First off, the class average is around a 60% and class average on the final is well below that, still waiting to hear back on the curve...Class pace is excruciatingly slow, and tests you over material unlike that of the homework. Next to no partial credit on anything, and doesn't show up to office hours. If you have a choice, pass on Azza Fahim.
Her 1st semester @ UCF. Had higher expectations than she should have (Calculus not a prereq). Did eliminate most complex math though. HW easy but minimal part of grade. 1st test very hard, 2nd & final not bad. Never gave actual grading breakdown; syllabus written by different teacher for last semester, she just put her name on it & didn't follow it
She's an incredibly slow and boring lecturer, but she's straight to the point. She makes this subject very easy on you, but our TA's graded incredibly harsh, so we had very little room to slip on her tests/quizzes. She curves, which helped out our low class average. Very nice lady, but going to class was such a grind.
Nice lady who REALLY wants you to learn the material, which isn't really that hard. Worst part of the class was some of the test Qs didn't follow the format of the problems we had in class and HW, but you'd do fine if you really studied. First test was really hard but it was fine after that. I got a B+ with no curve. Lots of whiners in this class.
unreal expectations of IT students with no engineering and calculus background. Her accent was hard to understand. Power points were useless when it came to studying not a good teacher. Most people that passed were taking this for 2/3rd time around. Dont be fooled by her nice older lady look she is not "nice" at grading time. Does not curve.
1st test was way different than the way we learned things so she gave us a makeup and took the higher score. Never really gave the weight of HW & exam except for the final being 60%. If you pay attention and take notes instead of relying on the slides you should do fine, and anyone that spent class on their laptop web surfing deserves to not pass.
AVOID! If there is ever another teacher for this course, take them. Lectures are straight from powerpoint and do not follow with book one bit, you will learn them better w/o her. Very unwilling to help out students. Very selfish. She was way behind schedule and just crammed the last half of the class into 2 weeks before the final. NOT RECOMMENDED!
It's not that this teacher's teaching style is bad per se, it's that she got behind and crammed 1/2 a semester into the final 3 weeks of class. She "doesn't believe in formula sheets," which spells disaster in a formula heavy class like this one. Avoid this prof, take ee another semester if she's the only one, or take it at Valencia.
She's really not that bad of a teacher, class if very straightfoward.. She just doesn't manage schedule well... Curves at end so even if you flunk the final, you can still pass easily.
Recomend finding another professor. Again she crammed 1/3 of the class and the most difficult subjects into the last two weeks. She doesn't teach she reads her powerpoint slides. She is disrespectful to students when questions are asked. Her test are very difficult and different than the material she teaches. Her final is a extremely difficult.
She doesn't care about her students. She always posted her powerpoint notes 1 hr before the lecture(w/o the slides handy the lectures are waste of time) She posts the homework solutions impomplete, and her exam grading is unfair taking too many points for very small mistakes. AVOID HER if you can. She is seems nice but she is really the opposite.
The class isn't terribly hard, but the book is useless so all you have to go by is her notes. During class all she does is read the powerpoints. Tests are harder than the examples from class and the homework questions. But she tells you the first day of class that if you pay attention and do the practice problems and tests then you will pass.
I would just like to clarify there were four exams each worth 20%. Oh but wait there's 20% missing. Yes. There's a quiz each week 10 points each so in fact there is not six exams as stated below this post. The textbook is an addendum to her context so it goes hand in hand although her notes are much more helpful to predict what will be on the exam.
Not bad. Not great either. She is sometimes belittling to students who don't get it and frequently makes mistakes herself. As others have said, lecture material is the best indicator of what will be on the test. When I started rereading and working through the lecture notes slide by slide, I saw a big improvement in my test scores.
Excessively harsh in grading. Always acts annoyed when answering questions. Makes anyone who asks anything feel like crap. Changes policies at will and asks the hardest possible questions over uncovered material. Quizzes every 2 weeks. I got three 50s a 60 an 80 and a 4 (yes a four) and a 49 on the final and passed with a C so she REALLY curves.
WORST TEACHER EVER. You can't understand a thing she says. She reads off powerpoints riddled with mistakes. She provides homework solutions because there's no answers in the book, and her solutions have mistakes in them. We ended up wasting hours trying to find our mistakes when SHE was the one that made them. Tests are hard. 40% final. DON'T DO IT
If you want to pass her class, the only way is to get the previous exams and study them.
