Let me give you another handout. He's good...it's dense, and takes work to get his tests right, but you'll remember the material well.

Great Professor. He certainly knows his stuff. His tests are really hard, but they cause to learn and retain the information. I can't convey how much this information has come in handy in all of my other business classes.

the most fun presentations you'll ever have to do, very memorable class
He is o.k. The class is simple, you have to take down notes word for word for the test. The tests are hard but you do remember the info. He is ok but doesnt really get away from his notes.

this class is ****ing rediculous. he gives out so many handouts do not buy the book. His tests are very lengthy and tedious. If you are a management major at stockton you are screwed. He is the only HRM teacher there. He talks way too fast. try to avoid him for business policy and strategy

Fair teacher, no tricks. But can be a jerk when he wants and gives way too many hand-outs. All the people in my class were pricks as well.
ok teacher, way to many handouts, don't buy the book you don't need it, can be very ignorant and one sided(his)lot's of group work, so if you don't like groups don't take his class, loves to be entertained with presentations. the weirder the better !! his classes are not very friendly, nor the students taking them.He sucks at emailing back,so avoid

Enjoyed his class. He doesn't go by the text book, he is the text book. Lots of handouts and his tests take a week, but on the last day he lets you go back and correct any mistakes you might have made. I wish I could have taken more of his classes.

He likes to cut down trees!!! He is fair overall. He is kind when it comes to presentations..... very encouraging. He may come off hard sometimes but hes really not.

he explains everyting in the MOST COMPLICATED ways...he is never direct or "to the point" he give about 25 page handouts EVERY class... however he does give you the questions to the test...BUT there are too much information to memorize....AND they are all essay questions...

Like everyone said WAY too many handouts. Test all essay only two test. Get question before test. Seems like a lot of work but it isnt. not a bad guy at all. You do have to work in his class in addition to 2tests there are 3 30min-45min presintations. The wacky they are the better so that can be fun and entertaining. 15 break plus end early!!
Worthington does give a lot of handouts, but as long as you keep everything organzied and you take little notes ont he handouts, all you have to do it memorize your answers and 85 and up is an A.... I would take another class with him, he can be very funny at times.

Unless you have a great memory and can remeber ALOT of information for a test, DO NOT TAKE HIM! He does give you the test questions before but it covers SOOO much information and its ALL ESSAY!
Lots of handouts, overall he's a nice guy when you dont need anything from him. Asked for an incomplete b/c of death of immediate family member and he told me no. Tests insanely long but everything is given to you. Sometimes he'll say what someone else did wrong b4 telling you how to do it right.
Straightforward presentation of mundane material. Gives you everything you need to do well on exams, basically memorize and you're fine. Does his job, no more, no less. Overall didn't take much away from the class. Not a bad teacher and seems to be a good guy. But if you have a passion about the subject area, find a different teacher.
He sucks, like everyone said his tests It is possible to get an A in the class but you will end up speding your whole semester studying for his class. Stay away from him if you have a busy life.
worthingtons mgmt class= about 20-30 handouts per class, 3 tests (each requiring 3 class days), information on test being given to you, test questions (all essays) being given to you, and really dry material. hes cool and expects you to try. best way to do well is actually write out the test answers before hand and memorize them. tough class

DONT TAKE HIM. he babbles for two hours, he confuses the information. he will say one thing in calss and then on the test another. if you do not write the answer from the test book on your test he marks you wrong. he expects you to memorize every single word in the book. horrible teacher
I saved HRM for my last semester at Stockton and it was the biggest mistake I could have made. His tests are unnecessary memorization and essay responses, two days long each (3 total), and I absolutely hate them.

ive taken 2 classes with dr. worthington bc he is very clear in exactly what he expects. If you cannot make some effort then dont take him, all you have to do is show up to get the handouts and then actually learn the info for test, its not hard! He is really a good teacher and if you try you will not only pass but get an A:)

his classes are in fact contradictory to what he has states. he claims his class is easy and that he is "accomodating." He claims to give us all the information in advance, however, all he does is rely on his worksheets, expecting you to both quote them and his exact words (he says u dont have to be exact, a lie). Absolutely worthless. Not only does he mumble when he does talk, but he does not teach at all. He gives out too many handouts and expects us to memorize 7 chapters in 3 weeks, along with the handouts. I have a 3.9 GPA and I'm tempted to complain to the Dean of BSNS about his (lack of) teaching style.
His classes do not take a lot of effort.Cram before tests and thats it.He gives you all the questions and there are not that many assignments.
You memorize 30 essays for the semester. All you have to do is get the handouts, do not buy the book, nothing is in there. The only upside to his class is you know the essay questions, you just have to be able to memorize it word for word and you will do just fine.If you are ok with having no life for 3 weeks out of the year, then take him.
Business Policy: This class will make you work.. I took it over the summer. Memorize 14 essays (7 per exam) and several long presentations.. Overall he is a very nice teacher and gives you everything you need to do well in his class. He gets a bad rep but besides the overload of work and 30 handouts per class. hes not too bad

