Lab was the best part about Bio. Having Aruther really bossted my grade.

Arthur is an amazing GTA. Quizzes and lab work is always fair and pretty easy. Attendence is mandatory in order to get credit for the quiz and learn next weeks material. Overall pretty amazing and fun guy to be around, theres never a dull moment with him!

He makes the class fun. He is very energetic about his job and has a love for biology. I had him for my Bio Lab and it was only one day a week but the time went by fast and we hardly ever stayed the full time. Overall good teacher.

Such a goood professor! I had him for lab, and it was my first college lab.. easy! he really likes to focus on the student and rather help you understand it your way than follow the book. Easyy quizzes once a week. & helps you alot on the practical. Honestly couldnt say it enough, take him!

This guy is great! He is always helpful and willing to assist with any questions you may have. He is always in a happy cheer full mood. He has a great sense of humor(especially Nerd Humor)I wish he was a lecture instructor because he really tried to teach US. But unfortunately he is often paired with not so good lecture professors.

He is so awesome and helpful! He answers any question you throw at him and he is so funny ( very nerdy funny, but still). I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to actually learn something. :)

He was very nice and understanding when we didn't understand a concept. Not to mention his age helped him to be even more understanding when we were all dead because it was an 8am Monday morning lab. Read you manual before class and you'll get all A's.

I can't stand biology and had never taken a lab before but this class was pretty easy! Class is rarely longer than an hour and a half, and he is really helpful! Just make sure to look over the lab manual before quizzes each week-other than that would definitely recommend him to anyone!!

All around excellent teacher! He is extremely helpful and cracks jokes all class. He is happy and friendly all the time. I enjoyed this class very much. Great Biology experience and a great way to lighten the day up!

This is amazing! He's very friendly and eager about helping out students. He tries to make class less painful and boring by telling funny stories and posting Meme photos in his powerpoints. He's in all around nice guy and very passionate about his work. I would highly reccommend him for a lab proffessor.

Excellent professor! I had always had an interest in Science before but never had a 'for sure' attitude. after i took his class i knew for sure i wanted to become a biologist. All around funny guy who really does try to help you enjoy science! i would HIIIGGGHHHLLLYYYYY RECOMMEND you take his class as much as you can!

He is a great professor. I recmmened tking him. He loves what he does and works with you to succeed and do well in this class. Show up to class though everyday b/c you gets points on lab day. Take notes, study, and write your papers and you will pass. I would take him again if I needed another class he taught.

Very helpful. I had trouble with net ionic equations and hess's law. He personally tutored me for free to help me out! I made and A on the final and ended up with a B. He doesn't collect the home work but if you did it he gives you extra-credit!!!

Incredibly helpful. I struggled through the term with personal issues. He personally helped me and got help for me from the disability center then vouched for me with the lecture teacher. He is pretty helpful but don't turn stuff in incomplete he won't even give partial credit! LOL

I love Professor O! He is super funny and makes the class very interesting. Lots of jokes and memes in his lectures that keep you entertained, and you will learn some really neat things! Very genuine and cares for his students. Would most definitely take again!

Art is a really fun guy. But if you a professor who will teach you something, he isnt right for you. Homework/quizzes/exams were all through Aleks. His lectures were only 50 minutes and he'd get side tracked for the majority of it. Overall a very easy A and very very sweet professor.

I love Professor O. He makes his students his #1 priority. Aleks due every Sunday, extra credit is given when your trying.Also class is not mandatory to attended but highly recommended because we get opportunities that the students that don't attend don't get. 10/10 recommend taking him.

I took this as an online course, so I had to teach myself a lot of the time. However, he does have lecture options available. He offers a lot of extra credit and cares about his students.

Overall was a great professor. The test and quizzes are not proctored, so you can use your notes. You do have to put the effort in to memorize the materials if you need them for the MCAT or future chem classes. Office hours very helpful.

Dr. Art is super nice! and a very understanding professor. He is very understanding with attendance and very straightforward with homework. There are random pop quizzes so be sure to not skip class. He goes over practice problems in class for more help which helps me a lot and prepares me for the quizzes after each chapter.

Doc Art was such a joyful professor. Hes very understanding and lenient with his students, except for late work which is understandable. Aleks homeworks weekly about 10 Qs a week very easy unlimited attempts. All quizzes and exams are on Aleks as well, both about 10-15 Qs 3 attempts. Midterm + final online 3 attempts. You have to try hard to fail!

Doc Art is really helpful. If you have trouble he will send you to the tutors & coaches and always has time to Zoom chat with you if you need help. He likes to use ALEKS so be ready for online homework every week! We had quizzes and tests on ALEKS as well so be ready for online assignments due every Sunday night.

