This teacher is helpful. His tests are hard though. He is willing to help if you need more explaination on something covered in class. I studied so much in this class. It's a very difficult class. He is very knowledgeable about Physics. He is caring. I always stop by his class to say hi even though I'm no longer in his class and he remembers me.

Sometimes he goes REALLY slow but he explains stuff well.

Very good natured man, and enjoyable to learn from. Sometimes is a little redundant however. Very laid back and is glad help a student do well.

This is a pretty easy class. If you want a good grade then take this class. Professor Zamani is a very sweet guy but if you ask him a question he just keeps repeating himself. His tests are really easy though.

If you don't like physics, then take him. If you like physics and your degree is based on physics knowledge do not take him. His tests are open book and no quizes! If you asked question don't be upset if he started repeating himself!! .. and Good Luck :)

If you do not like physics, then take him because you are not gonne have to think a lot. But, if your degree is based on physics then do not take him because he is so easy so you are not going to know eveything .. and Good luck

His class is difficult and requires much studying to understand content material. His teaching is slow and thorough and does not move on until the class has gotten it. he is available Any time you need, and is VERY helpful. just do the homework and ask questions, you'll be golden. I recommend him for all.

He is very nice and considerate. But homework was too much for summer school. He goes pretty slow in the lecture, so I had to study independently. 3 exams were taken, 3 lab reports and homework from Ch. 15-29 with almost 10 problems each. The final exam was the BEST!!!!!

Tests have the exact same problems as the homework. Doesn't really do examples, just teaches all theory. Nice guy. Talks slowly though. TELL him you want an A--he'll help you get there. His multiple choice is really difficult though.

A friendly teacher. Tests 1 & Final not open book, 2&3 open book. May drop a low test grade. Weights tests towards easier chapters. Easy final. Lectures very slow. Lecture/Homework answers leave you feeling you are missing something.

Mr Zamani is a great teacher. He tries his best to make students understand physics. The subject is hard. Test ARE NOT OPEN BOOK, he doesnt give reviews. His test are basically 5 hw problems and 25 multiple choice questions. Take him if you are not good in physics.

Tests are 5 HW problems and 25 multiple choice questions- multiple choice questions are tough and he doesnt really give you that much info on them. overall, it is a good class to take and he is a nice guy who keeps the class fun and lively. OH and there is no open book test- happy meal= rescheduled test-thats it.

Agree with the comment below. You need to put in several hours outside of class to learn the concepts. But this is physics. Professor is a nice guy and i reccomend u take this class with Zamani. Labs were also fun.

Good prof. Fun class. be prepared to do a lot of work outside of class. Only bad thing about the class is the multiple choice questions which he pulls from some random place and really dont relate to the reading at all. so you can do decent on half his exam and then not so well on the other half.

His class is tough if you take it during the summer sessions. You MUST do your homework read in order to be somewhat successful. There are 5 questions from the HW on the test and the MC has nothing to do with what you've learn, so be prepared for anything. Make sure to have King Sized Kit-Kats on hand to persuade him to delay test dates.

Mr. Zamani is a really nice, genuine guy. He really tries his best to keep his students happy. Doing the homework is a must. The tests aren't too bad but the class can be frustrating at times. If you are interested in a challenging course that forces you to really understand physics, this might not be your best option, but otherwise its very nice.

i would say he is a nice guy, but it really doenst matter at the end of the day. MULTIPLE CHOICE IS TERRIBLE!!!!!!

He is a nice guy and funny. He only helps with the homework for the multiple choice you are on your own, he doesn't help.He also is extremely slow and is often late. Class seemed to go on forever. Its an ok class I wish he would have helped with the multiple choice more instead of saying read the book which doesn't help.

in all fairness, he is a lazy teacher. came to class late and test was pretty much 50% homework problems (not complaining about that)they were easy and required that you spend a lot of time doing hw outside of class. what was bad is that he pulled multiple choice questions out of a random source. didnt have anything to do with the chapters we read.

I took Professor Zamani for Fall 2010 on a Saturday. The classes were long,but I enjoyed every moment of the day. He is a great teacher, was extremely concerned with his students progress and was there to help whenever it was needed. He taught me to appreciate the concepts of Physics. Hard work, dedication and communication is the key. KGodsey

He's really funny and his class was easy as long as you made an effort. He goes over the homework in class if you have any questions, so it's ok if you don't understand everything at first. He helped out a lot and wants everyone to get a good grade!

