She is very sweet and helpful and her tests are tough but fair. She is unclear at times but if you have any doubts you can ask her as many times as needed.

She was a very fair teacher. She's very clear and explains the subject matter very well. The tests are tough, but if you do the homework and study the problems from the sections she gives you, you will have no problem passing the class. She's great. I'd take her again.

I really liked this class. She's fair on the grading. She explains the work clearly and she always reviews the work from the prior day. If you're not a math wiz then DO NOT take this class during the summer as it is very fast paced. Stats in not hard and I am glad that I took it with her. Got an A!

I think she was a great teacher... Ive taken stats at GCC and she was a lot better than the prof. at glendale. You do have to study to pass and you do use your book a lot... i love that she gives practice tests but you just can't study off of that

She's great.I was struggling so she helped me 1-on-1 for over an hour after class one day, which I found extremely nice of her. From then on, I did well.She'll help if you ask,but you've gotta take responsibility for your own success in the class. It's math, don't blame the professor if you don't do the work. And by all means keep up with homework!

I really liked her allot. Ms Iranmanesh is very fair and will always find a way to help you if you need it. She always made me laugh with an interesting sense of humor. I took 113 and 114 and had some special issues with a family member and she gave me freedom to take care of things. The final was a tough one but she warned us daily! A kind woman.

Going into this course I was terrified, I hated math and I put it off as long as possible, and if that were'nt enough it was a short term course. But Professor Iranmanesh made the class a blast she was extremely patient that being those who were in the course hadn't taken math in a couple of semesters. I highly recommend her, and am truly grateful

I felt coming on here and praising this professor was the least i could do. The class is super easy & she's extremely patient with her students even in a class full of idiots like the one I was in. She took time out of her life to hold a review day for our final. Lot's of h/w but she just skims it and gives full cred. Highly recommended!

I honestly dislike math and I am very bad at it but she is a very helpful and caring teacher. If the class doesn't understand a section she will make sure everyone understands before she goes on with her lesson. Also, She gives practice test before the exams which is very helpful. She is the reason i passed this combo class. She does everything to help you, &we also had tutoring. The class was high speed but she made it so you understood all details and would explain if you ask, we did have weekly test & we had 2 finals. homework& worksheets as well but that practice is what kept you at speed! id take her again anyway!!

She's really cool. 3 exams, 1 final, 4 small sets of homework. She will go out of her way to help you and she's very approachable. If you're a math major or something and you really want to know all about the material maybe take someone else because she will teach you the material but its really just the basics. Overall A+ experience.

I took her during fall semester . she seem very cold at first but once start to know her she is the most helpful , amazing teacher i have ever had! she is not easy but fair. will answer any question you have and take her time to make sure everybody on the same page. Got an A. take her!

She is nice and ready to work with you. she is not a good teacher for 125. I took her for 115, she is ok. she rush through the lectures to finish the book. she gives simple examples and gives out hard ones for you to work on . Take her for 115 only. I can't recommend for 125 . If you don't believe this, you will see when you get to 125 class.

I do recommend this professor. She's very knowledgable. She really respects students. This class isn't easy . If you want to pass pay attention to her notes , do the home works and pass exams. She gives extra credit to help with grades .

She is really helpful, however she looks serious ... She gives 3 tests and drops the lowest . For math 115, the third test was really hard . I strongly recommend her , She is really fair and she knows how to make everything simple .

This professor certainly takes her time to help you out with any questions. She is a fair grader, but you have to be willing to learn the material because that is just how math is.

My honest advice is that if you are not good in Maths, choose another teacher. She is nice but she lacks teaching abilities. She always refer students to maths lab simply because she assumes you must have learnt the topics in 115. You have to spend 24hrs a day on maths to pass well. Class examples are different from tests given. Goodluck!

I failed Math 115 before re-taking it with Iranmanesh and man, do I wish I would have taken her first. She is always there for you and she's very nice. If she sees her students struggling, she will find a way to make everyone understand. Do the HW and pass the tests and you will pass the class. Great professor overall.

I took Professor Iranmanesh's MATH227 class at Los Angeles Pierce College. She is an excellent professor who makes the course/ course material very engaging and very accessible. She is nice and looks out for the best interest of the students as long as you do your part in keeping up with course material and attendance.

I had math 227 with her in Pierce college. She is very good teacher. her method make it easy if you just listen to her in class. The homework and exam was good. I recommend this class to you. But if you are looking for an easy A class with out any homework or activity, this is not good class for you.

I took professor Atefeh in a PACE program at Pierce College for Math 238, this is not an easy class and you must understand Algebra. She is very kind person and cares for students to learn the concepts. She has a good sense of humor and she doesn't hesitate to stay after class to explain things. Great Teacher and very fair grader.

Took her at Pierce for Bus. Cal for her 8-week class. She is the ONLY Prof. that actually taught me ANYTHING about math. I have tried to pass this class multiple times! This is the first time I ever understood math, she is the BEST. She is tough, & is very strict, but acknowledges your effort & never gives up. Her accent is not bad, honestly!

She is a good professor , always is available to help and you can summit a homework past the due date . The class is little difficult because is two class in one. But the professor do her best.