She reads verbatim off power-point slides, lecture is a waste of time. She has "quizzes" (tests) every 2 weeks which she will go over material the class before and then post homework after the class.
Her accent/English grammar are absurdly bad, nearly incomprehensible. Reads pwr pts. Ask a question, you'll get a smart remark like you're an idiot. If you go to her office hours SHE IS VERY RUDE and rushes you out even if no one else is waiting. Book is poorly written, no answers, no soln manual. Posts her own HW solns with many errors. dont do it
she gives me my first B in my academic career (I am junior now); even though I spend most of my time study for her class. YOU JUST CANNOT EXPECT WHAT CHAPTER IS COVERED ON THE EXAMS. She teaches you 1+1 =2 but she will ask 12*13+1213*9=??? on the exam. AVOID HER! SAVE THAT CLASS FOR NEXT SEMESTER IF HER CLASS IS THE ONLY ONE!
Very good teacher! She is great at explaining, answering questions, and making sure that you understand the material. Tests and quizes are not hard if you study. Speaks English better than some of my native English-speaking teachers! I would take another class with her.
It's not that the material is that hard, its just there is not enough time to prepare for the exams. Here is the problem, when you have to learn material that fast just to get a good grade on a test, there is no way you can retain what you learned; Final coming up, and i know nothing. My advice, do not take this class unless you absolutely have to
One of the worse professors at UCF. Strictly rely on SARC or other services if you wish to help yourself in the class. She is nearly illiterate, and everything she says isn't worth listening too. Recommend skipping classes to get tutored. She should be charged with fraud for coming to this school; and whatever degree she has is obviously fake too.
Well, what can i say? I passed.. But get this straight, she is not an easy teacher by any means.. Weekly quizzes, difficult exams.. Surprisingly enough, she was very easy to understand. She's got a really sinister sounding voice "DEE VOLTGESSS" she'll read right off the powerpoints all semester, which disappointed me.. Come on UCF. Pass on Azza.
Now i was forced to keep this clean becuase it says Please keep comments clean. Libelous comments will be deleted. This lady is 10/10 nuts! she gives a quiz every 2 weeks, and to kick us while we are on the ground, she gives HW 2 days b4 the test and expects us to know it in 2 days. What kind of justice is this?! but curves a whole letter grade :)
Professor: F. 'Nuff said. Just get a tutor or something; and UCF also has free review sessions. Material seems really easy (it is) but there is no way you will get what you need in class the definently pass. Remember ==> Professor: F
the tests are HARD. almost impossible, everyone fails. BUT, i dont get why everyone criticizes it, in the end she grades EXTREMELY fairly. I ended with a 63% avg, got a B-. Similar situations with a lot of my friends, so in retrospect its not REALLY too bad, just try to get a D or above and you'll end with a B or A for sure
There are only a few people I don't like and try to avoid...this professor is one of them. Take this class at valencia or something. I promise you, ANYONE eles would be better. Maybe lecture to a mirror, because even if you had no idea what you're saying... it would still be better. I cant even think of one good thing to say... EPIC FAIL
Her tests are not hard. They are fair. Her lectures might be very boring, but she explains in detail which is good...
She has a policy of not answering emails. In a class of 300 people you have no hope whatsoever of justice in grading. There is no SI for this class, only peer tutoring. The class should be otherwise the easiest to me and it's the hardest.
Got 84%, B+. I am sure I deserved more, in fact I am a straight-A student, except with her. Gave her 3.0 here just like that, out of my good heart.
Quiz every week, but if you review the previous lecture they're easy. Exams are difficult, but everything contained comes from her powerpoints. Redo the examples she goes over in class and use office hours if you don't understand something. Don't buy the book, she posts everything. *Most* people that complain only show up on quiz days & fail.
I am in the middle of her Principles of EE class now, and I would have to disagree with many of the other commentators. Her speech is accented but clear (if you actually listen) and the quizzes are not too difficult. The tests are kind of tough, but consider that you are trying to be an engineer, not a psych major. I would take her class again.
I too am in the middle of her EE class now. Her english isn't great, but what drives me to insanity is how fast she goes. She covers so much ground in a short period of time. She explains concepts as if we are her colleagues not students. She needs to slow it down. I would advise against taking her.
Definitely not an easy class, but not too hard either. Your grade will reflect the amount of work you put into it. Quizzes are super easy. Study hard for tests. They're challenging, but if you're prepared they'll seem fair!
