Professor Khan was great! We worked on Office in the class, learning Word, PowerPoint, and so on. He was funny, caring, and did the projects in class. There is a lot of assignments but they are not that hard if you come to class or watch his videos. When I email him, he would reply very quickly. I would take him for another class!

Professor Khan was my favorite professor this semester! He made digital media very fun and interesting. his powerpoints had music and extra credit questions and he never lectured for long in class which I liked. He was very caring and always asked students how they were doing in classes, and accommodated when I had to miss class for family reasons.

Professor Khan really cares about the students and what he teaches, and he does it with passion and not just reading from book or slides. I love the hands on stuff we did and how he actually taught us step by step and not just assign things to do on your own. He brought chick-fil-a and donuts for the final exam for us which was really awesome!

Professor Khan's class is simple as long as you show up to class and do the work. He has a bonus point system that is applied to his tests so those help a ton. Honestly, he's the best professor you can take for this course.

Very fun class to take! Multiple opportunities to earn credit for exams. Exams are very easy that follow the study guide and there are reviews that basically cover everything in the text. Highly recommend! Tips: Pay attention to small details, and don't be shy to ask questions. Bonus Tips: If you have school merch, wear it!

I really enjoyed Professor Khan's class. I am not very techy but I learned a lot with the projects we did in digital media and he was very helpful with all of it. He is very caring because he knows all the students' names and stories and calls on us by name in class. No other professor I had invested in students like this. It was wonderful to see.

I was dreading taking another night class that was nearly 3hours long but prof Khan is the goat. I never wanted to miss a day of his class. Content is simple and he makes things fun and interactive. Don't think twice about taking this class.

Prof. Khan is wonderful for Digital Media. He truly cares about the students as people, not just as students. I was amazed at how he knew everyone's names and seem to connect with all students. He stays after class if you want to talk about IT, jobs, school, whatever. He makes the class inviting and enjoyable but you still learn alot about I.T.

Professor Khan was great, class was as fun as he could make it and although I do not remember any of what he taught us, he taught well and was a very chill professor. The professor was a great one to have for an IT course, especially for me, who is not an IT major and somewhat struggle with using new computer software. He made sure everyone follow along on all projects and made it simple to learn new things! He was always funny, laid back, and never made class stressful. I wish he could teach my non IT courses.

Professor Khan is amazing! His tests are exactly like the study guides. Attendance is in a way necessary since we do a lot of in-class assignments that count as our participation grade. All projects had good instructions to them. Overall an easy class and you actually learn new things and surprise yourself with the things you create.

Took him for my digital media credit. He gives extra credit points for breathing in his presence. Did a project weekly as well with a discussion post. Made a website as a final project and 3 exams throughout the semester. All you have to do is attend and keep up with the lectures. One of the easiest A's I'll probably ever get in college.

I took Professor Khan for online digital media this semester. For 8 am class, he definitely made it exciting and interesting, always engaging students on zoom and using chat effectively. Professor Khan is my FAV professor in my college experience, of 3 years now at 2 colleges. Any professor can claim knowledge to teach but not every professor can truly care, teach with connecting with the students, and make a tech class enjoyable and have you wanting to come each class. He goes above and beyond and it shows. Truly the best!

There's little I can add that hasn't been stated already for Mr. Khan but I would like to say he's very compassionate. He cares for his students beyond the classroom and work, and he is always there to talk to about life. He also knows you have other work, so he gives everything to complete in class for the week. The best professor at GGC, bar none! If you need to take digital media or IT courses, I doubt there is anyone more connected to students, funny, or inspiring as he is. I taken him before for digital media-2110 in class and now taking him for cloud computing-4000 on zoom and he is outstanding. If he taught something else, I would take that too!

I took Professor Khan in fall 2024. All I can say is, if more professors were like Khan, I would 100% be taking more in person classes at GGC. It can be hit or miss sometimes with in person professors, but he is no doubt one of the best in the college. It was always worth looking forward to class each week, no matter the work, because it was fun.

