One of the best teachers I've had! He is very fair in his tests. There will be no surprises. He is active in his teaching by showing simulated segments, encouraging participation, and applying material to you. It is a structured, yet laid back learning envirorment. You will have to study, but you will LEARN in the class.

I took this class in the 5-week session. It was tough, especially if you work. But it is well worth it. I'm not a fan of biology, but I'm good at memorizing facts. Mr. N does his part to prepare you for the exams and gives opportunity for extra credit. The rest is up to you.

AAAwsome teacher! Realy best teacher that I came across with. What I love is that u are going to know every single thing that is going to be on the test, no surprises. Can you say extremely anal and by the book. Overall he is a nice man but does not give much leighway. You do learn in his class but you have to put alot of effort into it. Oh and you use about 3 scantrons with him on all the tests.

This professor really loves what he teaches. He is not the professor that will let you skate by without studying. You have to have a good memory to keep up. Wasn't doing that well at first but when it counted and everything was said and done I was able to pull out an A. It is definitely possible to get an A in his class but be prepared to work hard

Amazing Prof! HARD but class is great. He is a very skilled lecturer - he will keep you interested. I would study for 2 weeks before the test - you have to memorize a TON of diagrams. I took 2402 with someone else and did not learn half as much. If you are a health career major, TAKE HIM. You will learn what you need to know!

I took him for Micro. Tests are between 200-300 questions but he gives extra credit opportunities for up to 10 points per test! Show up to class! I believe that his lectures were useless sometimes since he gives you what you need to study on a USB (a lot of material per test). However, DO NOT TAKE HIM if this class WILL ADD TO A FULL-TIME SCHEDULE.

Amazing Teacher! He will teach you...as long as you are willing to learn! He is not easy but is a very intelligent man and really loves his job. He gives you what you need to pass the tests...all you haveto do is learn it/memorize it.

One of those "if i can do this i can do anything" classes. This class is not for the weak, if you're looking for an easy A, please do yourself a favor and go with someone else. Extremely hard materia, even harder professor but it is a GREAT stepping stone, especially if you're going into nursing school. Take at you're own risk.

I took Mr Nioupin for A&P 2 and I worked my butt off for my grade!He's very through so I learned alot from him. Honestly a good teacher. You will have to work for your grade! Not an easy A class but great for nursing majors

Mr. Nioupin is a wonderful instructor; HCC is very lucky to have him. He consistently has high energy and is very knowledgeable on course material. He encourages questions, even if they completely interrupt him. He also fully prepares you for each exam, very generous as far as some instructors go.

Honestly when I picked this class i thought it was going to be the hardest class in my life! Once i walked in and sat down Dr nioupin walked in with all his energy he talks loud so you wont fall asleep. Professor Nioupin is a fantastic instructor. He's always full of energy and has a loud and booming voice (if you like sleeping in class, beware) However, just because he's a great instruction doesn't mean the class is easy. A&P is not meant to be an easy class. You MUST study for to pass the exams as they have quite a bit of questions. Recommended!

I recommend people to take him for BIOL 2401 before taking this class with him because it prepares you for it since it's a lot of material and it's worth it. Loved his class and made an A but still had to work for it and study. He also gives extra credit assignments. If you are going into nursing, this class and BIOL 2401 with Mr. Nioupin is great.

He is one of my favorite professors in my college career. Ironically, because his class is the HARDEST class I've ever taken. He really makes you work for your grade. I was taking his class & 1 other & found it difficult to have time for the other. But if you study, you'll be fine. Not to mention his reviews are somewhat the same as the test! :)

Took Nioupin for Micro and he was great! He has a loud voice that doesn't bore you during lecture, labs were fun, and tests are straight from the review. If you study, you'll pass. First week of class he scared me and I thought I might have to drop the class, but he ended up being my most favorite professor at HCC. Wish I needed to take him again!

He was very clear and explained everything well. He gave you material to study for exams which help since this class is not easy no matter who you take. I also took his A&P 1 class and Micro biology with him. I highly recommend his class!

I took him for Anatomy and Physiology I & II. He is very specific with what he expects and will tell you EVERYTHING that will be on the exam. The only way you won't do well is if you don't study the reviews. You never go into an exam blindsided. Sometimes he'll change terms (more scientific version), but you'll remember them if you pay attention.

He seems a little strict professor at the beginning but once you start working through the semester you'll recognize he is probably one of the best professors HCC has for biology classes! I normally do not rate teachers, but Professor Nioupin it is a must! Microbiology in a 5 week summer course was definitely not a breeze, but he helps a lot! He is very hands on and also willing to listen and help with whatever it is that you may be struggling with. There's a lot to retain, but study and ask for help if needed and you'll do fine.

The reviews match the tests. There are A lot of diagrams. If you don't study it makes things really hard. He is easy going. I took it as a 5WK summer class. The book is not necessary. He gives Powerpoints over the entire book, basically study the powerpoints!!! The book is on Chegg, returned mine. Not needed The last two tests are the hardest.

Professor Nioupin is absolutely wonderful! Please, I repeat, please register for whatever he teaching. His 5 week Micro lab was HARD WORK but he managed to make Microbiology fun and interesting. He is very hands on and is always willing to help. If you are willing to study and work hard, you can easily get an A!

