code and turns out we dont use it in his class because hmwk is not mandatory. Is not on canvas, you have to go to his office for help. If you do not do well in math his teaching style is not for you. His handwriting is a mess feels like Im set up to fail. Tries to be funny
A professor who will actually teach you calc 2 the right way. I spent approx. 18 hours preparing for each exam. If you are willing to learn and put aside the time, you will see your knowledge about calc 2 improve tremendously. 4 exams - all curved and weighted! (30% for highest, 25% for next 2, and 20% for lowest). DO THE HW!!!!
Intelligent professor but not really good at teaching. Be ready to teach yourself or hire one of his graders to tutor you, if you really need to take his class.
Art is an okay professor. The problem with his class is he overemphasizes theory and teaches for math majors. He goes beyond whats required often using concepts from his own dissertation. If you are majoring in engineering just memorize and regurgitate his proofs. You will waste time trying to understand the theory when its pointless for you.
Art is my favorite professor at OCC. If you put forth effort and show you care, he will do the same for you. To prepare for exams he keeps all of his old tests that you can take pictures of. However, his tests are still a challenge, so DO THE HOMEWORK ON TOP OF IT! Good luck reading his handwriting(takes some getting used to). Best upper div. prep!
He's old fashioned, which is code for lazy. Writing is illegible, assumed you took every previous math class and most future classes; goes off topic several times in class and assumes most students are as pretentious as he is. Expects you to regurgitate proofs on his exams, but doesn't teach you much about them. Exams are almost identical to olds.
Ive had plenty of BAD teachers at OCC and Art is NOT one of them. He preps you for future math classes. Exams are extremely straight forward. He gives you EVERYTHING you need for an A if you practice material. His jokes are too witty for most to catch. Graded only off tests. There is EC. He isnt arrogant, but he does humble himself and his students
Art is a chill professor, knows what he's teaching. Grade is based on four exams and he reviews them for you also. Review and review a lot and you'll be fine.
Art is the man. I suggest only taking this professor if you are serious about math.
He never grades your test on his own, he always let his assistant grade everything. He always assumes that the student knows everything so he skips a lot of steps and said: " you should know about this". He knows a lot of math but he always looks down at the student he always said:" u should change ur major if u don't know this".
Writes in an illegible script. I could not read his writing and some of the textbooks for his class are in his handwriting. Trying to decipher the notes and "textbooks" took more time than the homework problems. If you're trying to prep for upper div math then take him at your own risk but if you're just trying to understand I would not recommend.
I took 180 from Art during fall 2020. Dropped within a month and a half. I've been a good math student in the past, but I could not deal. He doesn't do canvas&sends everything via email. When he sent out our first test, I got a pdf of it. It was HANDWRITTEN and ILLEGIBLE. During lectures I was bored out of my mind and could barely read his writing.
I believe Arthur Moore is an amazing teacher in the classroom, HOWEVER if you are taking him as an online course, don't. He doesn't make use of canvas, and everything is sent via email. Along with that, his hand writing is extremely messy. There are 4 exams that makes up your grade. Attend and take notes on review day, and you should be good.
Maybe its because of the pandemic, but this guy is unbearable online. He knows his field but jesus man the class is so unorganized and only takes place twice a week on zoom. No canvas or any other math website is used. He emails exams that he hand writes and is very hard to read at times. He goes all throughout the book, which i think is fine.
Happy I finally found a professor who acts like an adult and doesn't baby the class or pry for class "participation." Too bad I am already done with the lower div calculus series, otherwise I would have taken him for every course. Lectures like university professors; very fast paced.
I wanted to rip my teeth out from how utterly terrible this class was. If it weren't for the class creating a group chat, I would have failed the tests because we had to help each other translate his handwriting. If you use online calculators, this class is perfect, but if you actually want to learn, choose someone else. Use sladers for hw help.
Simply a terrible instructor. His writing is often completely illegible, he skips steps, goes way too fast for anyone, and makes comments that border on misconduct. He is not like a "university professor" as the review below says. That is a ridiculous sentiment. See Gilbert Strang's MIT course on YouTube. Strang is the antithesis of Moore.
Words cannot describe how bad he is. You will not learn anything from him and his lectures are just useless. Requires about 5 textbooks so good luck finding them all and reading every single one of them. After the first week, I decided to just self-learn this course. He makes me hate math. If you actually want to learn the material take some1 else.
take him if you want to learn absolutely nothing and understanding his handwriting.
bad enough that it's just plain hard math but it's all the more confusing when you cant learn as effectively because of his horrendous handwriting he can also make frankly uncalled for jabs at you for asking a "stupid question" If he's your only choice left for a class consider taking it somewhere else or another semester seriously. Never again.
