I had him for a hybrid course and I got an "A" because I busted my tail and earned it. The toughest part about his class is the participation: it is required! He is helpful...but won't give the exact answer!

He is really cool teacher! All his quizzez and tests are straight from the study guide. He is easy and helpful too! I would take him again. He is highly recommended!

Great professor! Straight forward and easy on the gpa. Just do your work to the best of your ability and you will do fine. Tests are directly from his study guides. Anyone who says he is a bad instructor never cracked the book or studied the notes he gives. Take him! I understood him easily.

I am currently taking his half semester Math 1111 course, he is a awsome teacher, very easy, explains everything, funny, helpful. After the first test he said that he will add 3 points just like that and also he gives us a lot of tests, extra credit, a lot of chances to get an A in Math

Easy class. Tests and quizzes covered the stuff in the notes he gives and was rarely difficult. Those complaining of problems in the CSCI classes should probably learn a bit more about computing before taking CSCI. Compared to classes in a 4-year school, his CS classes are a breeze.

Great Teacher! I dropped 1101 with a "C" and then took half sem. w/ Chowdury/1111. He made things much clearer. I got an "A". Great sense of humor, helpful and kind. Please no childish nonsense. It is annoying to us all! He wants to teach, not babysit. Be respectful and he will bend over backwords to help you out! Would love to take him again.

EASY CLASS! I took the half semester course and it was so easy. There is no attendece policy. You can do all the assignments the 1st day of class and turn them in and you are done. Make sure you bring a floppy! TAKE!

Mr.C is AWESOME. He is passionate about making sure his students succeed. I was apprehensive about mastering Algebra, but he explained step by step, and he even stayed after class sometimes to ensure students understood a Math problem. He expects his students to fully participate in class and work hard, and he will give you 110%. Enjoyed his class!

This professor is a caring individual who will go to great lengths to make sure that his students understand a math problem. He will even stay behind after class with students who may have questions. He is thorough, but fair. Since taking his class, I am beginning to enjoy Math. Take his class - you will be glad you did.

If you know what your are supposed to do as a student, this is the right prof. to take. He simplifies the work load.His slides summerizes the book.For an assured easy A by just a little bit effort, I would strongly advice you take him.

I took his class fall semester 2005. It was an easy A. If you just study the information he provides to you; there isnt any excuse to get an A. Just dont procrastinate and if you dont get the labs; network with other ppls; then if you still dont get; ask professor Chowdhury. Take my advice and you may get an A at least you should pull a B. AWESOME! And very helpful he is a fantastic teacher...and very funny. One of my favorite college professors! His class is not hard...if you deserve an A you will get an A! Likewise with an F! but YOU WILL GET AN A! great class...fun and learned a lot!

It's not really a hard class, if you go to class, take good notes, and do all your work than you should come with atleast a B. However, if you have absoluelty no interest in computer nor have any basic knowledge than maybe this class is not for you.

This professor was very helpful, very funny. If you plan to take this class - stay a chapter ahead of him, you will breeze through this class. I'm upset he is not teaching Math0098. He is a UNIQUE Instructor. vb

He is very helpful! He knows his stuff, gave extra time for the project and even tests! Noone is better professor than him for CSCI 1300,,, I truly recommend him, EASY A!!

This class was an easy A.. REally Recommended even if you don't know anything about computers. If you don't finish your work on time, you can do it the same day its due in class, he's flexible

he's a great teacher, kind of thick accent, but still very clear, a moron who can't learn because of his accent is truly an idiot because it doesn't make a difference at all because he speaks so well. nice guy, helped a lot. will def. try and take him again.

Mr. Chowdhury is a pretty decent teacher. Although he teaches pretty fast and the language barrier sometimes made things difficult, he is still a pretty good teacher. I had some problems at first, but towards the end of the semester I had a better undertanding. He lets you know ahead of time what to expect on the test, which is a plus!

Very helpful teacher, will help you if you help yourself. would advise anyone to take him,and be respectful, if he sees you caring mutually will do his part.

He is very smart. knows his stuff, but his syllabus and other files are all over the place and somewhat confusing. i took the hybrid course for this class so he was able to explain it. I wouldn't suggest taking this class online though since his information is not very clear. Accepts late work and gives bonuses. tests are long and difficult.

he's a great teacher. keeps you focused and amused. he is not hard to understand, and gives you the opportunity to ask questions, or tell him when he's "not speaking English. my only complaint is that he assigns too many assignments to be due at once. i.e. we have 13 assignments and one quiz all due(on one date)before our next class. Overwhelming!

I liked this professor. However, he was not the best at explaining certain topics so I had to supplement with youtube and the textbook.

I am an international student in the U.S so i just start speaking english for a year. I can understand him clearly.

He is very really great lec for MATH 1001. He really cares for his students and wants everyone to get a good grade. He has 4 tests, midterm and a final test. Be throughly prepared with the review tests he gives you before the tests, try to make a 100% on homeworks (unlimited trails) and do good in quizzes and you will get a easy A for sure!

Mr. Chowdhury is a great professor. He doesn't want to see anyone fail his class. His tests aren't every hard if you actually pay attention and practice the work you will do fine. He gives out a few extra points on tests to help your grade out too. He explains everything clearly and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure you get it.

He is a good professor, he breaks it down to the simplest level and the work he solves are very easy to understand. I will say he does his part as a professor the rest are up to the students to do the work.

Professor Chowdhury is a great teacher overall. If you consider yourself to be good at math, quantitative skills will come easy to you. We completed homework and quizzes on MyMathLab and had four tests plus a final. He would often add extra points to tests to help the class average. He really cares about his students but you have to work too.

He is very caring. His way of teaching is supernatural. He simply summerizes the hardest parts and does not like his students fail at all.

Please do not hesitate to take him for any of your classes because he teaches in a way that is understandable, like he shows all the steps and cares alot about the marks of his students. He will even give bonus points or quizzes for exams where students have not performed well. Also, you can approach him if you have any problems.

Good teacher, he gave us several extra credit opportunities and even reopened the online homework for those who missed it. He can sometimes be a bit confusing when explaining difficult concepts, but if you ask him questions he will always explain further. If you seriously struggle with math he may not be the best bet but otherwise i recommend him

You get lots of homework, but you get great preparation for tests. I would love to be in his class again if I got a chance.

There is alot of homework but if you have time to do it it's very easy. The proffeser has everything you need to learn in the content tab in Icollege and everything else is in MyLab very easy. You should not struggle in this class. The only reason i saw myself lacking behind is when i didnt study so seems pretty simple... Just Study.

I honestly don't get the negative reviews . I was hesitant to take his class because of the reviews, but my experience was completely different. he explained difficult concepts in a way that was easy to understand and he always answers my questions during class and helped me when i'm stuck. he also gives bonus quizzes.
