This class was so horrible! Please don't take her u will regret it at the end of the semester. She was VERY unorganized! She made promises she didn't keep. LAB EXAMS were horrible, they weren't organized or timed. The only ppl that passed were repeaters. She had rushed through material & added an extra test at the end of the semester.
I took her during summer so it was easy but not so easy because you had to put in time to study and go over the material a few times but it managed to stick at least for me the hardest things was the lab examsi didn't understand them much and was very difficult but she helps if you ask and she gives lots of extra credit so it should help p.s study
Overall, great professor. She lectures clearly and will gladly elaborate on any topic to make it easier to understand. Tries her best to make the class passable, and will even offer study sessions prior to tests, which was effective and many students who went to class early for that scored much better. Show up, pay attention, and its an easy A.
Mrs. Sirajuddin was an amazing Anatomy 32 Teacher. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient. Being a former student of hers and now taking physiology I have realized that she gave me the proper tools to build a strong foundation for my future science classes. She challenged us ,taught us, and was very diligent in her lectures. Ryan
I loved having Mrs. S as a professor! She is very passionate about Bio and Chem, she is very helpful and truly cares for her students! The material is definitely not easy but she provides power points via e-mail and all lecture and lab exams come from the material. She gives ton of e.c. and has study reviews b4 tests! Put effort in and expect a A/B
Ayesha is a very fair professor. If you show up take notes, read, and ask questions anybody can succeed in her class.
Ayesha is a very knowledgeable teacher. She is passionate about science which makes the class easier to "digest" and fun. She is tough but fair and helpful. Don't miss class and come prepared, take notes (record classes), ask a lot of questions and go to SI.
The class wasn't the most organized, there was little time to spend in Lab. the lecture was OK though confusing at times. Professor tends to expand off topic specially if some students have more previous knowledge on the subject. class topics covered at a fast phase, confusing at times
Just study and show up and you should be good to go, honestly.
Thanks to the Lord Jesus I somehow passed despite sleeping all the time and missing class for a week straight. She told me I most likely would not pass, but God had other plans!!
Definitely one of the worst classes I've ever taken, lectures are about 3-4 hours, and labs are about 20-30 mins. Her thick accent is a bit hard to understand, and she isn't likely to help you with tests/hw, and says things like you should already know that! Her tests were extremely hard, and often times were not on the study guide.
Good teacher overall. I do feel we needed more lab time to study certain models and also a longer break time than 10 minutes before we start our lecture again.
Dr Ayesha Sirajuddin is dedicated and goal oriented professor. She has good command of the subject matter and understands how to impart knowledge to students. At the sane time, she is sympathetic and very understanding, She encourages and inspires students.
Anatomy is a tough subject to begin with. However, she tries to help the most she can and does her best to make sure you understand the material. The class does require lots of reading and studying. Allow yourself to have enough time to study. Exams can be easy if you study and fully understand the material. Overall great class! loved it!
Good teacher. Study powerpoint.
Great professor! There is a lot of material that she goes over, but provides a study guide and review before the exam. I would recommend creating a strong, study group.
I studied every day + got 99% in the class. Review notes, study the study guides for tests. Some were in study groups, but I don't think it's needed to succeed, I was not in one. Quizzes every Monday but it keeps u on your toes + always studying, so when tests come up you are well prepared! Didn't buy the book, but used my lab book as a textbook.
Has lots of of funny relevant stories that help in tests, Hope the school lets her teach physio!
I Highly recommend to take her class power points are extremely helpful during lecture definitely print those out and pay attention in class to get an A on exam she let you know during lecture which essay questions will be on the exam so take good note! Also the review before the exam are extremely helpful and study guide are helpful too. TAKE HER
I'm glad I took Professor Sirajuddin because I liked the structure of her class except the quizes that comes every week . I think she is a fair grader and gives a lot of credit for homework and participation. If you are bad with accents then you shouldn't take the class from this particular professor but other than that issue, I thoroughly approve.