Nice Guy. He mumbles alot though. Tons and tons of handouts which is where he gets most of his test. Bring a Binder!! As long as you do your work your fine. Tests are long and are stretched out over 3 class periods. Comprehensive exam review and he gives you the questions a wk in advance.
Dr. Worthington is by far the most straightforward professor at Stockton. I don't understand why students say he's so dificult. HE GIVES YOU THE TEST QUESTIONS! You probably don't need to buy the textbooks, make sure you have a folder for your handouts. Overall, I'd give Dr. Worthington an A+. I wish he taught all of the Management courses!
despite the fact that his class is hard, nothing comes from the textbook and he kills you with handouts, don't ever expect him to learn your name and if you're having an issue with something you might as well just keep it to yourself. he's not very helpful.

Dr Worthington is a decent Professor. He is soft spoken so sometimes it is hard to hear him. If you are creative and artsy, he will love you simply because he prefers form over function. If your papers and presentations have pretty binders and tabs, you are good-to-go!
I read all of his reviews before taking his class and I was intimidated. Now that I'm finished with it I can say that he is awesome. He gives you everything for the exams (save all your handouts) and grades the projects very liberally. Awesome class. Take it in the summer if you can. Almost everyone who takes his class gets an A or B. No lie.

His Exams last for 3 days! He gives you the test questions in advance which is a good thing, but I took 5 classes and with his test lasting 3 days long, I had multiple test on the same day. If you aren't taking a full load of classes I recommend him, but if you are a full-time student taking 5 classes i don't recommend.
His exams are three days long, and they are essay based questions. He gives out a lot of hands-outs so you really do not need a text book. make sure you go to every class because thats helps you a bit on what he wants on the test. I really would not recommend this teach.
He does not teach. It is definitely possible to get an A, but you will be doing everything on your own. If you have questions, you might as well keep them to yourself. He does not care. All he does is give out handouts, and half of them are illegible. I do NOT recommend him. (Intro to MGMT)
No book required. Gives you all test questions before exam. Probably kills a football field worth of trees per semester for his ridiculous amounts of handouts. All this class is, is memorizing what is on these handouts.
Horrible teacher. Should not be teaching. All he does is give handouts. Exams are ridiculous. Do not take his class. You will regret it! I bought the $240 book that he said he requires and I didnt open it once. That class was a waste of my time.

Honestly, the class isn't all that difficult. All of the work is essentially crammed into 3 weeks; the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd exam. The class lectures revolve solely around the questions on the exam, and class rarely meets for more than 30 minutes on M/W/F. If you're good at memorizing/cramming, I would recommend this class.
In one word: boring! The subject matter isn't too difficult but he gives useless handouts and gets easily annoyed when you ask questions. He says attendance is mandatory but will never actually take it. That being said, he knows his stuff. You will get close to 40 handouts per class. This class is strictly memorization, then forgetting everything.
Don't be afraid to take him. He's really easy, but you'll have to study a lot. The man is obsessed with handouts, but he tells you EXACTLY whats on the tests.

Prof Worthington reminds me of the Nutty Professor. Very kind and willing to help students. The classes are dull but the tests are easy and he gives you the questions on the study guide so you know exactly what you're getting. No homework.
Very nice professor and the first day he made it clear that he taught for clarity and it seemed like it was gonna be an easy ride. I found this was not the case. I have had trouble following what he is saying and the class always misunderstands him. He teaches mostly through handouts and the book is rarely used.
Very unclear teacher. Tells class that he explains everything perfectly so that you know what will be on the test but he really doesn't. Have to memorize word for word essays on test and if you say wrong words its marked incorrect.

