Funny ass hell teacher! If you do the labs, and pay attention in class, you'll do fine on his weekly tests. His lab practical is cake. If you show you care and try in class and even joke around with him, class will fly by. I always left an hour before lab ended.

mr ittah is awesome, he is funny and sarcastic and takes time to explain. he will give extra credit if the whole class is having prob. take the class BUT buy the book, and READ a lot before the tests. he gives study guides but it doesnt really help much.

Dr. Ittah is AMAZING! You should read your assignments, but never be afraid to say you didn't understand the material. He is patient, and takes the time to make sure everyone is on the same page. His lab was very fun, and enlightening. He taught me more in lab than my other professor did in lecture. You won't regret learning from him.

He's a great professor and explains everything very well. He's also really funny which makes u want to attend class more, its alot of material so you have to make time to study.

Dr. Ittah is the bomb! Bio is a difficult class, but he is willing to help when you need it, and uses relatable examples.

Prof Ittah is wonderful!!! He is witty and charming and really trys to bring the subject to life. Explains things well and will stay on a subject as long as people need. Always willing to help in anyway. Overall great professor will be taking him for other bio classes.

Professor Avner is the biggest sweetheart. He's such a cool man and easy to get along with. This guy TRUELY cares about all his students and wants them to pass. To be honest however, you will never pass this class unless you study aloott. This class is not hard but all of the test are straight from the book. read read read & read again. Passed: A

Bio is hard by itself, so you have to get the book and study. Try and go over the chapter concepts beforehand and class should go smoothly! He is a really fun person and cares a lot about his students. If you like to slack, then don't take this class because that'll get you nowhere.

He is an interesting man ill tell you that, he knows his stuff, kinda boring at times but are able to get through a class.

This man is a great professor, has a heavy yet tolerable accent. He explains in a clear way, and repeats things constantly to help you remember. He is nice about the grades, & study guides are very helpful. This is a biology class, so it's based on information that REQUIRES studying. You fail? YOUR FAULT! He probably did what he could to help you.

This professor has a strong personality which some people may take as rude or obnoxious but he is genuinely a great guy! 3 tests and pop quizzes. First test is solely depended on memorization and the other two you just need to study. I had a lot of fun. I failed all the quizzes but ended the class with an A. Remember to wash your hands...ALWAYS!

Dr. Ittah is an excellent professor. You need to study to pass, this class is not easy at all but he does everything he can to help you understand the material. If you expect to pass this class w/o studying do not take him. For the exams just take notes of the reviews. He goes over of what he will ask on the test. I love his class. Great professor

He cares for his students and keeps the class laughing. He gives HW, review, 2 video respones, and the final exam online open book. Each test is based more on the content of the book and skims the top in class. He knows his stuff. He answered every question asked in class. Also, he is welling to help out any of his students.

He is a great teacher, explains things often and demonstrates procedure when you need it. He basically holds your hand through all labs. I found the class easy. All the info you need is in the book. He has his quirks but if you follow his rules you can get a good grade. No homework. No lab reports. Only 3 tests. Quizzes did not count in the end.

Avner is a very good teacher. The grade is based off of 4 exams(one of which is an online exam, and practically a free A because it is open book). The in class exams are somewhat tricky, but he curved every test by at least 5 points in order to give students a boost. It is an interesting class and it is refreshingly challenging.

Excellent and knowledgeable. Must be prepared for class by reading ahead. Textbook and power points are essential tools. His goal is for students to learn and not just to pass tests. Makes class interesting and eager to explain to achieve clear understanding. Guides students to pass the class. One of the best. Students need more like him.

He is a very sweet professor. Loves his students and is very helpful. Is character is strong , but do not let it get to you. He only wants to help his students. You must read your textbook and read ahead like any other class . Exams are tough and for lab he gives quizzes. But over all an amazing professor.

First of all, really good professor. He really wants his students to study and learn, so he might seem rude. But that's him caring for his students.