Professor Sirajuddin taught the material extremely well. She is down to earth, very understanding, and will give you plenty of advise to pass the class. With extra credits offered on every tests, it wasn't a surprise to find most of my scores over 100. *Watching crashcourseA&P on youtube BEFORE class, and forming study groups will lead you to an A
She is a very good and knowledgeable professor regarding Anatomy. She wasn't very difficult unless you didn't read the material. Her tests are pretty straightforward from her notes and lectures. We didn't need a textbook only the lab manual for homework. She will allow you to copy the homework from the book. So rent the lab manual if possible
IMPORTANT: TEST SCORES DETERMINE GRADE (about 90%) so study/prepare tests mostly lecture notes/powerpoint slides, name location function of body parts organ tissue physiology etc, know anatomy models from class, see pics in lab book, go to class & study guide for test materials, multi choice fill in blank summer class, got A, You can do it!
I just finished her summer course...I'm going to be honest the class was tough since it was only eight wks long but Professor Ayesha is great! Make sure for lecture exams you read her power points and for lab test make sure you know the models in class. Would definitely take her if she was teaching Physio.
Class felt tough, since it was Summer session. But, Prof. Ayesha gives you everything you need to pass. Pay attention to ppt, take notes, do tedious lab worksheets, and attend class. Go beyond memorization, understand the material, and expose yourself to lab models. Study groups/class reviews unnecessary. She gave a solid foundation for Physio!
Take anatomy 32 with this professor. I had summer class. She is helpful and informative and will tell you what you need to study. All the materials you need for tests will be covered in class, so attendance is highly recommended. I also recommend you study the notes a lot because tests cover a lot of things.
Very informative, you can ask her anything and she'll know the answer to it! Shes a walking google and she has so much respect for her students, lectures are a little lengthy but very condensed with information which is perfect for studying. Would take this class again!
Dr. Sirajuddin is excellent and I highly recommend her for Anatomy 32. The course is followed according to the syllabus in terms of material covered, assignments, etc. as well as dates -- there are no "surprises" if you attend class and pay attention. She is an expert on the subject and provides students with the resources needed to succeed.
I think she is an amazing teacher. She cares about her students and what's going on in their life. This teacher is so intelligent, she amazes me how much she knows. I enjoyed taking this class, I learned so much about the human body, things I didn't know before. She is definitely a teacher I will remember
Worst professor ever. She just rambles on and on. Tests you on stuff that was not covered in class. Very rude at times.. Most unorganized class and its an important class.
I really loved this class! She is really engaging in her lectures, not boring at all. She really knows her material very well and she is passionate and cares about her students. She is happy to answer and clarify any questions you have. As long as you listen to the lecture then you will be prepared for the quizzes and exams. Has a lot of patience.
I love love love love love this professor ! she is amazing, caring, and knowledgeable. she goes over everything that you need to know for exam/quiz she cares about her students a lot she is very patient even if you keep repeating the same question she will makes sure you understand it pay attention in class and print out her power point.
There's a lot of work in this class, which is to be expected, but it's easy enough to do well if you put the effort in. Sometimes the lectures are a bit dry but it's hard to make Anatomy super interesting. She gives plenty of opportunity for extra points and homework to bolster your grade up even if you don't do perfect on the tests!
Professor Sirajuddin is a great professor that very knowledgeable and wants her students to do well in the course. She gives so MANY opportunities for everyone to do well. You need to put in some study time and don't expect a grade to be given but that's COLLEGE. It was an easy class for me and it can be easy and worthy if you study.
Professor Sirajuddin is very knowledgeable on the subject she teaches. She lectures very thoroughly and explains how things work. She was always willing to help students when they asked. She doesn't assign too much homework, but she makes sure you study by giving quizzes each week. Studying for the quizzes prepared me a lot for the tough exams.