She is good at explaining the material. Extremely difficult test. Quiz every week, straight forward, some are easy some are not. 3 tests, average 62.8%, 64.7% and 66.5% on the final. Staying within or above average is the key to pass. She curves a lot, but don't rely on it. Overall difficult, but stay in the average to pass.
She was a fair teacher who was concerned for us to understand the material. Tests are difficult, but halfway through my degree, I'd say it's about moderate for difficulty. My advice for you is to study the homework inside and out as well as you can. It seemed like tests and quizzes were pretty similar to the hw. Didn't really use book, just lecture
Took her for Electrical Networks. Would not recommend. Lacks communication skills in english. Only reads slides and rarely works out an example by hand. Try to switch to another prof. if you can she is one of the worst in the the EE/CPE program at UCF.
Class was not hard. Just know the process for each problem. Prof was horrible, she went so slow, it was easy to get lost/distracted. Test averages: 59,67,54. Probably due to her stupid grading system. Overall, take this class if you do problems until you get it. Dont take this class if you rely on learning the concepts from the instructor.
horrible teacher. I was actually interested in this class before going into it, but she makes it impossible to like this class. she's not helpful, she just reads from slides, her test problems arent even similar close to her quizzes or hw problems. shes so slow and boring, this class was just a drag
Tough teacher. She explains well. Hard test, easy weekly quizzes if you study. Hard grader... really harsh so make sure you do the test right if not you will get a straight zero.
Material wasn't terribly difficult, but she is really tough to communicate with outside of class, and her grading is terrible. I had a friend who gained 15 points by checking his test and finding more than one grader error, another's quiz grade changed from a 1 to a 7, "bad handwriting." Little to no partial credit given.
AWESOME PROF! TOTAL BABE TOO
Professor explains the concepts in class well. She reads straight from PowerPoint slides. Weekly NON-manditory homework assignments help with weekly quizzes. However, the quiz and test problems are not like the assigned probs or PowerPoint examples. She does not communicate out of class. No partial credit given unless answer is 100% correct.
I put so much effort into this class. Why didn't I get an A you ask? Because I'm not perfect at arithmetic. Yes, she will slash your points in HALF for sign changes, arithmetic errors, etc. No partial credit from this one. If you can take the tests (which are not too bad) and not make any mistakes, then you can get an A. She is a decent lecturer.
She is a nice lady. Her lectures are easy to follow. I took the class on Tuesday and Thursday, so there was a quiz every Thursday. Her exams were difficult, but if you look back at them afterward, you usually find that you made some dumb mistake. She does a square root curve at the end of the course. She does NOT give partial credit on answers.
Worst professor I've had at UCF by far. This is the first class I didn't pass here, all because she makes it seem like the material is easy, and then hits you with questions on the test that she made just to confuse you. HW is no help, quizzes are hit or miss with difficulty. Terrible class all around.
Does she deserve 5 stars? No, but I do think she is WAY underrated. I would definitely recommend her. The material is VERY straight forward, and the quizzes and tests and pretty much copied from the optional homework. Weekly quizzes are tough but, like I said, are copies from the HW. Do the optional homework, get an A. Welcome to Engineering.
Uses Powerpoints that are available before class, printing them out helps a lot. She provides Non-graded HW Assignments that are also helpful. The weekly quizzes are somewhat challenging. Some of the test/quiz problems seem straight out of left field (15% of them). Overall, Fahim is a good teacher, she explains clear/provides a lot of practice.
Make sure you do all homework and be ready for quizzes. NOT easy class at all if you do not study. Powerpoints are really helpful, make sure you understand the concepts
She reads off of power point slides every lecture. There is an in class quiz every week and these account for a decent percent of the grade. She posts all of her answers for the quizzes and the (non-mandatory) homework online so there are plenty of resources to study from
Fahim is a really fair professor. Homework is not graded but she posts it & the solutions online for your benefit. Weekly quizzes on that week's material. Tests are more challenging than examples - I had difficulty with time management during the exam. Her lectures seem long, but she explains everything in detail and likes class participation.
If you pay attention in class everything does make sense and she gladly tries to answer any questions people may have. Most people only showed up on quiz days, which you have once a week. They were my least favorite thing about the class because I bombed 3 of them in a row and it tanked my grade 10%. Tests are tough but if you study you'll be fine.
