Very Easy! If you take notes and pay attention there is no need to buy the book! All the questions on his tests are from his notes. Good Luck!

He is wonderful! I loved going to class because he was always informative and interesting. His tests are easy as long as you study your notes. For the ladies, he has a really large package...I think he chooses his pants just to show it off.

His accent and gentle voice rather ruins his lectures. He's a very gentle-hearted fellow and very helpful and sympathetic.

i was really excited about this class, but he's killed geography. In fact, it doesn't even seem like he teaches geography... so if you AREN'T interested in Geography, take this class, if you are, try someone else

Excellent professor. Knows his material WELL. Very humble and nice guy. Does anything he can to help you and loves to share his knowledge as much as he can. The class is very basic and straight-forward, just like the tests are. Just review your daily notes and you will do well on the tests. Lots of good videos too!! Not bad at all...

I must say, Ghosheh is a kind, mild-mannered little man, but his accent is kind of thick, and he is a bit too-softspoken. Not especially engaging, but he is knowledgeable.

the class is all based around lectures and videos. do not buy the book! you will not need it. i never opened my all semster and i have a b+. the tests are all mutliple choice and pretty easy for the most part. i would take another class from him!!

Don't buy the book, I got an A and never cracked it!!!! Listen to the lecture/videos and take good notes. He tells VERY INTERESTING stories!! I will take a class from him again.

This professor is very intelligent. He knows a lot about the subject, yet doesn't treat students as if they are inferior for not having the same amount of knowledge. Very very down to earth, patient, (and attractive). Take him if you get the chance.

I am not a geography major, but I had him for world geog. once and had to take him twice more, I tried to fit him in everywhere. I learned so much from him, he knows everything about everywhere. The only way you can't love him is to just not be interested in learning anything new about the world. If I wasn't graduating, I'd take him again.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MAN! At first I thought the class was just an easy A, but by the end I realized I loved this class and learned so much I almost changed my major. Pay attention, take notes, and ask questions. He is extremely helpful and genuinely wants students to learn. He is passionate about what he teaches. I learned alot from the videos.

Professor Ghosheh presents the information from your text in a very understandable way. His test are fair and if you study you will be able to get an A easily. I learned a great deal from this class.

He's a cool guy. The tests can be tricky, but if you know your notes you'll do fine. He tells you to read the chapters but there's really no point. Class can be boring at times. But all in all, decent class.

Mid-East geography~ Super easy if you already know just about anything about the region. He tends to teach as if we are retarded with a lot of repetition but if you don't know anything, it makes the test a breeze. You don't need the book and the assigned readings aren't needed for the tests and aren't discussed in class. Easy +A.

He's the best geography professor out there, so take him if you get the chance. You learn a lot, he keeps it interesting, and his tests aren't that hard, although you do have to study - but that's just a part of college, isn't it? There isn't much class participation, so I guess it can get boring sometimes, but like I said, it's a piece of cake.

KNows his stuff...very good teacher. I liked coloring the maps. Class can be a little boring but the movies were interesting. Didn't use the book at all.

dr.Baher Ghosheh was very enlightening- i took his geo of the middle east class my last semester of my sr. year and i was highly informed- hes a brilliant man with a wealth of knowledge about the middle east- he brought in food for us to try from other countries which i found a nice idea- great class to take to relax and absorb!!

geography isn't my best subject but he somehow makes it interesting didn't use the book at all, read the notes and study the maps and you will do fine. Don't pick a front seat, his B.O. stinks horribly bad I unfortunately sit in a front seat and have to cover my nose everytime he walks by bc it's that bad, With minimal effort a B is highly possible

Geo of Asia was a interesting class. You will learn so much about Asia and Dr. Ghosheh is a nice and helpful professor.

Great Professor, His lectures are from the book mostly but does add some of his own knowledge. Highly recommend this professor. Tests are easy. He does not try to trick you. You either know the material or you dont!

He was a very good teacher, very clear & made sure that you understood what you were learning. I highly recommend him.

Very nice guy, yet is kind of tough if you are not geographically inclined. Can thoroughly understand everything he says in class, yet his tests are very hard. Read every word in the book and study every statistic he gives you and you should be fine. Very nice and kind but difficult.

I had to take the course and did not know what to expect. After 5 years of college, I can say I learned more in world geography than in any other course. His tests are hard but the class was very interesting and informative.

Loved it. Learned so much about Asia, Japan, China, India. He uses many short video in class and share his experience living and visiting these countries. Very interesting. Makes me want to travel to all those places.

The man knows his stuff. He teaches from knowlegable sources and from his experiences. I generally did well in his classes. I was fairly enlightened by the course. His handwriting's rough at times, but I've seen worse. He can be hard to get in contact with outside of office hours. Good with OSD students.

Dr. Ghosheh is a great Professor. He is very knowledgeable about the subjects he teaches and is willing to help with anything you. Tests are multiple choice and True or False, while homework assignments are few and far between. Hes a great guy and I pumped to take another one of his courses next semester.

Dr. Ghosheh is the man! I hate historygeography but he actually made class bearable. His tests are really hard so you really have to study but everything on the tests is in the notes you take in class, so DON'T skip!! I never opened my book, only used my notes, and got an A. The project is super easy, he doesn't expect much from it. 100% recommend

Dr. Ghosheh is a great professor, but his tests are ridiculously difficult. I studied for an entire week before a test and still did poorly. Make sure you take notes on EVERYTHING he is saying, and always go over the most random facts because they will always be on the test.

Learned a lot from this class! Ghosheh is very knowledgeable of the subject. If you study often for his tests, you can get a B in class. Definitely go to class and pay attention because his lectures are important for the tests! Didn't use the textbook at all. Very few homework assignments.

His class is difficult. He lectures every class so make sure you attend and take good notes. The readings do help but you want to make sure you show up to class and actually pay attention during lecture. Tests, maps, and your final presentation are what's graded. He does drop your lowest test grade, but still make sure you do really well on tests.

Actually a very nice guy! His class may have been a little challenging, but it never got to the point where I wanted to drop the class entirely. He'll say that you need a textbook, but you really don't. I rented mine out for the class, and only brought it in once or twice. Everything else in his class is either lectures or tests.

He is so sweet, I recommend taking him. He has been one of my favorite professors. I learned so much in this class. His tests are tricky, but he gives a lot of extra credit!

I love him! He is so nice and willing to help. As long as you take notes, you will pass. He is a fair grader too! He talks pretty fast but after a few weeks, you get used to it. I highly recommend him. He is so nice!!!