Study guides are a waste of time you need to know whole chapters Her wording can throw you off for some of the test/HW questions You really have to apply yourself in her class no easy A 12 quizzes 4 lecture/lab exams 1short article Don't miss class details are left out of slides intentionally She drops lowest exam and quiz plenty of extra credit
Clear guidelines for grading were laid out in the syllabus and you have several chances to raise your grade via hw, paper and other extra credit opportunities. Instructor's accent may be an issue for most students, if you study before class, you will be able to keep up. Completing the study guide also helps to understand the concept esp for PHYS 31
Professor Sirajuddin is a kind & knowledgeable instructor. She gives quizzes weekly, but they are helpful to keep you on track of studying. Lectures & exams are based on her PowerPoint slides.
Very kind and nice lady. She gives lots of extra credit. However, teaching could be improved by 1) Studying anatomy models for lab exam (we had to find them & learn on Sidhu Compton) 2) Making lectures more interesting, because they are extremely boring Be ready to read anatomy book on your own because PowerPoints don't give full/good explanation.
I can honestly say Ive never learned so much from other professors the way I did with professor Ayesha. She is so intelligent. Shes always open for extra help and is available for office hours. I would definitely take her again and I definitely recommend her. Pay attention, do the work, go to class and youll definitely pass with a good grade
The teacher is nice and will give concessions if you need it. Tests are slightly harder than the average, but with studying can definitely be passed. There is extra credit, which I dislike personally, but most people do enjoy that I think. Professor likes the lecture, and makes the occasional mistake, however this is not that uncommon.
I love her she is the best teacher ever. She takes her time to teach and cares about her students learning. Even repeatable question she loves to explain. she is super informative and knowledgeable. Her class is not difficult if you read and come class. she is not a strict grader and give extra credit. I'll definitely take her physio class too!
She's an amazing teacher. Anatomy is a tough class but she does a great job of consolidating the information for students. She has long office hours so she is available for extra tutoring which helped me out a lot. She's very straight forward with what she expects from her students. Follow along with the lectures, study hard, and you'll do great.
Professor Sirajuddin is a awesome professor, she is very knowledgeable and helpful. I Highly recommend her. Its a hard class but if you study, attend class everyday and pay attention to her lectures, youre good! Also, theres a quiz every week for this class to keep you on track. Therefore, be prepared to STUDY STUDY STUDY!
Anatomy is tough, that being said, Dr. Sirajuddin covers everything that she expects you to know. There is a quiz every week, which is for your own good to keep you on track. Her exams aren't tough as long as you put in time to study. She is very knowledgeable and caring. She also provides you with her PP notes, which are very helpful. Take her!
Professor Ayesha is an amazing teacher. She is very sweet and knowledgeable about the subject and is willing to help students outside the classroom. It is a hard class but if you study, attend class and pay attention, you'll do well. She also has weekly quizzes but they help keep you on track. I would definitely take her again. Take her shes a gem!
Regardless of where you take anatomy, it's going to be difficult. Though anatomy is a tough subject, Dr. Sirajuddin makes the class very fun. Her class is composed of 3 midterms and 1 final (each midterm/final has a lab + lecture portion). You don't really have to read the book. Her exams are mainly focused on what is learned during lecture.
She is great, i would recommend to take her class. Exams are from her powerpoint, and she covers all important things should know.
Highly recommend taking professor Sirajuddin for anatomy. Very knowledgable in her field and willing to help her students. There are 3 exams, 1 final (half is cumulative) and 1 paper. Book is not necessary but can be helpful when looking at pictures. A quiz is given once a week and attendance is also mandatory.
Lecture HEAVY, but thats expected of an anatomy class. Ayesha is a very sweet professor who rlly knows her stuff! :) -Goes into great detail about everything so pay attention -Weekly quizzes to help u stay on track -Emails the slides n provides a study guide b4 tests -DO THE HW & LAB WS!!!! They will save ur grade Take her if u get the chance!!
I was scared to take anatomy and I am glad I was in her class because although anatomy requires time and dedication I loved everything we learned. We only use the lab manual which is nice. Lectures are long but is only fair as there is a lot of material to cover. Dont be afraid to ask questions !
This professor is hands-down the sweetest if you are respectful to her. Make sure you study for the quizzes and test. There is a final paper, but it is really easy. She can always help you during her office hours. I would definitely take her again for physio. Science classes are always challenging, but she makes it doable.
