This teacher is one of the most easier teacher I've ever had for a Finance class. You will get at least a B+ if you take him.

The Previous two people don't know what they are talking about. This is my favorite class not because I like economics, but because Professor Sabet knows what he is talking about and makes the class go by real fast by having a discussion, and not throwing the material in your face. VERY GOOD

He's awesome! He is sarcastic and god help you if you're late to his class, but he's a great teacher. Because of him, I'm getting an A in my worst subject. He's the kind of teacher that teaches because he genuinely wants his students to learn. There's not many teachers like that at FIU.

I took his class a couple of years ago. He had the tendency to be sarcastic, but he tried to be funny with it. As long as you sit close to the front, pay attention, and ask questions, you will be fine. This was my hardest subject matter yet, and I still pulled through with a "B" He's very nice, and helps if you have questions. :)

he is a very good professor, i'm not sure if he is rude but all i know is that he is pretty easy and if you do what you have to do you will do good in his class. I had him for international banking hybrid and it was the easiest class and i did not have to struggle to get an A.

This professor is very knowledgeable and explains well. He encourages questions and the exams are reasonable. He is also a professional that works for a major county agency so he knows real life aspects of the subject beyond what's in the book. He is a bit sarcastic but it is worth the real life lesson. This is one of the easiest professor I've taken. I had a fully online class with him. Just do the work when you suppose, the way he wants it and you'll get an A. It's that simple.

He's very fair about missed quizes (he often had make-up sessions during his office hours). My first impression was that he was rude, but I later realised that was just because online students often expect the professor to just bend all the rules. Study and you'll do fine. I got a B in the class.

Pretty easy quizzes are directly from his notes. All u do is 8 quizzes and 3 short essays and an easy webpage. Its pretty easy, and if you email him he will help you. I recommend it.

I thought he was very fair--maybe even a little lenient. His instructions were always to the letter. He does poke some fun at those that don't follow the instructions so read the syllabus and keep up with due dates. I took his class online, but he keeps regular office hours so you can go see him if you need help.

Class is very well organized and he is an easy grader. . There is 3 test, 3 essays and a student webpage. The test are 50 question, open book, and he gives you two hours to complete it online. The essay responses can be no longer than 20 lines, making the assignments pretty simple. I recommend this professor if you are a self-starter.

I took both ECO2023 and 2013 with him online...he comes off as a bit rude but if you listen to him, and do the assignments you'll pass his class. Make sure you read what he assigns, and turn in the assignments on time. If you do what he tells you to, you'll pass. I got A's in both his classes...not too bad for just following directions.

I had him for Microeconomics in Fall 2005. He was a very funny teacher and kept me awake in class. His tests are not that hard but you have to study for them. If you come to class everyday, he does give extra points and curves, especially if you come the class after he gave an exam, then you would get the least a C....no lower than that.

Take this class online with this professor. You get two weeks between tests, and there are only 4 very brief & easy writing assignments due for the entire semester. No midterm or final. You only have to read/study two chapters (about 40 pages) for each test. Only a few of the tests were mildly challenging, while the the rest were easy As.

Good teacher makes a boring subject like Economics actually interesting. He was out for about a month the semester that I took him... In comparison to the other guy he was a better teacher. I slept most of the time with the other guy or didn't even bother going to class just cus the subject was so blah. W/E highly recommend this teacher.

Make class pretty intersting considering it is economics. Nice guy as long as you follow his no talking rule. Grades come from just 4 exams. Highly recommended.

Took him for macro, and you have to be some kind of stoopid to get less than A- in this class. Show up to class every day if you can, he takes attendance for bonus points sometimes. Very generous curve on all exams, and the only reason you should fail is because you just don't care, and even then, he makes it hard to fail.

the guy is quite a character. makes people look like idiots when they're late to class. curves like a MoFo! 8 tests (50 questions/50 points). gave us answers to 18 questions once and gave additional 5 point curve at the end to each test. gave extra credit once for attendance. GOOD PROF. OVERALL

The finest prof that FIU has. I have taken this prof for all of my 3 economics courses. Read, study his notes, review for his exams from his thorough review and you'll do fine. I can't wait to see him within the next semester or so for international banking or financial crime. He's the best of the best.

