Professor Stark is really knowledgeable but her exams are really hard. You need to memorize her PowerPoints and her final is cumulative

PROFESSOR STARK IS VERY CARING AND EMPHASIZES LEARNING. SHE MOTIVATES HER STUDENTS AND SHE IS VERY HONEST. HER EXAMS ARE LONG AND VERY HARD.

Professor Stark is genuinely invested in the well being of her students. That much definitely comes across. The exams are not difficult. She provides review sessions and tells you what materials to study. Just study and you'll do fine.

Dr. Stark is an amazing professor and one of the best professors I have ever had. Her care to her students success is incredible. She is well organized and more than qualified to teach this class. She is very lenient when it comes to late submissions. She very inspirational and will encourage you to to do more. I definitely recommend Dr. Stark!!!!

Tests are 50 questions short answer & multiple choice. Very kind professor and really cares about students learning rather than caring about grades. But make sure you participate, attend class regularly, and understand how she wants you to answer questions on the tests.

Dr. Stark genuinely cares about her students. She stopped giving tests because she believes that they hinder students' ability to learn. Her class was a lot of work, but it was a great learning experience. I would strongly recommend her class to anyone who is interested in the subject and doesn't mind a challenge.

For the people that complain about her, it is because they are students who wait till the last minute and get upset when deadlines have been set since day one. She is an amazing and caring professor who wants us to take away a great deal from the course. If you talk to others or play on your laptop in class you won't pass.

I am someone who honestly is too scared to talk during class and this class was amazing. I didn't get called on once and have been doing just as well as those who answer questions. Her class isn't easy, its a 3000 level class but its doable with work. If you are this far in your studies and just want easy A's then you need to reevaluate your major.

Lecture style is pretty solid for a UTD professor. If you have issues with accents and aren't passionate about the subject matter, consider taking another professor. Keep all of your papers/homework/tests because she doesn't post grades online. I had to get my grade changed due to a miscalculation, and having the grades themselves helped a lot.

She has encouraged and she is positive about my future; she truly loves to teach and loves for her students to be successful.

Dr. Stark is a wonderful professor and she really cares about hr student's future. He'll admit her teaching style is a bit odd and organized, especially the pop quizzes that are not easy and difficult to study for, but overall the class is straightforward

I am a freshman and this class is a 4000 class for Seniors and I still got an A. There are 5 reading assignments, 1 written summary for each, 2 pop quizzes, a presentation and a manuscript. Memorize powerpoints to ace the quizzes and listen to her written feedback on your papers to get A's on those. Pay attention in class and do your work for an A

Stark is very sweet and encouraging and truly wants all her students to succeed. That being said, I had no idea what my final grade would look like until after the semester ended. The bulk of your grade comes from 3 pop quizzes along with a group project/manuscript. It's a 3000 level course for a reason so don't expect an easy A.

This class is such an easy A. Dr. Stark is a great professor who you can easily please by putting effort into her class. I came in fearing the worst from all these reviews, but by participating and actually doing research for the very doable homework she gives, I passed with an easy A+. Shes only stern to to those who sleep in the back. RECOMMEND.

I took Dr. Stark Spring 21 and I really liked her! She tied in personal stories with class material to help us understand the content and really wanted us to succeed. Participate in discussions and ask questions. Her quizzes were not a memorization game. They forced you to apply the class material to real world situations.

This course has 2 quizzes which she prepares you well ahead in time for, a few group assignments, and a final project. Taking really good notes in this class saved me. You have a group project but the class is pretty easy and the quizzes and exams are open notes. Pretty easy class as long as you do well on the group presentation which can be slightly annoying.