This professor is so one dimensional he is everything that is wrong with the school system. He has no respect for students and would not recommend anyone who wants to learn something to take him. He is a just a sad old man who should have retired 30 years ago.
I strongly recommend not taking this professor. Throughout lecture he constantly ridiculed students who asked questions to the point where nobody wanted to speak up. If you really want to learn math and not have to teach yourself from five different textbooks, take someone else.
Things that must be noted when taking Moore. 5 textbooks will be used, differential equations, Hoffman and Kunze (hard to read), Supplements (his own book), 2 Linear books. His tests are very similar to Supplement tests, YOU MUST attend review lectures because they are SO FREE. DO NOT TAKE IF CANNOT TAKE A JOKE. P.S. do not be a loser head and cry.
Illegible handwriting. Only assignments in the class are tests, so if you already know how to do calculus you might be okay. Do not recommend taking this class; you will be left to teach yourself from the textbook.
Art Moore WILL TEACH YOU MATH! Bottom line. He knows his stuff and he knows he knows his stuff. Although we rarely interacted on an intimate student teacher level, I felt that Art cared about my success in the classroom. He challenges you but at the end of the day is a worthwhile class and professor to take.
He is, by far, the worst professor I've had to date. He speaks with a passive, sarcastic tone that really distracts from the lecture. His handwriting is terrible and he knows it. He's impatient. You can HEAR the trembling fear in students that just want to ask a question, because he'll tell them it's PreCalculus material. Please. Don't. Do. It.
Not the best handwriting in an online class
Gradebook is 4 exams. Like the other reviews say, He's basically the old man from UP, being discouraging, mean, and hard-to-read handwriting. However, his practice tests are estentially the real tests with different numbers, the class before exams he shows you how to solve each problem on the exam. Ask him to see past tests, it's very do able.
It was a difficult class indeed. But he has practice tests for you to do.
Professor Moore was interesting, to say the least. He grades on 4 tests ALONE. 25% for each test with the exception of your highest score being worth 30% and your lowest being 20%. A lot of studying and praying you're not having a bad day is required to pass this class.
He can't teach, his handwriting is awful, tests are based on practice tests so if you study them its an easy A, but if you wanna learn and maintain your enjoyment of math if you had any, don't take him. You'll come out as clueless as you were when you entered.
Class is only graded by 4 tests. His lectures are just him doing problems on the board and rarely explains anything. Handwriting is awful and very hard to read. He is also hard of hearing so if you ask a question, you must YELL IT. Be prepare to do your own learning outside of class. He does give previous year's exam for you to prepare.
In this class, 4/20 questions are unusually tough. If unsolved by all, an A via curve is possible, but if a highly knowledgeable peer solves them, a B is certain, causing many(50+%) to drop after first exam. Conversely, with hard work, another professor ensures an A. It suits those aiming for a C with minimal effort, but not A-aspiring hard-studiers.
Look, if you want to learn Calculus 1, do not take this guy. He will solve problems, but he will barely explain, and most of your learning is on your own. To make things worse, he can't hear and he's not a very engageable person. The only reason his class is manageable is he passes out previous tests, which USUALLY make up the next test.
worst professor i've ever taken by far, graded on 4 tests + 1 final ONLY. during lecture he jumps around like 3 different textbooks and mumbles nonsense, literally not even worth going to class. only people who did well in the class or learned anything were the ones who had weekly tutoring sessions
First of all, he doesn't even have a canvas page and barely teaches. He grades on only 4 tests no homework (luckily) and sometimes the test questions are impossible to solve and will incorrectly grade your tests. If you for some reason HAVE to take him, CHECK YOUR TEST FOR ANY ERRORS. You basically have to self-learn all of it.
Professor Moore was absolutely terrible. He grades on 4 tests, his lectures were extremely unhelpful, and it just looked like he barely cared about anything. He provided practice tests that would help before the tests, but the actual learning and comprehension of the math will be gone. Take someone else if you can, he doesn't teach, he just tests.
I think he does exactly what a college math professor should do. Courses in advanced mathematics cannot really be learned from professor but they can help you with your problems. But I really agree that his handwriting is so terrible and it's sometimes more challenging than the topics we're learning but you still can get an A by your hard work.
There is nothing I can say about Art that has not already been said, but I wanted to leave a numerical rating anyways.
I took him during Fall 2020, for 285. He is truly the epitome of a tenured professor who doesn't care anymore. He rambled about Trump and would make remarks about lazy students, which is incredibly ironic when he is the laziest professor I've ever taken. His hand writing is illegible, and you'll learn nothing if you take him.
Please read all recent reviews. Total rating is skewed by early 2000's ratings, all recent reviews show he has stopped caring about students entirely. Multiple textbooks, class out early every day, few to no examples in class, absolute lack of comprehension of material. He will claim the material is easy, well for him it is. For us, its impossible.
