It doesn't get much worse. 3 Exams, 6 problems (and he doesn't know english)

Speaks NO English. Very intelligent man but just does not know how to teach the material.

HE does not speak english very well..he puts you into assigned seats in alphabetical order...and doesn't care if you can't see the board...he moved me to a location that was even worse. His favorite phrase.. class follows? We didn't. 5 prob tests..ha

Worst class i have had. He teaches way too quickly ie. a prob that should take 10-20 mins, he does in 5 and then starts another. does it as fast as he can write

Worst teacher ever. took two weeks off which teaching us because he didn't feel like coming in, gave 120 minute test for an hour class,not helpful, material was worthless, graded horribly, tests were only three huge problems with numbers that did't fit

Worst class and teacher. Very tough!!! Couldnt teach at all. Him= equations and pencil and paper. Pierce= easy, and did a lot of computer related stuff, not stone age stats. I withdrew

this dude has no idea how to teach. He knows less about teaching than he does about the english language. Every day is an adventure in trying to understand what he is saying. Why does he teach binary? I asked dean camp (biz school) why we needed to learn binary and he said he had no idea why that was taught in dr.nahoouraii's class.terrible teacher

worst teacher ever. can't teach. very bad at giving directions. lecture has nothing to do with text. made students buy textbooks that we never used. we never even opened them nor did he mention them once. mine is still in the plastic. this dude does not deserve to be a college professor. boring class. teaches like we are all in high school.

rude to students. treats them like kids, are we in high school again? unclear, bad at teaching. I guess he used to be cool from looking at other reviews but hes not this year. Everyone walks out of this class early. its sad. unprepaired for class, sometimes late. busy work assignments.

He is he. Only want to get money not to teach. I don't understand why IUP still has such old and unknowledgable professor. Don't take his class.

teach binary conversion in all the classes he teaches. never prepared for his classes.

If you place no value on your time and education, then by all means, take his class.

If you go to class, and don't need to learn ANYTHING, this is your guy. He thinks who is very smart and knows a lot. He's outdated. His information is from the stone ages and he could be an average 101 professor. Made me change my major from Computers and business in general. Bad reputation for Eberly! Avoid at all costs.

This class was completely pointless. The professor does not speak English very well, and teaches you the most pointless things. The class is almost completely based on group papers and in class assignments. What he actually "teaches" is information you will never use about computers. TRY to take someone else!

Only writing to try and save people money and time. Horrible communicator, extremely arrogant, and does not care about students. Had to withdraw from his class and I received an A in calc the semester before. I am not a bitter idiot that doesn't put any effort it, save your money, time and save your belief in the university to hire correctly.

One of the worst professors I've ever had. His accent is thick, but even if it wasn't the guy has zero communication/legitimate teaching skills. His lectures make simple statistics far more confusing than they have to be. The book is the only thing that saved me in this class.

Don't do it. Just don't. If you take any advice from anyone ever, don't take this class with him as your teacher. Unnecessary stress.

Do not take this class, currently in it for QBUS215. He is condescending, hardly understand his accent, and stands in front of the board after he writes all over out of order. Awful professor, should be fired. This guy should not be teaching at IUP.

Let's just say this... if you're a good teacher yourself and feel comfortable teaching yourself this entire course, you're fine! I went to class a total of twice per month, and I got A's on both exams because i literally sat in the library for hours upon end teaching myself everything out of the textbook because Dr. At couldn't do his job.

Very nice guy, he wants you to do well but his class is impossible. There are 2 exams and 1 final exam. Each only have 4 questions and are worth 25 points each. There is no homework or attendance policy, I went to every class took notes every class and still barely got by. Avoid if possible

The hardest class I have ever taken. Awful at teaching and explaining things. My best advice is go to class and go to tutoring and he will pass you

my worst experience in school. very unfair and judgmental. as long as you get high grades in his online class, he would automatically think that you had assistance from other people. therefore, he would ask you to have a test after the semester is done. if you register that class online, be prepared not to ace the exams , or you are a cheater.

