Very easy teacher.

Well, he started off the class cracking jokes, and lively. After the first week he seemed distracted, not having fun, and we consistently got out of class two hours early. Everyone seemed to think something was going on with him. I got a B in the class, and I got a 74, 56, 57, on the tests. Not having labs was lame b/c electricity labs are fun.

Keep up with your homework and you should do fine. He helps everyone who needs it cause he doesnt want anyone to fail. Attend class everyday and on time and he will help you out. Make sure you do the problems assigned because most of the test is based on those exact probs

Professor Zamani is a great teacher, he's really sweet, and very helpul. He really knows his stuff and is willing to answer questions to make sure the class understands the material. The tests are difficult, but if you complete the homework you will do fine.

Mr. Zamani is very good at explaining things that you don't understand. He has a strange sense of humor, but he makes class interesting. He is an excellent instructor and I highly recommend him.

Do your homework! Exams problems are form homework. You have to read the book and have questions before class is over; he will work out all the problems you ask of him. In that respect extremely generous teacher. Won't spoon feed.

I reccommend this teacher very highly. There is a lot of homework in this calc miniterm class, (what do you expect?) but I couldnt ask for a more helpful teacher. Anytime anyone was confused he took the time to help and he was really nice. ALSO, if you really want to LEARN, you should take this teacher because he really knows what he's teaching!

read the book for multiple choice and practice the problems given on the homework...that is the test.

This guy is so funny. I took him for math 1325 (business calc) and I hate math but he made it fun. He is extremely helpful. Tests are just like his examples and the final is EXACTLY EXACTLY EXACTLY like the review. AWESOME! I got a B. I'd go as far as to say that this is the best teacher I've ever had.

He is a really good teachear, he will stay with you after class if you have any question, I will take him for any other class if I have to.

Hey was very helpful and was always willing to answer questions and help with problems in any way possible. He went over all problems that seemed to give the class trouble.

Reasonable teacher who cares about his students. If I had more classes to take that he taught I would sign up with him. He is willing to help with understanding and clarity, quick to smile, mild-mannered and a decent guy.

Awesome teacher, he teaches at WCJC too. He will solve all the problems you have with understanding physics. This is the only teacher you should take physics.

Even though College Algebra is not a piece of cake, this professor will help you to the best of his ability. He truly works with you and looks at all aspects of your participation towards the class(homework, attendance, etc.)

Dr. Zamani is one of the BEST teachers I have had since going back to college. He is very patient with learning disabilities, ie...dyslexia like myself. Teaches with a smile and a lot of encouragement to students that have rough times. I enjoyed being in Dr. Zamani class had recommend him to everyone that needs to take a Physics class!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr Zamani is a great teacher. I took him for physics and had a real hard time understanding the subject before but he made it as clear as rain. I would definetly reccomend this proffesor to my fellow students and I promise you will not regret it. God sent us an angel to teach us physics. :)

Most understanding instructor i've taken in my college career. He is an awesome teacher! I highly recommend you taking him for both Physics courses.

He is a great instructor, no question, just take him. I and II univ phys.

Took U.Physics 1&2 w/ him. 4 exams (5 problems, 25 multiple choice) worth 80%, the other 20% comes from 20 HW problems per chapter. Won't move on if you doesn't understand something (which is rare because he explains so well). Won't make you feel stupid for asking the same question 20 times. Thanks so much Dr. Zamani! Sorry it took so long to rate!

A very good lecturer who shows concern for all his students

A wonderful teacher and a sweet guy! Really cares about his students and wants to see us succeed. Funny, respectful, organized, wont overwork you. Wont leave a topic if you dont understand. I talked to friends taking other profs, and test averages in Dr. Z's class were 30-40 pts higher than others. His class fills up FAST, so register early!

Professor Zamani is an amazing teacher. His tests are extremely fair and coincide with material taught/discussed in class, therefore no SURPRISES when it comes to test days. He will help you 100% of the way and truly wants to see you succeed. He is very funny and just an all around good person. I HIGHLY recommend that you take a class with him!!

