She can seem unapproachable sometimes, but if you go to see her in her office, she's very helpful. She does not accept 89.9's as A's, although she does offer small extra credit, which will boost your grade over that mark. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!

She's on top of the subject matter and has professional experience which she uses to show the relevency of the subject matter. Very friendly and wants her students to succeed. A few chances for extra credit, and has a consistant structured teaching pattern.

Amazing professor. She's tough, but you'll come out of the course well-prepared.

Excellent intructor. You will be a better accountant coming out of her class than anybody else. Yes, she is somewhat difficult, but it's good to be challenged every once in a while. Besides this is why were are going to college. Why cheat ourselves from a first class education.

Best teacher you can find!!! she explains everything from the book, makes material clear & if you do everything she says, you will pass with an A plus all the knowledge that you need for the next class!!!

Very nice professor, give alot of extra credit and her test are fairly easy.

Great teacher. She's not easy and gives work... but you learn from all the excercises. Being on the fast track class, it's twice the work, but she helps clear everything out. If you like being challenged, she's the perfect teacher to take accounting with.

Great Professor! I took this class online and it was a lot of work becuase it was a short term 8 week course. However if you read the text book and do the practice problems from the h.w you will be okay. Professor Hunter was very helpful. Make sure to particiapte in the discussions and stay on top of the h.w in webct it helps to print them out.

The homework is harder than test. As long as you do then extra credit you ll get a good grade. She goes over some stuff real fast, but usually that s bc it isnt on the test. I d recommend it.

great teacher! took her for Accounting II and Managerial. After a really bad teacher in ACG2001, I took her and now I finally understand the material. she will go over all the necessary before the test, tests are not easy, but she does provide 100% of the tools for success. gives a lot of extra credit. TAKE HER!

Took her class online. It's not bad, you have to study a lot and there is a lot of work, but it's doable if you stay caught up. You learn a lot and the class is very organized and structured and the professor responds quickly and is very helpful.

I took Hunter for all 3 ACG courses and shes a good teacher. She can sometimes be a little fast paced but she'll help you if you don't understand. Her tests and assignments are pretty basic and she has a good personality. I would recommend her :)

Hunter is an excellent teacher except she expects her students to dedicate hours and hours a week to her class. You really learn the material but if you dont have alot of extra time to spend studying you will fall behind and fail. I would recommend taking it over the summer when you can just focus on her class. That's what i did and i got an A.

Hello Everyone! I had Professor Hunter over the summer and it was a good class next to all the classes i took online over the summer. Her instructions are clear and its just 4 things to do per chapter so therefore it becomes a pattern. Oh yeah and theres a paper but just start early on it and you will be fine! I recommend taking her..=)

I took this class online winter 09 sem.The assignments, discussions, quiz's and homework are normal in compar to acct1 and 2. Her 2hr test are not easy,you may run out of time and she tries to trick you with words, you cant go back and change an answer and you do not have the opport to review what you got wrong on the test.50 detailed ?'s in 2hrs.

I had Mrs.Hunter from Prin I thru Managerial. She is an awesiome professor very helpful. The course syllabus is very clear, and if your an accounting buff, and pays attention to key words while your reading the chapters you will get an A. I got 3 A's. The course load is light.

I took the online class and I liked it. Everything is straight foward and to point if you study and do you assignments. She gives extra credit and is helpful when ask for help. I would take her again.

best professor i have ever had. she is amazing. she is willing to help anyone. took her for act 1 & 2 and plan on taking her for act2071. i def recommend her. she doesnt baby you so u have to pay attention and read the chapters but she explains thing so you understand

You'll hae a better time if you register for a face-to-face class with her, that's where she shines. I took both and found the online class to be way harder. the assignment schedule was ridiculous, with only a day or two between whole sections. If you go with a face-to-face class, you'll do much better

Very good professor who is genuinely commited to her students success. The last 3rd of this class was very hard, but if you ask for help or are unclear on something, the professor will respond.

Extremely helpful to students. ACC is not easy so you must study and put in effort. If you do not understand something go to her office hours and ask for help. She cares a lot about her student and is super smart. I'm taking her for All 3 ACC courses

She is a great teacher. She's very knowledgeable and helpful as you can see she wants her students to pass. If you just do the homework and study you should be fine. She drops the lowest grade and offers plenty of extra credit.

This teacher was great! I am taking her for all 3 Accounting classes. She is great with questions, so ask them. User her office hours. She basically tells you exactly what will be on tests. Read the discussion and follow problems she gives in books and you will get a good grade on the test. Apply yourself and you will do fine !

This is a great teacher. She cares about her students and is always willing to help. You must study and do homework in order to get an A. I took two classes with her.