You cannot ask for a better man to teach this subject. He gives students hope that they can always do better. Took him for saturday class 8-4 and he made the time go by fast with his entertaining style. Tests are hard and are based off HW. If you can master his HW you can master his tests which are short ans and MCQ. Take him it will be worth it.

Took a Saturday (8-3) class. He mainly reads off ppt's for lectures and uses book ex as examples. When asked for him to explain homework problems, he only pulls up answer key for us to read it. Gives "partial credit" on exam based on the correct answer for parts, not for work done. Understanding homework, book ex, and formulas help with exams.

He is an amazing professor!! Take his class and you will not regret it. He is super sweet and understands your situation. He makes class fun! He gives pop quizzes but they aren't hard. Just do the HW, study the chapters and participate.

Professor Zamani is a more than fair teacher. Although his lecture style isn't my favorite (usually power points from the text book), you learn everything you need to pass by doing his homework assignments, which are moderate. Test questions directly come from the homework. Even if you don't do great on the tests he gives extra credit in the end.

Be prepare to teach yourself the material and know the concepts for the test than just the formulas. The homework is challenging but the professor is willing to help in class. He is a fair professor and he is willing to help you with grades.

Professor Zamani is an awesome physics professor. Physics in general is a really tough subject, but Zamani makes it as easy as it can possibly be. You will not regret taking this class.

He really cares about the students, is always trying to put a smile on everyone. Pay attention to his examples because quizzes at the end of class come from them. Test problems come from book examples and homework so make sure you work on your homework as you go through the chapters.

He really cares for his students, and tries to make everything interesting and makes you laugh. If you have any questions with homework feel free to ask him, he doesn't want anyone to get behind and will help you understand each topic.

DON'T take this professor if you want to actually learn and retain the material. He is SO SO SO boring, does not explain the concepts only reads off the publisher powerpoints. His labs are a joke, terrible professor. Never again. Satuday section was a nightmare.

This class is ridiculous. He "teaches" by reading the powerpoints provided by the textbook publisher, and grades exactly according to their solutions guide. Anything other than the published solution is WRONG. However, he gave huge credit boosts, due to the class failing miserably. If you want to actually learn something, this isn't the prof. for u

He gave us a "review" before our last test( 5 problems that weren't even ON THE EXAM! doesnt even teach or go over homework! You have to be a computer to get an A in this class

Literally just reads powerpoints and then says "it's in the book". He even made a mistake on the test and didn't know why it was wrong until the class showed him it in the book. The good ratings on here are from HIM! STAY AWAY! This class is nearly impossible to pass with as a "teacher". More like babysitter because noThing is taught. Also an A st.

This guy doesn't know what he is teaching he repeats the simple things on the power points that are obvious and stays away from the real concepts and hard problems because he can't do them. Take away the pps and he doesn't know how to teach. Doesn't go over homework, tests, or review. Exams are nothing like hw or pp even though he says it is;

The other 25 problems on exams are randomly selected from more problems in the back of chapters(Not even assigned). Doesn't go over test. Doesn't really go over lecture. Just uses power points made by pearson. STAYAW

Physics is a hard class and you have to work for your grade. But Mr. Zamani does all he can to help us out!!

I had good experience with him. He wants every student to succeed. I am taking him again for physics II (1402). This class is a lots of work. So be ready to spend time and put in effort to ace it. He doesn't provide reviews and offers extra credit. Overall, I would recommend this professor.

If you like professors reading from their power point (from Pearson), lack of in depth explanations on many problems, lack of self-examination when the class he's teaching is literally failing as a whole, delaying class start time, lack of enthusiasm in the teaching, and huge credit boost so his record isn't tainted. Worst professor that I have taken. Test grades should be higher, but since he knit-picks and grades only off of the way HE would do the problem, you get zero credit for the problem. Got points taken off because I didn't show my simple math such as my 2+24's and what not, which is total BS. Thinking of reporting him to the Dean and Department Head.

I took both physics 1 and 2 . There are 3 exams ans 1 final. 25 multiple choice and 5 written. He's amazing and very nice and he's teaching style is amazing. I'd take him again.

The professor will give you extra credits to improve your grade, but you have to work for it. If you decide to take his class, just go for it.