Overall a good teacher. She explains everything clearly. Doing the hw and examples in ppt really helped with the weekly quizzes (announced in class and relevant to the material learned that week). Test were harder than the hw, try and find previous semesters test for extra studying, it really helps. She denies curving grades but she does in the end
The lecture slides are not always accurate. She points out the things that are wrong in her slides in class, but if you try to study on your own using her ppts you'll end up very confused. No formula sheet allowed, and lots to memorize. She curves at the end of the semester. If you get Cs on the tests, you'll probably end up with a B+ or an A
Quizzes and tests are hard but not impossible. Quiz every Thursday so basically attendance is required. If you don't attend lectures you most likely won't learn. She's a nice person though and does enough examples for you to see the point, however the material can be difficult sometimes.
The class is very challenging and it doesn't help that I found it extremely boring. I found myself trying to stay awake in all of her lectures. she has quizes every week that are really tough to pass and are worth 20% . She then has 3 exams each worth 20% and no mandatory hw.
This professor's lectures are pretty good. She has an understandable structure and if you pay attention you will learn something. HOWEVER, she is very well known to test at a harder difficulty than she teaches, averages around 60%. She curves, sometimes as much as a square root curve, at the end of the semester as long as nobody asks for a curve.
Probably the worst class that I have ever had. The material wasn't too bad and I mostly understood it. But on the final she put a question on a topic the we spent not even a full class on with no hw problems and it was worth 20 points! Too bad she is the only professor for the course.
Get ready to memorize a whole lot of formulas. Don't let the homework fool you because tests will be much more difficult than the homework. Read the test questions carefully before answering. Need to review your calc and algebra because she will use them just to confuse you a little. Very nice lady and will help you if you go to her office hours.
Fahim teaches straight from her Powerpoints. No need for a book. Her lecture slides are ON POINT. But her tests are on steroids. Study your ass off or you'll get wrecked. Weekly quizzes were also difficult. My final grade in the overall class was a 56 which got curved to a C+. She most likely did the square root curve for our class.
She is a fine professor, and the formula for success is fairly straightforward. Review the notes, and do the posted homework (at least some) and you should be fine. Is it tough? Definitely can be, but make some friends and don't get intimidated. She gave a generous curve at the end of the semester.
GO TO CLASS. The material is easy if you pay attention to her boring lectures. Which is important for her weekly quizzes.
She is very boring to listen to in her lecture. Her examples have mistakes and sometimes no one notices them, and when they do she won't even correct it. Her homework is exactly the same as her examples. Quizzes 20% are simple. Tests however are on steroids. Good luck, they are problems you've never seen or have enough time to finish.
By far the worst (and most difficult) class I have taken in my college career. The lectures are not helpful whatsoever and her tests are ridiculously difficult -- mostly due to the discrepancy between what she teaches and what type of problems actually show up on the quizzes/tests. Apparently curves the class... crossing fingers that I passed.
Weekly quiz that is usually not too difficult if you pay attention in class and do all the practice and hw problems. The tests though. Jfc. She will do everything she can to try to trick you. But as long as you stay within the class average you will pass. I had a 68 before the final and got curved to a B+. And I know I didn't do that good on it.
DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK! I never used it once, her lecture slides have everything you need to know. Tests and quizzes are graded toughly but she curves at the end. an A or a B is not that hard to get if you pay attention in class. Homework is optional, but you should probably do it because it will help on quizzes and tests.
Unless you're majoring in EE, you will hate this class. If the material doesn't click with you, look for outside help ASAP since she offers very few resources for studying. Homework is hit or miss on preparing you for the weekly quizzes. Tests are mostly tricks and things you've never seen. I learned almost nothing from this course, sadly.
poor lectures. exams questions were unlike HW or lecture problems.
Her lectures aren't very informative. Only go on Thursdays when there is quizzes in the last 15 minutes of class. All lectures are posted online and lecture examples and homework pretty much make up what the quiz and tests are. NEVER ASK ABOUT A CURVE
I just want to make a point, unless you like being treated rudely and being belittled. Do not take this professor. She will marginalize any interest you have in the subject. So Rude. Cannot ask questions without feeling discouraged. She literally does not care about any of her students or the effort they put in to learn.
Gives a quiz once a week. 2 tests + Final. Her tests are a lot harder than the homework and quizzes, so you better know how to analyze a circuit. She just reads off of a power point she posts. Never ask about a curve or you won't get one. Avoid, even though she is the only professor who teaches this course.
