This professor's demeanor is unprofessional and rude. I took her class online, but it is not set up to be taught online. She requires a manual from the copy shop that is a compilation of abbreviated lecture notes that don't make sense without the lecture. I highly recommend taking this class with another professor, or at another institution.

She is a disgrace to the teaching profession. There is no way she deserves to be a teacher. Teacher like her is the reason why MSU can not improve.

This instructor is the worse instructor I have ever seen. She doesn't know her stuff well and she is rude and mean. She shouldn't be teaching this class. Don't take her class. Worse teacher.

Makes caustic remarks to students, does not give partial credit for using the correct formula if answer is incorrect, unclear due dates and dates from previous classes listed on syllabus. Gives the impression that she dislikes teaching and dislikes students, especially students who do not understand a concept immediately.

She skips her own class without telling anyone, and continues to not push the test back. Watch pointless movies in class. Very rude and if you're late she either kicks you out or tells you to hangout after class. The tests are another story. A lot of the information you have to learn on your own and questions are not from reading or lecture.

She is by far the worst professor I have ever had. She is extremely rude and condescending to her students, and enjoys publicly embarrassing a student whenever she has the chance . Her grading methods are ridiculous. She doesn't know how to teach. Listening to her only confused me. She is not only a horrible teacher but a horrible human being.

Yes, everything everyone else is saying about her is true. She truly is horrible. If you don't need the class, do not take it. She will shame you in class and does not care about you at all. If you miss something, better have a friend to ask after class.

Wow, I didn't believe these poor ratings until I took her online class. Laziest professor ever. Embarrassing to MSU. 0 presence from the instructor. We got a 'corrected' syllabus with some assignment requirements 1/2 way through the course. If you email her, 2 answer response. Totally random grading with 0 direction, and 0 accountability.

She was so mean. If you ask to to go back to a slide she will just say no and keep moving on. She is very strict on attendance. She's one of those professors that believes that you "have time" to go to the bathroom on your own time. I also was 2 minutes late to my final because she switched the final time and I didn't see it and she wouldnt nudge.

Probably the worst professor I've had. Won't let you go to the bathroom, if you're a minute late she freaks out and won't let you turn things in a minute late. Very strict. Attendance is graded every lecture. She can be funny at times, but a lot of her jokes are very sexist. Tests are hard and some questions have more than one answer.

I did not like her. If I emailed her with a question her response was always, "Figure it out. It's in the syllabus." Overall, just not a very friendly person.

Not a very understanding professor. Does not care if her students succeed. Either gives full credit or none for papers. Need to met Her requirements even though she doesn't specify them very thoroughly in the syllabus. Very strict on attendance and being on time. Not many ways to make up points

Worst professor I've ever had. When registering, I was told this class was an easy A. It's not.. Don't show up late, don't leave during class, and don't leave early. She either gives full credit or none at all. She doesn't communicate with TA's. You can only miss 3 classes or you automatically fail no matter the grade. "Prepare for emergencies"

Terrible teacher, but if you miss the way you were treated when you were in middle school, then you might enjoy her class. She gets upset when people leave to go to the bathroom during her 2 hour long lecture. The way she grades makes no sense what so ever. She is EXTREMELY rude if you ever email her with any questions. Do not choose this instructor!!! I am taking an online class with her and she is an absolute pain. She does not give out any instructions about class materials and expects you to find them yourself, puts questions that was not in the chapter in the quizzes to make it hard and her quizzes are super vague to confuse you so much. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT EVER TAKE A CLASS WITH THIS PROFESSOR. She is so unbelievably unprofessional and rude. I have been in an online class with her for all of two days and she has already been designated my worst professor ever. She is rude in emails, degrading, completely unfair with grading and ZERO HELP AT ALL. I hope she reads these.

I wonder if she would be happier at a research institution like the U of M, and graduate students could do the teaching for her. Alas, MSU is not a research institution, and I get the impression she is really unhappy here.

I would not recommend this professor to anybody. She has a horrible attitude and will verbally attack her students in front of the entire class. She gives pop quizzes and attendance counts for a major part of your grade. It is not an "easy" A, but if you apply yourself enough and show up to class you will pass.

