She does not know how to teach. Her grading system is stoopid! She uses her experience to teach. One example, she used flashcards when she went to school so she makes her students do them for points. If you don't do it, then you lose points! Bulls#!&

very hard, and lots and lots of work.. 10 hrs minium to get a at least a C in the class she saids and she sounds like a bimbo when she talks droped her the 1st day of class and probably many others.

This teacher takes most of her time fussing about the seating charts and not enough time to even teach the class about the chapters in the book. She does not even help you with the even homework assigments and she is the worst teacher I ever had.

if you know what your doing go ahead, but she takes role. if you love hearing out the prehistoric, when i was in college days, you'll love this class, especially when she gives you a test on nothing that she has even mentioned, drop while you still can

She's horrible, can't teach, hard tests, stupid report.

She is so strick: no gum, no drink or even late in a minutes. Her note is messy and hard to read. Goes quickly, cross thing whenever she wants and also have presentation which isn't helful at all. That's why her class still have 24 available sits.

She sucks as a professor. She gets lost reading her own notes. No food or drinks in class. Lots of homework, projects, and exams are every other week and they are hard and she doesnt give full class time to do them.

It's only my 5th day with her, I didn't staple my paper and she called me a delinquent. I haven't heard that word since 1980's movies. All that my friends and I do is make fun of her incompetence and how she treats us like high school students.

if you wanna die. then take this class. this is like alg 1 stuff. everybody should be spending like 20 mins on hw, but instead everybody is like spending 3 hrs on it. she tells stories how she did 30 hrs of pre-algebra hw when she was in high school and how she got an A on it and how much she owned.

SHE IS A BAD TEACHER!!! she really hates people chewing gum in class, and one time I was just rolling my tongue and she yelled at me to get rid of the gum when I wasn't chewing anything! she did that to another guy in my class! she goes over things too fast and you can't really ask any questions!

doesnt review for tests, goes over problems that really dont help with the homework, she doesnt clarify what the test will really include, for exapmple i got a low grade on my mid cuz she ended up including some originally omitted chapters. stay away unless u want a reason to die

i made the mistake of thinking id get by, and didnt drop :( major bummer. Shes probably the least inteligent teacher on campus.It seems as if she likes making students feel stupid.She doesnt pay attention, and tells the class their wrong , when their right,then she practically calls us stupid

If she's teaching, don't touch the class with a 10-foot pole. Very unclear, brags about her being a straight-A student. When asked how to do a problem, she's not sure and will "get back to you tomorrow". Tests on definitions, not math problems. Bad lecturer, makes mistakes too many times.

Don't take her! SHe has no idea what she talks about. the homework problems are very tough. she does not give extra credit. her exams are unbearable. she told us that there was only 4 students left in her trig class. you can guess from that! no one likes her. she wants everyone to fail.

I'll say it as well. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR. She gets visibly flustered and irritated when asked to clarify something. She often zealously "corrects" others' "mistakes" when they're merely trying to point out her own. And trust me, she makes MULTIPLE math goofs EVERY class session. Ridiculous.

One of the worst math experiences in my schoolastic career. Explainations are unclear, tests are largely unrelated to the stuff you need to learn (vocab?). Avoid this teacher. Also isolates and intimidates students.

Worst teacher I have ever had!! The class was based on definitions and she is very critical when grading tests. She messes up all the time and is every unclear. The class is difficult to get a "C" in let alone an "A". She says it herself, "10 hours outside of class if you want to get a "C".

She was not the worst teacher I've had but she totally blew what I knew about math apart. I took a class equivalent to Math1A before and got a better grade in that class than hers. She CAN NOT TEACH. This professor is the worst I had in my life. I don't think she qualifies to be a Math teacher no way. I like to know if there is anything we the student can do to kick her ass out we came to learn not to deal her stupiness. Won't take her class or you will be sorry.

I just drop her class.she is not clear in what she is doing, makes many mistakes in class she can even find the solution for problems in the book she does not know how to do the problems. you will learn nothing with her.

