I was worried about taking Statistics because I don't like math, but he makes it easier to understand and hes funny and seems like he really cares about us...the homework is a lot sometimes and some quizzes are hard, but they're pretty fair and he answers any questions anyone has. I hope he teaches more classes than just statistics next semester.

Such a stupendous professor! He teaches R code, which is a bit tough at first; however, with his lecture and the labs, he makes it comprehensible. The textbook is free and embedded in Canvas. It's A LOT of reading, but there are questions in the textbook that will help with coding. So read the book! Material is difficult; he is not, btw!

Attway is one of the best professors I've had, he truly cares about our success. He does teach R coding which seems super overwhelming and scary but with his lectures it was super easy to get the hang off. Quizzes are open book & notes which helps as long as you know where to find what is needed. The only way to not pass his class is by not trying.

Best Professor at CSULA. Five quizzes and one final, but he helps you through the quizzes, and his lectures are less than 50 minutes. His quizzes are open book, so you can always go back and refresh your mind. Labs are easy and simple, he goes through them as a class and homework is always due at the end of the week. I was never stressed.

At first i was worried about taking a stats class but upon taking the class the professor helped get over the anxiety i had as he explained how the class was structured which is pretty straight forward, as long as you do the homework and pay attention to the class lectures and material provided to you you'll be fine.

This is far the best professor I've ever taken for stats. He is caring and is clear about what to expect for each quiz. His lectures are enjoyable and is great at explaining everything. Stats is not an ideal class, but he made it feel easy. Homework is due at the end of each week and its just an online guided textbook practice kind of thing. 5 quizzes (which are open note/book) and a final exam. Labs are done in groups and overall a pretty easy class. Keep up on the homework and you will be just fine.

I took Professor Attaway for Psych 3040. Although some of the content was difficult, he did a great job at explaining and being open to any questions. You can email him at any time throughout the course and he responds, he is also incredibly inspirational and you will leave the class with life lessons as well as an understanding of course material.

He will forever be one of my favorite professors. If we have questions, I've never been afraid to ask or go to an office hour. I think the only thing I can critique is when it came to the presentations, I wish there was some type of rubric to make sure I'm hitting all the markers. Other then that, he's amazing.