Easy course but she makes it almost impossible to pass. Required course, but UCF offers few choices, and you're lucky to get in. Lecture slides skip steps and are full of mistakes which make them confusing. Weekly quizzes are do-able but the 3 exams and final are hard, don't reflect the slides or quizzes, and are full of trick questions.
Her lecture notes don't do much to teach you as they skip steps and have many errors. Tests are worth about 80% of your grade. The other 20% is quizzes. Tests are way harder than homework and quizzes. She does a big square root curve, but only if you don't ask about it! I got an F on the all 3 tests and did decent on quizzes and ended with a C.
This was the worst experience I have had in college with a prof. Extremely thick accent, couldn't pronounce 'voltage' correctly and other terms which made the lectures extremely difficult. Not available to students and the TAs did not have office hours and weren't available for students. Asked for help, was told to just study more. Tests are rough.
Very little room for error. 80% is test and exams and 20% is difficult in class quizes. She has no option but to curve due to bad class averages. You would think she would improve her teaching methods and course structure. But I guess for her it's like if its broke why fix it.
It's not a hard class subject but average class is falling. You're probably asking, how? Tests are way harder than quizzes and hws and she makes sure to put tricky questions on it. I honestly put in so much time and effort when taking this class and no grades to show for it. This is coming from a A engineer student.
You know something is wrong when the average class grade is "F". Do whatever you can to avoid this instructor - she flunks nearly everyone. Trouble is, UCF, has too few instructors, and you may be stuck in this class thinking its required and you have no choice. FORGET IT. You probably won't pass and would have been better off not registering
Do not take her. Class average is an F, literally do not know how she has not been fired. You think everything is fine until you take the first test and then all of these reviews start to make sense.
Youll start the semester with the thought, she seems really nice and caring and youll end it tired of her presenting unfair and unnecessarily tricky exams. I did well in this course after hours and hours of studying, which proves it is passable but it is definitely possible to understand all course topics well and fail the exam which is unfair
If you ended up here, it's because you are struggling and yes, all of these reviews are true because I was you, reading these reviews about 4 months ago. BUT, I failed all of her exams, like literal straight up F's (52 on the 1st, 62 on the 2nd, 48 on the final, and probably a 50 quiz average) and passed with a C. Pray for a fat curve my friend.
All in all it is a complicated class, so attendance is recommended, otherwise it doesn't make as much sense. Tests are 80% of your grade, so make sure you prepare for tests, usually just 4 Q with sub parts, but each Q can make or break you! Don't ask for a curve, she says she doesn't give a curve, but at the final entered grade she does RMS curve.
Don't take her class. This class was a terrible experience. I failed every test, badly, and got a C with the curve but that's not a reason to take her class- if you have the opportunity to take any other professor, even if it means waiting a semester, do it. Fahim will crush your soul, and your GPA.
On the first day of class after reading these reviews you'll start doubting the credibility of these reviews, because she really does seem to have her class in order and planned out nicely, it seems like you're covering ground because you're doing good on the quizzes. Later you'll take the test and you'll realize just how mistaken you were. 0/10
I did not believe these reviews because Fahim seemed great during her lectures. I even got a 10/10 on the first quiz and thought the class was an easy A. But, the class is 80% tests. And her tests are way harder than the optional homework she gives and go beyond our quizzes that made you think you were ready(failed 2/3 tests). Wouldnt take again!
my eyes were drowsy anytime she spoke. lecture is boring, weekly quiz which was extremely hard was from the previous class and homework. you can review and do all homework within 2 days? i couldn't. doing bad on test was fatal because it was 20% for each but heavy and hard.
Quizzes every week and they are very hard, 3 exams in this course which it even harder than the quizzes. The professor assistants correct the exam and quizzes, some time they give me a good grade even though i didn't do good and some time they give you just 1 point out of 10 just because of small mistake you made. I really don't recommend her.
I took her a few semesters ago, and im just here to make sure that you know that shes the WORST professor I have even taken ... BY FAR.
The class is mostly based on the tests and the weekly quizzes. Even though she posts the slides online, go to class to get a better understanding of the content and make sure to do all of the HW even though it's optional. A lot of the people saying this class is impossible probably aren't doing either. It's a challenging class but not impossible.
Avoid if possible!!