Took online version. Essays and project are very simple. Quizzes are worded very poorly. Most questions look as if they have 3 or 4 correct answers! Despite that, if you read you will do well. He is very generous with curves and with his grading. Very nice professor.

Professor Sabet is amazing. I just finish taking ECO2023 online, the class consisted of 8 test and 4 essays given every 3 weeks. He curves which helps you get a better grade in the class. All you have to do is read the chapters and understand what you are reading. He provides a study guide on the syllabus which helps you understand the material.

This class is very easy, just a lot of writing/reading. He is an easy grader and is willing to curve. Exams are straight from the reading, online book (created by him). I did not who is going to be my professor and I was not expecting much. he is actually a good professor, explains material clearly and easy if you take the class on campus. he has a very good sense of humor and he gives you hints on the test. the reviews is really close to the test.

This class is Financial Management. REALLY EASY PROFESSOR! 2 tests are open book, 1 test take home, and 2 in class. ALL work comes from the book! He reads off powerpoints in class, but just read the notes and you will be fine! He even curves for tests that the students do bad in! REALLY GREAT PROF! Easy A!

Prof is hilarious! He hates when you ask the same question over and over again when he has already explained it clearly in the syllabus. I took this class online for summer B. The workload was just right, not too much but just enough. 4 essays of 500 word minimum, topics are interesting. 4 exams which are not easy but reasonable. If you study and try hard you can do ok. I highly recommend taking this course with professor sabet.

Took this class over the summer. Had to write 4 essays (500 words) on easy topics. Exams were reasonable. If you read the text and the chapter outlines he provides there is no reason to fail. I studied the day of the exam and got a B on all my exams. Ended up with a B+. I recommend Sabet.

Took his class online in Fall 2010. 3 cases that are from the book, he grades them from the key that he has ( very hard to get a 100), 2 essays ( easy) and 5 exams ( 100 questions each). Overall he is a good professor, definitely not an easy class, be prepared to read, write and study a lot. Exams are only available to take on Sundays.

One of the best professors to take FIN3403 with. Class meetings are optional since all exams online. His grading scale is different to other FIN prof so if you read the texts and study concepts you will do great! Take him!!

I have mixed feelings here. He's an okay lecturer, a nice guy but a smartass pain in the neck too. A dictator in class, so if ECO interests you and you would like to engage him and the class in dialogue forget it. Tests were pretty easy but half the class was in the pits (bad instruction?) So you have to study. He curves though, so don't panic.

Great Prof but you have to have thick skin with his sense of humor. he is funny and he shows concern for students. Emphasis on honesty and intergrity. 3 exams only. i took micro and macro online with him and i think he is an awesome professor, granted you need to study ALOT and learn the material on your own but he gives a huge curve. had a test every other week 50 question multiple choice and 4 short essays that are basically free A's.

I took this class online and it was an excellent choice. Professor Sabet does have a lot of assignments, but as long as you do them by his guidelines which are not hard you get full credit, even if you don't say anything of substance. The tests are easy because they are based on a virtual text book where each chapter is about 6 pages.

Prof. Sabet is a great professor. All the work he gives is manageable (does not overflow you with work) and gives you plenty of time to do the work. Took it online, tests were not that bad, and assignments were pretty easy. All in all he is definitely a teacher to take if you are looking for a not so difficult online class. He makes it fun.

I took this course online for Summer B. I thought the professor was extremely clear about his syllabus as though some students did not take the time to read it and misunderstood a few important items. Once the book is read and you understand the material, its an Easy A.

Easy A. I failed last semester micro and decided to take it online. It's really not that bad, just take notes for all the chapters and take your time to read. 4 exams and 2 shot easy essays.

Not hard at all. Took it online and have gotten A's and B's on all exams so far. There are two 500wd essays and 4 exams. I never had to speak with him or email him, but I hear he answers his emails quickly.