Had Professor Khan for cloud computing this spring. He was fantastic, and def knows AWS. He helped in getting prepared for the certification exam all semester, and I was able to pass it with his guidance and tips. Some weeks had discussions, each had a simple quiz, and you do labs in the aws environment as well. For online sync class, it was fun!

He's a good teacher and makes the class impossible to fail.

Best professor at GGC, in my opinion, his class is easy AND fun, which is unbelievably rare in college. Be creative, show up to class, do your projects, and study for your exams. You are guaranteed a minimum of an A if you do that. He is funny and learns everyone's names, so it feels like he actually cares about his students.

As a senior, it is sad I only got to take one class with Dr. Khan. If I had the opportunity to do more in prior semesters, my IT experience would definitely have been for the better. He is very knowledgeable but more important, he know how to convey the info you need for the class and the certification exam. GGC is lucky to have him in IT!

Reason why professor Khan is simply the best is because he gives lots of bonus point chances in class to those that participate. This make the material engaging and fun to come to class for. The material for the cloud class was a little challenging to me because it was new, but dr. Khan explains it very well and simply, so you can understand it. I plan to take the aws cert because of his inspiration and experience doing it and pushing us in the class each week to also get it. It was very engaging experience for online sync course.

I have taken the Saturday class for digital media this semester with Prof. Khan as a working individual all week, and it has been a wonderful experience all semester. Everything is relaxed and calm environment and he guides you through the work in class. We sometimes stayed after class to get help on stuff, and he was patient to stay with us.

He makes the class a breeze! We did 15 projects done almost all in class with him, 3 exams on audio, image, and animation, and a project where you make a website with your work. For a once a week class that scheduled to 10 pm, it didn't feel like we were working for hours most week and he makes class time fun with activities that engage you.

He makes everything clear and easy to understand. He goes over the projects with you. He has clear direction and videos to help outside of class or if you miss class. He replies very fast to emails, like scary fast sometimes. For an elective course, you really cannot find a better professor to make for a fun semester.

Genuinely a really good professor. A good grade is pretty much guaranteed in this course, so just show up, participate, and have fun. I don't have much else to say, really- it's a fun and engaging class and I'm not being bribed to say this.

He has completed a lot of the certs himself, so it was nice to hear and learn from a professor who actually did these things himself, and not just taught it. I plan to get certified next week. He is funny and engaging, but I love that he cares enough to constantly ask you as a student if you were doing well, pushing you to submit late assignments instead of just forget them, and reminds you what you can do to better your grade. As some said, the class is an A if you work for it, but he does so much to ensure you do work for your grade!

I took him for a once a week evening class that usually went past 9:30 pm most weeks, but he ensured we covered the material and did the projects, and he checked often on everyone to make sure they were following along step for step. I'm a senior in Cybersecurity and graduating this semester. Professor Khan was highly spoken of from some other classmates I know and after this semester, I can see why. It is refreshing to see an alumni coming back to teach future students. He really knows his stuff but he really also gets the student mindset. That understanding is HUGE I believe.

He had clear schedule we follow all semester, and grades updated weekly. He also used announcements a lot and give bonus points for participation, even in online class.

Outstanding professor for digital media! As someone that dabbles in graphic design a lot, it was still exciting to complete the projects Professor Khan had us do in class. The best part was he did not care of your expertise level. Everyone was treated the same and he made sure everyone was good for each step of each project, before continuing on.

He is 10/10 for me. As an older, non traditional student, he was very generous with his patience and instruction in class, and always made somewhat complex software and projects easy to digest, especially as I am not the best with computers, to be honest. It is an IT course and you use new software all semester, but it never felt overwhelming.

Took the Saturday morning class - digital media with Professor Khan. While it was a morning on weekend, he made it very relaxed/fun, and something to look forward to each week. He's hilarious, and always was making the class laugh, leading to a comfortable environment. He gets to know everyone by name, and he does bring food for the final.

I loved his cloud class because he taught the material in an entertaining manner, but most importantly, clear way. I was able to get certified before the class ended and it was due to the confidence he places in you as a student. Like, you can do it. Sounds cliche I know but it's the truth. We need more IT professors that can do that at GGC.