Hes the sweetest teacher u will ever meet!He doesnt give reviews but gives u 40 questions to study &5 of them will be exactly the same quesiton on the exam.He also gives a nice curve at the end of the semester &it can bump u up a letter grade.Make sure u do all the homework he assigns bc that is a major part of ur grade!Overall take him hes great!

Oh... he is a good teacher i have ever met. He makes me not shy, more confident to ask questions. He gives you chances to increase your grade. Don't worry when you get a bad grade... He wants all his students to pass. Take him if you want grade A or B. Even sometime i didn't understand what he was teaching because of his pronunciation but it's ok.

From what you've read about him, I have nothing more to tell. He's the most wonderful teacher I've ever met. Each exam covers 4 chapters, even the final. You'll get 100 on homework and lab report as long as you follow the instruction. Do the homework and study for the multiple choices, you'll pass with an A/B.

mr. zamani is excellent. he teaches so good and always helpful to students. his paperstyle is 50 mcq and 5 main end-of-chapters problems which are worth 50 points. i recommand him for phys 1401 and also university physics. plus, hes so funny. he jokes around to chill u in class.

Professor Zamani is a great Professor. He's very kind and understanding. You still have to do the work. Physics is not easy. He encourages you to do your best and will help when you need it. Do the HW and you'll do good on the test. He generouse with grades and takes into consideration the class average. Will wait until he teaches Physics II.

I put 50 points each questions . 5 questions are worth each 10 points which makes total of 50.

He is a good teacher. He does a little bit of fun in class. He gives you 10 home work questions from which 5 will be in exam and each worth 50 points. He understands the problem of students. Final is not comprehensive. so you will have less to study.

Coming into this class, i thought physics would be alot easier than it was. Zamani is a nice guy and wants everybody to get a good grade. Attend the class, and do the homework, and youll be alright. Dont forget the popcorn!

Prof Zamani is an excellent teacher. Let's face it: physics is gross and hard! If anyone is going to make is easy for you, it is the very intelligent prof Zamani! He relates difficult concepts to easy, real-world applications. His exams are multiple choice and short answer, SO DO THE HOMEWORK! THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME ON THE SHORT ANSWER!!

Physics is a hard class by nature but Mr.Zamani will help you throughout the process. He's very organized and he REALLY cares about the students. Do Homework and ask a lot of questions because he will gladly answer them all.

I highly recommend Professor Zamani to any one who is planning on taking Physics. He teaches with the aid of powerpoint,however the slides are concise and up to the point.The tests consist of 25 MCQs (which are aren't THAT difficult) and 5 Questions (which have already been assigned to you previously). Physics is hard to study (specially when I am non-speaking English) and my first test was not good. Later, I always got the best grades. He gave the test exactly what he had taught and explained before. In addition, communicate is perfect because he used to listen to students and helped. So I recommend everybody should take his class. (only 2 students had dropped my class, interesting right???)

He is a nice helpful teacher but tests are hard. He does not give reviews to study. But at the end of the semester you get a surprise grade of A. I was not so good at physics and always got c on his tests. But my final grade was A. I participated in class, was good at attendance and submitted all my lab works. He is very liberal and very cute.

Took this at wcjc during summer 1 session. Professor Zamani was probably one of the best and most helpful professors I have ever had. He would always make sure students understood the concept and promoted asking questions. He'd take an entire hour to explain a problem. AmAZING TEACHER! Really nice and funny. 10/10 from me! Professor Zamani is neither easy nor hard. He is FAIR. you have to work hard for your grade and he helps you alot. If you are looking for an easy A, i suggest you look elsewhere. Zamani is the first professor I ever rated. At times, he is the cutest thing ever, not in that way. He is a really nice guy and cares about every student, wants to help you do the best in the class. He doesn't like failing people. You can't go wrong taking Zamani.