Seriously these people need to calm down. He isnt rude if you follow directions, the tests are straight forward, and obviously he wont hold your hand if you take it online. The essays are SO EASY. The class is what it is, I was HORRIBLE at Econ and managed a B and an A for macro and micro. Like people freak out unless an A is handed to them.

This class was extremely easy and the professor really helpful. I got an A and he bumps up one essay out of the two you do if he sees the class is doing bad. I really recommend it. I sent him 1 e-mail all year and he answer within minutes and was extremely helpful. 10/10 Class

Very straight forward. Easy to get an A but he is also real quick to take off points just for format. Even though you may know the material, he takes off points for submission. Guess have students learn isn't his goal. Follow the format to a T or he will take off a significant amount of points.

Highly recommend this professor. Although it is an online class , he takes his time responding to inquiries and is a delight ! He has us participate by watching interesting videos on current events just to get our intake. The class consists of discussions , two essays and 4 exams. Very possible to receive an A if you do the work.

Amazing professor, helps you a lot by giving extra credit and study guides. You need to go and take notes and pay attention to pass its easy if you do that. My favorite professor by far.

Took his class online. If you can get him take him!! He's a very lenient grader. 4 exams on four chapters each, very few calculations. 2 discussions and two 250 word essays. Not a lot of work. Didn't have any video lectures but he provides chapter notes. It basically summarizes what is in the textbook. Good prof and always emails students. Take him

4 tests in total (4 chapters each) He can get sidetracked A LOT when he talks about his family and stuff but hes funny and its enjoyable. You dont need to go to class to pass,I recommend just reading the book and you will pass. Most of his test are key terms and every test he gave us at least a 10pt curve when he said he wont. Gives great reviews!

I took this ECO 2013 online with Sabet, and I have to say it was one of my easiest classes so far. Class consists of 2 essays, 2 discussion, and 4 exams. Easy A.

Took online, easy A and at the end elevated everyones garde an entire letter grade anyway. Has office hours and will answer questions. Take him!!!

Easy A. You must do all assignments and he is very specific of how you should submit it. Must follow all his requirements in order to get a full grade. I missed two assignments and still got to pass the class. He's fair.

Such an easy class and the book isn't necessary. 4 exams that are not at all difficult, 2 short discussion posts, and 2 short essays. Definitely recommend him.

Good professor. You really dont need the book, just watch his lectures and read all the notes and other materials he gives. 4 tests that are not that difficult. Put effort into the class and it should be a breeze.

Excellent professor! I took him for 2 Finance classes and really enjoyed the classes. Very tough grader but if you follow his grading criteria to a T you will pass with an A. 2 exams, 2 case studies, 2 essays, and 6 discussion posts. Do not fall behind! You do not need to buy the book. All his tests are from his lecture notes. Great class!

Took the class online, gives you everything that is due on the beginning of the term so you can work at your own pace and turn it in on the due date. 2 discussion questions, 2 essays and 4 exams. Very easy class. 4 exams and 3 discussion board posts all done online. Be careful you don't miss the deadlines though. I missed the deadline for one of the exams and I ended up with a B instead of an A.

took both this semester 2013 & 2023 online straight forward he uses book, his online notes, use whatever else you can find online. Tests all online, timed, material knowledge or where to find it is a must, will respond to emails but not very friendly, do your work. No extra credit. 4 tests 3 assignments about 250-300words & response to students 175

I'm taking this class online. The exams are easy if you actually read and look over the material. I recently found myself with a blackboard technical issue and he not only responded super quickly but told me what to do in order to help resolve the issue. Super understanding and responds quickly to e-mails.

Four exams throughout the semester and a discussion along with each one. Online is much easier than in person from what I heard. You have to reply to three other students discussions but that is super easy. He says what he expects from the students and he is super understanding and nice.

I would recommend this class for Fin 3403. It is one of the easiest one and Finance courses are hard. But it is super easy with this professor. Great lecture and easy exams.

This online course consisted of 4 non-proctored tests 22% each and 4 homework assignments 4% each. This course was very easy and was not time consuming at all. All course material is clearly described and provided on blackboard.

