He is good. Thorough. Offers office hours 5 days/wk. A bit difficult to understand at times, but for the most part, good. Its chemistry, not basket-weaving, so do your work and you will do well.

He is a really good professor, he explains the chapters very well, and is always asking students how much they are understanding so far, he gives hw every week but it helps u to pass the exam.. he also gives you an idea of what you should expect of the exams.. the only thing u should avoid in this class is Interruptions while he is explaining

I took this class for Spring 2015. The lectures are easy to understand and intuitive, the tests are all based off the homework. The homework assignments all have examples that teach you how to do the assignment and the class is interesting. This professor also is very helpful to those that never took chemistry and does not go quick in consideration

Pt1/ Professor Mahmood is a very kind and understanding person, and an excellent professor. Organic II is tough, but will help you every step of the way. The best thing you can do for your grade is do the HW, attend lectures (take notes while he speaks because he will highlight important material) and ask for help during office hours.

Pt2/ Professor Mahmood makes sure every student understands the baseline of Orgo before moving on to more difficult concepts. He gives you great notes (which are typed up) which contain every thing you must know for exams. Study these notes before class, and ask questions if you need clarification on anything. All in all, take his class if you can!

Orgo is no walk in the park, but Prof Mahmood is a fantastic teacher. He breaks down difficult concepts in a way that any student can understand.