Passed the first time around so not impossible. Weekly quizzes are fairly easy if you study (I didn't and failed almost all of them). Optional homework that helps learn the fundamentals. The tests are brutal because you have no idea what to expect, but try to find old exams to study (helped me do well on both midterms). Final is brutal. HUGE CURVE.
The quizzes in this class are easy as long as you study the homework. However, it is possible to fail this class even if you know the material. The whole class is just quizzes and tests. She gives partial credit but very little even if you only made a small mistake. Her exams and especially the final were brutal. Avoid this professor!
Everyone says she's awful, but if I'm being honest she's not that bad. The class is much harder if you don't do the optional homework, and the tests can be pretty tough. Weekly quizzes make you keep up with the class. If you're willing to put in the work to practice and study on your own, you'll be fine. Her final is awful but she curves majorly.
Professor Fahim's a pretty cool professor, and while I think that she'd probably be a pretty pleasant teacher in an in-person class setting, she doesn't seem to have made the shift to distanced learning well, making her a less than great choice while UCF is shifted to remote learning. Also note that the final grade is determined solely by tests.
I understand the transition from face-to-face classes to online is difficult, but this class was dreadful. She teaches straight from a PowerPoint so it is very difficult to understand how problems are being solved. You're only graded by 4 exams. There are 7 quizzes that are only for extra credit. Avoid if possible.
Avoid this professor at all costs, test averages and quizzes are extremely low and she thinks we're the problem. lc isnt that hard material wise. its just that her weekly quizzes and exams are VERY hard. dont even bother studying homework or the textbook bc the exams look NOTHING like them. does absolutely nothing to help u and just belitles u
Very unresponsive to email and outdated to technology. Not a good lecturer overall. If you can take this class with another professor, do so.
Exam was 40% of overall grade. Test accounted for 80% of grade abs were a lot harder than the hws and class examples. She did not keep correct grades in webcourses. Did not even follow her own syllabus. No curve.
The grading in this class is very stringent and not very lenient on partial credit. Be prepared to study hard to get a good grade.
I'm shocked at how bad her reviews are. Her lectures are very organized and she has the ability to "dumb down" the material enough so most understand it. The tests should not be hard if you studied extra problems. There isn't a huge amount if homework either.
There are so little assignments that making a small mistake on one of them TANKS you grade. Good luck on trying to email her and get a response. She's practically impossible to reach online, and even in her office hours she's hard to talk with. Lectures don't line up with exams, neither do assignments. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Horrible professor. Exams are 100 times harder than HW and practice problems. Impossible to talk to her. Has no understanding or respect for students.
Lectures fine, practice problems are useful, very few assignments, exams had some pretty tough questions on them so be prepared for some curveballs. Not terrible but there are definitely better options. My advice to get an A, practice a ton, go to the LC1 SI, and full send the test. 40% Exams 20% HW 40% Final. Good Luck. She silently curved at end.
Avoid at any cost, She is an extremely heavy lecturer, she will go on and on but what she teaches wasn't on the exams. there are a total of 4 HW's and three exams, the exams had an average of 50-55%. If you want to pass this class you NEED 100% on all HW and above aver in test. Doesn't answers e-mails and she really doesn't help during office hours
Believe the reviews. She is as bad as they say
Tests are worth 80% of your grade, you make a mistake you lose most of the points, does not answer questions will just repeat what she said last, best way to pass is to teach yourself, too many slides posted have wrong answers, I passed because I studied for weeks to get an A on the final weighted 40%, No formula sheets, grading scale is the curve.
Professor Fahim seems like a nice person but she should not be teaching. Her lectures are long, and heavy, and she's not very good at explaining either. She is VERY tough with her grading, giving little partial credit. Get ready to teach yourself and study 20+ hours for exams. She no longer curves but uses a different grading scale. Avoid!!
Dr. Fahim puts off an easy going attitude, but her class overall did not follow that tone. She doesn't give very many assignments during the semester, so your exam study resources are limited. As well, the exams were difficult to complete in the time allotted. Dr. Sapijaszko gives more work, but is much more respectful and understanding.
Dr. Fahim was amazing. Quizzes and homework weekly, but are crucial to understanding the material IMO. Provides exam reviews and walks you through them. Is available for office hours for students. She cares about students' understanding of the material and will even answer small exam questions to guide you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you put in the work.
Professor Fahim's class can be challenging, with exams worth 80% and little room for error. However, staying engaged and using resources like unstuck AI can help. The material is difficult but manageable if you put in the work.
