Professor Jobe takes the subject and the student into consideration. He wants you to leave with a Sociological understanding. His percentage rate of student success is very high due to the fact that he doesn't try to "trick you" or "test your limits". If all Professors his insight on simplicity of presentation, student success would truely go up.

I took Marriage and Family DVL. Which is the video class. He does not use the videos. This was an extremely easy class. The five open book tests took a little time to complete, but all the answers are in the book. He gives you study guides for the midterm and final. They are exactly the same questions you find on the midterm and final.

This man is gifted in sociology. You'll learn alot in his class. He made sociology easy to understand and very fun to attend his class. Everything about this class is great. Hes a fabulous teacher! Hes very entertaining & makes you enjoy coming 2 class. There was never a dull moment & he is EXTREMELY easy 2 look at! Alot of reading in the textbook but he breaks it down what 2 and not 2 read. His lectures are what the quizzes & exams are on. Two opprtunities for Extra Credit so there no way not to make an A. Fun & HOT!

Online class was easy. 5 exams, a midterm, a final, and a 5 page paper. He gives 2 attempts at the exams to ensure a good grade. You do read the ENTIRE textbook. He offers powerpoints and videos on Chapters online. He was a little slow on emails but returned them. This was my 2nd class with Prof. Jobe and it was a pleasure.

Professor Jobe is the Best! I took his sociology class last semester and it was the best class for at me at Seminole State College. He makes sure that you understand the material and wants all his students to succeed. Take this professor and you wont regret it.

I heard alot of good things about him but was very disappointed. He never handed anything back and i never knew my grade and everything was a joke didnt rly learn anything studied my butt off and only got a c when i was taking much harder courses and getting a's and b's ill be taking someone different for sociology next time.

Easy and fun class. He didn't teach much and spent a lot of time in talking about social issues and encouraged discussion and thinking. He gave great study guide. I studied that and got an A. Be sure to study the essay part. He graded easy. I barely used the book except for homework. He didn't return any assignments. Final exam was a paper.

Definitely one of the best professors around. He makes you think and learn what is being taught in class. Anyone complaining about grades is full of it. He say's the first day of class that you have to try and not get a good grade and it's true.

THIS GUY IS THE COOLEST TEACHER YOU WILL EVER HAVE, EVER. He is hilarious, he's sweet, he's extremely helpful, he's open, he's awesome. Some people had problems with the exercises in class, but it's the subject matter, not him. Hes not afraid to ask questions the whole world is. He goes out of his way to say hi outside of class if you run into him.

The clsss is not easy if you don't do the work. You will read the entire book to answer the questions. The professor is very helpful but does not take excuses. He is a great teacher and relates the issues discussed in class to real life situations. He even tells stories about family experiences which allow the imagination to expand and relate. He makes sure you pay attention and understand the material and as long as you pay attention to what he says you will pass the class with an A!

Great teacher, interesting class. Took it online make sure you read the text everything comes from the text. Only 3 unit tests, midterm, final and one paper. Prof. Jobe is upfront about his expectations and how to succeed in his class.

DO NOT let anyone deter you from taking this class. Prof Jobe is an incredible help in understanding that material. Some people in my class were unsure as to whether or not we were supposed to use citations IN OUR PAPERS. Don't skip over the work, put in some effort, interact, and don't be frivolous. Super easy class! Five tests, a midterm and final( which are taken on campus), and a five page paper on a topic you pick. Each test you can take two times and the highest grade is counted. And the last week of the semester you have a chance to redo tests for a better grade. Very easy and caring professor!

He was such a good teacher. He really drew me in to the subject even though this was one of those "I have to take this class because it's required." kind of classes. He is entertaining and by doing so he makes you remember the subject well. Very well recommended!

This class was so easy that it would take MORE effort for you to FAIL this class than to pass. Seriously, you'd really have to go out of your way to fail. I rented the book online vs buying a hard copy and once it's time for you to take tests, you will see exactly why having the book online is the better option. Do the work you'll be fine.

Amazing teacher! Easy A. Is very understanding. I took this online. If you're not able to go on campus to take midterm and final he will work with you, you just have to let him know in advance. He lets you take tests twice then at the end of the semester he opens all test and let you try for the third time. 5 exams and an essay!

Super EASY class. Textbook has ALL of the test answers. Entire course is 10 chapter tests, 20 questions each. 2 due every 2 weeks. Then there's the midterm, final, and one paper. So simple I couldn't believe it!

Took this class online. It was pretty laid back. Not too much work. He really cares about his students. If I had to, I would definitely take him again.

When I say this class is by far the best class I have taken all year. If you fail the class you honestly deserved it because there is no way you can fail. Even though we have about 3 weeks left I know I'll have an A. He doesn't give you too much, and each quiz is on the chapter you just read.

He really wants you to pass. He will help you anytime. The work isn't hard, it's just a lot of reading and quizzes. He lets you retake the quizzes too if you fail. The paper takes a lot of research, so don't wait until the end of the semester to do it!

This class is amazing. First year in college and love it. He does a great job in making sure his students pass! There are just a few exams over the chapters from the book and a final paper due at the end of the semester! He sends emails frequently to check in on students. :))

Lots of quizzes but overall they are easy and you have a long time to do them. I would take him again.