Night classes are difficult no matter what it is you are taking, but his night class was very enjoyable, even if most of the class was tired when we came each monday. He respected that you work all day and made it pretty easy. You follow along for projects in class, and he has study guides for the exams. Also jeopardy was fun thing before exams.

Very good class. Just come to class, do the projects with him as he guides you through all of them, and minimal homework as long as you do the discussion post weekly during class. Sometimes I had to fix some projects due to new software but he has videos and instructions on D2L. Makes class cool and he's definitely the funniest professor I've had.

Outstanding class and professor. Most fun I had in a college class in a while, while still actually learning new things and software. His approach is unique but comes across as very relatable to college students with humor and personality. He gets to know everyone by name and asks how you are doing all semester in life, in general. very caring.

I just wanted to say that I took him in 2022 but he's the most caring professor I've seen at GGC in my 4 years. I graduated in December and he remembered me from his class and took a picture with me. Today, he was also there supporting students at graduation and took a picture with my sibling who also had his class after me! Full circle moment.

As a biochem major, IT really isn't my forte but in hindsight, his class was really well done to appeal to non-IT majors as well as IT majors. You actually create a lot of work and use different software in depth, without sometime realizing it. His step by step style of instruction ensures no one is lost and the participation games make it fun.

The BEST at GGC! It was a pleasure to take him in the summer semester. I was worried about night classes for 3.5 hours twice a week but he eased that concerns very quickly. Very caring, focused on your learning, and supportive in the process. Straight forward projects, exams, and activities. Lots of extra credit chances too if you participate.

Very chill but exciting class. Make sure to come to class and you'll be fine. He covers everything in class, step by step on projects. He lets you have room for creativity as well and I feel this was the first college class where I actually enjoyed talking to my classmates around me, and getting to know other students over the semester. Had a very enjoyable summer semester with Professor Khan! He is everything one wishes for in a college professor, especially if you're a FT student and FT worker. Class is to the point, he covers everything needed clearly, and has videos and powerpoints up quickly for the projects and exams. Never confusing, always funny, and very caring!

For a summer course, he was very chill and easy, for me at least. Projects were done in class, step by step. He employs the no student left behind policy which supported those that struggle with computers or new software. If you're tech savvy, you'll find the class fun. If you're not, you'll find great assistance from him to ensure you learn too!

Great professor and all around teacher. He is really caring for all students in a class and his passion for GGC as he is a graduate himself, really show in class. He does give a lot of extra credit if you can make it to campus events, sports, and stuff which are not always timed well for working students, but that's just how the college does it.

Dr.Khan made an IT class that I didn't care for, quite enjoyable and relaxing to do. It like actually made me more interested in doing something with IT down the road low key. His course is very well laid out, and he always makes class fun and exciting. There is a lot of "busy" work GGC makes you do in this class, but he did great helping with it.

The media course itself was breeze, as I dabble in graphic design for years, but I like to say that Prof Khan ensures EVERYONE understands/learns the softwares, no matter your experience with IT/software. He REALLY cares about your success, inside and out of class,and wants you to be successful. All prof can teach, not many prof care like he does.

As a graduating senior who dropped 2110 3 times before, glad I found him. If there were more like him, I would have enjoyed my college experience WAY more than I did.

He's a great person, caring, knowledgeable, and funny. But he also make the course very clear to understand. With busy schedule, I never had to guess what we were gonna do each week for 3 hours. Course schedule was clear and all ppt and study guide were posted for quizzes & exam. He always had videos and step by step instruction for projects too.

Professor Khan is AMAZING! He is genuinely one of the best instructors I've had. He explains everything clearly, truly cares about his students, and creates a comfortable learning environment. I learned so much this semester and always felt supported. The class was also a lot of fun! Highly recommend! I promise you won't regret it!

His class is relaxing and straight forward. He makes it fun and exciting as well, for an IT course. IT isn't my strongest area as a Business major but he got me excited to take it as a minor. Let's put it this way. He was so inspirational, I am taking his digital media class next semester and told all my friends to take him as well. He's the GOAT.