The key here is to do the homework. You will learn the material if you do the assigned homework. This professor's methods are superior to those of other physics instructors at HCC whose methods seem more calculated to create confusion rather than to help you learn the material.

Prof: Zamani is an excellent instructor for Physics. The way he explains problems are crystal clear. He is very helpful, and cares about every student in his class. He chooses test Q's from H.W. If you want to learn Phys then take him. I am going to take him for Phys 2326 too, because Prof: Zamani is a great instructor and a nice person.

Professor Zamani comes with a high recommendation from me and other students in his Monday-Wednesday Physics 1401 class. In my talks with other students he gets a lot of praise from my fellow class mates. They all will take his class again if offered in the fall 2012. He is very fair and just and has a lot of compassion for his students

Physics is a tough subject and this class required a lot of studying. The exams have short answer and multiple choice. The multiple choice can be difficult but the short answer comes straight from the homework. Professor Zamani will give you plenty of opportunities to improve your grade if you are struggling.

Lots of extra credit opportunities!

This isn't the easiest subject and there is a lot of content to be covered throughout the semester, but professor Zamani tries his best to help his students. He provides formula sheets and conversion tables for all tests, he goes as many times as needed over homework questions, and he also offers plenty of extra-credit opportunities.

if you are looking for somebody that cares about you learning and your grade take his class , he is the best professor in the entire hcc campus( spring branch) he explain really good and hi takes time to go over the homework so you can do good in the test. test are not hard. and plenty of extra points. Throughout the semester I was really worried I would do bad in the class because of my low test grades BUT I ended up with an A because I attended class, did the extra credit, and asked questions. I will say though that what he teaches in class is really simple and the tests/homework are difficult BUT ask questions and SHOW HIM YOU TRIED.

This class is demanding if you are taking it in the summer session. After every chapter there is a homework (which we go over hard problems the following day). Dr. Zamani really wants you to understand what he is teaching. He's a good professor and is willing to help you out, but you need to do the work and show you're trying.

Very nice teacher when talking one on one. Posts slides from the lectures (useful!). Get ready to use your algebra! Also, try to keep up with doing the examples in the chapter; they really do help. Tests are straight from the homework.

Professor is really nice. He explains very well any concepts that are not clear. Tests are not tough as long as you do your homework assignments and read lecture slides that are put up online on the webpage.You have to practice algebra though in order to get good grades.I enjoyed his class!

Great professor! He knows his material really well and wants the students to learn and do well in his class. The multiple choice questions are hard but if you're a pre-med/pre-dent/engineering student than they will help you prepare for what's ahead for you. I learned a lot in this class!

You must read and do the HW. It is PHYSICS, so having a strong math background helps. Mr. Zamani is fair and wants everyone to do well. Test for from the hw, and multiple choice are mostly conceptional based questions

Professor Zamani really wants to help his students learn and is willing to explain any questions people have. Physics is still a difficult class, but if you read the book and practice the homework problems you will do fine.

The subject is challenging but Professor Zamani will help you as much as possible. He assigns homework and the problems you have issues with are reviewed in class. Read the Chapter ahead if possible, take notes on the power point, try you best to understand the chapter and homework problems and you will be fine. Attendance is mandatory.

He's method of teaching is ok, but he's very patient and will do the problems 10 times if you do not understand. Test are the same as the homework so you can even memorize it. Drops the lowest grade, gives extra credits, curves a lot the tests. Easy A but you still have to study a lot.

Prof Zamani is best professor! He has four exams. Lowest grade is dropped. He gives you 40 hw problems and sample problems from the book You have to study hard but he doesnt even change the numbers. Very very helpful will go over material ten times if you dont get it. Highly Recommended!

However, he did not teach us to do half of the problems in the final exam. Recommended if you want an easy A.

You can get an A if you put in the work. The short answer part of the tests come straight from the homework, so make sure to pay attention to detail. He gives pop quizzes which aren't necessarily easy. Its best to stay on top of your reading and taking the time to learn the major concepts.