One of the great Math teachers ever and nicest person. Even though MAT 134 was combined of Math 115 and 125, the lectures wasn't to hard. She explain very good, do a lot of examples, answers to every questions. She gives handouts, and that's give you a points. Quizzes after all chapter and tests after every 2 chapter. Will take her classes again!

Loved Iranmanesh she was an amazing professor, she explained so well and for me not being great in math I learned so much from her! I took combo 115/125 before and dropped because I just didnt get it and was behind but with her I got a B! Also she gives extra credit/drops your worst test score from the 5 tests we take!Pay attention math isnt easy

I would recommend to take the math227 with Professor Iranmanesh because shes a nice and caring professor. The math 227 is not hard but too much, while her lectures will make it easy to understand! you just need to follow her lectures and do your assignments on canvas in order to be the best one you want! If you're worried if stats is going to be hard, DO NOT WORRY. Professor Iranmanesh lectures are understandable and she provides examples on how to solve problems.I took this class through the COVID-19 pandemic and she provided ZOOM meetings that really helped out a lot to understand the material. She really cares about her students.

This class transitioned to ZOOM lectures due to COVID-19. Both online and in person lectures were easy to follow and understand as she provides great examples. Tests are on what she teaches only. Do not be intimidated by this class, she's GREAT. She has her best interests in her students. Scientific calculator will be your best friend!

I truly love this professor. Shes so nice to her students and she really does care for you. Ive emailed her several times and she responds really fast. Dont be scared to ask questions. She gives extra credit and there is a lot of assignments but she goes over them in class so its not too bad honestly. Just take her class. You wont regret it.

First off, I hate math, and it usually takes me about 20 mins to even realize what I need to do, but her availability and willingness to work with you is a real-life saver. The pace of the class tends to be set to the slowest person which gives everyone the chance to catch up. This was a class that I was most worried about, yet here I am with a B.

Professor Atefeh Iranmanesh is the best MATH prof. at LAVC. I am very happy I took Stat via Zoom. If you do homework, listen the lectures, and make notes than you can pass the class with a good grade (even if you do not like math). I followed all requirements and deadlines and got an A. Good luck!

If you attend class you will pass. She helps with homework and will go back in the lecture to answer any problems if you ask. You need to attend in order to pass but if you do you will understand and pass. I hate and suck at math but i passed with a B. She is a good professor

Stats overall was hard but the way her class is set up makes it easier to understand . She does the lectures with you and goes over hw as well. If you participate and do hw there is no way you will not pass. She does practice exams as well which are life savers ! Definitely take her class!

I'm currently enrolled but wanted to take the time to rate. This professor is actually amazing she explains things well and she's straight to the point sometimes she goes fast but everything is recorded you can go back and watch as many times needed. She wants her students to pass I most definitely recommend this Professor for stats. Wish me luck.

I really recommend taking Stats with this professor. She is amazing at explaining, she gives study guides which are very similar to exams so that's very helpful. On each assignment there are 7 tries. If you want an easy understanding math class I would say take this class!

Professor Iranmanesh is kind with LONG lectures and plenty of information.There is lots of work to be done but you'll have plenty amount of tries and time to do so. Her semester is quick learning a new section everyday. Ask for help and take the practice test as serious as your midterms.SHE WANTS EVERYONE TO KNOW THIS CLASS ISNT EASY! Very passable

Honestly best math class, I just wouldn't recommend taking notes while she's teaching online. She goes very fast but I watch the zooms after or again later. Easy class if you do the work :D. Open notes and open book exams. Do your best and you will pass. Don't expect it to be super easy though the math itself gets tricky sometimes :D

In the beginning this class seemed difficult, which it was for me. Note taking during class is hard as she goes pretty quick, but she records the lectures so you're able to watch them later. Which is what I do. Homework can be done whenever which I loved. Exams do match what she teaches and they're pretty easy if you study the practice exam. :D

This Spring 2024 Statistics Class was very good! You need to attend all the classes and PAY ATTENTION to get all the information to pass! Very straightforward and will help you succeed, clearly has been doing this for quite some time! (Also get the TI83 or TI84 whether buying it or borrowing it, trust me it will make life easier!)

At first this class seemed difficult since it was the only class I could take at the time. She includes 3 midterms, 100 points each which were worth 35% of your grade and includes 1 drop final discluding the final. She does grade the test kinda unfairly since I have used different methods and formulas different from the book and would get marked

Professor Atefeh Iranmanesh is a great. She explained whole material very clearly. You need to get ready to do homework. She prepared us before every midterms and final exam. If you go to class and listen professor, you will pass the exams. I appreciate her. She is very responsible, accurate, organized.

This class was literally easier than my HS stats class lol. As long as you don't skip class and pay attention you should pass, the professor explains everything well. Homework assignments aren't too bad. Practice exams really help prepare you for final and midterms. If you get anything lower than a B in this class, then maybe college isn't for you.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? I'm not sure all I know is that she is and will continue to be the best stats professor of all time. She goes ABOVE and BEYOND for her students. lowk needs a raise asap