The class is a whole lot of work for nothing. I didnt learn anything, and i wouldnt reccomend wasting your time or money on his class.
I have Professor Worthington right now. It is the second week of the semester and I CANT STAND HIM. He doesnt know how to teach at all. He only reviews information that you didnt learn and he thinks that is teaching. I would not recommend anyone to take him. He needs to be fired from Stockton and go back to Perdue!
He's okay but not great. He teaches the stuff pretty well but expects you to memorize instead of show what you learned for the test. He is too strict with rules. He also makes students feel bad for asking questions or not understanding sometimes.
This professor does not get my recommendation. His lectures are rambling and he is mean to students that ask questions. The worse part of this class is the tests. They are impossible.
if you are looking for an easy class to get out of the way then take this class!! You have to do three speaking presentations that arent even graded and you have 2 or three tests that are easy and he tells you everything that will be on it. The final is a 10 page paper that you can bs because he doesnt grade it! Super easy class!!!!
He goes through the material throroughly and really knows his stuff. He gives homework and a presentation but credits based on whether you do it or not, no grade. Gives tests that are a week long in multiple parts, but gives exact questions on the study guide. A little unapproachable.

His tests make you want to cry. The questions are long and require so much information and the test takes a whole week. Ugh! You need his handouts, but dont waste money on buying the textbook.
Great guy, but one of the worst teachers I've ever had. Tests are FULL of information, but he goes over the study guide (which has every single question that will be on the test.) He isn't very clear and if you ask him to repeat something he gets an attitude.

3 exams. 2 hw assignments. 4 presentations. He LITERALLY gives u the exam a week in advance than you go to class and take it. Hw assignments are a 1 pg paper summary on a article of your choice thats not even a pg long in length. 1 presentation is a summary of your 1st hw assignment 1 to 2 mins long. Other 3 are group project presentations. EASY
EASY! He wants his students to pass so you get the exact questions on the exam a week before! He breaks up his exams into three class periods and tells you what questions are on what days. Keeps you engaged in the lecture. If you put in effot, you will pass with flying colors. You don't need the actual textbook but the blue book you need.
Professor Worthington is an amazing professor. You learn from him, and despite what everyone says about his 3-day-long exams, they are not difficult if you apply yourself. Pay attention in class, study a week in advance, and you'll get an A. Also there is one not-too-stressful group presentation!
Literally all you need to do in this course is study. The tests are the only things that matter so if you study hard and memorize as he does give you all the questions that will appear on the test beforehand, you cannot fail. There is no other reason other than yourself if you do. His grading criteria is one of the best I've ever experienced.

Honestly, any person could teach this class the way he teaches it. Lectures are approximately 15 minutes long, why? Because the tests revolve around memorizing information from the thick book of photocopies you have to buy. Entire class is based on memorization of information, which sometimes is not very clear in the handouts. Terrible and Lazy!

A very fair and traditional professor. Exams are brutal 3 day affairs, but you'll get the questions in advance. Very intelligent lectures, and he always lets you out of class early, but can be a bit condescending. Textbook is unnecessary, blue book is absolutely required. Homework is ungraded so long as you do it.
Stay away! He is a tough grader and the text book you have to buy isn't in order of the class or his lectures you spend half the class flipping from one page to another page 30 pages away. If you are taking Intro to Management, he basically hands you the test. He is a tough grader with verbiage, but it is because you get all of the answers in the exact words he wants. Buying his book sucks, but thats all you go over in class. You don't have to show up but you should because the class is just preparing for the tests.
His class is fairly easy because he gives you what will be on the test. However, he does not go in depth with the lectures. We do not use the textbook in class, but you will need it for the exams. He is more focused on the projects and presentations than actually teaching the lessons in class. Lots of reading in the textbook bc he doesn't go over.
He is an ok professor. Gives you the test questions and what days you will answer each one. Requires a lot of memorization and may compromise your grades in other classes. Lectures were 20 min. One group project worth very little. If you are a good test taker and memorizer this class should be an easy A. Buy the blue course packet, not the textbook
Worthington is classic. His HR MGMT class was a lot of memorization and the tests were a challenge, but this class is more focused on group presentations and projects with less weight on the exams. Classes aren't brutally long, you don't need the text book, just his handout supplement. Very easy going guy, will help if you ned it.
Arthur is my man. He is so chill. However, his class has a LOT of content. There are two exams that count for 60% of your grade and they are very content heavy, although he basically gives you the exam a week prior to take home and study. The exams are mostly open ended, so beware. But you will know exactly what the open ended questions are.
Hes the best. Literally tells you the questions on the test. You just have to study. If youre the type of person that wont study i dont recommend this class. He is the best professor i have had at stockton.
I love Dr. Worthington! He's amazing and really is very caring when it comes to personal issues, for example when life happens. He's always available during office hours. Purchase his course guide, not the textbook bc we never used it. The course guide has the exact exam questions which he gives you the answers to.
Professor Worthington is a very straight forward professor. He tells you exactly what hes looking for in your projects and exactly what is on the tests. He even gives you study guides which is rare in college. He grades based off of completion for the assignments usually. Very easy A if you put the work in, study hard for the exams.
Three exams throughout the semester that take a week to complete. Every question has multiple parts to it and there is no multiple choice. He expects you to remember every answer word for word. If you don't buy the blue course book he made himself from the bookstore, you will fail. Also, don't even think about talking or missing class.