Professor Sirajuddin is one of the best professors I've ever had! Anatomy is a hard subject but professor S has a way of explaining different topics in laymans terms so that you can understand it. Its definitely your responsibility to study because the test are challenging but she gives you several opportunities for pass! Take her! You wont regret!
Dr. Ayesha was very clear that you needed to spend time to learn the material outside of class. She was very knowledgeable in her field and answered any questions you had. For her dissections of the cat, be prepared and have your lab manuals ready so you can go over it more thoroughly on your own after she goes through it.
Professor Sirajuddin is a fair professor and if you study you should have no problems passing her class. I took Anatomy 32 with her this past Spring and I must admit that there is a lot of body parts/organ systems to learn. However, if you do not procrastinate and you pace yourself, then you should be fine. Be on time or you will miss the quiz.
Professor Sirajuddin is helpful when you show your interest to study. Anatomy is hard , and needs a lot of study. She gives out PowerPoints as study material and study guide. Take advantage of extra credit. Her exams and quizzes are from her lecture. You can get A if you study hard enough!
Dr. Ayesha loves to teach her students. We had quizzes every week, which she drops the lowest 3 , 3 lecture exams and 3 lab practicum, plus the final which is 30% of the entire grade. Advice: do not miss class, study the quizzes like they are a test, lab homework helps, go to her office when you don't understand a topic and you will do well.
Very hard and tough class. Instructor is boring we literally sit for more than 3 hours hearing her talk, slide after slide. Quizzes everyweek, extremely hard practicums and lecture test. Stressful and torture! Not a good teacher!
Dr. Sirajuddin is wonderful! She can seem unapproachable but is kind and understanding. She will answer all ?s. The book isnt required - tests are based on lecture (the book does help). 3 big tests and final, quizzes every week (keeps you on track & drops lowest 2), a paper, and lab manual ws. I wish I could take her for physio!
Study study study!! You will not pass if you don't study her lectures. My best advice, go to the learning center on campus and study the anatomy models as well. Dr. Ayesha was kind enough to summarize our entire anatomy book into slides. So study that, take notes and u should do well. Ask her for additional help during office hours. Very helpful.
You must put in the study time to pass this class... She gives you her lecture slides and most of the things that will be on the quiz and test will be on her slides. STUDY THOSE SLIDES! If you study her slides, show up to class and be an active learner in class you will forsure pass! She's a pretty good professor overall.
The teacher lectures for most of the class time and does lab side by. There is a quiz every Monday, its a helpful way to go over material and be aware of what she might ask in a test. You must do the lab manual if you want to guarantee to get those extra points to help your grade. Shes a fun teacher though and is open to students asking Qs!
Dr. Sirajuddin was amazing! Anatomy itself is a tough subject and she was always open for clarification if you needed it. She has great knowledge on the subject which was shown through her lectures. Some days were packed with information, but if youre like me and enjoy anatomy, the time will go by fast. Take her class!
Professor Sirajuddin is very very easy to approach. Shes very intelligent and knows what shes talking about. You do get extra credit for every time you come to class. Her tests are long but she goes over everything you need to know the day before. Also, the links that she provides in the beginning of the semester are very helpful.
Wonderful teacher. She's clear about what she expects from you up front. Book helps but not necessary, ext credit for attendance, only counts your highest 10 quiz grades, lets you record her going over models during review sessions which is SUPER helpful. Studying is absolutely crucial, everything on her tests is in the slides and covered in review
Exams about every 4 weeks. Quizzes every week. Lecture and Lab exams were on the same day. Honestly an easy A if you study. More than enough extra credit opportunities to pass the class.
Dr. Ayesha Sirajuddin is the best instructor that I ever had though my education. She is enthusiastic and very enjoys in her teaching. She teaches the concept thoroughly via her detailed power points to make sure that we are good to go to the next level. She takes extra work to create a lot of quizzes to let us the chances to study and get credits.