He genuinely cares for the success of his students. Physics is a hard subject, but he's willing to work with you so that you can do well in his course, and provides plenty of opportunities for you to help your grade (extra credit, easy labs, etc). Go to class, DON'T be afraid to talk to him and ask him for help in the course, and you'll do fine.

Professor Zamani's class is not easy (PHYS 1402 is not easy in general). However, he truly cares about his students and gives them opportunities for extra credit. Very understanding. Don't be afraid to talk to him. And, if you do decide to take him, DO NOT WITHDRAW. You won't regret sticking to him.

I really struggle with any physics and this professor was amazing! It was a difficult class (I took it during the summer) but the professor was SO helpful. There was a lot of homework, but his test reviews were helpful and he did whatever he could to help people out. I wish I could take him again!

DON'T DROP. He guarantees an A or a B if you do the homework, labs, and solve the homework problems on the board. Everything was due for me on December 15, so that was nice. At first, his exams were multiple choice AND free response; however, if the class protests, he will make the tests 5-8 questions FROM THE HOMEWORK. Lots of extra credit too.

What a sweet man. Professor Zamani is the nicest person you will ever meet. He wants you to succeed and tries his best to help you. Don't be lazy and do your homework, lab reports, show up to class and show respect. He really appreciates when students pay attention. Be nice to him, he deserves it! Work hard and it will pay off.

Like math or other science courses, physic is very challenge. However, professor Zamani will help you feel less stress. You need to do you work. Using homework and PPT to practice and reinforce your knowledge before the test. You also should sit down and read the text book. If you are doing those things, you will knock this challenge course out :-)

So far the worst professor I have had at Lone Star. He does not go over material only uses PPT supplied by an outside source. His exam structure is awful. He lets you use formulas, just make sure to bring one because he will not always supply a formula sheet for the exams that can help you get the right answer.

Prof. Zamani is an older guy but is very nice. He's got a bit of an accent that makes some words sound funny but he knows it and will poke fun at himself. The power points are a bit long but they make the information pretty clear. Don't take the Saturday class unless you like a 5 hour and 2 minute class. But that's not his fault. Online homework.

He reads from the slides and doesn't really teach with explaination. Be prepared to teach yourself. Read the chapters before class, read the powerpoints, and do the homework early. Even then you will probably still stress the whole semester.

He half reads every page of every chapter directly from the book with no explanation on how to do problems. We started class 30 minutes late every class and only did 3 labs the entire semester because his power points(the book) are an average of 300 slides per class. This class is not only a waste of time its a waste of money you will learnnothing

Professor Zamani is incredibly understanding and flexible. If you have a problem at home or at work, he will work with you. He posts his lecture slides online and if you do poorly on the tests, he curves. If you prove you are a participating student, he will ensure that you pass or get a good grade. However, the final is cumulative and hard.

Took this class over the summer and I got a B. professor Zamani is really caring and awesome person. If you really want to learn the material dont take the class over the summer is really fast paced and you need lots of time. Labs, 3 test, lowest grade replaced w final and hw in mastering physics. You already know physics is a difficult subject but, Professor Zamani is an amazing teacher. His lectures, online homework, and exam questions are all from the book, so you will need it! In every college course you will have to study on your own and teach yourself what you don't understand. If you fail his class, it is because you're just lazy.

Definitely would recommend taking this professor to anyone who is needing it for credit. The class and tests itself were difficult, but it's physics what else can you expect. But the professor really works with you to ensure that you pass the class with either an A or B. 11/10 would take again with this same professor!!

Professor Zamani cares about his students' success, he is a good professor. It is still difficult to a degree because it is a physics class, but he is caring and helpful and if you put in the effort and don't slack off you'll get a good grade.

Professor Zamani is a great person overall, however he teaches from the powerpoints. I took this class and he goes through the powerpoints a little too fast. In the beginning of classes, he asks if anyone does have any questions from previous homework.

Please teach university physics 2! Dr. Zamani and university physics 1!. I am now going for my Masters and I would love to take physics with you again just like old times, doing homeworks you'd assign on saturdays all week long, practicing, preping for exams. Lab right after lecture and interesting experiments as well those were some good memories

Although professor Zamani is sweet and caring I do not recommend him at all. I took his for physics 1401, all other classes that took this course went up to chapter 10 but our class went up to chapter 16, that's almost double!!! No reviews, and the tests are nothing like the lectures. Find a better professor.