He is the best prof ever!!! i took him during the summer with cal and full time job. he is very very clear on what he expect and on how he grade. tests are 2 parts, 1st part is multiple choice and the second part is 5 calculations(straight from the homework, yeah even the numbers are the same). he goes over the HW in class,few easy lab reports.

Very good professor who does his best to see you succeed. There is a lot of reading you have to do but the tests come straight from the homework. They are still pretty hard tests but he does what he can to make sure you don't just fail. Even if you fail on tests do not just drop the class. He will find a way to make sure you have good grades A or B

His explanations and examples are so clear. He wants to make sure everybody passes the class, and if you get a F in one of your exams, he will help you to do better in your next exams. He always gives u a second chance to do well. Listen his lecture and go over the homeworks and u will pass.

I took him over the summer, and to be honest, physics is too tough for me to take it within 5 weeks. I had no time to study well and do the hw. But this prof helped, A LOT. He gave extra credits, dropped tests, etc. and his tests are predictable. Put in a some work, and you can pass easily.

I took him for a lab and let me tell you that this is the guy. Do not turn in labs late... if you do no have the calculations, print out what you have, add the pictures and all data you have from the computer's program. Sometimes it was too hard for me to find the calculations, so I put all data... as much as I could... I got A...

I still have a very loose grasp of physics but I passed the class and got the credit. If you're there to get the credit its golden, but if you need to learn it's not ideal. He's very sweet and cares about his students, you'll stress out most of the 5 weeks but the final curve is a lifesaver.

He truly cares about the success of his students. Participation is a must and so is attendance. If you show him that you truly care about your grade, then he cares about you doing well in the class. Study the HW and youre golden. If you have a problem understanding, stop and ask him to explain and he will do it. He is very patient. BOOK is KEY!

I took the class over the summer. The book is important for trying to understand concepts. He definetly encourages students to participate and always has us go over questions on the homework we don't understand. Labs are explained very well and made easy. Tests are difficult, but homework helps with free response. He cares about students passing.

This class requires a lot of studying but its doable. Exams are 50% multiple choice and 50% work out. The work outs are from homework problems from textbook copy and pasted. Work the homework problems 3-4 times to make sure to get all 50 points. Professor Zamani tries his best to help you succeed and hes not trying to fail you. I would recommend.

Enjoyed the experience overall and no huge issues with him. Very understanding and lights up the room with his corny jokes and smile. Some criticisms though would be: to go more in depth for problems and concepts, I felt sometimes hed skim over a concept that needed more attention. Also make sure you understand your homework at a good level.

Ive been avoiding taking physics due to all the bad comment of other professors as well as physic itself being a hard class but, after taking this professor It wasn't so bad. His lab reports are the most basic one's I have seen. As long as you follow his criteria which is more than easy you should be good. He also demonstrates the lab to before you do it by yourselves, but I akways took his demo to work since he always did the demo right next to our desk. Professor Zamani is such a great and fun professor. If you need help understanding a equation or problem he will go through it and explain the process. He gives you exam reviews and questions that are similar to the exam the day before, this is your time to ask questions about the material or the homework. He makes physics a lot more fun.

Do the work, the assignments and labs as well as the exams. Our online class had 14 assignments, 3 exams not including the final and 14 lab reports. Read your chapters and stay ahead you should pass this class easily. Also this was a summer course that was only 4 weeks so very fast paced.

This professor is one of the easiest ones I've taken for a lab class. Day one he explained that all we had to do was show up, finish the lab with our group, and make our own lab report on it. Even if you forget to submit on time, he graded after the due dates. There was nothing else to it. If you want an easy physics lab, take this professor.

The labs are very simple to understand and complete. You get to work with a group of four, and you typically take no longer than an hour and a half to finish. He gives you the structure on how he wants his lab reports to be done on the first day, and going forward, they are simple to repeat. Please take him if you need this class.