This guy is amazing! He is the coolest most laid back Microbiologist ever. He makes lab super fun with his sense of humor. He likes students that care to learn and if you are one of those he will make sure you do excellent. If you are not on your game he will give you a hard time! This class was both fun and interesting.

I enjoyed his course so much. He knows what he teaches. He's truly a doctor in science. You wanna work in the field of medicine, right? EARN IT!

I took this class in the summer which made it all the more difficult, but this professor was wonderful, he really helped us all as much as he could. the class is difficult so you have to make sure to read the chapters and understand the material, practice with the code that comes with the textbook and I guarantee you'll pass.

He is a kind, very smart professor. He knows his stuff and he will answer any question or doubt about his class that you may have. He talks with an accent (as he is from Israel) but you should get used to it pretty quick. His tests were a little difficult, but he always curved our tests during the summer semester.

Mr. Ittah is a passionate professor that genuinely cares about wether you are grasping the big picture concepts and not just memorizing facts to pass the test. He loves what he does, it seems. I think his tests were hard and the grading was fair. College would be so much less stressful with more teachers like him.

Professor Ittah loves biology and is extremely passionate about his field. He wants students to understand the big picture and be able to connect what you learned. The tests are very hard because the questions are harder thinking and challenging, sometimes about stuff he might not have covered in class so read that book front to back and go to PLTL

Professor Ittah was an amazing professor, very educated, and he knows everything he talks about. He's very caring and makes many jokes and always tries his best to know his students' names and what they do for a living. As long as you pay attention during class, you'll do fine on all of his assignments. You'll have to study on your own occasionally

He's sweet and sarcastic. there are lectures and if you're confused about anything he'll stop and explain it until you understand. He has an accent and he mentions it. He'll probably call you out if you don't pay attention to his lectures. Barely any assignments just tests so study. Show up to class b/c he gives extra points on tests. EASY A.

Honesty Professor Avner was a greta microbiology lab professor. I don't understand why his rating is a 3 he deserves a 5. Very clear with what he wants, gives you many chances to do your quizzes, all quizzes are online and three exams, no lab reports needed. He is great 10/10 recommended.

Hes a absolute sweet heart and he cracks jokes every once in a while. Need to study a lot if you want to pass though. I studied a lot but either way he still curved the tests usually by 10 points. I loved him a lot.

Truly a great professor. Dr. Avner is passionate about what he teaches and cares about his students. Sure, you have to read the book and study but getting an A in his class is definitely not impossible. He is understanding and simply expects his students to make an effort in learning the material.

He is easily one of the best professors I've had at MDC. He's very knowledgable and also hilarious so it keeps the class interesting and engaging. He's easy to talk to and very understanding, but he expects you to do your job as a student. Reading prior to the lab is essential because he will ask questions and he does weekly online quizzes.

Get on his good side!!! Always bring your lab book to class and try to participate as much as possible. His weekly assignments are just quizzes based on the lab you did. Easy class so you shouldn't have a problem!

Professor Ittah is a funny, motivating & kind person. He realized that I was falling behind and getting lazy so he motivated me to do better. He truly believed in me so with his guidance, I got myself together and passed the class. He wants his students to succeed. Become his friend, he is very funny, sweet and cool to be around. I honestly was so scared to first take this class with him because of the other reviews but I'm so glad I didn't listen. He may run out of patience from time to time but he truly cares about his students. Will literally go step by step with you if you need any help. There's only two lab assignments, three exams and online quizzes.

at first you might think you are going to fail and have no hope, trust me i thought the same but prof ittah will motivate you and encourage to stay. he grades based on attendance, 3 exams and 2 project assignments. professor Ittah is straight forward. sometimes will shout you out in front of the class but thats his personality.

He was sarcastic & pretty funny. You are graded on weekly quizzes based on the labs (arent too bad as long as you make sure to read them/pay attention in class) & the midterm and final exam. He drops the 2 lowest quiz scores. Hes a pretty chill professor overall Id say.

