Very knowlegeable class

Professor Dey is truly an amazing and dedicated teacher. I was always able to count on her to work with me and as a result of her dedication I recieved an A in her Critical Reading class, something I didn't think was possible. She truly brings out the best in people and develops your strenghts. I highly reccomend Asha Dey as a professor to anyone!

This class is extremely useful for your everyday life. This is not a class you want to test out of. She is an extremely good teacher and is there for you when you need her help.

I would tell anyone to take any of Prof. Dey's classes she has been very helpful.

I loved this class although it is fast paced during the summer, you will learn alot of information. I do recommened this class to fast paced people during the summer.But if you it takes you time taking during the regular school year.

Professor Dey is very understanding and helpful to her students she is encouraging and understanding.

CRE 101 class is really helpful. Although it's really fast paced during the Summer it helps you gain knowledge. Ms. Dey really helps you in anything you need help on. She makes things really fun and easy to learn. You get a lot of useful information that will help you in all your classes.

This is an really good professor. Everything is pretty straight forward, however you will get lost if you procrastinate. I would recommend this class to anyone. This is an awesome class, the professor made it wonderful.

I loved taking Rdg095 class it taught me several things such as how to make an umbrella, transition words, expanded my vocabulary.

she helped all of us to understand the materials she gave in class also clarify the objective of the class so we all can achieve our goals at the end of the semester. she helps the students to implement the materials into the real world so you wouldn't be lost. mainly that's the reason we learn so we can be equip with the really world things.

I enjoyed this class very much. Ms Dey was very understanding of the students. she went over material consistantly, therefore it sticks with you for the test and even after the class is over.

Ms.Ashdey is one of the most hopefull teacher i ever meet. she is very helpful,she takes the time out to help you if you need it, she gets involed with her students and not most teacher are very kind and understanding like her. best teacher i ever had.

Ms. Asha Dey is a phenomenal teacher that works very hard to keep the students above from failing. In order to succeed in her class, do the work and don't think about other things. Learned that the hard way. Just do the work, finish it and you have all the time in the world. Very nice and respectful and easy to get along with.

Excellent In every way

I was very skeptical about the instructor because of all the bad reviews I've read and honestly, she's not as bad as they say. She was very understanding and helpful since day one! There is a lot of writing but this course prepares students who are taking English 102 in the future and to critically think in life. I seriously recommend her!

Expect A LOT of papers to type and email via Canvas (however, I did take her 8 week online accelerated class, so keep that in mind). I'm a procrastinator and she made sure I did my work correctly and not just "turn it in". She is the teacher everyone wants. Do the work and you'll get the grade you deserve. Highly recommend her!!

I found her textbooks via pdf it wasn't hard, but REVEL you can get for free if you wait a few days before the final, (its an access code but theres a 14 day trial) but you'll have a lot to catch up on if you wait:/ Expect a lot papers, but they're doable. It really isn't a tough class if you manage your time wisely, like all online classes.

She is a very good teach. She listens to her student and help them out in they are confuse. She gives info that helps her student succeed not just in her class but the college. in conclusion, she loves her students and does not miss classes. Always in her office with a smile during her office hours.

Professor Asha Dey is a very inspirational teacher, She is an excellent teacher, her students make their best grade by doing the work required in this class. Yes Professor Dey does assign many homework assignments, however; I found these assignments to be paramount in my educational goals. Overall this class made me a better student. Great class.

Hi. Professor Asha Dey has been one of my best professors throughout the 2 years I've been coming to S.M.C.C. I love her teaching style because she has patience with her students and she shows step by step on how to do an assignment which helps me out a lot because I'm a visual leaner. I would take this class with her, and she is nice.

Professor Dey assigns homework maybe once a week but its very easy. You have to look at the chapters and find the answers to the questions and the discussion posts were very easy. It does take her a while to grade your assignments but she always gives you a good grade as long as you turn it in.

I had Asha Day for both CRE101 and CRI101. She's super understanding with late assignments and attendance, and if you ever need someone to talk to, she's a great person to count on. She gives a lot of homework—it's not hard, just very time-consuming. She's close to retiring, so be patient and ready to remind her of class details.