Dr. Sirajuddin is an amazing professor. She is very passionate about teaching and very knowledgeable. She goes beyond what needs to be taught in class but it gives you a better understanding of the material. Her class isnt easy but she is definitely worth taking! Youll know a lot about anatomy and be able to retain it for physiology. Thanks Prof!
She is an amazing teacher! I recommend taking her I learned so much and she gives extra credit so don't miss class. plus she gives amazing stories, she really ties in anatomy to relevant things you need to know.
Anatomy in itself is a really tough subject, but she does her best to make sure that you learn the material and pass her class. Study everyday because it helps you retain the material. She really cares about her students and always willing to answer any questions you have. She is an exceptional professor and would definitely take her class again.
Dr. Sirajuddin is a captivating speaker. During lecture, you can really tell that she understands the material and cares deeply about making sure that her students do the same! Anatomy can be a very dry topic, but her lectures cover the subject matter in a way that is both informative and highly enjoyable. 10/10, would take physiology with her!!!
Dr. Ayesha is a wonderful professor. If you want a good grade, you MUST work for it. Attendance is mandatory! Skip class, and you wont pass. You don't need the book only the lab booklet. Get ready to read, read, read her lectures. That's all you need!! Overall, excellent professor.
Great professor, really knows the topic. Participate in class and she will like you. Study her lecture slides and labs. You will forsure pass. 100% recommend Dr. Sirajuddin
Professor Sirajuddin is amazing and very knowlegeable! In order to pass, you must study and keep up with her lectures along with her powerpoints. Also, focus and just do your work. Its only a semester long. As long as you study, participate, and go to class, you will do great. If you have questions, don't be afraid to ask. She wants us to succeed.
Dr. Ayesha Sirajuddin is an excellent professor and really cares about her students understanding the concepts. She is fair and is easily accessible for extra help. I enjoyed her lectures and looked forward to her class each week. You have to definitely work for a good grade; do the readings, go to class and engage in the material.
no disrespect but she has a very hard accent and its very hard to distinguish the words that are coming out of her mouth for me to learn. I think its important to sit really close to understand her. Plus she gives you two ways to come up with extra credit one is a 5 to 6 page pager on science today and second is during lab assignments
The best science professor I've ever taken! She does have an accent, but is def not hard to understand. Your grade is not solely based off of quizzes & exams like other prof, which gives you some leeway. Will go over subjects over & over until you understand as well as her quizzes! I will be taking her for physio & microbio But you do need to study
I had a difficult time at the beginning of the semester, but Prof. S always reminds you to remain focused &work hard for your grade. Her tests/quizzes are based on her PowerPoint lectures, no book needed(but will help). Print out the slides& write additional notes on them! Shes a great teacher, and I hope to take her for future classes!!!
Professor Sirajuddin was an amazing teacher! I took Anatomy with her this past semester, and yes, it was hard! But she made it enjoyable to learn. She was also very helpful at further explaining when you didn't understand a topic. If you put in the effort, you will walk out of her class with a good grade! I highly recommend taking her!
Amazing professor! Great class. I walked away actually retaining the information instead of simply memorizing for the exam and forgetting about the material the next day! Take her for Anatomy!
Amazing professor that really cares. Lab exams are the hardest part of the class but she reviews everything that will be on it the week before. The lecture exams are very easy if you pay attention. She is very fair and it's easy to get an A if you put in the work.
Professor Sirajuddin was such a breath of fresh air. Science classes are very challenging especially for returning students who are changing careers. Her teaching style and information is very straight forward. She gives lecture and lab tests that she will review the day before. A lot of information to retain but if you do the work you'll pass.
This class is tough, you won't pass unless you put the effort in. Don't plan on missing lecture. If you do, it really throws you off and you have to study outside of class to catch up. But never be afraid to ask her questions and communicate with her. She really cares about her students and tries her best to help everyone. I highly recommend!!!
She is a gem. She is easy to understand. She talks slow and enunciate key concepts. My only gripe is it's still all kind of manual. She should have like a google doc site where we can just download the slides read ahead or post grades. She will e-mail you the materials instead. She is very well respected and a bit intimidating.
