Professor Miller is a caring, understanding and dedicated professor. Do not ever hesitate to ask her any questions, because she respond back to your emails quickly. She gives out multiple extra credit opportunities and help you succeed in the course by giving good you feedback on how to improve on your essays.

Professor Miller is great! We had the best discussions in class and I love that she was very open minded. You will have a paper due once every week so be prepared but its quite easy just do the readings! TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE EXTRA CREDIT POINTS, SHE GIVES LOTS OF THEM! It will help in the end in case you miss a paper or two.

Professor Miller is the sweetest women and professor. She does teach you through her thought provoking and open minded discussions she has with the class. The class is more of a learning tool than "work" in my opinion. She offers so much extra credit so take advantage of it. Participation/attendance matters! I'd recommend taking this class!

Miller is sooo awesome so passionate about feminism!! Learned a lot in this class you do need your book as soon as the course begins and you'll use it every week! mandatory attendance, but she gives some slack. SOOO many opportunities for extra credit, and even extra extra credit. the more youre engaged in the topics the easier it will be.

If you are considering this class for a CORE credit take it! You will love the course especially with Prof. Miller. She is incredibly smart and always has great things to contribute to discussions. This class is based off textbook topics but the discussion in class adds depth to what you learn, because you get real life experiences from classmates!

I would 100% recommend everyone to take Professor Miller. She is one of the kindest most helpful professors I know. Assignments consist of one Critical Analysis paper every week (500 words, you can do it) and she offers a ton of extra credit! She is hands down one of the best professors I have ever had. TAKE HER YOU WONT REGRET IT!

She's a terrific professor to take this course with. There is a decent amount of work but its not difficult to complete and she is always receptive to questions and feedback about the course. If you plan on taking this course I highly recommend you take it with her.

Class is easy if you pay attention, participate, and READ. You will need the textbook in this class, it is not expensive btw. There are 12 papers in total that are due every week, but are informal. Professor is understandable and amazing!

This class is very interesting so it wont be hard to do the work! Although we do write 500 word papers each week, the readings make it doable. Also there is a 1000 paper but you have your choice of topic to write about. Dont get intimidated by the work it is an easy A and plus there is loads of extra credit! The instructor is really passionate about Womens Studies and seeing her students succeed. This class requires work, but if you do it, youll be fine. The only issue I had during the semester was that the CA paper was due at right at midnight on Monday and that implied that we had to work on it during the week we were out for COVID.

My class was asynchronous, discussions (500 words) were due every week which is 50% of your grade. Even if you don't do the best on the discussions, she gives tons of extra credit that can help boost your grade.

I had an asynchronous class and overall I enjoyed it. I was able to gain more knowledge on women. The class consisted of mostly discussions due every week and one activism project.

My class was asynchronous with mainly weekly discussions and a project. There would be non-mandatory zoom meetings to earn extra credit and more! Overall, this class was great and not stressful.

Haven't received anything less than a 100.

Prof. Miller is not one of those "I don't really care about your life struggles" type of professor. She's more involved and wanting to help. She's straightforward with you from day 1. She does zoom partays as one kind of extra credit, and does another kind too. You'll love her character once you get to know her. She's also funny. I'd say "rise up."

Took during covid. For this class we had readings/videos online then would write a discussion post with 500 words each week. There is also one activism project where you have to watch a long video then do a project however you like:)Then theres a final project. Although the discussion grades vary, theres a LOT of extra credit so its an easy A.

She is a very caring professor and her method of teaching is based on a real-world aspect instead of sticking to a textbook. The work for each week is fairly easy, and she gives various extra credit opportunities. Her midterm project was also not very hard and she encouraged creativity. Overall an easy A class.

Dr. Miller is very insightful with passionate discussions that are engaging on topics that can be quite sensitive. Although she heavily encourages participation, she does not force it which fosters a safe-feeling environment to gain knowledge on an area of study that is quite difficult.

The class is largely discussion based with weekly 500 word responses to assigned readings, one project, and one writing exam. She's not a hard grader at all, so if you do the work it's an easy A. What matters is that she sees you're engaged in the class material and gives plenty of opportunity to due so and offers extra credit.

Dr.Miller is a very sweet person but the class is very very writing and reading heavy. we often had to read multiple 30-page journals and articles every week and write an analysis on them. They aren't that bad considering it is often the only assignment for the whole week however she is not clear at all about what she wants included in them.
