There is one class presentation, 3 papers and a mini reseach paper, Her tests are easy if you read the assigned chapters and there was 2 open book tests. No Final. I HIGHLY recommend her!!

The class was easy. At first I didn't like Miller, seemed snobish/judgemental but I warmed up to her by the end. We had 3 out of class essays, a handful 4-5 in clas essays and a group project. Overall, didn't have a problem with the class. I would recommend her to others.

I have taken Ms. Miller for prep, ENC 1101 and 1102 and Ican tell you- you WILL NOT find a prof that cares more about her students! Our discussions were always fun and you learn more than just sitting there listening to the same boring stuff other profs teach. Take her- you will love her. Professor Miller is an awesome professor. I took her for Comp 1 and Comp 2. If you get anything less than an A (you need to reconsider your college education). She is to easy and understanding to make poor grades in her class. She's an awesome professor that gives lots of direction and very detailed.

She is awesome to the max!!! If you get anything less than a B you simply didnt try hard enough or you you were being lazy. She is as simple as they can get. Just turn in everything on time, participate in class, and it'll be a breeze. Her essays are based off you personally, and class discussions are fun. Just be open minded ;-)

Her class seems easy because it really is fun and the discussions are always interesting but she is no pushover when it comes to attendance or grading.She will make you re do essays if she thinks you are slacking off but in the end she just wants you to do good in the class and do your best. She is a nice lady and you will definitely like her.

This class was easier than I expected. 4 essays relating yourself and experiences, a presentation, and final research paper. Couple of random quizzes from The Little Seagull textbook (the other one we barely even used, maybe twice). If you're a good writer, this class is a breeze.

Best Comp professor. Take her, you really won't regret it! I hate writing, but She made it too easy! is extremely helpful, gives multiply chances to bring up grades, love her family stories. The only thing is, She loves a talkative class, So don't make it boring!.

After 3 attempts, I finally passed with an A. Very straight forward, best part is she doesn't expect you to be a lit major. Doesn't care if you don't understand the text, just as long as you try. She expects you to know how to write by her comp II class, so if you don't use the writing center. And yes, she's very beautiful, and friendly.

First off, if you don't make a good grade in prof.Miller's class it is your own fault!she is not one of those profs that just gives u back a paper with some random grade..she explains WHAT to do and really tries to help you improve. She does grade tough, but she lets you revise most papers for a higher grade. She is super nice too.

T is my 2nd class with Prof.Miller. She is a great teacher-very understanding and will explain things until you understand. I did better in her Comp 1 class, but I'm glad I took her again.

If you like online classes you will find professor Miller's class easy. Not too much work and she answers question anytime you need it. She is picky about grammar and stuff but overall it was a good online class and I would take her again.

This is the 3rd class I've taken online and I have been very happy with the way this professor teaches. There was a lot of assignments but none were too difficult. It took awhile to get grades back but she was good about answering emails and messages really fast and explaining things if you needed it.

This teacher is good, she can be difficult with her grading. This course is not an easy A, you actually have to work for your grade. I did term A and it was a busy class but not bad.

Professor Miller is super nice and will help you out with whatever you need to get good grades in her class. If you turn in assignments and read the stories before a quiz you will be set.

Probably one of the easiest English classes you could possibly take. With that said, I learned nothing in this class besides her life story. Perfect class if you're trying to breeze through English, but if you're looking for substance and inspiration (as most English majors seem to be doing), I'd recommend searching elsewhere.

I recommend this professor. She likes participation and strict on attendance but if you go to class and get assignments in on time you'll do fine.

Let me say first that I am horrible in English and was scared about this class especially as online class. Prof. Miller gives a lot of discussions and essays ,the final was a debatable research paper of 1200 words.I was scared because she grades things late so you never know where you stand, but I got an A. If you do the work you are fine.

I would recommend this professor if you are looking to take comp 1 online. The assignments are spaced out so that there's plenty of time to get papers, discussions or quizzes done and it's all layed out in a way that helps keep you organized which is nice if you aren't used to the format of online courses.

If English isn't your strong subject Professor Millers a good choice to take. She is super helpful and patient . I wouldn't call it an easy A but an easy B for sure. Just make sure you use the book for the quizzes she puts on Blackboard, they can be hard. First research paper I've ever done and I was totally fine.

Professor Miller is a really amazing teacher, i recommend her to anyone wanting to tale English Comp. Is an easy A and if you do bad on an essay she'll let you revise it for extra points. Final exam is a research paper, very easy class.

I never liked writing but i never got less than an A on her essays. I still don't know if its because im a good writer or if she's just a easy grader. Theres around 4 essays but they are on general topics like compare and contrast and narrative essays. Typically 500-700 word essays. Quizzes on black board. Lets class out early almost every time.

Amazing professor. Grading can be harsh but she gives feedback so you know what you need to improve. Go to her office hours if you need extra help, she's super nice and helpfull.

