I hated math before his class. In high school I had to take it twice. I got an A in his class though. He is more than willing to help during office hours. Just do your home work and the reviews and you will be fine. His final is not a take home...

Muhundan is a great teacher. He explains everything, sometimes he gets frustrated if you don't get it. But he is extremely interested in math, you can tell! He's so easy to get ahold of if you miss a class.

this teacher is by far the best math teacher i have had in all of my educational career. i took him over the summer mon-thur...i missed class about once a week and still got A's on the test...his review sheets are very helpful and the final exam review sheet is a take home test not the actual review TAKE THIS TEACHER i am takin him next semester

He and Woodyard are the best math teachers. No surprises. You cannot be lazy, cannot "coast". He knows how to challenge without being too tough. His knowledge his superb. Very helpful. If you need extra help, ask after class/office. I took some classes about 15 yrsago here. Im back. The one thing that stuck with me was his class back then. :-)

Make sure you take a class that you can get up and go to all the time. He does take attendance but Algebra is hard, go to class? It is ok to miss once or twice. Do the reviews, study and do the homework. You will be fine. Lots of oppurtunities to make extra points to help your grade. Fair Teacher. Pretty nice guy too. Get the grade you want!

Exceptional instructor, knows the material inside & out & up & down! Very clear in his instructions & is very patient & helpful. Attendance is taken & this is not a class you can afford to miss if math is not your friend, as in my case. Do the homework, ask questions, go to ARC, you'll do fine. 1105 is challenging but he prepares you quite well.

This is how I break it down whether you should take him or not: If you have no desire to pursue more math classes and don't enjoy it (only taking it to get the required classes) I don't recommend him- but if you enjoy challenges and math- he will be the best math professor you will ever have! Just great all around!

Love him, but to break it down whether you should take it here it is. If you love math and want to pursue higher math classes, I recommend him bc he makes you think how to get to an answer rather than just telling you. On the contrary, if you are just trying to get a basic math credit, I don't suggest taking him because he does make it kinda hard.

Great professor!He explains the material until you understand it, regardless of how long it takes. Breaks up the ch. so each exam didn't have too much new material.(e.g. quiz over 5.1-5.4 then another quiz 5.5-5.8 instead of exam over 5.1-5.8). Exams are easy if you study your hw and in-class notes. Really knows his stuff, highly recommended.

Not an easy class, be prepared to work. Also, be ready to do a lot of work on your own. He only goes over some of the basic information for the chapter and leaves the rest for you to figure out. He'll tell you the review for the final is to study all your previous test, however, the final does have other information not on those previous tests.

Very good professor! Take this class, it is not 'joke class' but it is not difficult to get an A. Your grade is based on 4 test scores and your exam, and he replaces your lowest test score with your exam if its higher. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Nice guy. Answers any questions you have. Has an accent which I was leery about when signing up since I usually have a hard time understanding but had no problems with Mr. Muhundans'. If you prepare for class (do the homework) and ask questions you will have no problem passing. Also notes are really clear he writes down everything you need to know.

Professor Muhundan is an excellent teacher. He covers all the material but does not baby students who grasp it. He makes himself available after class if you need extra help. Book homework is assigned but not collected. I did the optional online homework and skipped out on buying the expensive book. Not an easy A, but obtainable.

Muhundan was excellent. He is always willing to answer questions, even the day of the test. His review sheets for the exams are SO helpful. If you want to do well, do the review. Calculus can be challenging, but the review is a good reflection of what will appear on the exam. He is even willing to stay later for students to finish exams.

I was in Muhundans Intermediate algebra class and was extremely nervous at first. But after getting into the groove he was extremely helpful and fun during lecture. If you study and apply yourself you will pass his tests and suprise yourself.

Loved this class because he's a great professor. This is my second time taking this course, but he made it easier to understand, my first professor sucked maybe thats why he doesn't work at SCF anymore. But if you have any questions ASK and he will make sure you understand how to do the work. He also teaches MAC 1105 and I'm taking his class because he is definitely the best

ATTENTION: do not buy a book for his class you won't need it, you can by the WebAssign code but to benefit you for homework assignments he's great. Test are 25questions or less. Exam is 40questions. tests are easy IF you actually paid attention in class

I took his college algebra class after taking int. algebra with Dr Runde. There's no comparison, but Muhundan is still a good teacher. He's a little difficult to follow at times, due to his Indian(?) accent. Can be very blunt when answering questions that he thinks you should already 'know'. Take detailed notes and don't miss class. You'll do fine.

I loved this professor. Very nice, very clear and willing to help. DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK. You will only use Mymathlab (website) and homework is not mandatory but counts as extra credit only if you do well. Open to any questions and will stay after class to make sure you learn.