If you have to take 112, go directly to MPS math with Lopez. Otherwise, take basketweaving, before you take her class. She gives outrageous amounts of homework, confuses you with her explanations, gives tests that have way too many questions and not enough time,and treats people like they're 6 year olds.No matter what you do, drop her class!!!!

DONT EVER TAKE HER! She is hella bad! doesn't know what she is talking about in the class. I got a C in the class. After that I took the placement test again and got placed in math 49B. So if you are not that good in math and if you really want to learn something then DO NOT TAKE HER! Her tests are extremely hard too!

I decided to take trig over again to refresh my memory. i had taken it in high school and got an A. However she is TERRIBLE! her lectures are pointless, it would be better to study from the book. She can not explain well and her online methods of doing homework are chaos. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Terrible all around. She actually made us get TWO SEPERATE BOOKS. Unfortunately she explains everything from one book and homework/tests are based on the other. I got a A in trig last year and am barely pulling a C+ in this class. Her curve is also horrible, she just makes them up and it isnt based on the relative standing of students.

Her philosophy is "You need to spend at least 3 hours every night studying in order to get a C, if you want a better grade than a C, study more" When people complain in class that she is unclear or the homework/test doesnt cover what we cover in class, her response: "Study more! (repeats philosophy on homework)"

DO NOT take her class.You'll do more harm to your GPA and your interest in math rather than learn something valuable in her class.She give so much homework!It's even better to sit & learn math on your own rather than with her cuz what's she's saying is "It's in your book, I am gonna talk about it anymore."

She's terrible. Drops the lowest test score, but still. Wants to teach according to her schedule and will go on no matter if students understand the material or not. Lectures are incredibly boring, calls on random people. Kind of absentminded. Lets you have five absences without penalty, but it's not like I ever want to go to her class anyway.

AVOID HER!! It is best to drop. She doesn't make sense even though she speaks clear English. Forces you to do hw on REUSED paper (if you don't do so, you lose points). She makes things more complicated than they should be. AVOID

To the person below me: the only good thing is, she gave our class extra cred for using recycled paper, but she didn't dock points...

Very hard teacher. Doesn't explain lessons at all. Never uses examples. EXTREMELY hard tests. Not a good teacher at all!

She is just horrible. I can't believe she's still a teacher. She explains how this and that happens, but the stuff she explains is never on hw or test.

I didn't like math but after having this teacher i began to hate it, i didn't get most of it and she does not think to slow down, plus she makes you feel uncomfortable with asking questions. She yells back at u saying why don't you get it?

For tests, she puts problems that we didn't learn. After the 1st midterm, 19 out of 30 ppl dropped. Spends too much time on geometry. HW is everyday, and she tries to help us with hard problem, BUT she spends too much time on basics(i.e. degrees in a circle)that there is no time for lecture and so we don't know how to do the HW for the next day.

Sorry to say this, but she is really boring. She usually gets stuck on book problem. Home work are required to turn it. You can get some extra credit. NOT recommend!!!

Ditzy, confused and rude. needs to quit reliving her graduate school days and work on helping her students learn. She admitted that only 7 students last quarter got above a C. That should be a BIG red flag. Needs to focus and think before she writes down notes

Most terrible teacher I have ever known. I had no option but to take her class. She makes you work like a dog for a B grade. She does not teach well, only repeats what you can find in the text book. Lets put it this way. When the school was having lay offs, she should have been first to go. She gets lost during lectures, makes you learn more vocab than math, makes atleast 3 mistakes a day, and yells at you for being a few seconds late when 80% of the time shes not even on time. Teaches vocab that she writes illegibly then scrolls away before you can decipher. You cannot just use ones from book. Yells at you for NOT asking questions and yells at you FOR asking questions. Says quetions take up too much time-something she does often with, “when I was at Berkeley” stories. Beyond petty when it comes to test, HW is useless.

Worst math teacher ever. Pretty much impossible to pass her tests unless you spend 15 hours a week studying and doing homework. Her final basically makes or breaks you and she forgot to bring her OWN final in and took another teacher's. She said her final would be multiple choice but the final she took had a 2x points on the response questions.