Professor Sabet gives you the resources you need to pass however you need to put in the time to do well in tests. It's not a hard class as long as you study. I would reccomend him!

Such an easy class, just make sure you do the discussion he gives 5 days to do them. Start early and you wont have a problem! i definitely recommend the class its alot easier than it seems

Loved this class. I failed macro before taking Professor Sabet. He is extremely easy. 3-4 tests and 3 discussions. Do the discussions even if they are only 4 points each. The tests are 50 questions and EVERYTHING is in his powerpoints/posts on blackboard. No need to buy the textbooks. Everything is on blackboard.

Honestly, just do what's assigned on time and you'll pass with a good grade. The tests aren't bad and there are four of them I believe. Do the discussions! They are easy and can help your grade.

I took this class online and it was so easy. All the answers to the tests are online. There are 4 tests and 4 discussions. As long as you turn in the discussion you will get credit. He is kind of a jerk though just because if you dont turn it in theres not a lot of leeway.

Took online, 3 group discussions (he posts topic and you have to write 100-150 words on each item - will require you to research subject either in book or online but book not necessary, plus respond to other students postings 75 words each) - 4 tests. Tests are difficult but if can use quizlet and other online resources for this you will be fine.

This professor was great in my opinion. He makes the class very straight forward and easy to follow. Four exams and a small discussion following each. Just study for them or have your notes handy and you'll be fine.

So, hes very strict on his rubric that he has for grading essays. He will deduct points for every 50 or 100 words you go over and even more points if your essay resembles anything online because of its shortness. I took him for micro and then decided to take him again for macro. Because if you follow instructions, an A is Very doable ;)

Grading scale is different than most classes (so an 88% is still an A- for example). Class consisted of 3 very short essays worth 4 points each. Must stick EXACTLY to his rubric to receive full points! The 4 exams were a little tricky but definitely doable. The textbook is free but he posts powerpts based off the textbook. Just review before exams

I had Dr. Sabet last fall for ECO2013 online as a dual enrollment class while in the 12th grade. Overall, it was an easy A. The assignments were just six in total: four tests and two essays. As long as you do your work, you should be fine.

The Macroeconomics online course was very self explanatory. Read the required chapters, do the required written essays and take the test on the reading material. If you do that, you will pass. I would take this professor again. He gives enough time in between to get the material read before taking the test

I took ECO2013 online with him and it was a breeze. Four 150-300 word essays (basically a page) and four exams. He's very clear on what he wants on the syllabus so if you get a bad grade that just means you didn't read it. READ THE SYLLABUS AND YOU WILL GET AN A!

You are graded by 4 writing assignments and 4 tests. He gives you plenty of time prepare your writing assignments to turn in on a specific day. Pay attention to reading charts and understand what they mean. Do not miss a test, he does not make exceptions unless it was prearranged. He will give you a 0! He also gives plenty of reminders. The best online class I ever took, short assignments so helpful

This class was very easy online there was 2 essays and 4 tests. Everything was online like the textbook there was free pdf versions and the professor is easy just do what the syllabus says. The only thing for the tests they would be locked and only accessed the same day they were due.

He responds to emails very quickly. The tests are not proctored and easy if you know the material. There is one essay and 6 class discussions. A pretty easy class overall.

Lots of writing in this course. You've got 6-discussions, 2-Cases, and 2-Essays. Not hard, but if you follow his guidelines to the T, you'll be ok. I don't believe he's a harsh grader. Additionally, 2-Exams, not proctored or lockdown, but I recommend reading his class notes, as this will help with the exams.

The class was fairly easy. There are 2 cases, 2 essays, 2 exams, and 6 discussions. If you don't like to read or write I do not recommend you take this class. The professor grades fairly and responds to his emails and is willing to help you. The textbook is not needed since the test are based on his lecture notes, read carefully.

Despite the other reviews I proceeded to join his class and I have no regrets. He makes everything he expects very clear in the syllabus. I advised that you complete what you can from the syllabus do not wait until he unlocks the assignment. Follow the syllabus and you'll be fine.