BAD. BAD. BAD. I did poorly on exam and he announced to the entire class how I did. I have never been so disrespected in my entire college career. He will belittle you and talk down to you. GET THIS MAN OUT OF IUP

Dr. Ata is a terrible professor. Hes only gives 3 exams with 4 questions on each exam. Thats it for your grade. His handwriting is messy, he doesnt explain things, and if you have questions he looks at you like youre stupid. I highly recommend finding a different class, unless you want to teach yourself the material and hope for the best.

Awful professor. 1st day of class he asked us what book we want to use. You're the professor, you should have that chosen. Didn't receive a syllabus until the 3rd week. Complains about students cheating and not trying but doesn't go over a lot of the material on tests. The project was a disaster. Almost no direction until the last week. AVOID!

WORST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD! He was inaccessible due to extremely limited office hours. Anytime someone in our class said they didn't understand, he made it seem like it was our fault and not his and then provided ZERO clarification. You were graded on 3 exams of 4 questions each. Worst in-person class experience. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!!!

Every get a tooth pulled and break your leg at the same time? No? Well you'll sure feel the same pain if you take this professor. Don't worry, IUP cares about your education. Oh did I say education? I mean money. This guy has sued the school multiple times when they removed him for being awful, so that's why he's still there when he's 300 years old

Best advice you can get: DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR FOR ANY CLASS!!!

The worst professor I've ever experienced at IUP. Extremely condensing and hypocritical, there have been multiple incidents where he has harassed and bullied students and then goes on to say he doesn't want to pick on anyone. Relies on the class to teach the material and literally throws a tantrum when no one participates.

The content is pretty easy to understand but the lectures are legitimately useless. Ata is probably the worst professor Ive had, he doesnt seem to care about explaining content and he seems to take joy in embarrassing students.

Do not take it. Save yourself.

1) 3 exams- 4 questions, 25 points each question. Something got wrong he will take off all 25 points off additionally he is also taking points off for the right answers which leaves no hope to pass this class. 2) His lectures are pointless he does not teach he mumbles and does not cover anything that you will see in homework or exams. AVOID!!!!!!!!

Papers you have to do for this class..... well do not expect to know why he took off points because you will never see your papers ever again nor will get any explanation on your grade. Exams worth less than papers because he grades the papers. AVOID LIKE A HAZARD REQUEST A DIFFERENT PROFESSOR THEY WILL UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've experienced two different colleges and this is single-handedly the worst professor I've ever had. Constantly arguing with and belittling students, spends numerous hour-long sessions going over material NOT even related to your course you're taking nor in the book, and has the most vaguely-graded group assignments ever. Avoid this professor.

When he displays papers on the board you spend 10 mins trying to navigate him to the right spot because he is too old to turn his head around. This man basically crawls to class and has to hang onto the board while trying to chicken scratch information on the board. He complains and tells students that they don't pull their own weight for the class

nahourail is a sad old man. he scolded a student in my class for going to the bathroom during a lecture, has handwriting that is less than legible, and has constant miscalculations when showing his work on the board. if I were to sum up his ability as a professor l'd argue: incompetent, irritable, fragile, and mismanaged.

His grading is incredibly vague and does not follow his own syllabus. He spends at least 40% of the class complaining about random BS instead of teaching. Once a week, he has to remind the class that he wasn't canned from his last job (which we never asked about). He is easily the worst professor at IUP. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!!!

He is a tough grader considering he does not tell you what he expects. The only grades for the entire semester are three tests. He teaches things needed for the test outside of class.

To clarify, I took this class online. Professor Nahouraii provided no supplementary materials, and instead has us read and work directly out of the textbook with 0 direct involvement. Toss in homework assignments with relatively short time limits that don't allow you to learn the material, and you have a recipe for disaster.

Worst professor I've had hands down. Lectures and homework are loosely related, rambles incoherently about nonsense, and spends most of class time talking about how nobody participates. What really kills me is how he teaches, HE DOESN'T! Be prepared to do a lot of self learning in this class. It's evident that he needs to retire.

This class was online and felt like you were thrown into the content with zero help. All the work is on Connect with just the online book and then timed homework. He gave no further instructions, help on chapters, or explanations of the materials. Be prepared to try and teach yourself all of the material yourself.