Professor Khan is a real gem and GGC is very lucky to have such a caring alumni in their classrooms. I am a non-traditional older student but the way he ensures all students, irrespective of age or background or technical ability, enjoy and learn in the class is special. I learned more than I expected and I enjoyed the experience and enviornment!

ok so IT is def not my thing & I was super scared of this course coming in. Professor Khan has def made understanding IT so much fun & easier than I expected! He would cover all the important info in class. We had study guide for quizzes & we played games to get bonus points. He knew everyone's name and story, which made the class interactive!

Everything is laid out well for class. Weekly quizzes, discussions, and projects. He goes over projects in class with you, one website final project. Lots of extra credit opportunities, if you willing to participate. Even if you're a quiet type, like me, his memory and ability to really remember everyone in the class helps cuz he will call on you!

He made an IT class very laid back and enjoyable. I have taken MSoffice and IT in high school so the work wasn't really hard, it was just busy work. Most of what you do is required for 1001, but he made the in class activities fun and engaging, when I know others don't, from friends. I got to meet people around me and it's because he encouraged us.

Prob the easiest class I've taken in GGC/college, and I mean that with utmost respect. It wasn't always the easiest work, with new software and lots of technical assignments, but Professor Khan makes it so that everyone can enjoy, learn, and keep up with the work, because no one is left behind (his words). Never felt scare to raise my hand for help

I enjoyed the class, especially the hands on work we did. For a saturday class and 3 hours, I was worried it would be quite boring. He made it exciting, even though our class was mostly tired from work all week. Some people didn't participate as much as others, but he made sure everyone was helped each week. Most caring prof for sure I have had!

He has a inspiring story and his message of go be great definitely resonated with me, as a senior next year. It was cool to see how he went from ggc student to alumni and all the awards he won since, proving you can succeed if you put in the work. Funny, cares, and a CRAZY scary memory, he's prob not like any professor I had so far. The GOAT lol.

Digital media was not a course I expected to really enjoy and become my favorite class but Dr. Khan made it that. Even if you are not like "tech savvy" or whatever, which is my weakness, he will walk you through the projects step by step, so you can still learn at the pace everyone does. The expression and creativity he allows was refreshing!

I'm glad I checked before taking him for digital media because he is definitely 5/5! Goes above and beyond to ensure everyone understands and completes the work. Makes class entertaining, fun, and something you look forward to every week. I wish he taught more IT courses at GGC lol. Would make my life better.

BEST Professor EVER! Class was SO fun and I made so many new friends, plus you actually learn a lot about IT. I'm taking him for Digital Media next semester because of how great this class was with him.

He was wonderful but IT still isn't my cup of tea lol. There was lots of engaging activities, I like the jeopardy and the robot activity we did, along with the chance to meet other students and get to know them. The work was doable and some of it was interesting but others was dull. Can't fault him, it's part of the coursework. He made it relaxed!

Genuinely one of the most caring, thoughtful professors at GGC. He put so much effort into the course. clear PPTs, study guides, quizzes, discussions. His email reply time is CRAZY. I emailed at 2 am once and he replied in 2 minutes lol. Some emails got replied in the same minute you sent it, which was scary. Truly responsive and dedicated.

The environment Professor Khan creates in the classroom is unique. He make sure everyone's voice is heard during lecture, and helps everyone during projects. He remembers all the names and people's stories, and actually talks to you about stuff other than classwork before or after class. No one felt afraid to raise their hand or ask questions!

Loved the class! His course schedule document is clear from the first week, so you know what you are doing every week all semester. He replies quick to emails, puts out lots of announcements for deadlines, and has videos and instruction for projects if you get stuck. IDK who would get stuck but he cover the project in class step by step with you!

Prof Khan is honestly the best professor at GGC. If I could give one piece of advice it would be TAKE HIS CLASS. He genuinely cares about the success of his students. He provides every opportunity for success as long as you take it. He remembers every students name and their story. I looked forward to his class each week. You won't regret taking it

Professor Khan is the best professor I have had in college, GGC is not my first college (3rd one now). He really does a great job blending humor and teaching, but in a relaxed environment. I never felt rushed/overwhelmed, even though the 1001 course has lot of work to do. He makes learning fun and exciting. Taking him for digital media in Spring!