There are HWs like every week online but if you do them on time you will pass no problem. I had to take a premed practice test after taking his class and did well on it. He mainly focuses on moles and names which was on my practice test. You need to turn in stuff on time. He met with me once on the weekend to help me which was nice.

Took for gen chem 1 lecture at UNF. Good prof. but spaces the pop quzzes out weird LOL, none one week then 2 the next! Very funny, or he thinks he is, he has a couple good yo mama jokes that he will use to keep you paying attention! There is a lot of online homework at least 1 online work a week so you have to get ALEKS.

Professor Omran is one of the best professors I have ever taken! He is very sweet and helpful. And he actually treats his students like people and is very understanding. He made chemistry easy to understand. The class was pretty easy. He is also very accessible and records his lectures. Hope to have him again in the future! Take good notes!

Dr. Art was funny, not a hard class at all. He gives you 3 attempts on every test including the midterm and final, and unlimited attempts on homework.

Every homework, quiz, and exam was taken at home on ALEK. For homework, you get unlimited attempts on each problem. For quizzes and exams, you get three attempts. His lectures are mandatory but he does not take attendance every class. He has a fun personality and wants his students to succeed. Would definitely recommend taking him.

Probably the best teacher I have ever had, especially in a STEM field! He teaches you to teach yourself, if you aren't into doing homework on time/reading you may not like his class. If you try you will pass and learn how to deal with college too! Really NERDY sense of humor so If you like The Big Bang Theory he will remind you of that show...

Took for gen chem 1 and liked him. The class was fun. Random pop quizzes so show up! Homework every week lots of ALEKS. Tests were in person and a lot like the homework, he posts practice tests on ALEKS which is great. I wanted to drop at one point but he told me how much he sucked at gen chem 1 when he was a freshman so I stayed LOL, I made a B!

Dr. Omran is hands down the best chemistry professor I've ever taken! I highly recommend taking any courses he teaches.

I was terrified to take chemistry after hearing so many bad things about it at the college level. However, Dr. Omran was a saving grace and made the class enjoyable. He loves showing off his personality, humor and compassion through each lecture. He always helped and was never once rude. I wound up actually looking forward to his class.

The entire class is on aleks including the midterm and exam. He is so funny and makes it easy. He takes pop quizzes for attendance but you just write was he has on the board. As long as your name is on the paper then you get credit. Would 100% take again!

I took this class online and the entire class was on aleks. He does weekly lectures with videos but the videos don't offer additional teaching besides going over examples. Midterm and final are on aleks and are open note as well as able to be taken multiple times.

Professor Omran was one of my favorite teachers. He was very respectful and very helpful. He was always willing to do extra and he came in with a great attitude. Coursework is on ALEKS and you get three attempts on quizzes and test. Unlimited tests on homework.

This professor was probably the best professor I have had in my four years of going to UNF, I don't normally write reviews but I had to write this one for him. This professor truly cares and explains everything throughly. Being in college and having different factors of stress come into play, this class was very peaceful, easy, and exciting!

SUPERRRR EASY!! Took this as a chemistry for non science major class and it was so simple. Only 2 assignments a week usually a 5question quiz and a quick discussion. Legit no way to fail this class

He made chemistry fun. I'm a Biology major so there was technically no reason to take this class, but it was still fun regardless. Each week there is a discussion post and a quiz. . There's also no math involved. 100% would take again. Hopefully he teaches CHM 2045 the semester I plan to take it

So simple. No in person tests. Everything except the lecture was online. He did pop quizzes to see the attendance but you can miss some. The only downside is that I added a space next to a number on a quiz and got 10 points off and he wouldnt alter my grade. My answer was correct with 3 decimal places and he wouldnt change the grade.

Very caring professor. Wants to make sure all his students pass. Everything is done online, except for his lectures. Lecture Material can be confusing sometimes, definitely would suggest a tutor. Pop quizzes sometimes to check attendance as well as add some points to your grade. I personally would not take him again, but he might work for others.

He is very nice and funny. This was an online class so all of the assignments were posted therefore you can get ahead. There is only a weekly discussion and a quiz every week. The discussion is so simple and doesn't need to have a word count. You also dont need to respond to discussions to get full credit. The quizzes are straight from slides.

Professor Art was amazing! He is always joking around and is not super strict on due dates. His homework could get difficult, but I am not a chem major. You have unlimited attempts on the homework and multiple attempts on quizzes and exams!