Very accusing and belittles her students. It's her way or the highway. One minute late to class and you're locked out. Will not hesitate to call you out in front of the whole class for any reason, so do not even touch your phone.

I appreciate a no nonsense attitude, but she is the coldest, most condescending instructor--made me cry twice. Terrible grader and attitude, apparent she forgot what being a college student is like. God help you if you take anything with her, but if you do, dont miss lecture, read, and be on time.

Dr. Hamilton is tough. There are assignments that make you more confused than not. I feel as if I am not learning anything, but just trying to pass my assignments when I'm usually an A student. She gave me an F on an assignment for using one wrong word. When you ask for help, it feels as if you shouldn't have and does not offer much help.

the class is easy. everything is online and she gives you more than enough time to do the work. But as far as her personable skills and just an overall professor; she's terrible. she's rude, will not help you if you have a question, dismissive, and has no problem calling anyone out. she's not friendly at all and one of my least favorite prof.

At first, she was one of my favorite professors. Her class was entertaining and kept me intrigued. Throughout the semester, she started to get ruder and ruder. Don't believe her when she tells you to study the Kahoot questions for the test. She is not considerate at all. Make sure when submitting homework, you send a file that she can open otherwise it's an automatic Zero. she's not a nice person.

Probably the worst professor I have had. Takes every chance to embarrass you in front of the class and makes you feel stupid. Doesn't give extra help when asked. Had a family member pass away and wouldn't extend a homework assignment due that night. Take this course with another professor if possible (Forsyth). Exams are extremely difficult as well

Met a lot of strict professors but this professor is the WORST & most DIFFICULT I've had. She has ZERO sympathy for students. She expects you to know everything she said/did not say. Don't bother emailing her for help. She doesn't really respond and even if she did, you either receive no help or receive feedback that makes you feel like crap.

Professor Hamilton does not answer emails, even as an advisor, she does not let you make up any points for homework, she is very strict and VERY rude. She calls people out for anything and will make you feel horrible and dumb for asking for help. She tells you what to study and it is not even what is on the test. I wish I never took this class

This class should have been a straightforward as the assignments are not difficult. Some weeks would be doubled up without warning while others had no work, and I ended with this grade because of hidden assignments - even with 100% on everything else. Email responses were very rude and unprofessional and usually never fully answered my question.

I took this class online which was easy but got busy at times due to doubling of assignments. It was mainly smartbooks, with a few essays/projects. Her grading is VERY tough. If you miss one thing it's automatically your fault, she makes sure to tell you that. Extremely rude/unprofessional when answering emails. I felt insulted quite a few times.

Ms. Hamilton is lowkey unhinged. She has said a couple of out of pocket and racist things in class which had my jaw on the floor. DO NOT look at your phone during class, even to check the time. DO. NOT. be even a minute late, or points will be taken away. If you pay attention (or act like) during class you will be fine. Homework is fine.

I thought since I took her class online that it wouldn't be so bad, but I have never met anyone so rude and she is the biggest narcissist I've ever experienced. It is her way or no way, don't you dare get confused because, by the time she gets around to answering your question, you'll already be in another unit. Homework was decently easy.

She is very rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional. I got really sick the week an exam was due and provided her with a doctors note asking for an extension. I got a an email sent back with her just stating the original due date of the test. good luck getting constructive help from her.

Doesn't answer any emails. 30 plus assignments for one chapter. You'll have at least 3 chapters due every Friday. Please take with someone else

She only uses cengage for homework and you have to memorize 100+ terms each chapter. The syllabus says that the homework is worth over 2000 points put really it's only worth 50 total. I would take this class with a different professor or though another school. The test are lock down browser and webcam!

This class is all on Cengage and she does nothing for the class besides responding to all your emails rudely. The syllabus is very misleading as the exams are all rounded to be out of 50 points, the same as the homework. Would take with a different professor or different school.

Overall she was not a great professor. She never responded to emails. Her grading scale was impossible. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I am working on my third degree, and this is the worst instructor I have ever had. She rarely answers emails and if she does answer, her response is short and rude. Her grading system is unclear, and she gives you whatever grade she feels like giving. I do not recommend her.