Only tests, hard to know how much a test will impact your grade due to personal scaling of tests, will grade like a 68% becoming a "CC". Makes inappropriate jokes consistently. Do not take this professor.
4 tests = your entire grade Getting a B is somewhat easy, getting an A is slightly harder Pros HW is optional, and so is attendance after a few weeks Cons Tenured and doesn't care. Decides to teach you abstract algebra and circuitry in an Intro to Discrete Mathematics course. Related subjects, but completely unnecessary. Generally unapproachable.
Grading policy is very clear for non-honors: 20% per exam. For honors it is extremely vague. No syllabus other than handwritten schedule. His handwriting and hearing are terrible. Generally not approachable but visit his office hours for questions. He deflates exam grades based on what the class got and inputs a GPA after he curves your score.
First college course I've ever dropped due to a professor. -Often read the text to us instead of teaching -Stood in the way of the board when he wrote (handwriting illegible) -MADE FUN OF US when we didn't remember topics from Calc I/II -Taught from handwritten handouts with missing pages I love math, but dreaded his class. Take at your own risk.
As someone who has a PhD in math at UCB, he sure knows how to teach! This class might not, and will probably not shed light (stems major love the pain!) those who major are math nerd gain appreciation appreciate. I only wish he could teach instead of mocking the class with a "DROP THE CLASS." His jokes do get better, and Art knows his math. R:4/10
Took Moore for 185 and he was horrible then, he hasn't changed a bit. Only reason I took him was because his class was the only available one that fit my schedule. Again, I learned nothing from him, and relied on his old tests to study off of and guess how he did particular problems. It baffles me that his score is still so high. He needs to retire
Don't take this professor if you're trying to actually learn calc 2. He doesn't lecture, he just does problems on the board (often incorrectly, making mistakes) and will make sarcastic comments towards you if you have questions. I only passed this class because he made 3/4 of his exams almost identical to his practice exams.
I usually am a lurker on ratemyprofessor but I just had to leave a review for this professor because he was so god awful. His lessons consist of mumbling while writing illegibly on the board and reading the textbook to us like its storytime. You'll be teaching yourself the whole course using the textbook and YouTube. Worst professor I've ever had.
I took this professor over a year ago and still think about how little I gained from his class. The only thing I remember about this class is all of the conversation he made with other students. The student to the left of me frequently traveled with American Airlines. Moores son was in band. His office hours were 15 min a day right before an 8am...
Everything negative said about this professor is true, but as a silver lining, I recommend him if you don't care to learn and want an easy grade. Attendance (after the first few weeks) and hw is optional, so don't bother. Just memorize previous exams that you can get from students who do attend lecture, show up on exam day, and get an easy B.
He is the worst professor I've ever taken! Lecture is optional, but don't attend lecture because he literally teaches NOTHING.All he does is repeat the book(s) word for word and usually does not understand it himself. All of his tests are hand written in a language he only understands. Please do yourself a favor, and NEVER take this professor, EVER.
Professor Moore lecture's make no sense as he rambles to him self. He assigns way too much homework. Truthfully, He does not teach. But I never has such an easy A in my whole life. 4 tests and that is your whole grade. The best part if the tests are just past tests. Everyone here is complaining but he is the best type of professor for grades.
Art may not be the best at teaching but his exams are very doable. Make sure to attend the review class before the exam.
Walked out of his class day 1. Didn't believe the reviews online about him, but he really does just sit in front of the class and read from the textbook. Can't speak to his grading/tests/homework because I didn't stick around.
Walked out day 1, 1 hour into his 2 and a 1/2 hour lecture. In the little time spent there, all he had done was sit in front of the class, pass out an unreadable schedule, read from the textbook, and mutter to himself as he solved a problem on the board so small the front row could barely see. Couldn't stand even 1 hour. -10/10. if I could.
Worst class I have ever taken. Every class we left more confused then when we got there. The second class we asked what was next for homework and he wrote on the board “bye ❤️” then proceeded to leave an hour and twenty minutes before class was supposed to end.
Take him. Attendance is optional. For exams, he hands out one copy and you pass it around. Everyone takes a picture and complete looking at your phones. Remember to ask for past exams solutions, since he reuses exams. You can basically look at the solutions on your phone when taking the exams. Easiest A ever. Do save the solution on your phone.
The class was a lot of reading but if you go to his office he takes the time to explain it. Sometimes he doesn't want to be bothered.
Art got me to love math and helped me look at numbers as adjectives instead of abstract symbols. He is the reason why I am majoring in mathematics, I absolutely love his work. Art deserves better ratings, he makes math simple. Math is not meant to be complicated. I hope I get to have a class with him again before he retires ♥️