The professor is super nice and understanding, making this class easy to juggle with other classes. The class is heavy in terms of workload, lots of homework and some labs, but the professor helps you get through it all.

If you want to learn all of the material in depth then he might be difficult to keep up with bc there is a lot of info to go over BUT he cares about his students and will do his best to help you if you have any issues and or questions. Professor Zamani, is a great professor he actually cares about his students success. Attendance and participation is very important in this class especially on a Saturday you have to be there every week. We learn a lot of information in one day and then go to lab. The lab is so fun and we learn a lot.

He rants on and on about a pre-made powerpoint from 2015 that you can look at online for free and get the same information without sitting in class. He skips through the power point and doesn't go over the practice questions and says they're for homework. tests covered nothing that he went over in the lectures, doesn't go over questions you have

There is NO structure in this class! In lecture, you will only review a power point from the book that he assures you is required, but never actually use. You will probably only do a lab if he remembers. Do expect to take random quizzes over problems before he explains how to do them. Don't expect exams to be over what you've "learned" in class.

Do not get me wrong, Professor Zamani is a good professor but this semester he changed his way of teaching which made things very difficult and once the class got switched to online, he was very unorganized and assigned a ton of homework three days before final exams which made studying very hard to do. He is very caring overall just very difficult

I've chosen this professor because of this website, I got disappointed to find out that he only shows videos instead of teaching the subject himself, it would be so bad if he explained the videos and formulas, the videos themselves are assessable to the students; so going to the lectures are a waste of time. he doesn't explain how and wastes time.

If you want to completely learn by yourself literally ignoring all material needed for the class and switching to free resources that you could have gotten either way this is your class. The class is disorganized. The homework is worded in ways to make sure you dont know what he wants answered. The class revolves around him and his whims. ��

If you are expecting to be taught the material for the class, your expectations will not be met. Your complaints will fall on deaf ears. If you have a question about the homework or exams, do not expect a response or any type of help. For example, a student had a question about the homework and the professor referred the student back to a video.

No one cares more than he does. I took him for PHYS 1401 years ago, and he still remembered me. If you need help, he will do everything he can to help you. You will not regret taking him. Great teacher, and great person.

I took Professor Zamani for Physics 1401 and 1402. They were both summer classes and it passed by so fast when you have a hilarious teacher like him. He genuinely wanted his students to learn the material. He would also give free points for exams and it motivated me to do better; as long as you study the powerpoints on time you're fine.

If you want a good grade, take him! And stick to the end, don't let the first few assignments scare you off. Lots of homework but you get multiple tries, quizzes are online, and labs are a breeze. He has a unique sense of humor and cares about his students. Lectures are very long and heavy though

Professor Zamani made sure to answer any homework questions we had and ensures us that even if we got a bad grade on an assignment that we can still get a good grade in the class. His lectures can be long sometimes, but he has a quiet sense of humor and genuinely cares about his students. I thought the exams were fair and were never terribly hard.

Professor Zamani is a gem among all of the professors I've taken in university or CC. The class is no doubt very difficult, but if you stay on top of homework and lectures you should be good. He would go over any homework problem we had a problem with. Labs were easy and he would go over them beforehand. Please take him, you won't have any regrets.

Lectures consist of slowly reading through publisher-provided powerpoints, minimal examples, and low engagement. Very disorganized, easily sidetracked, and constantly late to class. He was not able to follow the syllabus because of how slow the lecture readings are. I can't honestly say I learned anything from his class. Thank goodness for youtube.

Please don't take his class; his lectures are boring and slow. He reads directly from the PowerPoints, although he skips most of them. There are no reviews given for any of the tests, so you have to study on your own. The slides are really long. He is lenient with grading lab reports. Please don't believe the good reviews; they're lying!

There are two aspects of a teacher; their aptitude and their attitude. He has a very nice attitude and cares for his students. He curves the grade after an exam and would let you take quizzes multiple times. But unfortunately, he teaches nothing. You have to study on your own. If you are looking to learn in class then this is not a good choice.

The class is disorganized, but the professor has a kind attitude. To succeed, rely on external resources like unstuckstudy, YouTube, and the textbook - the lectures alone won't cut it. Overall, a challenging but manageable course.

You should really take this class, professor is very easy going and as long as you get the assignments and do the exams you will pass the class. One of the most favorite class of all. He is also a kind and funny professor. I would definitely recommend his class.