This professor lectures lectures lectures and lectures, non stop. She doesn't teach anything you're on your own to learn. Not helpful gets mad at any questions that stop her from lectures lectures lectures and lectures. Be warned unless you know Anatomy already, go to El Camino torrance where the professors actually teach the students not lecture.
Professor Sirajuddin is amazing. She's very passionate about her work and has a wealth of knowledge. While anatomy is a challenging subject, she walks you through the material with ease. She's good about grading assignments promptly. She gives the opportunity to improve your grade by assigning extra credit. Practicums and weekly quizzes were fair.
Be prepare to study a lot because to me this was the hardest class I have ever taken. There is 1 essay(2-4 pages),quizzes(12#), 3 exams, 1 final exam. You can get an A just know that you will have to earn it. She is a good professor I plan on taking her for physiology.
Be prepared to learn on your own. She lectures for 4 hours straight and doesnt stop talking so class can be boring. She's on top of updating grades and offers extra credit. 3 practicum and exams, 1 research paper, final exam and a quiz every week. Anatomy is not easy and sometimes she doesnt explain it well so go to tutoring and watch videos
I heard good things about this professor and decided to take her for physiology. Physiology is a difficult subject and requires a lot of studying. During lab she doesnt explain the procedures very well(which you need to know for lab). If she says certain material wont be on test, dont believe it, you will be tested on it. Study guides dont help.
Prof. Sirajuddin made science interesting. She taught and you learned. She is more than a Professor she really cares about her students sucess. She is available for her students. In this class I did not feel intimidated to ask questions and participate. Thank you Professor.
Physio is not an easy subject. Even though Sirajuddin lectures well if you want an A you must get the textbook to understand (do not memorize). She is open and willing to help. Questions are always answered until understood. She will test in depth so be prepared. Other than that you will learn Physio with her IF you do your part.
Difficult class, but if you study and do all your homework you should do just fine on the quizzes and exams. She gives a lot of extra points for attending class everyday and also extra points for effort which will help a lot with final grade. She loves what she do and really cares about your future.
This professor is so unorganized! I heard great things about her and was so disappointed. Lectures are overwhelming and will not focus on the most important things, you will need to study hundreds of slides!!. Be prepared to be tested on things she said would not be on the exam. She does not explain lab procedures, you are on your own.
ONE OF THE MOST UNORGANIZED PROFESSORS IVE MET. Doesn't respond to email. I'm currently still in her class and due to COVID19, its online now. Prior to this, I asked her for help on a lab because none of the class did it right since all our test tubes were contaminated,.. she told me to GOOGLE THE ANSWERS.. NUFF SAID.
She truly cares about her students. She gives quizzes for each chapter which helps you in the end. (Trust me huge life saver)Those extra points adds up towards the end. Read all the lecture slides, her test and quizzes are solely upon that. You may use the book as a reference. Attendance is MANDATORY to pass. Study guide for all exams.
Professor Sirajuddin is amazing! Even though physiology could be a lot of information, she really makes sure to take the time to explain the material. Make sure to stay on top of studying for weekly quizzes, to do well on exams (3 exams + 1 final). You definitely have to work for an A. A lot of work, but doable. Highly recommend.
Ayesha is an amazing professor, but! You have to work for your grade. Our class switched to online due to covid-19. Lecture heavy but study her power point slides & study guides & you'll do well, I only read a few ch. She will drop a few quizzes at the end of the semester to help your grade. Utilize her office hours! She is very caring & helpful.
I enjoyed Professor Sirajuddin's class that I took her for Anatomy & Physiology. She's very knowledgeable, caring & patient. She's very good at explaining things. We switched to online because of Covid. Her lectures are based on power point slides and provides a study guide before each exam. Weekly quizzes are helpful. HIGHLY recommend her!!