He's a great professor! I would definitely take other classes with him in the future. If you want an easy A, this is the best CHM teacher for you. Sometimes, he tries to be funny, and no one laughs, but he's such a nice person. I recommend!

He's super chill and the class is extremely easy. Take this as essentially a free credit. Only 15 discussion posts and 15 5 question multiple choice quizzes per semester. Can finish all the work the first 2 weeks.

Dr. Omran's Gen Chem 1 class was very easy and manageable. All you had to do was show up to the lectures, take notes, and do the aleks, and you would be set. As someone who does not like chemistry and just doesn't understand it, I had a really easy time. He writes his lectures on the board and does plenty of example problems. Extremely recommend!

Professor Omran is very funny but a little scatterbrained sometimes. He uses ALEKS for his coursework, so it's all done online. Keep in mind there are a few pop quizzes that he gives throughout the term as a proxy for attendance. He will help you with whatever you need and is very flexible with his availability.

He is very kind and lighthearted during lectures. The class is very easy to pass because everything is online and you can take at least 3 retakes on all the test and quizzes. The only thing I didn't like is that there are lots of questions on the homework each week and it can be very time consuming to do all at once but you can break it up some.

to prove this isn't a bot message, manrking CHEESEBURGER anyway Arthur Omaran is generally a very jolly fellow. attempts to make life easier for the student. his handwriting is a bit messy. GOAT homework design, usually 25-33 questions long due each Sunday. allows late homework uses Alex but not the bad wheel design, rather it's a classic sequence.

He is super kind/chill. When I took this course, every single assignment was through ALEKS which I can honestly say is a good thing. Chill deadlines, just try and learn the material, good lecturer (you should go) and you get multiple chances on quizzes. Easy to achieve an A and also learn the material and he is super nice/shows he cares.

Doc Art was awesome for intro to chem and kept lectures fun and interesting. Most work was done outside of class and you are given multiple chances on quizzes and exams.

he was great when I had him, all of his work was online, he gave us class off for any quizzes and he's modified his ALEKS program to make it MUCH easier to use. I've hated ALEKS any other time I had to use it but his is great. Overall a really nice guy and great prof, highly recommend!

SUPER chill guy. very lenient on due dates and late assignments. all homework, tests, and quizzes are on ALEKS (taken outside class) and just reuse the same questions from one another just w different numbers and chemicals. teaches fast but is more than happy to elaborate if you're lost. he's also genuinely really funny (not in a dad joke way)

Easy class, kind guy. EVERYTHING is on Aleks (tests, quizzes, exams) and attendance is not graded. Just keep up with the homework (don't save it for last minute-even tho he is lenient) and you can get an easy A. He is super nice and wants you to pass.

Easiest science class I ever took. All the work is on ALEKS, but it is a different ALEKS format that is actually pretty user/student friendly. Infinite tries on HW, 3 tries on quizzes/test. A few quizzes throughout the semester, and final at the end. Just need to study a little and you can get a 100% on every single assignment.

Super funny and derpy dude. Pretty lenient on when to turn in assignments like homework and such. As long as you study and get your work in you should be good.

Doc Art was very friendly during his lectures, they are not mandatory but are good for asking questions you might have. He answers every question posed in class which can be really helpful but sometimes the discussion might get derailed but he gets back on track very quickly. Very lenient on deadlines for hw but he asks you finish tests on time.

Professor Omran is a good professor who is really funny and gives good lectures. His assignments do have lots of questions but you get a whole week to complete. His class was pretty easy and I would definitely take him again going forward.

Homework is assigned each week 40-80 questions on ALEKS with unlimited attempts. Exams and quizzes are online, each with 3 attempts also on ALEKS. Would 100% take him again.

Dr. Omran had incredible lectures with lots of tricks for memorizing things. Most of the course is online and the way he programmed ALEKS made it extremely helpful and he gives you unlimited attempts on hw before the due date. Hilarious guy too. Would absolutely take a class with him again

If you want an easy A in chem, Omran is your best bet. If you are focusing in majoring in chemistry, I'd advise taking someone else. He often gets sidetracked during lecture and cancels class often. All assignment and tests are online, so you do not even have to attend his lecture. He's a great guy, his teaching is just not fit for me.

If you want an easy A take his class. All of the assignments are online and you get multiple attempts of quizzes and exams. We were told we would have pop quizzes in class but we only ever had one.

Amazing, kind, and funny professor, who is very laid back about grades and attendance. Lots of homework, but none of it is especially challenging, and you can redo all of it 3 times, and late, without losing points, which makes it very clear that the only goal is to help you understand the material. He is the goat, and you should take his class.