She is the best teacher I have ever had! She explains everything! You just have to ask if you do not understand something. You can go over your test result with her and will help you understand.

She makes accounting very easy to understand! Definitely choosing her for my next accounting courses. She lectures, then guides you through the homework in class. There's some extra credit, but there's a lot of homework. I suggest taking her if you really want to understand accounting.

I'm taking her class in person and it's so great. I almost gave up on accounting until I ran into this professor. If you pay attention, you will learn everything you need to know. She runs through the homework with you in class and YOU WILL LEARN. Best ACG teacher at BC, just don't do online. She's worth the wait for an open spot in her class!

Shes not a terrible teacher but she not an amazing one either. Shes ok. Just be ready to work. You need to outline the textbook and do the online work, which will be plentiful. Her tests are online and an hour time limit for about 20-23 questions each. I'm taking her for ACG2011 as well but I'm taking ACG2071 with Applebaum. Hes sooo much better.

Don't take her online, it might be overwhelming. I took her for all 3 accounting classes and always got A+. The key is to watch the cengage videos before class, it helps a lot. Homework makes u understand everything, so I recommend you to do it all. She is really nice and helpful. No textbook needed, cengage is more than enough.

The introduction of the new "Cengage" was the hardest part of Accounting 1 & 2. Professor Hunter always replied immediately, and as long as you outline the chapters and use the games offered, you'll pass! Accounting 1 & 2 all online, and A+ in both classes... DON'T BE LAZY!

Professor Hunter is one of the best professors in Broward College. Accounting is an interesting class but if you want to learn it right, don't take it in 7wks. Her lectures are great and she cares for her students. If blended course, make sure you do all the assignments on time. All tests are online, extra credit in class, no midterm or final.

She cares about her students as long as they show effort. she gives extra credit homework and quizzes to boost up your grade. definitely recommend her to anyone who needs to take accounting. I have taken all 3 accounting courses with her!

Fairly easy class. All the assignments were in cengagenow except the discussions. Two proctored tests. Definitely need to read the textbook. The tests can be difficult but after studying for them I got A's on most of them. The prof doesn't do much since it's online but she's nice and I'm taking 2011 with her now.

Online class is pretty easy, all the assignments are in cengagenow other than discussions and one small project. 8 tests, 2 are proctored. The professor doesn't do much but she's nice and responsive when you have questions. Very similar to ACG2001.

Do yourself a favor and taker her. A few disc. most of the work is in cengage. I did horrible on the disc but because I had an 87 on cengange I pass the class with an A. she rounded my grade up with out me even asking. email back very quick. I Took her online very do-able.

This was a great class. I enjoy accounting so for me was worth my time. Teacher was really cool. She will help you as she sees fit. A lot of work so if you are looking for an easy A this is not for you.

Professor Hunter is a good professor. She tries to explain things in a way you'll understand. She does assign homework online , has pop quizzes, and her exams are hard just like any other accounting class. Make sure you pay attention & complete all the course work.

My class is fully online and mainly all the work is done through Cengage - Which is actually a great system. This professor reached out to me when she saw that I was slacking or missing anything and has given me some time to make things up. I feel she really cares about her students even though I have not met her. Would highly recommend!

I was impressed by Professor Hunter's quick response time to questions. It is easy to do well if you read the material carefully and do the exercises. Plenty of chances to get a good grade.

Professor Hunter is extremely kind and understanding. I was sick and she let me make up work and was very understanding about it. She sends out reminders via email every time there is work due soon. Professor Hunter is a teacher that GENUINELY wants you to pass and cares about you. The coursework is not "easy" and WILL require you to study a lot.

I am returning to school for a 2nd degree and it is rare to find professors like her. She is caring, quickly responds to emails, and sends out reminders of deadlines. My 1st degree was in the science field and they showed no mercy! This is online so MyLab is used. It is great practice to learn the steps. Also, attend the tutoring sessions!

This class is neither easy nor difficult. If you're new to accounting you'll need to pay attention to the details to get things right. The class is mainly based in My Lab so you have to keep track of your syllabus for deadlines, but Prof. Hunter also updates the class throughout the week. She also provides a few extra credit opportunities.

This is a Quick Books certification course. I took the 6-wk course and it isn't hard but it does require a lot of reading. The textbook is online and you will read all thirteen chap. as well as simulate a fake company in QuickBooks. Most of the hw is autograded and you can get "0" for the minor errors. Prof. Hunter offers a lot of extra credit.

I've been in 3 of Prof. Hunter's classes and she is a great prof. She's very kind and personable, and always open to questions. She's taken calls and replied to emails over the weekend, which is extremely helpful if it's a timely matter. I appreciate Prof. Hunter's kindness and help and would take another of her classes if I had the opportunity.