She's okay. I took her because she had a lot of good reviews, but wanted to drop the second week into this class. Lectures are mandatory for weekly quizzes. She provides a study guide for each exam; however, it is not very helpful. She'll tell you "Well you should have been studying all of the material anyway" Pretty hard to contact as well.
Professor Sirajuddin will not respond to emails, and then act as she did. All she did was read off of PowerPoints for 4 hours. There is no interaction with the class, or with the Professor. I feel like I was taking an online course instead of an asynchronous class. Takes long to grade your assignment if it is not automatically graded.
A powerful lecturer and demonstrates a high level of mastery. Describes physiological processes with ALL the great details, thus one is getting a high-quality education. Showing up to lecture is NOT enough. READ the chapters at least twice, EMPHASIZE on the powerpoint notes, create your OWN study guides. Hard work for sure, but you will learn.
Professor Sirajuddin is amazing she explains everything patientely and she have no problem answering questions and repeating the explanation. Please take her with no hesitation.
Dr. Sirajuddin is so unorganized. Before taking her class i came on here to view her reviews and decided to take her, after 2 weeks I wanted to drop! All she does is read off slides, 2 quizzes every week and test every 2-3 weeks. You cant reach her most of the time and the way canvas is set up is horrible. Missed so many labs, couldnt find them.
The class was very boring. All she does is read off the slides. Unaccessible outside of class and hardly even reads the zoom chat. Very unorganized. You're pretty much on your own if you can't handle someone reading off slides to you for 3+ hours. A quarter into the semester, I gave up and just ended up teaching myself with youtube. Quizzes daily.
you will appreciate her if you want to succeed
She clearly explains the material very well. She also adds extra points to the exam in case if the class is not doing well. The material is dependent mostly on the slides. Book is not mandatory but just an aide in case if you don't understand. Sadly, you can't make up quizzes/tests in case if you get absent but hopefully she changes that policy.
Disorganized, poor grammar, not flexible with students' needs, claims to give extra credit but not really since the assignments is #/# instead of #/0. Claims that the lab final is all multiple choice whereas in reality there are some short essay questions. Lies that the quizzes are not cumulative. She needs to be more honest.
I took professor Sirajuddin for A & P. Her lectures are LONG & boring. she gives you assignments that help & weekly quizzes. She gives a study guide that is HEAVY. I did not find the study guide very helpful. Overall she cares for her student she wants you to pass and she will give extra credit. She isn't easy but do the work and you'll do fine.
She was a decent professor, I would take her class again if she was teaching something else. The extra credit was fun (to me at least) to complete, she gives many chances to get the best grade. I wish the slides were more detailed so the lecture wasn't so heavy .IF SHE ASK YOU TO TAKE YOUR EXAM ON ZOOM TAKE YOUR EXAM ON ZOOM
She could have been a better professor if we can access our test results to find out our mistakes on the test, but you have to make an appointment to meet her on xoom to find out. Not enough time is given on quizzes because the way her questions are there is two questions in one question and you only have 1 minute for that question.
Yes, anatomy is lecture heavy. Lots of PPT slides and dense. It requires a lot of study/reading/videos on your own. Stay on top of work. The professor truly cares that you succeed. She is flexible to your needs and requirements outside of school-give her notice. Tests/quizzes curved in helping lesser scores. She brings knowledge
She clearly summarizes each topics discussed and reviews materials before a test is given. I learned a lot from her, by walking through each part of the anatomy structures down to the minute details. Very detailed and informative, helpful, making sure each of us students understands the subjects in each of the body systems.
Professor Sirajuddin is very knowledgeable and wants her students to succeed. If you want to learn the material definitely take this class as it will prepare you for physio.
She is enthusiastic about physiology and knows what she is talking about. I learned a lot in this class. I recommend it if you want to truly learn. There is a lot of useful and important content covered. She is caring and wants her students to do well. Make sure you participate and study a lot. Review all your notes weekly and attend all classes.
Dr. Sirajuddin is a great professor who knows the material! I enjoyed her class. Physiology is a hard subject, so lectures are heavy. However, she prepares students by giving straightforward weekly quizzes. Exams are fair & she provides study guides. She also is very generous giving students extra credit. Attend class, ask questions & study!
