I approve this class for anyone trying to learn the basic fundameantals of electricity...

Dr. Balu is an outstanding and knowledgeable professor in Statistics, as well as other thing. I was afraid to take the courses, but with his teaching skills and techniques I recieved an A+.This class was very informative for even other classes I am taking!

What great person to take this class for. He was helpful to all of us in this class. He use our time in the classroom wisely and was big on one on one time.

He is really nice. He made the course statistics really easy and interesting for us. I love him a lot!

He made this course very interesting. He was very patience in making sure I understood the material before moving on. The course required many assignments, but he made it fun. I did not miss a day in the class because missing a day is like missing a week since some much information was covered in one section. I now know more about Statisics.

I was not excited about taking statistics on a graduate level. I had taken the course during undergrad and had barely came out with a C. This professor really gave me a new understanding of statistics.

I would definitely take more classes from this professor. If you are looking for a professor that is sympathetic to the fact you might be clueless on the subject area, this guy is your guy. He will help you and he will be genuine. Don't be about the GRADE be about learning the content.

Class was a challenge, however I learned many concepts I was previously unfamiliar with. It is possible to earn an A, you just have to work for it. Overall good class and good teacher.

I was very intimidated by the jargon and the classwork originally. I spoke with Dr. Balu and he was very helpful in reassuring me that the information could be mastered with more effort on my part. Balu is easy to talk to and consistent with grading. Overall, I have learned a lot in this class.

I will admit that although I had prior interest in the class, at the end of the semester I understood it more and was more inquisitive. There is still no love for the subject area, but I do have a better understanding of the concept.

Great Instructor. He was very helpful. He knew the content of the class extremely well. Worked with the students in every way possible to make sure we really understood the material. I would certainly take a class under him again.

Knows his stuff and will help you out. Lots of dry humor. Only thing i really dont like, he runs over his class time every single class.

Balu's tests are kind of unique. they are worded so precise that they are hard. Take notes from his powerpoint, and make sure to listen. that's all you need to know.

Despite the strong accent he is very helpfull in working with you. If you show up you pass.

Throughout the semester i started off terrible but after he saw my academic potential he help me catch up to where i need to be. The issue of Job Training and Knowledge was greatly improved while working with Dr. Balu. And he is one of the FEW instructors that will take time to help others students away from normal Classroom