Professor Miller gives you many chances to get a good grade and will help you all the way if you try. She lets you re-do essays and tells you what to do to fix mistakes, etc. Quizzes are on blackboard and she sends reminders about assignments and due dates so it would be pretty hard to make any thing less that a B in this class.

Professor is great and class was actually fun. Mostly reading short stories and discussing them in class. Several papers but they were short discussion type papers.

I would highly recommend Prof. Miler as an English Comp teacher. She's a very good professor and very easy. A lot of assignments are in class, so it's very important you show up to class. The final is a research paper that you get a lot of time to work on. such a great teacher I'm taking her for English Comp 2 as well.

Took this professor for Comp 1 online and would highly recommend her for anyone taking online classes. Assignments were spaced out so not overwhelming and she constantly sent reminders about due dates and such. I think she scaled quizzes because I thought I had a B, but I received an A in the class.

She is so good! I was locked out of my BB the weekend that the final was due, and let me turn it in late for "half credit". In the end, she gave me the whole credit and I passed with an A because I was making A's before the lock out!! She is awesome, i recommend her class 100%

She's so nice! She's really sociable, loves to talk. She really wants participation though, at least give your opinion on a topic every once in a while. Not much homework, not too many tests... We do work in groups quite a lot, but it's honestly not that bad. You do have one bigger group project, but it wasn't a hard one. There when you need her!

Only 5 units. Units 1-3 have an essay at the end. Unit 4 & 5 are related, so at the end of 5 you have a research paper. Pretty easy class. The only thing I would change about Professor Miller is how fast she replies back or how fast she grades (which is understandable, given the amount of students she must have). Other than that, super easy prof :)

I've taken her for Fresh. Comp 1 and 2. She's so nice! Some group projects though not many, easy grades, easy A. There for you! Lots of reading but it's in class, and pretty fun. She does want participation but it's not a grade.

Prof. Miller is great. She clearly explains everything to expect in the syllabus and gives you great resources for papers such as checklists and presentations. I'm a pretty good writer so I passed the class fairly easily. She doesn't give much feedback though and she didn't challenge me as a student. Other than that, I enjoyed the class.

I recommend professor Miller. I'm not a super strong writer and I passed with a B in the class. There is a lot of reading so if you don't want to read the stories she assigns be prepared to be lost when it comes to quizzes and such. I learned a lot though and it was a good class. If you read and do all the work you will be fine.

Professor Miller was a great professor and has a great outlook on literature. She definitely keeps it interesting. There are a few papers , but as long as you put forth effort, listen and follow directions you should get a good grade. You need to attend class because there are a lot of in-class assignments.

Awesome class and amazing professor! The reading assignments weren't bad and it was really helpful that a lot of the class work was done in groups. I worked hard to try to get a B in the class but actually got an A!

This was a great professor. While I never emailed her much, the feedback on the assignments allowed me to progress in this class the way I wanted too. The entire semester I was fighting to get an A, and in the end I thought I had a B, but checked and had received an A in the class! She was great!

I really liked her and her class. She is a tough but reasonable grader. Put effort and read and you'll get an A. Follow her instructions and she gives example essays to help the student know what she is expecting. She is very clear on instructions. She made this class enjoyable.

I had Prof. Miller for ENC1101, but I was nervous about taking Comp 2 online. Now I'm SO glad I did! The way the course was organized in weekly units made it easy to keep up with assignments, and the instructions were all super clear. I panicked a couple times with format issues on my essays, but she was always quick to reply and help.

Professor has been extremely helpful at meeting with me for extra help with the essays. She grades tough on grammar but willing to help if you go to her office hour and ask for assistance. She is nice and makes it easy to be approachable.

I took her online, and it was a super easy A. I did not use the book AT ALL. You can find all the poems included online!! There is an essay in place of the final, and it was on a poem of your choice. My only complaint is it takes forever to grade work. Some assignments were not graded for a month.

So, to begin, I did find aaaaallllll the poems online & did not have to use my textbook at all. On another note, the class is an easy class. Do your work, and you pass. My only complaint is she literally will take over a MONTH to grade your work. So you never know what you make.

Easy class is writing so does get boring, but if you do your assingments you'll pass. My only complaint with her is she takes to dam long to grade you literally have no clue what your average is and class is literally over next week, definitely needs to change that habit. Other than that i would recommend her

Excellent professor, she can be quite tough be all her feedback is crystal clear. There is very little reading done in her class and only a few tests that are done online. Your grade is the result of your work. If you have the chance to take her class I recommend it!

First class I've ever taken online and I highly recommend this professor. The course was laid out in a way that made it easy to keep up with assignments and the essays weren't bad. I emailed her a lot and she was happy to help and replied quickly which was nice.

Overall it was a pretty easy course. One discussion post a week and a quiz. Very few essays, I only did one and I am halfway through the course. She does take off 2 or 3 points here and there for no explanation.