Dr. Sirajuddin is an amazing professor. She is very passionate about physiology and she wants her students to do well. This course is rigorous but it is possible to succeed. Be sure to attend lecture, be engaged, and study lecture notes. She highlights important things to know in her lecture slides.
She is amazing so knowledgeable about the subject . I learned such from her class. Every day in class felt like a learning explosion iny brain, making the hours fly by. I would love to retake her class just to sit an listen. I have ao many other things to say but i will let you experience her class.
Extremely unorganized. Not tech savvy so you will have a difficult time meeting deadlines. She does give a lot of time in between homework assignments though. The biggest downfall is the unorganized modules. If you're a busy person, it will be nearly impossible to keep up. Everyone in the discourse group was confused and teaching themselves.
She is very professional. She explains concepts very well and is always available if and when I have concerns about a certain topic we covered in class. I think she is a very good teacher and her next students will like her as much as I did.
Not for those looking for an easy pass. If you do the work and study her PowerPoints you will pass. Caring and knowledgeable. Homework/lab required but gives enough time to turn in. Many opportunities for points. Quiz are easy if you study but exams are more detailed, feels like physiology. You will learn!
This class is not easy! But the professor shared with us some cool ways to study that worked for her when she was in school. I realized the class wasn't impossibly to pass. I just needed to figure out my learning style since it's so much memorizing. I appreciate her patience, and dedication! I would recommend this professor.
Professor Sirajuddin is very passionate about the courses she teaches. She helps you out tremendously, like seriously. If you have a question, she'll answer it to the best of her knowledge and ability. If you are having trouble understanding or are confused, she will explain it thoroughly and explain it in detail through physical models or images.
She loves teaching this class, she is very knowledgeable and you can see it when she is teaching. She makes you feel like she cares about you as a student and she inspires you to become a better one. We need more professors like her. PB
Professor Sirajuddin is an amazing instructor. The lecture is dense but it's anatomy. If you do not have a strong background in the science, I would recommend reviewing your lecture notes before class, do not wait. She offers extra credit and homework assignments. She is great source of information and I'll be taking her for physiology.
Took this professor for the spring semester, she is an amazing professor! However, you have to put in the work. The lectures are long & detailed, but she will give you tips that have helped her learn! offers extra credit, a lot of quizzes but she drops some so it gives you flexibility! Lab exams are hard but study! your grade will reflect on it! :)
Her lectures are packed with information, there are many homework and other assignments. Plenty of chances to raise your grade. She offers lots of extra credit.
Ayesha is a great professor who really cares about her students' success. The class is challenging, but she provides helpful study tips and extra credit opportunities. unstuck AI was a game-changer for me when preparing for exams. Overall, I'd recommend this course if you're willing to put in the work.
Professor Sirajuddin was an amazing Professor. The class is lecture heavy but she gives many opportunities for extra credit and late assignments. She truly cares about her students and wants us to pass which is why she drops your lowest exam scores and lowest quiz scores. Do the study guides in advance and study and you are sure to pass.
My favorite professor ever!! Tough but in a good way that helps you retain the information. I took this class a few semesters ago in the evening but forgot to give rating. I recommend this professor if your major is nursing. You won't regret it. Her goal is to help you become a competent nurse ready for the workforce. She's awesome!
She is so amazing, I would take her again. She tells you what the quizzes and exams are going to be on. She was always willing to make sure we understood the topic. I've visited her office hours plenty of times. Physiology is not an easy course so to get an A there was a lot of studying to do.
The professor teaches anatomy very well, but the class is tough. Earning an A requires serious effort and study. The hard work pays off, especially when preparing for the TEAS exam for nursing. I still remember a lot from her class because of how much effort it took to succeed. If you don't plan in studying hard then I would not recommend it.
Awesome professor! It is a tough class where you need to study and put in the work, but she really cares about the success of her students. She gives plenty of opportunities to gain extra points. Would definitely recommend for taking a difficult class like Anatomy.