I am taking his class AP2 for summer 2. He is an enthusiastic and patient with his students. His exams exactly on review but you must to study hard with review, diagrams and materials. I am sure you can get good grade. I am international student but I get a lot of anatomy information from his class. HCC need professor as him.

I have taken Professor Nioupin for Micro and now A&P I (lecture). The class consist of 4 exams . He gives us all the power-points (so you don't really need the book), and exam reviews (which include diagrams). Attend class and study the reviews, you'll do great! He is very caring and wants his students to succeed. I will be taking him for A&P II.

True enough this professor can be a bit much at times, but overall he is a great instructor. I would prefer an instructor to give me EXACTLY what's on the test to study than nothing at all like most (so I've heard). Follow the rules, come to class, and study the reviews that he gives you and you will pass. I have taken him for A&P 1,2, and Micro.

Professor Nioupin is honestly the BEST teacher that I have ever had at HCC! I really thought that he was going to be a hard professor but once you get to know him you will realize he is just a determined teacher trying to make their students be as successful as they can be. Professor Nioupin gives you all the materials you need to be successful! There were 4 exams, each were 125 multiple choice questions. He offers 5 extra credit points for each exam based on questions he assigns to you from the review. Take the class serious, study a lot and you will do great. Don't listen to the bad reviews, he's a great professor.

Nioupin is great. I am currently taking him for A/P 1 Lecture and Microbiology. Two tough classes and he made it easy for me. If you study your diagrams given to you and your homework packet you will pass. Attendance is mandatory. If your are unsure or confused about something he wont stop until you understand. I have taken every class he offers because his reviews are the bomb. If you study the material, you will pass. He gives you all four reviews the first week of class and the rest is up to you. Sure, its a lot of material but what you see is what you get. The reviews are EXACTLY as the test.

It could get extremely stressful and some nights I would sleep really late but it was all worth it. There are diagrams that he gives for lecture classes and for lab you do presentations. I learned so much in this class! Prof. Nioupin is straight to the point, no-nonsense, and FAST. He is also hilarious, specific, and cares about what he's teaching. He is QUICK, so don't be afraid to ask questions-he's actually quite considerate. If you don't read you WILL NOT PASS. He gives out practice exams so it's hard to fail.

Average Professor. Can be rude at times but I guess that's just his nature. I took his online course and his exam reviews were the best resource he gave out. It was more helpful than his lectures. Practice quizzes save your life. His exams and 40% based on the practice quiz and 60% based on diagram labeling. All his exams and proctored.

I enjoyed him on a personal level, he seems strict but is actually very sarcastic. I got along with him very well. He gives exact reviews for test so that is not to hard. Best professor absolutely !!!! A wonderful clarity and you can know that he likes enzymes a lot where he can explain the complex is very easily. His tests are not quite difficult, the test depends on 60% on graphics which will be collected in a file and sent to you, and the remaining 40% will be revised questions. I recommend it

Although it isn't his fault, homework is what killed me. It took almost 5 Horus to complete each McGraw hill assignment. This class has a lot of information and if you don't pay attention in the lecture or read and take notes this is not the class for you. He is really funny and nice in class though.

in person micro lab. ALOT of online lab simulations 5% of grade. ALOT of class labs/powerpoints to do worth 15% of grade. 2 exams worth 80% of grade. super funny & petty at the same time. kinda fast paced no room for error but easy to pass if you put in the time & team work w/ classmates. gives study guides/practice exams. good luck if you enroll!

I took Professor Nioupin Microbiology Lab in the spring 2023. He is funny, with a sense of humor, and you will learn a lot in his class. He is straight forward with his testes and homework. You will get a easy A or B. Make sure you pick a good working group for your labs.

I've taken professor Nioupin for both lecture and lab, He gives study guides (diagrams and tables) and a practice test for each exam. You will pass the exams if you study the diagrams and remember the questions from the practice test. The exams are 60% the diagrams and 40% is the questions from the practice test. Took Prof Nioupin for the BIOL2101 A&P1 Lab and it was a fun and reasonable course. Assignments are all dated months in advance, only having minor issues on due dates from time to time but that was due to the Second Start class having to move faster than usual and those issues were always addressed and corrected. Would def recommend taking

Took this Professor for A&P Lab he's quite hilarious, tough exams, 3 exams and a final. But they're just look at the review study it take the test, pretty simple. Actually focuses on labs as in slides, disecting, etc. I'd say he's the best lab teacher I've had , I'd definitely take him again. First exam is more fill in the blanks. Awesome professor

I'd say one of the best professors I've had. He generally cares about making sure his students understand the material and are having fun while learning it. He sets positive a positive atmosphere within the classroom for his students. He understands the material very well and BONUS gives extra credit! He is a 10/10 professor. He's great!

He is a great funny professor. I took him for the summer and there are 4 tests that are 75 questions each. The questions are easy if you study his quizzes and diagrams. Attendance is mandatory so show up.

Professor provides exactly what you need to study for the exams, which are 80% of the total grade. Make flashcards from the practice quizzes (100 questions/exam) and memorize *everything* in the packets he provides unless stated otherwise. Exam 2 for microbiology, make sure you learn the medicines completely. Do your homework, go to lecture.