Do not take this class. You will regret it. Despite his constant reminders during his long lectures every class that you don't need to memorize things for his test, you do. The tests are 10 Essay questions that have so many parts and require so much memorization and writing, that they are spread out for the entire week. They are ridiculously hard.

He does not use Blackboard, so you never get any grades back. It is a management class and his one exam is all about psychology, not business! I had no choice to take his class & regret doing so.
Professor Worthington is a very solid teacher, lectures can be boring but ends class early every time. Tests are very heavy and no joke but tells you exactly what you'll expect no surprises. Homework is very easy as well as the group project. Missing the class is a huge NO but go to his office hours and he has no issue helping you at all.
If you can memorize material, then it's an easy A. You need to buy his version of the book for the tests, but he gives you the questions to the test a week before. Any projects that he gives are graded based on completion, so they're easy points, and in most of his classes, an A is an 85. Took him twice and I loved him.
As a collegiate athlete, some times it was difficult to attend every class, thus making exams more difficult. Dr. Worthington was very receptive to the student athletes who required more time and flexibility to take exams, complete projects, etc. Outside of the classroom, he was funny and caring and just a real solid dude. Loved sports too!
He only uses 20 minutes out of the entire class time and we really do not learn anything. He is extremely strict and tests ask too much for each questions. If you try to study last minute you will fail and he is extremely strict on grading. He gets mad easily if you ask the same questions or are not paying attention to him. I do not recommend.
Very disappointed with this professor. He holds 20 minute classes and is very confusing and unclear of what the expectations are for the class. His classes consist of giving page numbers out of a textbook he made of where to study for tests and no explanation or teaching of any of the material. Overall, a very frustrating and difficult experience
Photographic memory required isn't a tag but for this class it should be. Tests are pure memorization. He does not lecture at all. Classes are at max 30 minutes in length. Waste of time and trees (his amount of handouts that are small two paragraph at most long blown up to font 50 are probably why the rain forests are dying). Overall, easy A.
Professor Worthington is without a doubt the worst professor I had at Stockton. A negative aspect of tenure is he is still around.
Classes last 30 minutes. This class requires a big blue book that is filled with 500+ papers that are out of order of what you learn. Tests are based on pure memorization and nothing else. So if you don't study and don't attend class, you'll fail. Easy A if you attend every class and can memorize.

I am not sure of how he was as a professor pre-rona, but I would absolutely NOT recommend this class to anyone. Professor Worthington is short-tempered and extremely quiet, making it difficult to understand the lectures. The exams are based solely on memorization and are 3 days long. If you do not write down every single thing he says, your toast.
Prof. Worthington is quite literally the WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD. His tests are 3 days long and all essays questions with at minimum 4 parts to each question. He's lecture heavy but talks like a mouse so you can't hear him. Also handout heavy and doesn't even go over the material on each handout.
Part 2 of my review. I had him during fall of 2020, he had no sympathy for students who were quarantined by the school and refused to help them or even talk to them, going as far as to not even answer the schools emails when they tried to contact him. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR ANYTHING!!! If this site let me rate him a 0 I would.

Old fashioned professor, no communication whatsoever and poor quality lecture. DO NOT TAKE HIM unless you absolutely have to. Seems like a cool guy outside of the classroom but as a professor he is not considerate or respectful of the students education. If you do take him get ready to teach yourself off of miscellaneous handouts.

Class is easy to get an A as long as you pay attention and sit up front. He is soft-spoken but tells you exactly what will be on the exams (which are 3 days long) and what he wants to hear on them. Classes are typically much shorter than the period, but as long as you do the test questions ahead of time and study, you'll have an A (which is an 85!)

The class itself wasn't necessarily difficult. However, he was a professor who you could not rely on for help outside of class or even during. Should you ask a question during his lecture he would belittle you in front of the class, and emailing him wasn't much better. If you do not answer a test question how he wants, you will fail. Avoid him.