Great person, great professor, and very nice man. Very hilarious at times to keep you engaged during class. He really cares about you learning. You have 2 exams, some quizzes and the labs. He at times is loud but he does it to get your attention and be funny not to intimidate anyone. Youll enjoy his class

He is a good teacher, pretty funny guy and he is very loud so if you dont like yelling told take him LOL. He cares a lot about teaching students so make sure you attend his lectures and ask questions there. The only downside to him is that he doesnt answer emails other than that everything he says in class is on the quizzes he gives

Professor Ittah keeps you engaged in the course, he gives great lectures and really gets you interested in the subject. I recommend him to everyone. As long as you show up and do the online homework you will pass the exams. we had 5 exams all online and around 5 person textbook assignments the entire course.

Professor Ittah is quite unique. He has a heavy but understandable accent, he is really funny, knows a lot about Biology, and tries to keep you engaged with the class. Yes, he is loud and may lose his temper sometimes, but you will actually learn some interesting facts. His attendance policy is not that strict, hw is not hard, exams are doable.

Take him in person. He is very nice and wants you to learn. There is a lot of material, but the lab was always fun. Exams are fair, and you are going to be well prepared. Quizzes are simple and online. 2 reports that are easy if you follow instructions.

Prof. Ittah is an insanely smart man. He only wants what's best for you and if you are looking to cheat, don't take him. Only cons are that exams are extremely long, no backtracking, and timed. He goes quick but teaches it so well that you retain the information immediately. Any class is going to be hard but his humor and humility make it better

I don't usually write reviews but Professor Ittah is one of the best Bio teachers, I honestly wish I had him for lecture. He likes to make the class fun and interactive while cracking jokes. Tests are a decent bit of your grade but should be fine as long as you study. All he cares about is that you show interest and learn while doing so.

He is a really good professor, passionate and you will really learn from his class. Few homework, one quiz per lab and 2 exams. He gives you grade for attendance. I would totally recommend him, he makes learning enjoyable and answers every question you have, is very knowledgeable. The only thing, he has an accent but overall and amazing teacher.

Professor Ittah is Awesome, really funny and keeps you entertained threw the entire lectures. Class is graded mainly on the mid-term and the final plus attendance. One. quiz per lab and 2 HW assignments for the whole semester. Good balance between easy and actually learning the material.

He can be loud sometimes, and rude other times, but he was a really nice guy at heart. If you find reasons to not like him, you'll find them, but overall he was a friendly dude and pretty funny. I liked him. Aside from that, his lab is super easy to pass, if you're good with the lecture, you'll pass the lab.

Tests were supposed to be on lockdown browser in class but weren't. Has all hw assignments open from the first day of class half are due before spring break and the other half are due on the last day of class. Posts all the lectures to follow along, pay attention to notes not in lectures. Does not like phones out

Online homework is very tedious and takes very long. The tests were supposed to be lockdown but they weren't. He is very understanding and will usually extend the homework if you ask.

Professor Ittah is genuinely a good person, and hilarious! He makes the class fun and enjoyable if you pay attention. Give him respect and he'll do the same. The course is a bit challenging if you don't study but it is manageable. He gives you the presentations ahead of time to study, and the tests are pretty straightforward.

Professor Ittah does his best to keep the class engaged with humor and plentiful real life examples. The grades are simple show up and do the homework and you'll be quite set. The tests he gives are straight forward but do require some studying. Nothing you wouldn't expect from a STEM class. Apply yourself and he'll make learning both fun and easy.

He has super funny and engaging lectures. Lab is very fun as well. Tests can be challenging if you don't study for them, but this is a STEM class so you should try a little anyways.

This class is hard, the exams are on paper but if you study you will do great. He is a great professor, very caring. if you did bad in a test he let you retake it. He is funny and again VERY CARING. I loved him as a professor but it was a very hard class.

Honestly if u want an easy A dont take this professor but he clearly knows a lot about biology so if ur very motivated for that take it beware of his accent