I took his accelerated 8 week Intermediate Algebra course for Fall 2014. The class was super easy. It's just like a refresher of all other math classes I've taken. The homework is online and optional. If you do the work you get extra credit on the tests. I liked his teaching style but his accent is a little tough to understand at first.

Calculus is an inherently difficult course. Professor Muhundan does not make it any harder than it has to be. He is very clear in his instruction. He goes out of his way to be extremely fair. He is always willing to answer any question you may have. I would take him again.

I took his class for MAC 1105 and it was really good. He does have a slight accent, but it was not so heavy that you couldn't understand him. One thing that was awesome was that all of the homework on My Math Lab was extra credit. Unless you like to work out of a text book, do NOT buy it. Great class and I would definelty take him again.

Probably the best professor I've had with math, he's a good guy and he'll definitely work with you if you put in the effort. If you try asking for help after not showing up on time or showing up at all, you're out of luck. Super clear with his lecture and if you don't get it, its okay! He'll help you out, but he'll throw in some sass in with it.

First off if you don't like taking tests then this teacher isn't for you. Expect 4 main tests and a final for a total of 600 points. Buy the MyMathLab, or better yet rent the book, I only paid $26. You will never use the book but in class notes are not always clear so do the work online and you will learn everything you need to pass the tests.

Muhundan will answer any math question. One question, that he took class time to answer, was at least 10 very long steps. He very willing to help. His tests aren't too bad. I would highly recommend him to anyone. One of the best mathematics professors at SCF.

He was very helpful whenever I emailed him, and always responded in a timely manner. The homework was fairly easy and he gives enough time in order to get it done and you can redo the problems as many times as needed in order to get an A. As long as you do the work the class is a breeze. Also offers extra credit on all tests, even the final exam.

There is a lot of homework, so don't put it off until the last day. Each test includes extra credit which is nice (even the final). Don't take an accelerated course unless you're ready to cram - I fell into this trap and now have to retake the course. It had nothing to do with the professor, it's just a lot of work. I plan to take him again!

Great for engineering students. I look forward to lectures. Talks about applications to problems instead of just the theory. Ideas from earlier math courses are tied in so you're not simply memorizing the book. Has a sense of humor. I travel from Venice to Bradenton campus specifically for this class. It's worth the the extra drive time.

I have took Mr Muhundan for College Algebra in 8 weeks online class. It is a lot of homework, but if you really want to do it you absolutely can. He do a great job in reviews which it helps 99.99% for the test. He give extra extra credit the far you do all your homework. I really loved his class and i would definetely choose him again.

Amazing math teacher! I am so so so thankful to have him for Calc II. Ive heard horror stories. Explained most of the material really clearly and SLOWLY. And if you were still confused, you could ask questions. Lots of HW, but study and study because come on, its calc II. Switching to online wasnt hard either for coronavirus. Miss his lectures!

I really enjoyed studying with this professor. I like to learn independently, and it suits me very well that this professor does not force me to send my drafts after the test ( as the previous math teacher did). For me, this class was held in a calm atmosphere, without drama and complications. I really enjoyed the learning process.

Professor Muhundan is amazing, he teaches very well and will not leave the class until you understand. He gives you enough time to get your homework done, everything is in My math lab. and the test is the same as the homework and also gives a study guide. I took him on sum A in person I thought it would be tough for me but actually, it was great.

This professor is great! He is always passionate to help a student with any question they have. The tests are based off the hw, so do the hw. Only 1-2 hw assignments a week. Tests are difficult unless you study enough or are naturally good at math.

If you're going to take calc at SCF, take Muhundan! His teaching style is great and explains the lesson clearly along with many examples. He is very interested if anyone has a question and is a very understanding man. Homework is average and the tests are decently easy as long as you do his study guides and the homework.

If you're going to take his Calculus course then be mentally ready. This class requires some extreme discipline. You'll have to research many concepts to understand them properly. You'll have to start studying for the Tests while still only halfway through the chapters. He does help students if you ask for it. Good luck.

The professor has a great teaching style - lectures are engaging and he breaks down concepts clearly. Use unstuck AI and the free textbook to prep for tests, which can be challenging but doable with the right study habits.

His lectures were great, he very thoroughly explains each new topic and didn't miss a thing. He also goes over plenty of examples, any question you've got, he'll make the time to go over it either during or after class. I feel like the amount of homework is what you would expect with any other calc class too, it's all done through mymathlab.

I can't overstate how amazing this professor is!!! His tests are similar to the study guide, and he prepares you well for the final. He is down to earth and willing to help. At one point, he had the entire class laughing. I am usually nervous before tests, but I wasn't in this class. 💯 take him.
